"My summer was great darling! Thanks for coming to my party, by the way." she smiled. "How was your summer?" she turned to Lilly. "No thanks, hun. Bertie Botts are one of the few candies I'm not a big fan of."

"ok suit yourself!" she said cherrily and got a handful. "anyone else is free to them if they want"

Tourmaline flew into the Gryffindor Girls dormitory. How Chalice wished she could be there now. Tour had a letter bound to each leg, the one on the right addressed to Lizzie, Shay, and Dem.

Inside the envelope with the letter was three shape shifting pendants with something to represent each of her tree best friends.

Lizzie got the letter from the owl's leg, carefully opening the envelope not to let anything inside it fall out. Handing Dem the envelope with a quick Could you hold this please sweetie.. she opened the letter and read it aloud to Dem and Shay.

...Love and hugs, Cha. Lizzie met her friend's eyes. She's taking care of the funeral all by herself?! she said with wide eyes. Poor little Chalice, we should really be there with her now. Why isn't anyone helping her, a 13-year-old can't manage a funeral all alone! Lizzie eyed the letter again with thoughtful eyes. I'm gonna write back to her, anyone wants me to add something specific? she asked her two best friends.

Getting some parchment from her bag she grabbed a quill and wrote

She paused for a second, eyeing her friends. What should I write about her mother? Lizzie asked quietly. She had no idea how to tell Chalice how sorry she was without sounding like an ordinary "Sorry about your loss". She put the quill against the parchment and waited for some ideas from Shay and Dem.

"Thanks!" Said Amber, taking the gummy worm. "So, what are all your names?" She asked them, munching on her gummy worm.

"Poor, Cha. How in the world is she handling all of this herself." she looked at the pendent that represented her. It had a peice of candy on it. "Well we all know how it feels to lose someone. Tell Chalice our heart is always with her and she's always in our thoughts." Demetria thought about for a moment. "I so wish we could go help her. She really needs us." Dem went over and sat on her bed, twidling with her pendent. The older girl caught her attention. "Oh I'm so sorry. With everything going on I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Demetria." she smiled.

Lizzie listened to Dem and nodded agreeingly. That's a good way of putting it. Hmm, let's see...

She read her letter aloud to her friends, then put the letter in an envelope and went over to the owl that was still around. After sending it away she went over the Dem and said So what was those things in the envelope? I didn't get a chance to look at it she smiled a bit.

"That sounds good." she told her. Dem reached into the envelope and pulled out the two other pendents. "They're shape-shifting pendents. Each one represents something about us." she handed one to Lizzie, and one to Shay. "Mine has candy on it." she giggled.

Shaylee read Chalice's letter a couple times, and then took her own pendent. She was confuzed as to what it was and said, Mine has a... dove on it. I guess im peaceful? Shaylee said. She handed it to Dem for her to look at. Turning to Lizzie she said, The letter sounds good. She missed Cha already and was anxious to see her friend again. Hey guys, do these shape shifting pendants change from thing to thing? She asked her friends.

Dem looked at Shay's necklace. "Yea. They change ever once in a while to things that reflect you. Like right now I want candy, so mine has candy on it. I guess right now you being peaceful." she handed it back to her.

Shaylee laughed, Thats intresting, Ive never seen these before. She watched the pendant for a while and than said, Oh look!! Now its a cupcake. As She saw the picture of the cupcake, she realized that she wanted one. After watching it for a while, Shaylee put the pendant on her silver charm bracelet.

Herminny walked into the Gryffindor common room feeing and looking as if she was ready to blow up as she started screaming into her pillow. She could'nt take it anymore, she was terrible at quiddich try outs so she she thinks mabe I should go to beginning flying lesssons even though it is clearly against the rules,stupid,stupid she thought. But she did learn she was only terrible at flying when she had an attitude. She thought I had just come from HOM where I was fuming mad at the professor, mabe if I go to the tryouts tomorrow with a more calm attitude it could help. She was tarting to calm down and felt completely drained as she drifted off to sleep.

"Hey Herminny. how are you? you did really well at Quiddich tryouts!" Lilly said happily

Herminny had'nt fallen into a deep sleep and awoke adruptly hearing one of her freinds upon opening her eyes she recognized as Lilly and got up and turned to her and said, "Awe, thank you, but you were about 10x better, I've never seen a 1st year with quiddich skills like yours, I know you're probably gonna make the team but I doubt I will but it was still fun just to go for it and whatever happens, happens, we'll see".

Lizzie watched her friends examine their gifts, and opened her hand to study hers. It was tiny, silvery, and slightly unfocused around the edges. But as she held it, it slowly started to look more and more like a rose. With a little smile she put it on her necklace along the charms from Roxas and Kairi. The new one stayed in the shape of a rose, and Lizzie sighed quietly. She kept missing people, it was never like everyone was around.. always someone missing.

"um thanks" Lilly said blushing. she really didn't think she was as good as everyone was saying. "i really hope you make the team! it really wouldn't be the same without you" she said and pulled Herminny into a hug.

Herminny accepted the hug, thinking awe she's so nice and modest for a girl so young, she looked back at Lily and said, "thanks, I hope we both make it too.". So do you wanna go over to the sand box, I know of a game we could play there thats a bit less childish then building sand castles", Herminny chuckled a little.

"sure i would love to. i will meet you there" she said

Chalice ran up as fast as she could into teh girls dorm. "Loveys!!!!!!!!!" She cried. "Don't try to touch me, it won't work, I'm not really here. But I found a way to keep in contact, and I've been perfecting it in my few minutes of free time. I'm doing it right now, I call it a spirit journey. You guys just have to wish I was here enough and I can travel to you. But I can't stay long, ten or fifteen minutes at a time at most." she explained quickly. "I don't know when I'll be back for real, so I learned how to do this. I miss you and I'll be here as soon as I can." With that Chalice faded out, she hoped her friends got the message.

Demetria was so excited when she saw Chalice. Totally not listening to the whole 'I'm not here' part, she ran full speed towards her and hit the wall. "Oof!" she rebounded back and on to the floor. "Ouch!" she sat up and rubbed her head as she listened to the rest of Cha's message. "Aw I miss her." she frowned.

Lizzie stopped in the middle of running towards Chalice, hearing her speak. Oh.. she said, looking sad. I guess we'll just have to wait around for her "spirit journeys" then..

"I don't like spirit journeys." she said still rubbing her head. She stood up and went back over to her bed. "They hurt." she giggled a bit.

Jane walked up into the Dorm, searching for her bed. She doesn't really remember which one it was, since she hasn't been sleeping in it alot lately. She mostly just falls asleep in the common room nowadays with all that homework. But she wasn't complaining. She knew it was just to help her with her exams end of this term!! Gahhh!!The Exams!!!!

Jane slumped onto an empty bed which she didn't know whose it was. After checking the trunk at the foot of the bed, she was certain it was hers. She drew the curtains-things around her bed and snuggled under her blanket. She had left her bunny with Christian at the Dumont Cottage last weekend. She felt empty. She felt lost and scared. The bunny made everything go away. But she didn't want to tell Christian that.

She rolled over to the side and sniffled. She missed them both so much, especially at night. Her sobs got a little louder.

Shaylee was right behind Demetira and also ran through the fake Chalice, hoping that the real one was back, hit the wall, triped over her own feet and landed on her face. Ugh. She said compeltely tired of this falling nonsense. Getting up she joined her friends on the bed. Darn, i wish that girl would get here soon, she's making a fool of me even more then I already do. She said smiling.
