Aaron got up the next morning and just lied there thinking about his dream. Gosh, I remember the day the dungeons flood. I was the one who was not worried and Iris was scared, but now it's flipped. Oh my gosh, I completely lost my morals. I have to get over the broom shed incodent and get back on track. Gosh, I need to talk to Iris. He looked under his blankets and saw that he was still in his robes. Oh god. He went over to his trunk and pulled out a new set. He quickly put them on.

When he finished changing, he looked out the window and saw the sun shining bright in the sky. Aaaah, can't wait for warmth. He looked onto the ground and saw the snow was a bit lower than it was yesterday. Woooo!!! He decided to take a walk onto the grounds. He went out the door of the dorm and headed down...

Chris looked up with a grin. "Clifford you know I can't do it for you that would be against the rules. I can help you if you want." he said in an offering manner.

Meh. He did know it was against the rules. He was the Head Boy too, he'd probably get in MORE trouble for letting someone else do his homework. He couldn't do anything. The only thing he was good for was wallowing in self pity.

"Another time.." was all he said as he pulled the blankets tighter around him.

Chris watched Clifford whine more. Ok that was enough. He hated to see people do that.

"Clifford what is wrong? Why are you doing this to yourself?" he asked with a determined tone of voice. "There has to be some bright side to whatever situation you are in, better than just lying in bed all day." Chris didnt count he was lying in bed doing homework.

There were the questions again. Clifford didn't really like Herbology OR homework. He'd sooner talk about them than ... what it was that was bothering him though.

Clearly Chris didn't really believe the cold excuse... BLEH. He couldn't even keep secrets anymore! Why was he useless at EVERYTHING!? [/emo moment]

"There isn't a bright side!" He surprised himself by saying, his words followed by another loud SNIFF. "I - I ... I got dumped."

There. He'd said it.

... he wished he hadn't just said that. Saying it only hurt more. Saying it made it all seem more ... real.

Chris listened quietly as it seemed Clifford may have been opening up. He sure didn't seem to try having a cold anymore.

And then he said those last three words and it hit Chris. He was momentarily lost for words. "Oh, um-" he thought for a moment. "You and Eva-," he thought it better not to say her name. "your girlfriend broke up?" he asked shocked. He closed his Herbology book for this one.

Him and his ... girlfriend?

Clifford couldn't stop the strange wail that seemed to escape and he clung tighter to fart bowl. The bowl seemed to be acting as some sort of teddy bear.. shame it wasn't the most comfy of things.. it was hurting his ribs. Not that he felt it much. Not over everything else he was feeling. Achey.

"She's - she's not.. I don't think... not my girlfriend anymore."

SNIIIIIFF.

Chris made a face that was close to smypathy but also questioning. Was that sound coming from Clifford?

He then looked as the seriously upset Clifford stated the obvious. "Well no I guess she isn't. Was there any reason, that you know of?" he wanted to know what to do for him was kinda drawing a blank.

Clifford REALLY didn't want to think about this.. let alone talk about it. It was hard enough admitting that he and ... and her were ... no more. How was he supposed to talk about... WHY?

He didn't want to. He couldn't.

So he didn't.

Really? Clifford wasn't going to talk to him? Oh well Chris was determined to help him and he wasn't going to give up now!. He leaned back on his pillow and looked at Clifford with a grin, that said Fine in staying.

As he walked into the dormitory with a book open in front of his face, Marcus's eyes were fixed upon the words he was reading. He had just had a shower before he got stuck in this very interesting book about sea creatures, and with wet hair he walked on without noticing the other boys in there. Not until one of his feet hit the end of a bed, he looked up and smiled at the people in there. It was rather quiet in there, but he didn't mind at all. Reading is much easier when it's quiet. Clearing his throat he realised he hadn't spoken to anyone at all today, and said Hey guys, before sitting down at the end of his bed with the book in his lap.

Aaron ran to his trunk to get his chess board. I love this game, I love this game, I lve this game, I LOVE THIS GAME! He then unzipped the trunk and took out his set. It was dusty so he brushed it off. Boy did I miss you. He then did an about face and headed back downstairs.
