Clark sighed. Jake still wouldn't eat? Oh well. "Jake, you really have to eat." If he continued this..."You asked for this Jake." Clark opened the pink-haired boy's mouth and shoved half of the roll in. "Eat. Now." If. Jake. Choked. ...... He could have his bear back. (Cue evil smile) |
"Don't. Lie. Eat." Dani was not going to give in. Clark gave her a hug so she hugged him back and then she looked at him funny. DaniKinz? What was that? She turned back to Jake. "Please eat." She pouted at him. He needed food. And she was so not helping clean up if he started getting sick again. "Clark can you pour me a glass of that?" Now that she thought of it, she was kind of thirsty. Then he was shoving food in Jakes mouth. "Clark! If you make him gag and he pukes I am not helping you clean up this time!" She handed Jake a napkin so he could spit the food out if he wanted. That had been a huge piece. |
O.O What the-? Gag. Giving Clark a wide-eyed look, Jake kind of leaned back a bit. These people were insane. Totally insane. Yup. He took the napkin from Dani and spat that food out before setting that down. Ew. "I don't want to eat," Jake insisted, biting his lip. What could they do? Force him? Get someone on him? |
3,900 post-100 more left. :)))))) Clark looked at Dani and sighed. "What're we gonna do?" he asked here. Force feeding him didn't work.... "Jake. Buddy. If you do not eat, you'll start puking again. And Vindy will know you didn't eat. And then you'll get a detention cos you disobeyed him." Yesh. Threaten him with detention-that always worked. And if it didn't-that woud contradict the rule. Go back to the sentence before last. ALWAYS. |
Dani had the urge to hit Clark again. "Clark, can you please stop threatening Jake and pour me some pumpkin juice?" Jake was being stubborn, well two could play at that game. "Fine Jake, if you don't want to eat then don't. I'll just go have a talk with Healer Avalon and Professor Vindictus. I'm sure they'd love to hear about this and they happen to be sitting awfully close up there." She gestured to the Staff Table. She didn't like threatening him, but she was really really worried. Jake. Would. Eat. Now. |
Nancy slowly strolled into the Great Hall, completely at a loss of ideas as to what to do now she had decided to go eat something. Food was something that always helped her think. So, where was fooood?? As always Nancy immediately made her way over to her house table which, this time, she did not reach, though. This was due to the fact that her blue eyes did not spot the apple pies at first so they started darting around hectically in search for them and in the process of doing that fell on a rather, well, colorful group of students, one of whom she recognized as Jake. Not being particularly in the mood of random conversation with anybody - not until she'd found those apple pies that is - Nancy continued to look for what she longed for most at the moment, biting her lip in desperation, until... "What?!" Nancy jerked around upon hearing Jake's last statement. I don't want to eat?! With a few quick strides the 14 year old walked over to where he was sitting with two Ravenclaw students - his friends? - and simply looked at him wide-eyed. "Jeez, Jake. You okay?! How come you don't want to eat?! How about- Apple Pies!!!" She exclaimed a huge grin flashing across her face as she spotted a whole plate of apple pies on the Hufflepuff Table. Finally! Happily taking a bite of her apple pie Nancy once again pulled her attention back to Jake and his two friends and what they were talking about. "I don't know...maybe one should just grab his arms so that he can't move anymore and then we put some food and pour some water into his mouth and pull his head back slightly. He has to swallow at some point." She simply included herself into the conversation, giving Jake an innocent smile. "No, seriously now, why don't you want to eat?!" Was he crazy? Uhm...cough. |
"I'm not hungry," Jake snapped at Clark, scowling down at the table. Jeez, all he had to do was remember what happened on the seventh floor, and he'd upchuck it again. No. Food stayed out. "Won't get detention for not eating," he added, a disbelieving look on his face. Unless... well, unless the staff here really WERE evil. And he knew they were. "I don't care who you tell," Jake mumbled, burying his face into the bad-smelling bear's fur again. By this point, he'd usually have stormed off, gotten violent, or shouted very loudly. Something. Was. Up. .......... And. He. Wasn't. Going. To. Eat. |
Dani leaned her head on Jakes shoulder. "Fine. If you aren't going to eat, I'm gonna take a nap." She wasn't in the mood to argue anymore. How strange. "Clark, just be nice to him." She smiled at the new girl without moving. "Hi, I'm Dani." She really was rather tired. And Jake was a rather good pillow. Now that she was close to it she realized that the teddy bear smelled like.. dog? |
Well, if Jake wished to not eat anything then he should do so. It wasn't her problem anyway. And by the looks of it the other two had given up on their attempts of persuading him to eat something as well. At least the little girl had. The boy was just...oh, never mind. Nancy leaned over the little girl slightly as she reached out to take another one of those delicious apple pies...and almost dropped it again as soon as it was in her hand. Aw! How cute. Had Jake gotten himself a girlfriend? With a huuuge grin the 14 year old turned to the little girl who had just introduced herself as Dani and replied, "Hey. Nice to meet you. I'm Nancy." And because she was an immensely curious person she added with a smirk and a pointed look at Dani and Jake, "So, uhm, congratulations I guess." |
Dani's head was on Jake's shoulder. Most people would find that awkward, but not Jake. He just reacted as and when he thought of it and rested his own head gently on top of Dani's. He was soooooooo tired. And... did he have a fever? Bleh. At least they'd given up on making him eeeeeeeat. Jake - 1 Rest of the world - 8726547380458734 "Congratulations?" Jake repeated, obviously puzzled, though not feeling quite up to giving the full exclamative tone of voice and blahhh blaaaahhhhh blahhhhhhh. |
Dani was half asleep with her eyes shut. And Jakes head was resting on hers. It was actually more comfortable. It was warm. "Congratulations?" She asked, not even opening her eyes. She was confortable. And tired. And half asleep. And Jake wasn't puking. The world was a beautiful place. |
Clark laughed. Finally, SOMEONE else had realized what he had been trying to tell them for a long while. "Congrats on going out, dudes." He shrugged and leaned back with his hands behind his head. And what was with Dani giving him the cold shoulder? And Jake not eating? And this fourth year girl? This must be a conspiracy. Something. Was. Up. |
Awwww! Nancy cocked her head slightly to the side as now Jake even rested his head on the top of Dani's and smiled at the two while taking another bite of her apple pie. Very cute. Nancy found her picture of a perfect young couple utterly destroyed as both Jake and Dani apperently did not understand the reason why she had just congratulated them. The corner of her lips went downwards slightly as she replied while tugging a strand of dark-blonde hair behind her ear, "Well, I mean you two are-" Nancy never got to finish that sentence though as that other boy somehow got there before her and stated what she had meant. "Exactly. Are you not?" |
...? "What does... that mean?" Jake muttered, looking confused. Going out? But they were sitting right there. Inside. Even those two weren't caught out by the trick sky-ceiling... right? They were INSIDE. Duh. Well, feeling as though it was best to humour them, Jake shrugged the shoulder that Dani wasn't leaning on, closing his own eyes. "Sure," he agreed, feeling in no mood to argue at the moment. |
Dani opened her eyes and looked at the girl. What?! But then Jake said sure.. So she just closed her eyes again. Whatever. She wanted to sleep. "Mhmm.." She was so not even coherent anymore. A small part of her brain wondered what she was agreeing to, but it was ignored. She sort of snuggled into Jakes shoulder and actually fell completely asleep. She. Was. Sleepy. |
"WHAT?" Clark cackled. "You two are dating?" he nodded. He knew it! He was a genius. He was so smartical. He wasn't a Ravenclaw for nothing. Mhmhm. Mmhmm. Uh huh. Yup. Sure. He looked at Dani. "Wow, Dani! A first year and already you have a boyfriend whose older. That's impressive." And I'm gonna break you up. Clark thought. |
Oh my... Talking to Jake could be quite difficult at times with him not sensing obvious sarcasm and...him not understanding the simplest things! How could somebody not know what going out meant, well like both meanings of going out of course. Well, apparently somebody could if that somebody's name was Jake Upstead. Whatever... Hah! They'd both agreed to her and the other boy's assumption, though, well if you counted that sound which had come out of Dani's mouth as a Yes that is. Which Nancy did. Awww! That was just so cute. "They apparently are." She stated with a small giggle before softly nudging the boy next to her - whoever he was - and adding, "They're a cute couple, aren't they?" It was a good thing that Nancy was not able to do that mindreading-thingy... |
Oh man, Jake wasn't feeling too good. Not too good at all. Blehhhhh... so much food and stuff around. He needed to go and lay under his bed. Oh. Hang on. The flood. [/sarcasm] "Dani," Jake murmured, glancing down at the girl who had fallen asleep. "Wake up, mate... I think it's time you went up and got some sleep." ... Yes... yes, that statement looks strange to me as well. "I need to go and lay down outside or something," he added pointedly, gently pulling Dani off of him to see if she decided to wake up. Clark and Nancy were looking at them all odd, like. Something. Was. Up. |

"Of course. We must book some sessions." Vanessa smirked at him before smiling. "I could tutor you....then we can get some more points." Quote:
"Are you okay Dom?" She asked, sighing heavily. Everyone else seemed to be okay. "Where are all the teachers? Surely someone should be down by now." |
Dani opened her eyes and looked at Jake sleepily. "Ohh. Ok.." She mumbled, still waking up. "Are you sure you don't want to eat anything?" She was awake enough now to remember that he hadn't eaten anything. She yawned and stretched. Then she noticed that Nancy and Clark were looking at them weird. And Clark was making strange comments. She. Was. Confused. |

He turned away from her and focused on her cousin instead. Still smiling at him, he asked, "so what's your name?" Maybe he would talk to him if he was nice. Quote:
"Now, I like the sounds of that! When can we start?" hehehe. |
"Jake. Seriously, buddy. eat SOMETHING!" Clark exclaimed dramatically. "Dani, tell your boyfriend to eat." he asked of the mini girl. Clark smiled so she would know he wasn't being rude or mean or both. (Wait, weren't those synonyms?) He buttered a new roll for Jake. "Or we will have to tell Nurse Avalon." |
"No, I'm not hungry, I don't need to eat anything," Jake muttered, picking up the bear as he swung his legs back over the bench. "You can tell her if you want, she won't do nothing..." Now... he wanted to go to the Bamboo forest... have a lay down. "Erm... I'm going to go now," he muttered, pushing himself up onto his feet. "I'll see y'all later?" |
Dani smiled at Jake. "Ok. I'll see you later." She turned back to Clark and Nancy. "Soo..." She didn't really know what to say, so she picked up the rest of the roll and started to eat it. It was tasty. "Clark, you still never got me any pumkin juice." Boys. She'd find a way to make Jake eat later. She grabbed the pitcher and poured herself a glass and then took a drink. |
Nancy giggled slightly at the look on both Jake and Dani's face as the slowly suspected her and the other boy of knowing something they apparently were not too sure about. Teehee... Her face fell slightly as she looked at Jake a little more closely as he declared that he would go now still without having eaten as much as a bread crumb. "I agree, Jake. You really should eat some-" That was the moment the Hufflepuff boy had already gotten up, ready to leave though so she just settled with, "I guess so. Yeah, see ya." Nancy then turned back to Dani and the other boy with a rather concerned look on her face as glanced at Jake one last time. "You sure he's going to be okay? What's up with that not eating anything stuff anyway?" She asked the other two quietly her worry now mixed with a bare hint of confusion. |
