"Stoppppppittttttt," Bunbury growled, her face slowly becoming redder as more and more plants disappeared. She was basically on a little Lily Island, now, dueling with...a gardener.

Just another day at Hogwarts, folks, move along, move along.

"Come on now, am I going to have to go chop down your Bamboo forest? Or shall I accidentally water the giant kiddie sandbox you set up?" This was unprofessional at best but they were done professionally anyways, if they had ever worked together. "You're interrupting my class, Masterson, and I can't have that." Anastasia spoke calmly and planted her hands on her hips so her wand was visible. If one didn't look closely they wouldn't even see it tracing small, invisible circles as she cast tarantellegra on his toes.

He'd be lily pad tap-dancing like a frog in no time. And as for the spray of pond scum now decorating her head? "PFFFFT," Bunbury sputtered, flinching slightly as it got her hair and side of her face wet. "A little water never hurt anyone."

Fyohh? It must be that Shum-Shum girl again. And she was.. Well, crazy. CrazyGoodWarm sorta, you know? He nodded, straining his ears to make sure he caught her instructions absolutely clearly.

- As if he needed to do that. Strain his ears, I mean. Because she was practically shouting half the things.

Left. Close. He felt out with his foot and.. bingo! There it was, the lily pad he was looking for. He stepped on to it with ease, the pad being so close and all, only to catch Professor Bunbury shouting at what seemed like the Groundskeeper. Were they having a duel? Fyo's already wide eyes widened behind the blindfold and, for a moment, he almost forgot the direction he was, next, supposed to take.

The wobbling lily pad reminded him of it pretty much immediately, though. Shaking off the bits and pieces of LOUDDD conversation seemingly hitting and bouncing off his messy-haired HEAD, Fyo jumped on to the lily pad in front of him, bending his knees as he landed with a splash, a splash whose force threw him forward, and off the centre of the lily pad.

He landed in what was, surprisingly, not a messy way, and his feet sank into.. Something soil-ish. Waiiit.... Ground! Ohmygosh, gosh, GOSHH, GROUNDD! He'd crossed the water. Whoa, YAY!

Herminny was glad to find out she could finally remove her blind fold and did so and coulfd finally see again. She looked around and noticed whatever tension was going on had ended though new tention seemed to just be beginning the way Bunbury was talking to the grounskeeper and a few of the lily pads near her disapearing. She thought the groundskeeper must not realize the students were in competition to get to other side and he was not just affecting Bunbury he was affecting the whole competition. Sh looked to see if this would effect anyof her housemates and was happy to see they were just about there and far away from the professor so they all still had lily pads before them and before she knew it one of her housemates made it across and she went over to him and said, "Congrats Fyo, you made it", and held out a hand to help him up.

"A little water?" Constantine smirked and then, without a second thought, he dived into her little pond. He was going to knock her off her blasted pedestal.

But...swimming was becoming difficult. His legs were starting to jerk around in different directions without control. BUNBURY! He had to admit, she was goooood. And he was going to admit that. AFTER he knocked her off her pedestal. Hmmm...

The voice seemed like Herminny's. Fyo couldn't see her, of course, what with the blindfold still around his eyes, but he knew those tones, by now.

"Thanks," he said, grinning out of something like relief as Professor Bunbury continued to duel it out with the Groundskeeper. "Wish I could take off this blindfold, though." Yup, that would make things easier. A LOTT easier.

EEEEEEEeeeeeeeeee! Plymouth had moved so that his toes were just in the water - in case she hadn't made it he could reach out and grab her. BUT - she jumped sure and steady and even knocked Plymouth back a little bit. He quickly wrapped his arms around her before he fell to his butt. OOMPF.

"You did SO GOOD, CellBell! TEN THOUSAND Plymouth points to Cela!" He was still pretty wet from his underwater observing, but it didn't stop him from nuzzling her nose with his. "You were the best lily jumper, blind folded or not. Really."

She had jumped just in the nick of time and barely made it to the edge of another lily. The redhead planted her feet firmly and regained her balance in the middle of the lily. One would almost think she had done this before.

Annie quickly flicked her wand at the man's little lily boat and a dozen holes sprang up on the underside of the leaf. A fast-acting root-rotting curse...yes...that would do. And she would use magic on her own plants if it meant bringing down Masterson.

..... And then Bunbury started acting VIOLENTLY towards... the ... lililes! It was like finding out Santa wasn't real (but he totally is...) or your mom confessing she hated you! IT WAS SO WRONG. It was earth moving. Plymouth thought that Bunbury loved - LOVED - the plants as much as he did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He simply stared as his HERO fell - and not in the water kind of fell.

"Cameron Karsten!" Karma yelled from her own lily pad. "WHAT on earth do you think you're doing?! You're gonna get sick!"

Aw crap. She was stuck in a lily pad maze of students with no way to move about. There HAD to be a way to get around here somehow. So, even though she had her shoes off, she got down on her knees while still in the center, and what? Oh yeah. She had to use her HANDS to push the water.

EWEWEWEW. Pond slime. GROSS.

"Juuust wait till I get you," she said, peddling closer. "I should TOTALLY -- whaaaaat is HE doing?"

ZOMG. That looked like fun. And since BunBunz was in the water...

Nah. Karma just giggled as she was kneeling down on the lily pad, concentrating on getting over to Cam's.

Karma rolled her eyes at Cope.

"Oh puh-LEASE Copernicus," Karma said, floating by. "You can't be menacing. You're a big stuffed teddy bear, remember?"

She pulled a Plym wink as she continued to float by to the other side of Cam. Ohh man. That little kid was in trouble biiig time by his -- ahem -- "sister".

Ewww more pond water....Anastasia winced again and turned away as that infuriating man went for a DIVE in her pond. Where did he think he was? His stupid stomach was probably scraping along the bottom...well...maybe? Come to think of it, she didn't really know how deep this little pond was, exactly, at the very center...uh...that was probably something that should have been figured out before having class out here....er...

The redhead bit her lip at the thought that now there was a wild crazy gardener swimming around underneath the children and he probably didn't care who he knocked off their lilies as long as they got wet. She, on the other hand, could get fired.

"Students, erm," Bunbunz turned around on her lily and faked a smile at the class. Ah good, Feefifyrofum had made it across the pond safely. Everyone had just about crossed now. Excellent. "So you may all remove your blindfolds, if you have not done so already," she cleared her throat nervously. "And uh, that about concludes class. If you haven't made it across the lilies do hurry up, please. I have a stack of parchments sitting on my bench over there," she gestured toward the unmistakable pink bench, "with homework questions written on them. Just...fill those out nicely and uh, the due date is listed on the parchment. Excellent lesson."

She clapped her hands and then made a hasty jump to a lily pad closer to the pond's edge, hopefully where it would be too shallow for Masterson to make it. "Oh, and about the points: each house will get 5 points for showing excellent teamwork, and uh, two points to each blinded volunteer for safely making it across, and uh, yes, that concludes the lesson. Good day children!"

Okay so the big bad Neo fish swimming around was reallllly starting to weird her out now. It was like that Muggle movie...with the big fat shark... dundundunnndunndunn.....

May remove your blindfolds? Fantastic. Fyo stabbed at his own, quickly un-knotting its ends and slipping it off, all ready to ask THE BunBuz Professor Bunbury if he might cross the pond without the blindfold on -

- Only to see DEE chaos.

- The sort of chaos that only two people with positions at Hogwarts can create.

Uhhh.. Yes, the homework, that. He might as well get himself one of those parchments, you know. Fyo's wide [read: HUGGEE after what he was just seeing] eyes travelled over the pond, the shiny typa pond, and he shrugged.

ooc: Mixed in with some of the parchments that were Professor Bunbury's hand outs are a few magical parchments known as the Aparecium. Take one. Have fun. Gossip among your friends and best of all, have fun reading.

Herminny quickly walked over to the bench the teacher had indicated to grabbed the peice of parchment and started reading it and smirked a little thinking theis assignment would certainly be intresting. She then thought about leaving cause the teacher had anounced class dismissed but she stuck around to see what would come of the fight betwwen Bunbury and the grounds keeper. dun dun dun

Lyra walked over to the bench and grabbed a piece of parchment for which she thought was homework. What an interesting class and the professor seemed a bit...stressed. And why did it always seem as though Bunbunz class was full of fun and excitement?

Oh yeah! Because it was Bunbunz!

Cam looked at the really big Ravenclaw boy and really didn't like a lecture--except from when it's from professors and all. This one... this one didn't like his way of fun which was just meaaaaaaan. Why did every older student have to tell him what to do? He was fuhreeeee in this world--or so he thought. And this guy used big Ravenclaw'd words... what the heck did abhorrent mean? It had ab... in it... it could have meant he had aabbsss. Nahh. It had ab in it still, so maaaybe it meant similar to like... abnormal or irregular or something like that. Bleh. If only he brought a dictionary.

"Fiiiiine, Mister Lifeguard sir, buuu--," oh noes... he turned around and saw the surprised yet shocked expression of Karma Atkins; his somewhat friend that he thought was some sort of a bigger sister. Well she really was his sister actually. Just a long-lost sister, separated and all.

He would even get a blooood test just to prove it. He looked at his hands and well, the huuuurt. STOOOPID PRICKLEY UNDERSIDES. Karma was there in an instant and he prepared to be faced by another lecture but she only told Mister Lifeguard that ... he was a big teddy bear. Well he did look like a bear. Because of his insane looks... Cam didn't know how to explain it, but you could call it that?

"Big teddy bear? I don't think Mister Lifeguard is ... a teddy bear. He looks like some wrestler or something..." PFFT WELL HE DIIIID. Wait. Teddy bear? WAS KARMA FLIIIIIRTING? NO. He could NOT take Karma flirting with other guys and that Hufflepuff kid he saw today was OK but definitely this guy had a chaaance! She could be stolen away from him! "Um... Mr. Teddy Bear--can I call you Ted? Yeah Ted, you should stay away from her," he said, forgetting about the boy's name and simply calling him Ted, "see she has ... raaaabies."

Yes he was THAT desperate. HMPH. Cam steepped caaarefully through each lily pad until he was on land. "Byeeee Mr. Teddy Bear and Karmie!" And with that, he left off to get the homework parchment but didn't realize he had taken two pieces of parchment instead of one.

Copernicus gave Karma a sheepish look. "Teddy bear? No wonder I'm not prefect material." He jumped to the next lily pad and then finally to the land before stopping to make sure that Karma made it safely ashore. TEDDY BEAR? And what had that boy called him? A wrestler? Had he put on some tummy? Cope poked his belly thoughtfully.

Ah well. He grabbed the assignment.

No other words to say it - Karma's jaw dropped. That little twit was SO going to get it.

"CAMERON -- whatever your middle name is -- KARSTON!"

She paddled after him for a moment while she watched him swim away giggling. Oh man. He was SO hers later, well, after the homework at least.

Homework. DING!

"Hey Cam!" Karma called after him. "You and I are going to work on the homework together."

Karma laughed slightly when Cope commented on not being prefect material. She paddled her lily to the other side of the pond and jumped out after Copernicus.

"You're just too nice to be a prefect," she said, honestly. "And you were the one who called yourself a teddy bear. Or something like that the other day in the hall."

Ahh -- where were her shoes?! GASP. Wet feet and grass meant it was slippery. Grr.

"After you hit the wall, that is," she added quietly so only Cope would hear.

As chaos erupted all around Jack, he stood as still as possible on his lily pad, hardly daring to breathe as he watched everything going on around him. First, Reese almost DIED, and Jack was very close to jumping off of his pad (never mind the fact he can't swim) in an act of chivalry to save her, but she ended up alright in the end. THEN the groundskeeper had shown up, and Bunbury was obviously not happy about this. Why was that? Jack had always like Masterson, he seemed pretty cool when you weren't touching his dirt.

Desperate to get out of this pond, he took the next three lily pads quickly, jumping from one to the other without hardly stopping. It was easier this way, he had discovered, although the only reason he had decided to do this was to get out of the lily padded area before someone accidentally knocked him into the water and killed him. With one last bounding leap, he landed on solid ground next to Herminny and Fyo.

"YESSSSSSS! I'm ALIVEEEEE!" he cried, pumping a fist in the air as he collapsed on the ground, enjoying his deep breaths as he regained his composure. That was, by far, one of the scariest things he had encountered at Hogwarts. Oh yes. And he was not about to go do it again, thank you very much.

As he grabbed the Professor's handout, he found that he had accidentally gotten two parchments as well. As he turned to hand it back to Bunbury, he realized that it was definitely NOT homework, but a gossip column of some sort. Hmmm. Standing there, mid action pose as he held out his arm to give it back, he quickly snatched it away before the professor had a chance to realize what had happened and stuffed it in his bag. Hehe.

Reese didn't want to stay in this pond any longer. She was a little bit paranoid after almost drowning in this pond. She kept her eyes on Cam, who was a few lily pads beside her. She didn't want him coming anywhere near here. She took in a deep breath and started hoping from one lily pad to another. She made sure to keep her balance on the lily pad when she was on it, so she wouldn't fall in the water.

When she finally made it to the other end of the pond, she started to squeeze some of the water out of her hair. While she was squeezing the water out of her hair she was also walking back to the pile of shoes. She wanted to put her shoes back on.

She finally got her shoes on and now she was getting everything back in her bag. She left her bag on the bench and headed over to the stack of paper and grabbed not one, but two pieces of parchment. Then, with the parchment in her hands, she walked back to the bench. Without looking at what she gabbed, she stuffed the homework in her bag.

What was up with Jack? Fyo's oh-so-huge-by-now eyes widened even further [and you'd have thought that wasn't possible] as he looked the tall, lanky guy's way. Then, realizing it was rude to stare, he wrenched his eyes away.

Now where had he been? Before he'd seen Jack, that is? Oh yes, the homework. He had to do that, of course he had to. Fyo walked over to the bench, making ready to grab one of the parchments from their sorta thick pile.

Then a newspaper page type thing slipped from the top of the pile, and fell on to the ground.

Two words: Total distraction.

What was this? Because it definitely didn't look like the other parchments, you know. The homework must be two pages long, Fyo decided after a moment's thought, and this had to be the other page. Yeah, that was it.

Inwardly groaning at the thought of so long an assignment, he grabbed both pages and made his way outside of the watery-soil-ish place.

And that was when he realized he didn't have his shoes on.

fx Vanessa giggled when he winked at her, and she nearly lost her balance. Oh Noes! Flailing her arms around trying to regain her Balance, Vannie squeaked a little before finally finding her balance. Smiling at Torin she turned back around, and took a careful step onto the next lily pad.

"You should. They were expensive." She spoke, not turning to face him, as she looked for the next lily pad she was going to step onto. She was nearly across yey. Taking a large step, she moved onto the next lily pad.

Kevin quickly jotted down the homework and put his shoes on and left the gardens hoping to find somewhere to do the homework

"Excellent Kev!" Miles clapped, but quickly stopped as he needed to balance himself again. As Kevin was hopping further away from him, Miles stepped onto the lily pad which Kevin just left. Miles turned to look at Bunbunz and gave her a thumbs up. Hehe. He was doing so well! He was quite suprised that he was the only one helping the Slytherin, what happened to house pride and everything?

"Alright, you have one more lily pad to get to, and it's not moving. But ... I reckon, you could make it if your stride was a lot wider than before. It's the only lily pad within your distance and it will take you to the otherside."

Miles steadied himself on the lily pad behind Kevin, hoping he will get this. "You could say this is the trickiest part. But you're doing well, so no worried." He smiled, though Kevin wouldn't be able to see it. N'aaaaw.


It didn't work.

IT DIDN'T WORK.

Ooooh. He was so going to give that Hufflepuff kid some sort of punishment for not leaving his girlfriend alone. And furthermore, why hadn't Vannie done anything? Maybe it was because she was now blindfolded. But he wasn't going to start helping her, she had her little huffie man. Grrr. Miles turned back to Kevin, hoping he was concentrating under that blindfold.

Once Kevin had arrived safely and he had too, Miles quickly went back over to his shoes and wrote down the homework. "See ya later, Professor." He smiled, before leaving in a mopey kind of way.

Dominic had almost made it safely across the pond... He had known that mostly because of his close proximity to the ground (from using his eyesight) and also the fact that the breeze was lessening from being close to shore. Just two more jumps and that should do it . . .

. . . But wait! What was going on between Caleum's friend and the Herbology Professor? Turning slightly on the spot, the sixth year tilted his head just right as he eyed the pair judgmentally. It was quite the interesting show they were putting on except that WHY had the groundskeeper just jumped into the pond like a madman!? OH! Maybe he was going to overthrow her lily from underneath!! CLEVER MAN!!

EEP! What was this?!? Class dismissed!? And to think he was still standing, knees bent slightly, on a lily pad. Frowning down at his shoes - because he had not removed them - he exhaled and then looked up to study the route to safety, making the two quick jumps he needed until he was now safe on solid surface. Not that the lilies weren't solid, but there was still the chance with the groundskeeper swimming around, that his lily got jolted instead of the Herbology Professor's.

Right.... Homework! Because even in sixth year, he still needed to do such a thing.

In mixed haste between wanting to get far from the grounds as possible and also wanting to watch the show between the two Staff members (and obtain more gossip), he reluctantly grabbed the parchment indicated by Bunbury. A parchment that did NOT contain his homework at all - an issue that would have to be rectified once he discovered that.

Shoving the 'aparecium' parchment unknowingly into his bag, the Hufflepuff waved a quick 'see you later' to Professor Bunbury, before turning to stroll off towards the castle.

Last lily pad for her. Shumeeta gave a pretty big skip, takin' her time to poke her head underwater and get a sight of what was under that surface. Awesome undersides those lilehhs had. Once she was safely across she beamed to herself, wet but happy.


Her shoes and then the homework. She grabbed at the parchments on the bench, got one an' slipped it in her bag. Then she noticed....... Wuz daaat a gossip column? Her eyes passed it over and on her way outside, she put it into her bag too.

The shoes.

Fyo's feet scrapped against a mixture of grass and soil-ish stuff as he walked over to the spot where he had left his shoes, only to come to a rather sudden halt. His - his - Ohmygosh, his shoes.

What had that Varius guy done to his shoes? His nice-new-leathery shoes? Because one of them looked like a deflated balloon, the other like something the cat had tried to eat.

BunBunz Professor Bunbury still seemed, err, busy, and Fyo decided it would be no good to bring her attention to this. And, besides, his shoes weren't really harmed. Just.. kinda scrunchy. [Oh, the HORROR! The HORRORR!]

He slipped one foot into its shoe, made a rather sour face, and then slipped his other foot into the other shoe. There; he was SHOE'D-ED now. Which meant he could finally escape back to his common room - His nice, warm, non-blindfold-like common room.

SighSIGHbigsiiigh.

"Mah bad!" he called out when she almost fell off the lily. He didn't think him winking at her would do that. He had only winked in a friendly gesture. Oh well.

"How expensive?" he added frowning as he looked at them. They were pretty but didn't seem anything special. He could think of better uses for money.
