Apparently a younger Slytherin girl had caught on to Jack's little glances to Reese, as well, as she was watching the two with a rather amused look. Anna jumped, though, when the girl casted Expelliarmus. Anna pointed her wand towards the merwoman, as well, and called out, "Expelliarmus!" Hopefully a bit of teamwork would take the creature down in no time. Rave caught a glimps of another Gryffindor out of the corner of her eye, the Head girl as a matter of fact. "Nice shot! One of them's gotta hit." she said with an approving nod to the older girl.
With a quick glance towards the field of battle, she saw the coast was clear and relaxed her pose a little. "I'm Rave, and you are?" she asked with a curious look on her face. Quote:

Where were those Grindylows? As she finally made it over to her friends, she looked at the merperson Anna and the Slytherin girl had shot a spell at. Not really minding that she had said she wasn't going to fight unless they needed her, she pointed her wand at the same merwoman the two girls had shot at. "Expelliarmus," she called out. 'With three shots, theres no way we can miss.' Rave thought with a firm nod. She looked at the other girl with a non-nasty smirk. "Nice." was all she said. | |

Unforgivable indeed! He agreed with Bunzface, moving away from the Gryffindor -- all of a sudden terrified of being on THIS side of the battle.

Oh that can't be good.
Wading her way back over towards where the voice had come from,Sarah disarmed a couple of persistant mermen on the way.Boy they didn't give up did they?! Stupid creatures.
Finally she got to the boy who had spoken,stood right next to Professor Bunbury.*gulp* "Uhhh this may sound like a stupid question," she began,flailing her arms out to the side as she began to loose her balance in the water. "But won't that fry US as well as them? I mean using the water to amplify it....would that not be a bad thing for us?" After all she knew that water and electricity didn't mix,but obviously that was the whole point of the boy's plan.What she didn't know was how it would affect everything around the target.

Headmaster? Eeek. Nikita shot one last Expelliarmus at a nearby Merperson, not even looking to see if she had hit her mark. The Headmaster was sure to know what to do. He would get them out of this mess.
And the sooner he did so the better. Water had long ago soaked her shoes and socks and traveled up the hems of her robes. The water line on her clothes stopped just under her Slytherin badge. It was cold, and Nikita noticed her teeth chattering; she clamped her mouth tight to stop them.

Rave jumped as the gargoyle next to her suddenly moved. She breathed easy when she saw who it was and went to step out of the headmaster's way. Unfortunately, due to all the water, she tripped and disappeared under the water for a few moments.

A key?" he asked confusingly, though if he could speak more Mermish, this would have been A LOT more easier. "They're saying something about a key on their leader's neck." Key? Still with his wand pointed out at them, he wondered.

Until they started shrieking again, Nikita's ears had forgotten the painful sound of Mermish. Trying to cast spells and cover her ears was impossible.
Some of the students seemed to be able to translate this. Now that was a feat she hoped never to accomplish. The amount of time it would take listening to ear-splitting screeches simply was not worth it.
"Expelliarmus!" she shouted, free hand clapped over an ear.

No, not the screeching again! Grinding his teeth William cast anoher disarming charm at the nearest merperson standing tall, or as tall as a shot second year could stand. his head was beginning to pound now, it felt like their voices were inside his head, not outside of it! Wand held high he shook his had clearing it before shouting" Expelliarmus!" again, this time aiming for the merwomen who decided to screech even louder.

Her mind wandered back to the day at the Library where Anna told her the story about Aorn-what ever his name is and how he locked his sister up. Oh my. That key must be the key that would unlock/free the Princess. She looked over at the Headmaster when he appeared and started to ask Cam some question. Yeah. Where WAS the chap with the key around his neck? She looked back at Cam, waiting to see what he would say.

"We must not fail..." Jule said while covering her ears from the noise. "Okay..? Then why would they want the headmaster for?" she said. She remember when her blessed grandfather taught her mermish talk. No wonder she had bad hearing now. She still kept her wand pointed at them while covering an ear. These merpeople were definitely going to make them all deaf.
