Simone smiled. She loved it when she rubbed her furry little head against her cheek. Though she was concerned when she closed her eyes. Something was bothering her. "Whats wrong?" She stroked the kitty gently behind the ears.


UHOH! SImone calmly smiled at the...prefect. Gulping quietly. "Um actually no its not my cat. But shes very friendly." Simone continued to rubb the cat behind the ears. If only they knew.... "Is that your cat? I love ginger cats. They are so pretty." Simone smiled. Oh she was playing this off well.

"Oooh...not yours?" Vanessa looked a little worried, as she glanced at the kitty, then at the girl. Had someone lost a cat? "Yush...My silly little patches." She giggled, bending down, and scooping the kitten into her arms.
"Oh...and I'm Vanessa by the way." She nodded with a smile, as she sat down on the same couch she girl was on.

The kitty kept its eyes closed for a long time. Nothing was wrong per se... But she couldn't deny being a little worried. Maybe later she'd talk to Simone about keeping an eye on Jake for her.

Her ears perked up a bit as she listened to Simone stumble all over her words. Nice save there, Princess. She thought, looking up at her. She cocked her head towards Vanessa when she sat down and swished her tail, just once before returning her attention to the Common Room door.

Sarah entered the Hufflepuff Common Room completely exhausted,having just finished a Quidditch tryout.At least she was now managing to stay on the broom,even if she did fly away from the bludger at one point instead of hitting it.Ah well you can't have everything.
Glancing around she saw a couple of people with their cats.So sweet they looked,but Sarah couldn't have a cat...didn't really want one.She was content to have her dog at home and Screech the owl for school.Talking of which she really had to go see him and send a letter home,letting them know she was ok.
Sighing loudly she made her way over to one of the plush sofas and flaked out on it.One leg and arm hanging over the side.She wanted nothing more than to fall asleep,but she had homework to do and would need to shift from her prone position to fetch her parchment and quills....but that could wait for now.Now I rest.

Simone smiled, "No not mine, but she is a very sweet cat." She smiled at the other girl before glancing over at the kitten. "Patches. I like that." She grinned.

"Simone Morgan. Nice to meet you." She said, placing her parchment on the arm of the cough, along with her quill. She would have to finish that later. "I see that your on of the huffie prefects. I havent met the other. Is he nice?" Hopefully changing the subject would work....




Oh she better not leave her just yet. Simone tightened her grip on the kitty. She cradled the kitty in her arms, gently rubbing her tummy. She wasn't done with her yet....

As Patches squirmed around on her lap, Vanessa smiled whilst looking at the cat in Simone's lap. The Cat was very beautiful. Not being able to help herself, Vannie leant forward, rubbing the cat's ears gently. Cute little thing. She did wonder though, if the cat wasn't Simones...then whoses was it?

"Very beautiful too." Vanessa nodded, as she leant back, so that Simone could stroke the cat like she had been before. "I like it too..." Vanessa giggled, stroking her kitten. "Patches...is very curious too." She commented, as she glanced down to see Patches trying to creep towards the otheer cat. Patches would probably scare it!

"It's nice to meet you." Vanessa nodded with a smile. Thinking about her name. "Morgan..." She commented, knowing she'd heard that before. "Theres a lot of people with that last name here." She nodded, namely her favourite teacher.
"Dom? He's...we...he's alright." Touchy subject.

Simone smiled down at the cut little kitten that was trying to pounce or sniff on the Ilikitty in her lap. That would be very entertaining. Though I'm sure Tia Gatita would be ok if it did happen. "I love it when they are curious, they do very funny and interesting things." She smirked.


"It's nice to meet you as well." She smiled, but when the girl repeated her last name, her heart faltered. "Yes, so I've been told." She smiled a bit nervously, but then wondered what was the matter with the male prefect. "You seem a bit hesitant to talk about him. Is...everything alright?" She asked, hoping to make a new friend. Simone was very good at listening to people, and giving advice.




Tia gatita was definatly enjoying the attention, though her mood quickly changed. Something was definately wrong. She looked down at the tabby, confusion, and concern in her eyes. Almost as if she was saying 'Whats wrong?'

She noticed that ilikitty kept glancing at the door. She picked up the cat, "I think it wants out."

She walked over to the door of the common room, holding on to her, she whispered so that no one else could hear, "I'll come to the hut as soon as possible." She kissed the tabby on the nose, pushed the door open, and placed her ourside of it. She waved and quickly went back to sit down on the couch.

Vanessa giggled when Cat raised it's head towards her as she scratched her ears. Oh she obviously enjoyed the attention that they were giving her. Typical Cat.
She noticed that suddenly the kitty didn't seem so happy anymore. Oh. What had happened? She hoped that the kitty was okay.

Vanessa had to keep a firm grip on Patches to make sure that she didn't try to pounce on the other kitty. That wasn't nice, and she didn't want the other kitty to be upset or anything. "Probably more than we do." She giggled, with a smile, she loved her kitty, well really she loved all types of animals. "So...have you got a cat of you're own?"

"My...favourite teacher has that last name." She nodded with a smile. Oh how she adored Professor Morgan. She reminded herself that she still needed to go and see her actually.
"Aww." She smiled, as she watched Simone go and take the kitty back out of the common room. She hoped that she'd see that Kitty again, It'd been very cute.
"It's...complicated." Vanessa sighed, letting her Kitten jump off her lap, as she rested her head in her hands. "We get along...kind of...."

Christine walked into the common room, tired from a long day of classes. She didn't know how she was going to make it through this term. With O.W.L.S on there way, Christine thought she might have a mental breakdown before the term was over. She tossed her bag down on the floor as she sat down in an arm chair. A loud yawn came from her mouth as she stretched her arms above her head.

Simeon smiled. She actually did have a cat, that she had to share with her little sister, so the pretty baby had to stay home. "Yes, I do. Her name is Poco. But I cant bring her with my, because my little sister would freak if i got to take my owl and our cat. She's...a special one." She grinned at the thought. It was weird how she missed her sister so much. This was the first time it had ever happened.

MEHHHHH! Need to avoid that conversation! "Oh, yes...Professor Morgan. Shes an amazing teacher. I loved our class on the nifflers." Simone smiled brightly. Dirt! YAY! Her first real girl talk with someone other then....well....anyways. "Oh that was convincing. I think you need to talk...so spill." Simone grinned, pulling her legs up to her chest and hugging them with her arms.

"Aww....my sisters don't like my kitten." Vanessa giggled, the twins got annoyed my Patches curious nature. At least they knew she'd be gone out of the house soon. "Well...you can see you're kitty at christmas can't you? if you're going home." Vanessa nodded with a smile. She didn't know if she was going home yet, she'd have to decide.
"How old's you're sister?" She asked, it would be nice if they were the same age.

"Very amazing. She got me into this healer course...as long as I get the right grades." She smiled, she'd loved Professor Morgan for that, and then she remembered that she needed to go and see Professor Morgan actually.
"Need to talk? I have my boyfriend for that." She giggled with a smile, before sighing. "We fell out last year...me and Dom that it is....We are getting along. kind of."

Tiffany was bored. Super bored. Stuffing her book in her bag, she started making her way to the female dormitory. But before she got there, she bumped into a probably-first-year boy. Damn. Why didn't she ever look where she was going? "Umm... I... Sorry" she muttered, bending down to collect her books and quills which had scattered across the floor. Deciding that this was a chance to get to know some other Huffies, Tiffany smiled up at the boy. "I'm Tiffany, by the way" she explained, staring at her feet. "So, are you a first year too?" She hoped she didn't sound as stupid as she thought she did.

This is AWESOME!
 

Hayleen entered the Common Room from the dormitory. She just finished arranging her stuff, they seem to come out of nowhere.

She then spotted a girl picking up her stuff, she rushed to help her out. "Hi, am Hayleen. Are you okay?"

Juliet walked into the common room tired from Tryouts. She could neber get anything. She was so fustrated. She dropped her broom and sat on a chair.

Zoe, Tabee, and anyone else... I'm leaving, cause it'd get confusing with timing <3
 

Dominic wasn't really sure what was going on between Jacob and that younger girl, but any idiot could see that there were some tensions between the two. If it wasn't enough, the second year boy seemed to be whining. A sound that the Prefect did not tolerate well; not even from twelve year olds.

And the speak of that little blond girl.... honestly, it was like she and Jake had been long-time enemies and were taking it out in the common room. Shaking his head, incredibly frustrated, the sixth year decided right then that he would make a leave. Even though he had promised Jacob they would talk, Dominic knew that if it happened now, then it wouldn't end well. So it would have to wait for later...

So brushing past Christine, whom Dom momentarily had forgotten that he met like two years ago, as she took a seat on the couch. Giving her a brief smile of acknowledgment, the fifteen year old then continued on his way to exiting the common room. Because right now, he just needed some pain reliever and a long snooze. Something he doubted he would get from the common room or at the very least until WINTER vacation.

Without another real thought in mind, Dominic left the common room, with no destination or plan as to where he was heading... except for the need for fresh air. And maybe a polite conversation, but that wasn't top on his list.


OOC: imaginarynumb3rs is right... we'll just pretend as though they went to the kitchens / hospital wing, cause it'll get confusing otherwise. ;D Especially with Zoe in detention now xD

Tammy was uberly bored. So far she had communicated with like no-one and she wasnt enjoying her supposed maturing year. If she was meant to grow up this year she needed to be around people. Not just silly little people.

Gah, she was in a foul mood. Slumping onto the sofa she groaned and pulled her tights up so there were no dimply knees. Gross. This day just wasnt turning out as she planned. She would have hoped for a peaceful day but the rain and the cold wind wasnt giving her anythign to work with.

Absolutely nothing.

Some maturing year, not even many people were always around, they were off doing other things when she was expected to revise and do her homework. Not really exciting. Then she couldnt even do some lessons because of the stupid thing wrong with her.

So yeah, Tammy was in no means fit to talk to anyone, but they didnt know that...

"TAMMY!!!"
This was Eva almost histerical yet girly scream when she finally found her bestfriend. Although the school year had started a while ago Eva still hadn' seen her bestfriend. So, after the hugel long vacations with her Slytherin twin sister and her mother, E was actually very happy to be back and to be aound people of her own house.
She had to admit she was a bit afraid o face this new school ear, especially with Sebastian no longer there. The Milan boy and his Glass cousins were no longer at Hogwarts. If at least Alyss was still here..., this though surprised the young Heffluepuff, since she had though Alyss Glass scary at first... then she had grown to really like Sebastian's cousin. She thought of Alyss as a friend.

"How are you?!" in seconds she tried to vanish the sad thoughts that came to her head. "What's wrong?!" she asked immediately as she saw Tamzin's look. She knew this girl since their 3rd year; she knew her friend wasn't okay.

woah, now that wasnt a call the sixth year had heard in a while. lifting her scowling face up she smiled just an incy bit. her best friend in the entire world was with her and she could let all her troubles out.
"Where've you been these past couple of weeks missy?" Tammy looked up at her best friend, who had been no where near whn Tammy needed her the most.

Obviously Eva had noticed Tammys foul mood. BUt not yet her tear stained face. Not that she was going to show it. "Oh nothing.." She tired to sound convincing but as always the typical blonde got the better of her. She knew that E knew she was lying. "I needed you E. And you wernt there." She whispered as the tears escaped her tigtened eyes.

Simone grinned. Vanessa seemed like a great girl, and as far as she could tell an amazing prefect. "Oh yes, Cecilia wouldnt have it any other way. And yes, I am going home for christmas. I havent for the last 3 years, and i have missed out on the annual family sky trip. I'm definatly going this year." She gave one stern nod. Her bratty sister..."Cecilia is 7 years old, and the biggest brat you'll ever meet." Simone grinned.

That was so like Professor Morgan. "Wow, thats amazing! I'm sure you have great grades, seeing as your prefect and all." She smiled, hoping to have a new friend in Vanessa soon. Giggling she replied, "Well i hope things get better between the two of you. I havent met him yet." She smiled, before continuing with, "OH and if you ever have a need to talk to someone else other then your boyfriend, I am a very good listener." She gave a gentle smile.

Oops. In the mood her friend was in, Eva didn't feel like xplaining she had been trying to change... trying to not miss Sebastian that much. Now it was about Tammy, not about her. It was something she should keep in mind.
"I've been here and there..." she said vaguely, paying more attention to what Tamzin was about to say.

Oh... Crap?
It's still the beginning of the year and the drama already started... It was the first thought that crossed her mind.
"I'm here now." she said softly. She hugged her friend when she started crying. "hey... Ssh... it's not worth crying." she paused. "I'm here now. You can tell me what's going on."
This was how she tried to comfort Tammy and know what had really happened during the time they had been appart.

Sarah smiled as she skipped into the common room. it had been an interesting start to the year, she wondered if the staff had sorted out the leak yet. She looked around the room to see if anyone was in the room but couldn't see anyone but couldn't so she just sat in a chair and waited for someone to come into the common room and talk to her. She wondered where her cousin or her sister was.

Jim walked into the common room and saw a girl who seemed to be sitting by herself. He walked up to her and said "hi,I'm Jim."

She looked at her and leant her head into her best friends shoulder and eased up with the flow of tears but still kept sniffling. as you do.

"Well last year I found my cousin Natasha right? Shes in second year slytherin now. BUt thats not the point. Im living with her now. You know my mum was pregnant." A nod asasured Tammy she wasnt talking gobblydeegoop and she continued.

"Well we went away to Greece for a holiday when Cerrah, my sister, was born. And there was a fire." Here comes the water works. She looked at her friend to see if she needed any more hoaxing to the point. Looks like she did.

"And it killed them. E, it killed them. Im never ever going to see my baby sister grow up." She whimpered as she wiped her tears quickly and looked at her. "I tried writing and I rang at the doorbell a couple of times but I assumed you were out. And then I found out Jack's gone. Hes not even coming back..."

"Oh my God!" she couldn't have been more surprised. No wonder Tammy wasn't okay. She kep hugging her because she knew what Tamzin was going through. She could have not lost a sister, but she had lost a father.
So, Eva did exactly what Sebastian had done for her four years ago.
"Ssh..." she comforted her friend but she didn't tried to dry her tears. Sometimes it was good to cry. This was one of those occasions.
She didn't mentioned she had been way with her godmother to stay away from her twin sister when the girl standing there was now an only child. It didn't seem right.
She wanted to say everything was going to be fine, but... c'mon. She had listened to all those things when Jason had passed away. Not a single one was true. Eventually the pain wouldn't be so much. But that kind of piece would only come many years later.

"You're here now." she didn't think of anything better to say. "You don't have to worry about the outside world just now." she paused. "It's okay to cry. It's okay to miss them, you know?"

There was another thing she wanted to say:
"There's not a reason for... theese things... to happen. They just do." she paused. It was still hard to talk about it. "You can't blame anyone, because there's not anyone to blame. And you won't feel good about it either..." she advised. Just in case. She knew what was on Tammy's mind.
