Jane laid the flowers on the table and talked to Christian, but not before holding his hand under the table to calm him down after she told him not to leave.

"He just gave me flowers, that's all,"Jane assured Christian who was obviously trying to not pick a fight with a 2nd year. She saw him bite the cupcake rather furiously. Perhaps, he didn't notice. She saw the Huffie turn back and walk away from the Gryffindor table. She kinda felt bad for not talking to him more or something. But he stole her cupcake!!! but....he gave her flowers. She didn't know what to do. She thought she'd just talk to him the next time she sees him.

Christian couldn't trust himself to speak just yet. If he did he'd say something he'd regret later.

"I thought it would be rude to not take the flowers. He said it was a peace offering,"Jane tried to make Christian feel better. She leaned to his ear and whispered,

"He's a second year. He's too young for me,love,"she smiled, hoping he's reaaaallly cheer up.

"I know Jane but it still hurts." He whispered.

Jane frowned. She didn't know accepting flowers as a peace offering would hurt Christian. She didn't understand why. She had just told him she wouldn't even consider anyone else, yet he was hurt? She just needed to clear things up. She was rather confused.

"Why, love?"she asked softly. She just needed to understand why he was hurt.

"You took flowers from some other guy Jane! What else am I supposed to feel?"

"It was nothing!!she said a little louder than the whisper.

"It doesn't mean anything to me, Christian,"she tried so keep calm but the thought of him not trusting her just killed her a little inside. She just took the flowers to not cause any scene, she thought. The whole cupcake thing flashed back into her head again. She didn't know how else to explain to him. She thought her last reply might give him a clear explanation, hoping that he didn't think she liked accepting flowers from strange boys, who stole her cupcake.

He looked at her. "I guess you're right." It still irritated him that she hadn't thrown the flowers in his face.

Jane didn't know what to say. She wasn't that type of person who picks fights with cupcake stealers. Besides, there were plenty more of that where it came from and girls liked flowers. She thought it was a waste to throw it away. She could dry them up between her books to make pretty little bookmarks with them. To make him feel better, she squeezed the flowers into her bag, between her books like she doesn't care about them. She stood up and said,

"Let's just go,"she told him gently.

Christian got up. "I guess it's ok since they were a peace offering and not anything romantic." He didn't believe that for a second but he didn't tell her that. "that's a good idea love."

Jane took both his hands and smiled. She began to sing!! It was something that made them both feel better, maybe to her.

ooh ooh ooh, honey
The one I need ,the one I need,
oh yes indeed ,yes indeed!" she smiled while skipping.

"I promised I won't leave you...for anyone else,"she meant it, and whispered so that the firsties won't ogle at her singing.

Christian's silky voice sang to her:
I got chills.
They're multiplyin'.
And I'm losin' control.
'Cause the power
you're supplyin',
it's electrifyin'!

Jane smiled when she got Christian singing. She always felt like they owned the world when they sang. Well, maybe just that happy little patch where they were standing at the moment.

"You better shape up, cause I need a man,and my heart is set on you...." their singing got softer as they exited the hall, happily.

Chris walked over to the Gryffindor table. Was Lena even going to be there? Well she might come. He sat down and waited looking over ever other table making sure she wasn't there. Nope. Tick tock tick tock. Alright so this might be a boring wait. He pulled out a book from his bag. He should probably try to get some homework done...

He was so hungry, Fyo was surprised people ten feet of him couldn't hear his stomach rumbling. Roaring, rather. Which figured, him being Lion boy and all.

Stop thinking of her already, Fyodor Balouch.

Wellll.. He would if he could. Not.

Chris. Fyo gave the older boy a smile as he slid into a seat, holding out his hand. "Hey Chris," he said, pulling a plate towards himself. "How're things?"

feeling slightly bored with herself Lilly thought she would get herself a snack. Perhaps an apple. she liked green ones. they were her favorite. Now all she had to do was find one. psh. good luck with that one she thought. this table was huge and full of food. soon enough though she found on and greedily took a bite from it. yum. yum. she thought she knew there was a reason she liked them so much. now what was she going to do. she got a snack and was not out of options of thinks to do. As she ate her apple, she thought about what to do. well the most logical thing to do was to sit and eat her apple, then she could do something else. This is what she did.

Helena came to a sliding halt in the doorway into the Great Hall. She immediately saw Chris sitting at the Gryffindor Table - reading. A curious smile appeared on her lips; she hadn't expected him to be waiting there for her, though she wasn't at all unhappy. Gathering herself up a little more she made her way to the other side of the table and sat down across from him. Hi, good book? Sorry for the wait - Arithmancy ran late... She stopped, mentally chuckling at the unintentional rhyme she had just made.

Chris looked as Fyo sat down. "Hey bud." He said smiling back. "Umm not to bad." He said. Of course this wasn't the case but not like he wanted everyone to know. "How about you?" He asked.

Chris had looked back down at the book, until he heard someone sit across from him and start talking. He knew that voice maybe a little to well. He looked up a wide smile playing on his face. "Hey. Umm no not really just catching up on some home work." He said and shut the book placing it back in his bag. "It's alright. Must have been a class for it to run late like that." He said still smiling. He felt his heart beat a little faster. What was that about? That was new or was it...

Helena hadn't noticed the other Gryffindor talking to Chris when she first sat down so she gave him a polite smile. Hi, I don't think we've met? I'm Helena. Her eyes were their normal bright blue, and she hoped they'd stay that way so as to not freak him out. She was also hoping he wasn't a Slytherin-hater.

Homework. Ugh, way to remind her. Well, that's good, I guess. After Arithmancy, I'm not sure I'll have another homework-free moment all term. She shook her head slightly so that her dark curls bounced, but she was still smiling. Trust me, I would have left if I could have. Who knew reviewing could take so long? She shrugged slightly and spooned some Shepard's Pie onto her plate.

"Yeah I know it. This is how it gets every term. But hey I guess it's worth it in the end." Chris said and shrugged as he took a piece of bread and started to eat it. "Oh it's alright. It was a good thing you remembered to go. Cause that would have sucked if you didn't. Arithmancy is probably one of my worst subjects." He told Lena.

Helena smiled slightly and ate a bite of her food, but she wasn't in the mood to eat much, so she looked back up at Chris and stirred her food absentmindedly around her plate. I really like Arithmancy, actually, it's just.... OWL year is a lot different I guess. Her smile remained slight, but only because she was holding back from what might be a too-well understood smile.

Naomi sat down and began to put food on her plate. She then looked around at the people sitting around her. "Hi!" she said to her fellow gryffindor.

Zeke sat down near some other Gryffindors. As he began putting food on his plate, he greeted them, "Hey, everyone. I'm Zeke, if we haven't met already. Well, I'm still Zeke if we HAVE met, too," he grinned.

"Hey Lilly," Fyo said, noticing her sit down and grab an apple. "How are you?"

He looked up again when someone - this time a girl - addressed him. Hey, she wasn't a Gryffindor, was she? Fyo gave her a slight smile when she introduced herself, and held out his hand.

"No, we haven't met before," he confirmed. "I'm Fyo. Fyodor, actually, but everyone calls me Fyo, so yeah.."

Another person he'd seen around, but did not know. A grin crept up Fyo's face at the Gryffindor's last sentence. "Hey Zeke," he said cheerfully, hand held out as usual. "Fyo here."
