"I'm Dani." She was awake enough now to realize that she was clinging to a boy. A cute one. The thought made her loosen her hold a little but then tighten it again when she wobbled a little. "I'll try not to fall asleep."

"It's Lynny remember! No more Aislynn!" She laughed. "It is pretty nifty." She looked at it closely. It's incredibly shiney. She could stare at it for hours. "It would be a nice back scratcher!" She laughed. "This is the coolest thing next to my stick-a-ma...I mean wand! Maybe furious broom man will forget the whole meeting ordeal with that Professor Kaziwhatzit when I show him this!"

"Nice to meet you." he said smiling at her.It was nice meeting her..just not a good time. He giggled to himself. He felt her wobble on the broom. "Are you..okay?" he asked her. "You can hold on to me.. if you need."

He rolled his eyes. "Lynny. Sorry. And I don't think you want to use it as a back scratcher." This girl was so random. "Well, I have no idea what Professor Vindictus will say about it." He might get mad that she put herself in danger.

Reese kept her hand reached out towards the flailing boy until he grabbed on. She made sure the little boy was up on the broom before she slowly began to rise back into the air. She looked back at Anna, making sure that Aornos wasn't going to attack her or anything. But, how WOULD he attack her? He didn't have a trident. Bwaha! "Make sure you don't fall off, okay?" She told the boy before she flew over to Professor Vindictus and Anna.

"Great job, Anna," she said with a smile. "So, now we got the key. All we have to do is free the Princess, right?" RIIIIGHT?!

"Thanks. I think I'm ok." She hugged him a little tighter, just to be safe. Then she started sending stunning spells out at the grindylows again. She shivered. It was kind of cold. Geez. Suck it up already, she thought to herself. Would this battle ever end?

Sarah had quietly followed the others up the corridor to the Headmasters Office,where she had nearly fainted at the thought of Vindictus' plan.She had come this far,though,so couldn't very well turn round and leave them all.Maybe she could help.
With the loud shout of "Sushi!!!!" Sarah started shooting stunning spells at anything in the water hoping it might give Anna space to get at Aornos.After what seemed like forever,and with the blinding light of Professor Vindictus' 'Lumos' spell in her face,Anna managed to...punch? the Mer King and get the key.
So excited was Sarah that she nearly fell off her broom. "Wait! What cave? What do we do now? I'm confused?!" There she was: wet,cold and hovering above several feet of water with no clue as to what was going on.

He swam helplessly, not knowing what to do. The key had been taken from his king's neck, they had to get it back somehow.

But how? He shook his trident at the evil child who had taken the key and lunged forward, but he was too late.

Myrtle had been casually watching the going-ons in the Headmaster's office from a small cauldron in the corner. She wasn't about to join in and dooo anything heroic, because that simply wasn't her style. And besides, the merpeople had let her chill under the lake for aaaaaages without poking her with a trident, so why couldn't the students get along with them?

She knew they were going too far though, when Miss Head Girl ripped the key from King Aornos' neck. Ommmm she was gonna gettttt itttttt if she didn't get outttta there. Ommm om om.

Lucky Myrtle knew what to do.

"Pssst, Head Girl!" Myrtle poked her head up out of the cauldron by Pepe's desk. "HEAD GIRL! Psssst fly over heeeere! But be sneaky about it!"

Because duh Myrtle wasn't leaving her safe spot to go join in the First Semi-Annual Fight Against Merpeople To Save Hogwarts Epic Challenge and double duh she couldn't attract all the fishes' attention if she wanted to help Anna.

Key still clutched tightly in her hands, Anna continued to hover above the grindylow and merperson-infested waters. She smiled at her friends who'd helped her and thanked them for congratulating her on snatching that key from around Aornos' neck. As she contemplated what to do next, she heard someone calling out to her, addressing her as Head Girl, from somewhere nearby. She narrowed her eyes in confusion, then surveyed the room in search of the source.

Her eyes fell on Myrtle, and she started to call out to the ghost and ask for help, but then again, Myrtle didn't really seem to want to be seen or heard. Anna gave the ghost a small nod, then steered her broom towards the cauldron, lowering it just a tiny bit so that she could hear what Myrtle had to say. She didn't look directly at the ghost, though, for she realized that Myrtle was on a secret mission to hopefully help them out.

Oh good, the Head Girl was a trustworthy smart one. She was being all quiet and shifty, just like Myrtle, even if she wasn't as beautiful and gorgeous and intelligent.

"You have to take that key to the lake to release the princess," Myrtle whispered just to Anna, still only peeking out of the cauldron. Just the top of her head and half her spectacles were even visible. "I think you should fly out one of the Headmaster's windows. I can take you there... just like, toss my cauldron out the window and then you and the others can fly through. But hurrrrry!"

Breaking the window was sure to cause a bit of a disturbance but it would be the fastest route, this Myrtle knew. And besides, she'd always wanted to go flying out a window in a cauldron. It was every ghosts' dream.

Still not looking directly at Myrtle, Anna nodded once, indicating that she heard and understood the message. She'd properly thank Myrtle later on, but for now, any other communication would draw attention to the ghost. Oh, my...toss the cauldron out the window...aka break it into a million and one tiny pieces. Any other time, this would spell expulsion, but she was sure the headmaster wouldn't mind a broken window all in the name saving Hogwarts.

Anna turned to a nearby student and whispered, "I'll explain later, but for now, make sure you get word to the others that they need to follow suit." Hopefully that'd get the message across to everyone else who was hovering nearby. She didn't want to yell out and draw attention to the cauldron.

Anna lowered the broom a few more feet, then reached down and grabbed ahold of the cauldron. Dude, flying out the window cauldron-style looked fun. With all her might, she picked up the cauldron [s[and Myrtle[/s] and tossed it as hard as she could towards the window.

YAY Cauldron Racing time!

Myrtle grabbed tight onto the rim of the cauldron (as if ghosts could grip anything, but you get the idea) and then she was off, flllllllying through the window (CRASH!) and out out out the window into the yonder. Time seemed to move in slow motion as the wind caught Myrtle's transparent pigtails and she soared out of the cauldron. If only she could have had a soundtrack right then and there...

I see skies of blue and clouds of white... The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night... and I think to myself... what a wonderful world!

At the sound of the crash, Anna raised her broom higher and higher then sped towards the window as fast as she could. Bet those merdudes never saw that one coming! Mwah ha ha. Before she darted out the window, Anna turned and motioned for everyone to follow her. She turned around just in time to steer her broom right on out the window. Victory! To the lake they go! Giving Myrtle the thumbs up sign, Anna turned her broom towards the lake, speeding off in an attempt to get to that sealed cave as soon as possible and rescue Aornos' sister!

"Hey, Cam...or any one of you guys, hold this key for me, please!" she called out.

OOC: I'm going out to eat, so I wanted to add a little line to pass on the key to someone else. Sorry it's sort of random, but I wanted to get the key to someone before I left. hee hee I'll join you peeps when I get home.

Cam heard something--like a WHOOSH breeze-ish sound coming from the stairs that led back down the entrance. HMM? OMG HIS BROOOOM.

It took his broom more than 15 minutes to come after he'd summoned it...? I'm so pathetic. But at least it came, right?? He grabbed on to his broom and saddled over it, hovering in the air. MWAHAHA now they couldn't reach him. He eyed ONE merman that tried swinging his trident RIGHT at Anna. GASSSSPPPP. HOW DAAARE HE?!

He would have attacked, if not distracted by the other problems. Looking back at Anna... she was... talking... to a cauldron...? AND THEN SHE THREW THE CAULDRON?! Was the key cursed?? She was... acting QUIIIITE awkweeird. She turned tothem, saying... something 'bout following her.

OH. RIGHT. PRINCESS-SAVING.

Where was Cy again though? Cam turned his broom to face the first year Hufflepuff who was doing his book-throwing. SWOOSHing to the broom floating in the water (the previous broom he and the two other boys rode on), he grabbed it. "Oiiiii Cyyyyy," he yelled to the Hufflepuff, throwing the broom straight at his direction.

And he followed Anna, at top speed, heading over to where went. "Weeeeeeeeee." And he stuck his tongue out at the fishpeople AGAIN. MWAHAHAHA.

Torin started when suddenly he heard a loud crash. Why was Anna throwing a cauldron out the window? But before he could ask, she was already flying outside, beckoning for them to follow her.

So without haste, he joined her out the window. He had to admit that part of this was pretty fun.

Reese kept near Anna the whole time she kept talking to the cauldron. It took her a few minutes to actually realize that Myrtle was in the cauldron. Okay, good. She didn't want to think that her friend had gone crazy on them and started talking to inanimate objects.

Once Anna threw the cauldron out the window and motioned them to follow her, she knew what they were going to do now. It was time to save the Princess! "Hold on," she told the boy that was sharing the broom with her. She flew out the window after Cam, Torin, and Anna. Hearing Anna say she needed someone to hold the key, she flew after her friend. "I'll hold it," she told her and took the key from Anna, then continued her flight down to the lake.

Chris watched Anna with a cunfused look as she threw a cauldren though a window. But then he was nudged in the shoulder by a fellow students telling him the plan. Without saying anything he sped after Anna through the now busted open window.

Lynny saw the Key Girl...Anna, throw a metal pot thing out the window. Everyone was flying outside to join her. So, with her new shiney trident, she went out with window with the rest of the group. As if the fishey people weren't bad enough, what were they up too next? Were they going to fight giant lizards? Or take on flying monkeys? She just kept her mouth shut and waited to see what the group would have to say.

Before William could blink a cauldron was thrown out of the window and all sorts of things happened at once. Anna called out for someone to take the key, and the flew out the window. The king seemed to be in a state of utter annoyance but he didn't care. All he knew was they were close to saving the princess and restoring the true power.

Flying out the window behind the others, William held on with both hands, no longer worried about his injured shoulder.

Ooooooh we're on the move again it would seem!
Sarah looked up,from her position near the door,at the sound of an almighty crash.Why was the Head Girl throwing a cauldron through a window? OH! So we can fly through it! This cold water really had gone to her head.
Seeing that others had started to follow Anna out,Sarah steered her broom in the direction of the shattered window and with one final poke of the tongue to the stranded mermen and grindylows sailed through.

The Peruvian Darkness powder was fading and Vindictus ended the spell by whispering 'Nox'. "Keep on stunning them!" he called out and gave a grindylow a swift kick with his foot.

A piercing screech echoed throughout the school and into the depths of the Lake as King Aornos summoned his trident that was stolen by the Gryffindor girl.

It made a loud whistling sound and was protected by a shield of bubbles as it landed in the merchief's open hand.

Lynny flew in through the window and saw that the BIG angry fish man already had the trident. She took out her wand and pointed it straight at his chest, "STUPEFY!!!" She yelled. "That trident doesn't belong to you buddy!!" She was so angry, she went through great lengths to getting it and taking care of it. "You big bully, just wait til your sister gets here!" She circled over his head, staying out of his reach!

Stupid, stupid, STUPID girl. With one swift move of his trident, Aornos blocked the spell and watched it ricochet back towards the girl. At the same time, he jabbed his trident at her as his great tail whipped around and closed in on the back of the girl's head.
