"Don't talk about dying, Lynny. You will be fine. We will figure something out." He was glad that he was a good actor. 'cause he really didn't believe what he was saying to her. |
Cy was in awe at what just happened. The Princess, she’d done it, or had she? Anyways, Cy threw a fist in the air in victory. “Don’t mess widd’us.” He said, then pounded his chest with his fist. Setting his eye on that merwoman princess, he landed his broom near her. “Thanks.” For once, his voice wasn’t annoyingly loud. He was in awe of her odd beauty. “Can I touch you?” He asked, goofy grin playing on his lips. “Unless you’re in a hurry.” Please Arethusa please! Cy wanted to TOUCH you! |
Arethusa watched her brother leave. "Your school will be restored by morning. Thank you again for your help, I am forever indebted to Hogwarts." Arethusa swam out, the water turning clear and swirling in her wake. |
The water began draining out of the second floor slowly. |
Jack just stood like a statue, except his eyes were blinking. It was over just like that? He was in shock. Indecision swept over him. What if it was a trick? He could seem to get his head around the idea that it was all over. |

The Princess was going to restore the school AND their possessions? All right! Reese was going to get her guitar back! She was starting to worry about that, seeing as she has had that guitar since she was 11 and she loved it so much. She could just hug the Princess right now, but decided against it. Merpeople don't like hugs, do they? Quote:

Jack noticed that the water was draining from the room. Perhaps it was over after all. He slowly started making his was out of the Headmasters Office and back to the dorm. A good nights sleep was in order. |
He smiled at Reese when she talked to him. He had almost forgot all about her. But she might be right... He had to stay positive like he kept pretending to be. "Look, the water's draining!" he said suddenly as he realized it was getting shallower in there. ... "I think I need a Reese hug." |
William blinked as the princess said goodbye and as she left the water turned clear and began to empty itself. She truly was the most amazing thing he had ever seen, and he had seem a lot of weirdness in his time. Gripping his broom he lowered himself, wincing at the stabbing pain in his shoulder which he now felt more than ever. It was nothing compared to what Aislynn was feeling though and he looked at her with pain in his eyes. |
Everything seemed to be fading around her. "Torin, do you mind helping me to the waiting room?" Lynny didn't think she was going to make, and not just to the hospital wing. |

Lynny nodded. "I don't...I don't think I'm gonna make it." Her eyelids felt heavy. She ached all over. She let him carry her. She was trembling. |
"Don't be silly, Lynny. You will make it." And with that, he lifted her up in his arms and made his way out of the Office. He was worried by just how light she was. |
As Arethusa said, the water was drained out, the injuries healed, and everything was restored to normal... everything... except the little Gryffidor girl. |
Dani smiled. It was over! She leaned against Nathanial and fell asleep again. It had been a long day. She figured they weren't coming back, the water was practically gone. She sighed contentedly, asleep on a practical stranger. |
Vindictus lowered his wand and the effects of his spell subsided. He sighed rather loudly and looked at the kids. "I think we all need some chocolate after dealing with this," he said with the old familiar twinkle in his blue eyes. "Brownies. Gooey, chocolatey brownies." He landed and dismounted from his broom. "Anyone who has a school broom, please return them in person to the rack in the Broomshed and if you don't have a broom, stop by anyway for some brownies. Or if you don't like chocolate, there'll be some blueberry muffins and other sweet treats." Yes, things were normal once more at Hogwarts. Vindictus's appetite said so. |
SPOILER!!: Aornos, Arethusa, and The Narrator ...and just like that, everything seemed to take a turn for the better. Finally. Aornos had just begun the journey back to the lake, but when he turned around and gave one last look, Anna stuck her tongue out at him and made a face. She wasn't sure if he saw her or not, but it sure made her feel better all the same. That greedy merdude had caused far too much destruction at Hogwarts. When Arethusa started talking, Anna turned her attention from brother to sister. "Thank you for your help, Arethusa," she said, not having time to say too much more. Aornos and Arethusa had both gone back to the lake for good by now. She wasn't sure if she'd ever see them again, but in Aornos' case, the longer he stayed away, the better. As for Arethusa, she wouldn't be so bad to run into at one point and time. Of course Anna wouldn't be here at Hogwarts anymore anyway. No one had to wonder for too long how the water would be drained from the castle, for it immediately started draining itself shortly after the creatures left the castle. Anna gave a little fist pump into the air, then began making her way out the office. Quote:

Nodding to Vindtictus he smiled before waving and saying, "See you in a bit professor, and thanks for all your help." yeah as if he needed thanking, he was a professor he could do anything. Turning on his heel he made his way out of the headmasters office with a smile on his face. |
Why does the good stuff happen when I'm offline? lol Quote:
Dismounting from her broom,Sarah felt her legs go wobbly.Must be the cold making them like that,I really should get changed into dry robes....and get down the broomshed. Smiling with satisfaction she made her way out of the Headmasters Office and back towards the common room to change. |

AH. It was finally OVER and that would mean no more flooding, no more water and no more evil merpeople attacking. Cam felt goooooood. He looked over at Torin and the girl who did not get healed, wondering what had happened to Lupa. Was she...? He didn't know and he didn't want to know. BUTWAIT. Broooowniess?! YES. YAY. He dismounted from his broom and decided to follow the others to the broomshed. |

James Longbottom knocked on the Headmasters office door. "Um, Headmaster?" He looked at his papers. A letter from his mother, great! And he had to show it to t he Headmaster. Alrighty. While James waited for an answer he read the letter again: Dear Headmaster, I am the mother of respectful student James Longbottom and I am concerned on the recent happenings at your institution. Werewolves, floods, and united houses! This Hogwarts was not the Hogwarts of my childhood and I wish that my son leave your school. I believe he can better get an education elsewhere. But before anything happens, we need your approval. Sincerely, A concerned mother: Julie Longbottom |
