Large quantities of food are spread before you. Whether breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the Hogwarts' house elves are the best in the world. The food is superb and the company is as well. The house poem, penned by All4oliverwood:
Get up off of your seats
Ready for some fun?
You ain't seen nothin' yet
For this years just begun
Friends are rollin' in
It's faces old and new
Nothing comes between us
Dear Gryffindors be true
Outside of the castle
Ready for things to fly
Lions are soaring strong
In a game that's do or die
On this autumn night
Near the crimson fireplace

With Naomi hanging on, the professor began to swim. With one hand holding tight to Naomi's wrists, Iliana swam an awkward one-arm-freestyle stroke. The icy water soaked her hair as she struggled to keep Naomi's head above water.
Merlin it was cold! So cold. Had she'd ever been this cold?
When at last they'd reached the doors, she gripped onto the frame and pulled them both through. "I've g-g-got to g-g-get you t-t-to the stairs." She called to her through chattering teeth.

The water rose high now pushing all humans out of the great hall and into the entrance hall, as the great hall filled to the ceiling with water, where it again, stopped its ascent.

Chris sat down across from Lena. "Yeah yeah sure you were." He said teasingly. Why does he like the lake so much well there were a lot of reasons. "A lot a lot of memories. I met most of my friends there. But come to think of it they have all left Hogwarts now." Wow he hadn't thought of that. Jason, Rian, Mel, Delilah-hadn't thought of her in awhile-Jamie,Heather and even Roxy all gone weird he was like the only one left from that little group of friends... "And I also had my first kiss there." He had to throw that one in there. "That kiss hurt though. And well I met Melinda there. But she didn't like me at first. It took a long time for that to happen." He told Lena.

Helena smiled as he mentioned memories and she took a sip of her pumpkin juice. Then she choked slightly on it at his next words. Finally managing a painful smile as she set her goblet down, she scratched out, It hurt? with some painful chuckling afterward. How did you manage that? She didn't disregard the Mel statement - she hadn't liked him at first? - but she didn't mention it either; she was just getting used to trying to be friends and not expect more, and jealousy wasn't good for her resume.

Chris noticed Lena sort of choke on her pumpkin juice. He was going to ask if she was alright but then she asked how he managed that one. He laughed. "Well really it wasn't me fault she pushed me into a tree and I slamped my the back of my head on the tree. Not to mentoin she was my ex-girlfriend by this time and I was dating her best friend. But that's a whole other story to itself." He told Lena and took got himself some pumpkin juice and took a sip.

Well the girl she was ummm three years older then me. I was a second year at this point. This whole thing lasted like 3 days and she left for France. I don't like thinking my first kiss was with a girl three years older than me. But it is what it is. So yeah when she left I dated her best friend for about oh I don't know a year or so. Then I ended it with her to be with Mel. And here we are now." He told Lena. It was so weird talking about his relationships with Lena. But hey she need to know sometime right?

Chris chuckled as he took a piece of ham cut it and started to eat it. "Interesting and disturbing. I was some much of a flirt. I was so girl crazy. I would fall for girls that I know nothing about. It was all about looks. That's how I ended up with two blondes right in a row. And all they cared about were looks and that's it. Plus one of them was a brat and treated me like crap. But I know never to do that again. And not that I don't like blondes or anything just these two were really quite blonde. Well more the one that was three years older than me. The other one wasn't so bad." He said shrugging as he eat some more of his ham.

Helena was still chuckling slightly as she began on her potatoes. It definitely was in her nature to make things about looks with how hard her parents were on her, but Lena was always very mindful to be friendly with everybody and then pick out the keepers.
