Dem snapped out of her deep thought and looked at Jesse. "Hm...oh yea I'm fine." she smiled. "You've missed an awful lot." she explained. She took a sip of pumpkin juice before talking again. "Ok so for some strange reason the Slytherin common room, the dungeons, the Hufflepuff common room, and the kitchen level all got flooded. That's why there are Slythies in our common room." she told him. She brought her voice down to a whisper. "And ofcourse the thing with Lizzie and Chris." Dem then turned her attention back to Lizzie. "He....cried?" she asked. Chris seemed like the type of guy that was 'too tough' to cry. "I can't believe he cried." she said in disbelief. "Was he crying because you were crying or was he really that sorry?" she asked her. Dem looked through her bag at all the homework that either hadn't been started or still needed to be finished. "Mind if I join you guys?" she asked Jesse and Lizzie.

Lizzie listened to Dem's story of what Jesse had missed. Well that's about it, in short words she nodded. And of course you can join Dem. Eyeing Jesse she added Unless it's ok with you Jess...?

She thought for a second, then looked at Dem and Jesse saying How about we meet somewhere outside in a while, then I'll have time to go get my books first..?

"Yeah sure i will of course tell Her," she beamed. Juliet was somehow magnetted to him in some way because of that skating thing. "I even saw her once in an empty corridor skating." She continued to eat.

It was totally weird. "They could put a new portrait of a lion and snake," she joked. She haven't thought about that. The entrance leading to the different houses had always bee a secret to each and everyone. Only those who belong in that house knew where is the portal of entry to their own houses... now what will happen to them after the Slytherins have moved out?

She started a slice from her pudding and then another one and another one. Before she realised it was all gone she had to bid goodbye again to her friends. She had to work on something. She turned unto Daisy and sadly said, "I have to go work on something, Daisy," she said. "I'll bump into you again around." After giving her a warm hug she stood up and smiled at Jesse, Lizzie and Dem as she strode off the hall.

Nibbling on a chocolate cupcake - now officially favorite Hogwarts dessert, Selena stayed silent through all the buzzing and chatting that is home to the Great Hall. She have made no friends, so that equals a little bit of peace on her own. To her, that equals luck because pretty much every one who are close to her get into trouble. At that, her heart sank as she thought of Kat and Hito back home. Poor Rose. Poor Manami. These two must be devastated. But she knew that Rose would be back on her feet again soon enough - that girl is very strong with a weed-like determination.

Before she completely leaves the hall, Via glanced at a girl she had passed every now and then even at the common room. She happily waved and smiled at her before she hits the great oak door.

Naomi sat down at the table and pulled the bowl of fruit to her plate and started to pile up on the fruity goodness of it all. She looked around the table as she did this and saw some unfamilar faces. "Hey!" she said to the first person who looked up.

Water trickled into the great hall. It seemed to cover the floor around the Gryffindor Table.

Fooood. Foood. Legend loved food. Which is why he loved the great hall. It was one of the BEST places in school. Stuffing a whole waffle into his mouth he nudged Cy (the awesome Aussie Huffie) who sat by his side. "Ffoo eee 'emdty?" Legend asked with his moth stuffed with food. The first year swallowed. "I mean, do you notice it's kinda empty?"
That was a first.

Cyrus was trying to arrange the foot on his plate to look like a monster whenever he felt a nudge from his buddy Legend. Stuffing some eggs into his mouth, his brown eyes gazed to the left to see the kid with a TON of food in his mouth. Wow.

Laughing heartily, Cy swallowed the eggs. “Geez mate, and you think I talk weird.” The first year shook his head.

Empty? Hmmm, Cy looked around the Great Hall. “Yeh', I’ll tell you why. Its cause people are ‘fraid of me.” Cy nodded fervently, EVERYONE should be afraid of a future world conqueror, right?

Legend shrugged. Talked weird? How did he talk weird. "Ya' do mate." the eleven year old said trying to mimic the Aussie's accent. Which he did horribly. Oh well Cy would understand.

The blonde blinked. "Afraid of you? Whatcha do pass gas or something??" The first year wrinkled his nose. No matter how boyish he was.....ew...farts. Taking another bite of a waffle he looked around. The Great hall seemed....kinda different...the floor seemed more shiny. Maybe they cleaned it!!

"You know what!?" Legend asked getting bored of the shiny floor. "YOU should get a kangaroo. That would be soo awesome."

Cy eyed Legend, and then pounded him on the shoulder with a laugh. “Nice try, but please mate, if I evah’ sound that dumb feed me to thah’ Giant Squid.” Surely he didn’t sound exactly like Legends failed attempt at an Australian accent, SURELY not.

The Australian stuffed some sort of mushy food into his mouth, and smacked loudly. Yes, he had bad table manners. PASS GAS? Cy laughed loudly. “No, trust me, if I broke wind blokes would start dropping like flies.” He grinned wryly at Legend, it was true.

“What?” He said, as he took a large gulp from his pumpkin juice. OHHH, yeah. Cy loved kangaroos’. “I KNOW MATE! There used to be this BOOMER of a ‘roo in me’ backyard. It ran away, but I used to think e’ was a pet. Named it Bruce.” Why Bruce? Cy didn’t exactly have reasoning.

The first year tapped his foot on the ground and a splashing noise was made, but he was completely oblivious to the water.

As Naomi ate her meal she looked down at her feet and saw the water coming into the Great Hall. "Uh oh." Naomi said out loud. She looked up and down the table. It seemed that none of the other students realized that the flood was now coming into the Great Hall. "Um is anyone else's feet getting wet?" Naomi said down the table to her fellow students.

Starving, Shaylee walked down to the Gryffindor table and sat down. She piled food onto her plate and began to eat in sillence while she sat and thought.

Lizzie saw Shay sit down a few seats away from her, and she was just about to greet her friend when water began to flood around the table. Surprised, Lizzie got up and looked around. I can't believe it she sighed. Not this floor too!

Shaylee was about to take a bite of a roll when her socks became wet. She looked down and groaned. Why was there water when she was eating?? She got leped up and noticed Lizzie down a few seats. Hey Liz, Whats happening? She called over to her friend. She started to walk over to her but sliped and nearly fell. Getting up she went and greeted her friend. I guess we should get out of here.

Lizzie grabbed her friend's hand, not wanting Shay to fall and get all wet from the water that was now all over the floor. I think you're right she said, slightly panicked. We should really get out of here right away. I guess it's the flood from the bottom floors that's raised above ground level by now.. she thought aloud as they started to head towards the doors.

Shaylee didn't like this water, it was tripping hazard. She had already stumbled 4 times since she and Liz had gotten up. Shaylee was starting to panic when she said, Lets go up to the dorms. She let Lizzie drag her threw the great hall and up to the common room.

The water suddenly froze and the area around the Gryffindor table looked like an indoor ice rink.

Arrgghh.

His shoes felt wet, and his socks felt.. wetter. Fyo blinked, putting down knife and fork, and peering down at the things. Oh noooes, the water.

THE WATER WAS HERE!

Would the flooding ever stop? The Gryffindor began to stand up, making ready to leave.. and then realized that the H2O was beginning to freeze.

Not good.

Naomi lifted up her legs to stop them from getting wet. she was going to finish her meal before she left. but it seemed that she had picked them up just in time as the water froze. She looked down the table and saw Fyo. "It looks like the water has gotten in here now too." She said to him.

...and that was the manner in which Anna Greingoth unintentionally entered the Great Hall. She came to an abrupt halt a mere inch from Fyo's feet, and she glanced up at the boy with an apologetic expression. Her cheeks reddened and she turned around to see what in Merlin's name had caused her to slip to the ground and slip 'n slide through the Great Hall.

...ice.

She blinked, then turned towards Fyo with a confused expression. "What in Merlin's name has happened in here?" she asked, glancing away from Fyo and towards the other students who'd gathered around. Whatever it was, it sure was fun! That little glisseo-like entrance a few seconds had been sort of embarrassing, but if she was being truthful, it was really fun, too! She pushed herself up off the ground and shook her freezing cold hands. Had she known the professors were going to surprise them with a mega cool ice rink, she'd have put on a few more layers of clothes.

Liesel's teeth chattered as she entered the Great Hall. Eyeing her friend Anna standing by the Gryffindor table, Liesel took one step and....glided? Her sense of balance completely wonky, Liesel spun around and grabbed aimlessly at the air for something to hold onto, but it was all in vain. She ended up latching herself onto a statue, and, looking down, furrowed her brow.

Ice? Why in the world was there ice on the floor?

'Ah well,' Liesel thought, twas no matter. With a simple summoning spell, her iceskates flew past a few heads and crashed into her arms, and after swapping her normal shoes for her skates, Liesel smirked and glided over to the Gryffindor table. Spotting Anna, she skated a little circle around her smiled.

"Hey Anna! Lovely weather we're having, huh?" She giggled a bit a friend's lack of balance, and linked arms with her for support, and then muttered, "This is getting a little ridiculous."

Just as she stood from the ground, a pair of...was that ice skates?...flew past her head and into the arms of someone who must be somewhere behind her. Confused expression still on her face, Anna turned around (slowly and carefully, of course) and came face to face with...no one? Huh? So who'd summoned the skates? Just then, Liesel Hirsch came twirling around her---on ice skates, of course---causing realization to dawn on Anna. "Oh, hey, Liesel. Looks like you had a bit more luck with your entrance that I did with mine," she said. She rubbed the palms of her hands together, still trying to soothe them after they'd been drug halfway across the ice.

"Lovely weather? Getting ridiculous? I...I wasn't here to see how all this happened. Were you?" she questioned. She glanced around at all the ice...ice, which came from water. Water...which likely came from....ugh. Not again. "This is the result of that flood again...isn't it? If it started out as liquidy water, though, doesn't that mean there's a possibility that someone's feet got frozen into the ice?" Blinking, Anna glanced around, looking at the shoes and feet of everyone in the Great Hall.

Liesel looked sheepishly at Anna and shrugged her shoulders, "I guess the water must've found it's way in here...", she trailed off in thought and looked around her. The Gryffindor table didn't seem to be the only one having problems; the Great Hall was like an ice rink. Liesel did a small figure eight around Anna while contemplating a solution. "I didn't see anything, I just kind of walked in and skidded around. I wish we knew how this was happening..." (she did a little spin, then glided backwards), "I mean I guess it could be worse, at least the water isn't rising. And it is kind of fun," she added with a smile.

"COOOOOOOMING THROOOOUGH"

Reese, who was trying so hard to stop, was sliding right into the Great Hall. She was so terrified that she was going to hit someone or something. She was actually more worried about hitting one of the tables and losing a tooth or something. She covered her face with her hands and just hoped she would come to a slow stop, but instead...

BAM!

She slid right into someone. Well, at least she stopped sliding...right? She uncovered her eyes and looked up at the person she ran into. "Anna," she squeaked. "I'm sorry about that. I didn't know how to stop." She took her eyes off Anna for a moment, so she could look around the Great Hall. Wow. This place looked like one BIG ice skating rink, but... "How did this happen?" She asked, then looked back at Anna "It was the flood, wasn't it?"
