"Came." Caroline corrected, stepping throught the threashold. "Plymouth thought I might not be able to keep up with him in my shoes. Evidently he has never seen anyone dance a quickstep." Not her favourite dance, but certainly useful training for later life, it seemed. She looked around. Professor Kazimeriz... all 'concernicus'. Celandine Toussaint.... not at all as Tobi described her. And Plymouth, about to keel over, she conjured a glass of water for him, "Drink this before you make a second patient of yourself, please." she instructed him, handing him the glass. Then she turned to Professor Kazimeriz, not her favourite person, but lately, a better ally than some. "Now, would someone like to brief me a little before we get started?" |

Celandine was having a nice little daydream where she was having a picnic and all her favourite food was arranged in front of her. In her dream she was keeping company with Nico and Will and Tobi and Dom-in-ick and Plymouth and Copernicus and Garret and Barry and Seymour and for some reason Cale Newell was there, possibly to provide entertainment with some good old fashioned Nico/Cale rivalry (not that Anna or Evolette were anywhere in sight, but whatever, it was a drream). Then suddenly in her daydream, she realised that they were ALL BOYS and ALL DISGUSTING and her dream self got up and ran away. "Ew." she murmured out loud, still staring at nothing. |
Plymouth took the water and drank down a few big gulps. He was stunned at exactly how thirsty he was. Them Healers... they really KNEW stuff. ... Okay, back to focusing. Plymouth set the glass of water Krazi/Bontecou's desk (no coaster, didn't care to find one) and then slid in behind Cela's chair again. He tried not to, really, but he couldn't help himself. He leaned over the chair and ran the back of his hand along her cheek. "She'll be okay, Professor Kazimeriz. Just you wait and see. CellBell is brilliant and funny and this whole thing is probably just another experiment or something." Plymouth pulled his hand back and rested his chin on the top of the chair. He was trying to stay close, not get kicked out, but be out of the way all at the same time. |
Caroline nodded serenely. "So this is not her best day ever," she commented, setting her bag on the desk and manouvering around to perch near Celandine. "First and formost, before I begin, I would like to know why Miss Toussaint was taking anit-lusting potion, who was administering it, what was the perscribed dosage, and how did she come to excede the dosage to," she gestured to he lethargic young girl in her midst, "this effect. I can't run the risk of making anything worse, you understand." While she waited for an answer she began unpacking her bag. Phials of potion of every colour imaginable seemed to materialize from the little satchel. It made one wonder what charms were placed on it and just how big it was on the inside. |
Kazimeriz glared at the nurse. This was no time for twenty questions! "The reason for the potion seems self evident. As to your other questions, it seems to me that until you bring her around to a coherent, cooperative state, your interrogation is futile. Though I suspect the potion was being administered by the young girl herself, which would explain how she easily misused it. Any potion that seeks to conquer the vices is very complex and its use must be delicately managed. Now for Merlin's sake, woman, quit wasting time and heal her." Kazimeriz spoke quickly in a sharp, impatient tone, still casting over the girl while he waited for the nurse to get to work. He watched the young Toussaint girl, his eyes filled with concern for her. |
Caroline didn't waste her time glaring back. She merely selected an electric blue vial of potion and uncorked it. "Kindly don't question my methods, Professor," she maintained her light tone, "and I'll afford you the same courtesy." She'd been taught, in her training, and by her grandmother before that, that the first rule of healing, is never assume. It makes... well everyone knows what it makes. But it can make things worse. "Now Celandine," she held out the phial for the girl to take. "Can you try an invigorating draught for me?" |
The reason was self evident? It was?? Plymouth was, without question, the most confused boy in the entire school and maybe all of Europe. Why Cela would make herself carefree to the point of comatose-ness was just not "self evident". Plymouth was much more interested in the questions that Healer Avalon was asking, but he DID side with Krazi on this one. Just heal her so that Plymouth could have a hug and the world would be right again. "Course she can, can't you CellBell?" Plymouth encouraged helplessly. "I bet it even tastes like blueberry taffy. MMhmm. And it MIGHT even make your tongue blue, too..." which was always cool. |

"Okay... maybe we'll do it this way, just for the first one. Sorry Celandine, but just to get us past this stage okay?" Caroline slid her arm around Celadine's shoulders and tipped the girl's head back. Gently opening her mouth, she poured the contents of the phial carefully down her throat. She never realised how often she would have to do this at Hogwarts. It seemed to her that she had done it an awful lot since she arrived. "It should only take a moment," Cari assured them, "and then she'll be at least... with us." |

Caroline bit her lip to suppress a giggle. "I know how you feel sometimes," she whispered. Getting up she selected another potion. A Euphoria elixir, bright yellow, she uncorcked the phial and passed it to Celandine. "Just ignore him for now. Can you drink this for me?" |

Cela was clearly not herself. |
"Cari, be a dear and do try to see that she regains her spunk yet still keeps that attitude until she is of-age, will you?" Kazimeriz quipped. He couldn't help but feel a certain grandfatherly protectiveness toward the girl. She had a lot of promise -- if only she wasn't so distracted by males! He made a mental note to owl her parents and recommend an all-girls school. The child would benefit from it, there was no doubt. |
Cari glared at Kazimeriz. She had no success with Legilemecy, but she could still communicate the sentiment, 'shut your pie hole, you crusty old fart,' with a single look. She had nothing but patience for Celandine though, "I tend to agree, Celandine, thank you for taking the potion. Would you please try Vitality Vapours now?" Caroline produced another phial, this one a lumicescent pale green. It gave a soft hiss as she uncorked it, and bubbled like a fizzy drink. |

The bubbles tickled. |
"My Potions Professor was my favourite when I was in school too," Caroline confided. She uncorked yet another phial, this one such a pale pink it was almost white. "Now I only have only one potion left for you to take, Celandine, and then we'll see how you feel," Caroline told her, handing it over to her. "It's commonly called Ilyapp, among those who can make it." |
"I don't like potions all that much." Cela whispered. "Ilyapp?" Cela repeated, tipping her head to one side. She took the potion and examined it for a moment before drinking it down. Blink. "When I grow up, I want to marry Professor Kazimeriz." She whispered. "We can live in the astronomy tower and gaze at the stars." |

Sort of? |

Plymouth was listening with ALL his might, all his attention, and soaking it all in. "Bah. Always figured you'd marry me. I've got to be more fun than Krazi," Plymouth whispered. He was actually a horrible whisperer though. He just had one of those voices that carried... Plymouth watched for a reaction that didn't involve her blanching and feeling like he soaked in garbage juice for a week. Was she fixed yet??? Quote:
Plymouth didn't do subtle. He waved at Krazi, sort of a, 'nah you go ahead I think I'll stay here' wave. And he did, of course, stay right there close behind Cela's chair. His nose was resting on the very top of the chair with his fingers. |

Pepe finally made it back to his office through one of the secret passages (so as to bypass the gargoyle). There were people in there, though. "Oh, sorry," he apologized as he stepped into view. |
Kazimeriz turned to see Bontecou, and smiled at him, nodding politely. "Welcome back, Headmaster. I do hope you will forgive the continued invasion into your office space... Miss Avalon is seeing to a student whose condition was too grave to move to the hospital wing." He cast an eye around the now fastidiously clean office, noting that it was rather a full house between Morgan, Toussaint, Avalon, Upstead and himself. He would clear them out as soon as possible. |
I'd quote, but no. you can beat me with a rubber chicken if you want. Ah... she'd been worried about that. Celandine had a bit of excess affection and a few hallucinations. They'd be short lived. It was the Vitality Vapors kicking up the Ilyapp. "Hmmm, well, not to worry, I've got this one covered too, she'll get over this in a day or so, back to her normal state." Cari cleaned up her supplies dropping phials into her bag quickly. And then... the Headmaster arrived to claim his office. Apparently he had still managed to elude the Giant Invisible Gerbil. "Oh hello Headmaster!" Yeah.. not comfortable with her boss yet. "I was just getting Celandine Ambulatory, I think we've managed that now, and I was thinking I might bring her up to the hospital wing; I have a letter from a friend of hers waiting for her, it might be useful to check her attention span. What do you think about that Celandine?" |

"I can't feel my fingers, how am I supposed to walk?" Cela saw Plymouth, offered him a little air nuzzle sort of by reflex and stood up again. "LETS RACE! OH! Ohohoh! I shoulda worn my glisseo shoesies!" She was smiling to the point where her face looked like it probably hurt. "Can we get some mashed potatoes?" |
