Chris ran a hand through his hair. Was he doubtful? Ok yeah he was sometimes. "I don't know." He told Lena. " I don't think that little of myself." He said and thought about it for a minute. He then sighed slightly. "Alright I do a lot more then I thought I did. And I guess I need to work on stopping that." He told her and smiled. "Oh come on it's not that bad talking to the Slytherin-Bulgarian. You would be suprised of how many people live or have lived in Bulgaria that go here." He said her still showing her his smile. |
Helena smiled slightly, her eyes becoming a steady blue-gray. But then she looked at him and chuckled at his words of Bulgaria. But the transfer? Ugh, I wouldn't be seen within fifty feet of a transfer. And her smile became full once more. She didn't sigh, but said, You really don't think that badly of yourself, you just seem insecure is all - always thinking you did something wrong - it's no fun at all! But she was still smiling. |
Chris chuckled slightly. "Oh come on what's wrong with tranfers? They are sometimes funny when they have different accents. Your my friend and you are a transfer. And Emiliano he was a transfer last year and now his like my best guy friend." He told Lena. "Ok ok. I will try to stop doing that. I can guess that it's not fun." He told her smiling back. |
Helena smiled, not caring about the boundaries that she had mentally set before. Well, thanks for being my friend, then. And yeah, the accent is a pretty sweet part of it, right? She grinned at him, her eyes returning to their normal bright blue. Emiliano is pretty awesome, too, huh? She chuckled. |
"No problem." Chris said to Lena. "It is very cool. Mostly I love that I'm not one of the only once with a bulgairan accent anymore." He said and laughed. "For so long I would try to hid it but now I don't really care. It made it harder to speak. You'd have to think a lot more before you spoke, but I'm actaully use to it now." He told her and shrugged. He noticed her eyes change to bright blue. He smiled and guess this was better then gray. "Yeah Em is awsome." He said nodding. |
Well, I'm glad it makes you feel better. She smiled, remembering how happy she was two years earlier when she started picking up British slang along with her normal English vocabulary. She didn't have much else she wanted to say, but she didn't want to stop talking either. So what's new with you? Helena asked curiously, leaning back against the wall and smiling lightly. |
"Well it does and thank you." Chris said and smiled. Then he heard the next question. "Umm anything new. Nope not really. You know school and classes." He told Lena. "Although I'm glad that we've gotten points back up. Our head of house wasn't very happy with us then." He told her. "So are you guys back into your normally Common Room yet or what?" He asked Lena raising an eyebrow slightly. |
Helena laughed and nodded slightly before saying, Yes, it's finally back to normal. I haven't really talked to anyone to see if anybody found out exactly why it happened, though.... She trailed off in thought for a moment before coming back around and laughing again, her teeth sparkling in her smile. |
Chris watched as Lena smiled. Was it even possible for her teeth to sparkle? Cause they did, this just caused Chris to smile as well. "Well that's good. Yeah I knew I haven't heard anything about it. It's weird that water would suddenly just start pouring in like that." He said to her. |

"Nice to meet you, Katie," she said, also inclining her head at Jack. "Well, I have no idea which way to go, but I have to go someway! Maybe I'll see you around!" Turning to go down the left passage, Laura waved. "Bye," she called. |
Exactily! Katie knew moving staircases were no good, why couldn't they just stay simple and not move? Really, it would be more helpful and far less dangerous. Not to mention, less students would get lost. "Good luck," The small girl called after the retreating first year, and then looked back to Jack. "I should go too, it'll take ages to get back to the common room." She stated, waving a hand goodbye before making her way down the corridor in the opposite direction of Laura. Hopefully she could find her way back to the common room. |

Helena's smile remained but her eyebrows raised slightly. And who's to say we aren't simply.... ah.... random? Now that was a new word. Luckily, though, in the context of the situation, Helena had a pretty good idea of what it meant. |
Chris noticed that Lena didn't really know what random meant. "Awe do you not know what random means?" He asked teasing her. "We probably are. I mean we are just sitting here on the floor by a statue." He said and chuckled."But I like it." He told Lena and smiled wide. |
Helena stuck her tongue out at Chris and rolled her eyes, still grinning. Yeah, I like the randomness, too. It's kind of.... nice, you know? She shook her head slightly and leaned her head against the wall, not looking away from Chris. |
Kevin wandered to the statue that he had seen in passing and really hoped that he could make some new friends but he kept thinking about Victoria he had really found somebody that he thought he would never meet |

Helena, after a few moments of her Chris just looking at one another and smiling without stopping, finally looked away rather embarrassedly, but she did not blush as her thirteen year old self would have. Why do you have to look at me like that? she asked softly, though not sadly, looking anywhere but him and barely concealing a grin. It was a very conversational tone, but there was a hint of what might have been longing mixed in. |
Chris's smile faded slightly. Oh man she didn't noticed him staring at her like that did she??? Alright he was going to play it like he was just looking back at her no big deal right? "I don't know. I now can't look at you?" He asked of course still looking at her with a sly smile. Why was he doing this anyways? He was just digging himself into a bigger hole. Gahhh! Mel would freak out if she knew and he knew she would write him soon. Or he would probably see her around Christmas... |
A small smile reappeared on Helena's face, but she couldn't bring herself to voice her thoughts at the moment. She suddenly remembered where she had been going when she stopped up here and jumped up immediately. I'm really sorry, Chris, but I'm going to be late for Arithmancy. She headed off down the corridor as fast as she could without running, shouting over her shoulder, See you at dinner! and feeling terrible for having to run out on him. |
"Umm no it's alright." Chris told her and nodded. Sigh did she have to go. Umm Yeah! She had to get to class Chris duh! "Yeah see you later." He called back. Kind of doubting he would probably even go to dinner he should get his homework done. But maybe he would show up for a little bit, just to see Lena...and eat of course. He then got up and looked around slightly. No reason to stay here anymore. He then walked back up the corridor heading for his common room. |
CLICK CLICK CLICK. Reeeeally bad day. Gossip papers. Detentions. Caroline clicked down the halls in the worst possible of all moods. She hated to be gossiped about. Had hated it as a child hated it as an adult. Hated Marcus Lawson for telling lies to Anastasia Bunbury about her. She particularly hated the existence of that stupid Aparecium Parchement floating about. It was dangerous. It didn't bode well. An open forum for people to gossip in? OH NO NO NO.... CLICK CLICK CLICK. |
Varius was on the seventh floor on a mission. He was searching every nook and cranny to see how many butterflies existed up on the seventh floor. Yep, that is what he was here for. So far he had counted... one, and even then it didn't really count because he found it on his way UP to the seventh floor. No matter, he could count it if he wanted to, he was the RULE MASTA. But, then he noticed that staff lady who was in the kitchens who could have potentially thrown up when she heard about the dungeons. Maybe that was why she was so high up in the castle and looking stressed... and tapping those dang heels! Talk about NOISE pollution. "Erm... Miss.. Avalon, is it? You don't need to worry about the floods... i'm sure they will have it sorted soon... I mean it's started rising into the Hufflepuff common room, but ya know... it'll all be fine i'm sure," he reached out and began rubbing the young woman's head, "There, there." |
