Cy smirked as Vannie agreed with him. He was always right, never wrong. It was just how things were in a day in the life of the Andrus child. Looking up as the older Hufflepuff and fellow teammate approached, Cy threw him a head nod. "G'day Dom." Cy gave him his signature salute and looked back to Vannie with a wry grin as she answered his question. "Ahh, that's bloody awesome. Professor Morgan, she's a good one." The first year gave a resolute nod. healing... that was bound to be a tough profession. "I'm gonna be the Minista' of Magic one day." His expression was dead serious, and a mischievous grin played on his lips. |
"She's my favourite teacher." Vanessa giggled, with a smile. She still had to go and give Professor Morgan those flowers if she would ever remember. "Minister of magic? Looking high aren't we?" She smiled, remembering when Miles was going on about that. "You'd make a very good minister of magic Cy." She added truthfully, but the wizarding world would be very crazy. "Oh. I've been interested in healing for a while." Vanessa nodded, and it really didn't help that those who she looked up to, mainly one Amelia Rose and Professor Morgan both had spent time as a healer. "I just find it fascinating really." |
Dominic chewed lightly on his lower lip in wry amusement at Cyrus' smirking. Really, that child was more trouble than a poltergeist. Shrugging it off, he smiled naturally at the young boy's return greeting and salute before hearing the kid's own take on his future. "Minister?" Dom raised a brow, sitting up straighter. Really, the kid had an imagination, he had to give him that much. "Well. That's not a bad thought actually..." He did think just moments ago that with his OWL results, he had options, of which definitely included Minister on that list. But then his fellow prefect broke his train of thought over imagining a career in Magical Law and thereby, Minister. "Ah. That's cool. So uh ... do you just dive right into Healer school or do you have a bit of a break to enjoy the summer?" |
Cy nodded with a smug grin, "And that's only where I'll start. From Minister of Magic, he'd slowly made his way to world ruler. Or so he thought. "Too right I would! I'm gonna be a tall poppy. You'll see." He simply crossed his arms and nodded. That ego was beginning to take off. Hide yourself. His brown eyes then flickered back to Dominic. So he wasn't a doubter either. That was good. "No mate, it's genius. Right outta' Hogwarts too. I'll be the youngest Minista' to date." So what if he failed almost all of his classes, he'd make it work. |
"Of course Cy. Of Course." Vanessa grinned, she found it amusing how all the boys she knew seemed to want to be minister, Miles included. "I will be waiting to see you as minister in a few years." She smiled at him. It would be amusing if he did get to be minister though. "Well Dom I need to wait for my NEWT results." Vanessa nodded, frowning a little. She was a little worried about that actualy. "But then...if all goes well I should be starting in the fall." She nodded, smiling again. And she was really looking forward too it. Teehee. |
Ella wandered into the common room and sat down on an empty couch, looking around for anybody she might know, or anybody she could possibly be friends with. |
Oops! *blushes* Let's move to the feast, shall we? ;) Dominic blinked, slightly horrified at this boy. It was like he was viewing a younger version of himself, only with an Australian accent and he was sure he wasn't THAT smug. (which was a total lie, but ssh!) But really, between Cyrus' emerging ego and Dominic's, it was a wonder they could fit in the same common room. Besides, world domination was his next move. "Um... Well good luck?" Really, he did wish him luck. Even if world domination was on Dominic Denton's to do list, he wasn't so sure about the whole Minister thing right out of Hogwarts. Yup. It was official then; Cyrus Andrus was an idiot. "Well I am sure you will do fine, Vanessa," Dominic encouraged, grateful to move the conversation from the first year to his co-prefect. She would, right? Shackleton wouldn't have appointed her Prefect if she wasn't a good student too. "Mmm... anyway, rumor has it that the end of term feast will be starting shortly. Or maybe it already started." Dom mused. "Though we didn't take the House Cup this term, we still got the Quidditch Cup to celebrate about. You all up for a visit to the Great Hall?" Which thankfully was now only one floor away since they got their common room back. |

Then he walked towards them, "Err... Vannie.. you're a seventh year.. and you are leaving..." Cedric said sadly as he stated a matter-of-factly. And a few days till the end of term feast and he'll never saw Vannie again unless on hogsmeade visits and in diagon alley. |

Lyra finished packing her things and walked into the common room. This was it. She was almost finished. Now, she was sad. If only her Christian was here to help see her off, but he wasn't. She wanted to go out with a bang but Agie had been so busy this year that...well...she hadn't spent any time with her. NOW it was time to remember the last time she would walk the halls of Hogwarts and with that, she headed out into the hallway towards the Great Hall. |
