Krissy looked down at Kayla ever so briefly and smiled. "I'm so happy you two are...you know." she blushed a bit "Oh Helios...yeh know how he is. He dragged me down into a forbidden area and his big mouth got us into trouble. Kaz put a curse on me... If I go within five feet of Helios I will experience excruciating pain...I haven't seen me fiancee' since." she said the last bit with a bit of anger in her voice."There are other bits of the curse, but yeh get the main idea. " Krissy said glumly. "If we still get married I'm going to expect yeh there as me maid of honor yeh know!" She winked trying to make light of the situation.

She was halfway bringing another piece of cake to her mouth when she stopped. The cake hovering in mid air before she slowly put it back down onto her plate.

"Bloody hell! That's a bit extreme isn't it?" Kayla had always had the utmost respect for Professor Kazimeriz but this was just a bit out there even for him. "Normally I would try and lift the curse myself but Kazi is one powerful wizard and I might just do more harm than good."

She picked up her fork again an put the cake into her mouth and chewed it slowly. This was the real reason she had stopped at Puddifoot's, Nicholai wasn't all that keen on her eating too much sweet stuff. But well after the day she'd had, she was entitled to it. "What's this if? I thought you two had finally got your acts together?" She raised her eyebrow again at Krissy. "And of course I will be your maid of honor."

Krissy sighed. " t`was rather harsh but it's jest something we have to deal with...The if, well...Kaz mentioned that he is rather old, should he die before he lifts the curse we can never go near one another again." She was near tears. "Helios was assigned as a slave for burnbury as part of his punishment. I never see him anymore let alone am in the same room. What if he decides he doesn't want me anymore?" A sound of genuine concern came from Krissy's throat.

"Oh please. Kazi, is too stubborn to die, he'll stay alive just to spite the hell out of his enemies." Although that duel with Truebridge must have shook him, if he is no longer the DADA Professor.

Kayla reached across and placed her hand on Krissy's. "Of course he will. He has loved you for years, it just took him that long to realise it. You two were destined to be together a bit like me and Nicholai."

Deciding it was best to change the subject and keep Krissy from falling apart. "So tell me about this hot new DADA Professor. I've received a couple of messages from him but never actually seen him. He must be pretty good looking if he's got you to take your eyes of Helios for more than five seconds" she teased, giving Krissy's hand a squeeze before eating some more cake.

Krissy's eyes lit up at the mention of the new professor. "I know what yeh are doing lass, but yes. Professor Lawson is jest...wow." She blushed. "He's gorgeous, and bloody brilliant! His first lesson showed us all about wand holsters." Pulling up her sleeve she showed Kayla the Burgundy dragon hide wrist holster containing her wand. "And this is a secret..."she winked as she lifted up her robe and revealed her matching ankle holster holding her mother's old wand. "Yeh know...jest in case."Krissy chuckled.

"Oh well now there's a class I would of aced." Actually she had always aced DADA but that was one class she could probably have taught herself.

Kayla looked at Krissy, impressed. "It took the hot DADA Professor to get you to arm yourself properly. I have been trying to do that for years." She chuckled and gave Krissy a wink as she showed her own wrist holster. "And just a hint. Always move your spare wand around in different spots, that way enemies will never know where you are going to pull the next one from. Not that you have any enemies" she added hastily. Kayla herself was wearing her spare wand on her back today.

"So other than the school flooding and what not. What else has been going on?" she asked eagerly wanting to know everything that was happening at the castle and its occupants.

Krissy laughed, "Aye, yeh have been trying to get me one of these things for a long while...but with Rosa being loose... yeh know. " Krissy shrugged "She's not me enemy, but she knows of me and that is bad enough... don't yeh worry I know I need to move me spare wand around." She smiled.
Krissy sighed. "I've been sadly out of the loop around school. yeh probably know the gossip better than I. After the whole curse thing with Kaz and then the bloody gossip column written about Helios and I, Not even the firsties will acknowledge me...UGH!" She shook her head angrily. "Though I have heard that professor Lawson is having a bit of an affair with Bunbunz..." Krissy rolled her eyes. was that a flicker of jealousy?!

"Good girl. Because I wouldn't put it passed Rosa, to visit my friends to find out where I am." Kayla gritted her teeth for a moment, there would be a whole of trouble if that woman did go anywhere near her friends.

Kayla looked at Krissy in surprise. "They have a gossip column now?" Thank Merlin she wasn't at school anymore, how many times would she find herself in there. "Really? Oh how juicy. Well Bunz, is really attractive, I know a lot of the guys all had crushes on her."

Cedric entered Madam Puddifoot's,As he entered,He noticed a very familiar face,Face that he is stuck in his mind,It was Kayla.He missed his prefect,He hopes that Kayla is goin to back at hogwarts again.He waved then rushed towards the girl,

"Kaylaaaaaaaaaa!"He greeted,He feels happy to see Kayla again."What's up?"He asked smiling widely.He wonders where Tobi was up to also.

Why they left Hogwarts?

Kayla dropped her fork and flicked her wrist and her wand was in her hand within seconds as she turned towards the voice. Her face visibly relaxed as she spotted Cedric and she re-holstered her wand.

"Hey Cedric. How are you?" She looked briefly at Krissy and then back to Cedric. "I'm just in Hogsmeade visiting a few friends and then I have to leave again."

"Hey relax."Cedric scowled as Kayla took out her wand then re-holstered it.

Hmm,that gave me a hint!!!

Because of Kayla's quick response,He was thinking if their prefect is undergoing on a training,to be auror,He bet.

"Aww,you're leaving again,Hmm,I think that you need to talk to everybody in our house,They need discipline."He uttered emphasizing his last word.

"Sorry Cedric, old habits die hard" she gestured towards the chair. "Why don't you have a seat."

Kayla chuckled at Cedric's comment, she was pretty sure she had pretty much said the same things to Vanessa, just a little while ago. "Well I have spoken to Prefect Corbette, just before and I gave her a few tips." She picked up her tea and took a sip eyeing Cedric from over the rim of the cup. "I can't go back into the school Ced, so unless you're going to bring all the Huffie's down here I really can't speak to them. Aww Ced do you miss me or something?"

"Hahaha.Yeah,I really should take at seat."He answered.He must admit that he really missed their prefect.

"Hmm,Prefect Corbette,"He paused."Why you can't talk to them,especially to Jake and Dom."Cedric suggest.Cedric glanced at Kayla.

Did I miss her?Yes

Did I want her to come back?Yes

"I must say that I miss you."He admitted blushing a litlle.

"Well I have spoken to Jake" she paused as she put her cup back down onto the table and she sighed. "It didn't go very well I'm afraid, we got into an argument and well...he bit me actually." Kayla looked at her arm again and shrugged.

"I don't go to Hogwarts anymore Ced, so I can't go waltzing in there as though I do. You're just going to have to deal with the Prefects you have." She leaned over and ruffled his hair a little. "I miss you too Cedric." There were a lot of people she missed but unfortunately she couldn't see them all.

"J-j-jake bit you?"He asked,astonished.

How dare jake to bit Kayla?.He noticed that Kayla looked at her arm,So Jake bit Kayla hours or maybe days ago.He took Kayla's arms and so Jake's bite.

Very very sharp teeth!!!

"I'd always wonder why Jake is so rebellious these days.I must admit that these things happens to him when you left.Hufflepuffs is in the last place also this term."He informed shrugging his shoulder,He didn't want Kayla to be ashamed because she left just informing her.

"Yeah,I just need to deal with the prefects I have."Then paused."I'd really missed...you"He sighed this time,He hugged Kayla for a few seconds.

"Next term,Dom is graduating,I'll do my best to replace him as a prefect.And remember that we support you on whatever you like or makes you happy"

As she took another sip of her tea, Kayla looked at Cedric's face and she could sense his mood almost immediately, it was a bit the same way Plymouth had reacted. "Yeah he did. Look Ced, don't hassle him about it okay. It didn't hurt at all and I will deal with him in good time."

Oh yes Jacob Upstead, was going to get a rude shock when summer rolled around and she was waiting for him. Kayla groaned softly as Cedric went on about Jake. "Gee Ced, make me feel guilty why don't you. I had no choice, I couldn't come back to school." What she wouldn't give to be back at school right now. "Oh I heard that Hufflepuff was in last place" she scowled for a moment thinking about it. "Do me a favor Ced? Tell Denton, to stop making goo-goo eyes at the Ravenclaw Quidditch Captain and get his house back into order or I will seek him out and hurt him."

Kayla returned Cedric's hug and chuckled softly. "Well look who is growing up? If you do make Prefect, just write to me if you need any advice or anything." Oh wow his next words almost had in her tears...almost. "Thanks Cedric, I appreciate that."

Varius was here because he liked coffee, no other reason, he just liked coffee. Oh and look there was Kayla! "KAYLAAAAA" Varius screamed across the little cafe running straight towards his old prefect. He reached up to rub her head, but instead his hand was attracted to her belly, so he began rub that instead. "Hm, I sense an aura of sorts... hmm." He left it at that. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE? HOW ARE YOU? I miss you, ya know. Thanks for the letter. What have you been up to? I see your hair is fine again. Are you here long?" Yes, Varius was the man with questions!

With the tea cup almost to her mouth, Kayla visibly jumped as someone screamed her name at the top of their lungs and she had just enough time to put her cup down before Varius reached her side. Of course she was waiting for the inevitable head rub but was shocked when he went for her belly instead. He was the only one to have noticed, kid must me a psychic.

Kayla's head began to spin from all the questions and she laughed as she pulled on Varius' hand and pulled him down into a vacant chair. "I am here visiting...well it was just supposed to be Jake but I seem to be running into half of Hogwarts and I am good Varius, really good." Gosh, her friends made her really happy right now. They all seemed to be missing her which made her feel both good and bad. "I miss you too Varius. I have been busy studying for my NEWTs...among other things" she gave him a wink, pretty sure he would get that. "Yes my hair is all better now and I'm here for a while I think" she said glancing at Cedric and her cousin. "But what about you? How have you been and what have you been up to?"

Varius noticed her shock when he had reached for her belly, but made no reaction towards it. "Well, well seeing JakeyWakey gets a date and not me! This is not on Mz Winters! I shall be expecting more invitations than anyone for any future visits, ya hear?"

"I hear NEWTs are hard. But see if you suck the juice out of a lime, hop on your left foot and caw like a crow it should make you more prepared... or maybe it's the right foot. No matter." He smiled kindly at her wink, but took it no further than that.

"Would you like me to buy you a juice or something or are you alright?" He raised his hand, indicating for a waitress and ordering a coffee for himself.

"I've not been up to much, but honestly Kayla! You should see what Hogwarts is like now. We've got a pimp for a DADA Professor, our new Nurse has had so much plastic surgery done that she looks like she's 20 instead of her ACTUAL 120 years of age. Oh! and she and Kazimeriz have a thing. I bit Professor Bunbury... some flooding is going on I suppose... I sorta fancied Myrtle (he muttered this bit so only Kayla could hear), but I got over that quickly. Transparent girls are even HARDER to understand, I swear... but yeh, not much as you can tell."

"Well, I am sorry to hear that," he responded to the news of how her meeting seemed to go with Jake. He indicated to the waitress that his coffee was all he would be ordering and she returned moments later with the cup, a little hotter than he would have preferred.

"Well you wouldn't gain much from owls, I would suspect," he commented, "Afterall, I would like to think Professor Lawson wouldn't be hitting on you too! That's just wrong on so many levels." He took a sip, sticking out his tongue and waving it about, trying to cool it down, "So hawttt," he said, trying to justify his peculiar behaviour.

"Well, I didn't know it was Bunbury at the time. I was being attacked by some stupid Ravenclaw idiot and I thought it was her and I wanted to get her OFF! But the hand I bit turned out to be Bunbury's. Just my luck eh? But yes, busy year," he chuckled. "And how are you coping with the 'personal' problems? Everything going well? I hope you aren't stressing out too much over your upcoming NEWTs."

Amanda headed into Madame Puddifoot's and removed her gloves, merlin it was cold outside but she loved the snow so winter wasn't that bad in her opinion. It was good to get out of the school finally since she had been super busy lately with homework and catching up with friends in the shared common room.

She walked over to a free table then sat down and fixed her robes, despite this was a Hogsmeade weekend and had the choice not to wear her school uniform, she did anyways.

*Gabben walked in wearing jeans and a dark blue jumpper with his favorite Puma trainers. He waved to a few people he knew and walked over to Amanda.*
"Seat taken?"
*He asked as he sat down.*

Kayla shrugged her shoulders about Jake, there wasn't much she could do about him...yet.

Taking another sip of her tea, she just about spat the contents of it over the table and Varius. "Surely the man is not hitting on the students Varius. I mean he wouldn't. Are we talking about the same Professor here? Because his letters were very polite and his concern over Jake seemed genuine enough."

She rubbed her belly unconsciously and smiled at Varius. "I wouldn't say that it was a personal problem Mr Tipps. I am very, very happy about my situation. And yes everything is going along smoothly." She rolled her eyes at him. "NEWTs are the least of my problems but I'm trying not to stress too much. How are your classes going? And what's with Hufflepuff coming last?"

"Of course not obviously" Amanda said then laughed a bit and rested her hands on the table. She was glad that Gabben actually showed up, it was a good thing she hadn't convinced herself that he wasn't going to show.

"So have you heard who's playing Quidditch next?" She asked curiously, she was just excited to see who Slytherin was going to be playing in the Consolation Match this term.
