Jule walked around the corridor. She wondered where all her friends were again. Not even Divad was around. She took out her mirror and noticed her eyes were still gray and haven't changed since she was at the lake. Sighing, she kept walking. Jule started playing around with her ring. Heather had given it to her for her 5th birthday. She always wore it on her thumb and never took it off. She almost cried but decided against it. No one was around to co sole her so she just subsided her feelings...

Lucy walked down the corridor, her book bag slung over her right shoulder. Inside were her usual things. Bits of parchment, quills, bottles of different colored inks, a bar of chocolate. She looked around and noticed another girl. She seemed distressed about something, playing around with the ring on her thumb.

Lucy was on her way to the library, but decided that a small detour to console someone wouldn't take to long. And if it did, she would just have drag the girl along with her to book filled room. The curly brown haired, green eyed girl walked over to the other and smiled. "Um hi, I'm Lucy. You seem a little upset about something. Is there anything I can do help?"

Miles caught himself thinking about this last term. It had only just begun but it was slowly ending at the same time. He really didn't want it to, it was his last term EVER, and it was seriously going to be painful on the last day when he had to say goodbye to the people who weren't leaving. People like Hugo, Evie and Terry, they were his life, and they were all a year younger than him. When Miles was younger, he had never thought about it being bad and it would affect seeing each other, but now that he was leaving and they weren't, it felt horrible. He moped down some random corridor with his hands in his pockets.

But it just so happened that Evie, Hugo and Terry were here too, moping. Yey!

"DUDES!" Miles beamed as he quickened his speed and found himself wrapping his arms around the three of them. "EEK! I'm so happy to see you! I dun wanna leave!" He had a little sniffle before letting go. "Sylvia's so lucky that she gets to come here next term. I'll be ... an a-adult." He stuttered on the last word. He didn't want to grow up!

Whit skipped down the corridor, trying to decide whether or not she wanted to go into the library or not. She really really had to do her homework,and soon but she wasn't exactly in the mood for it. "Fanta, fanta,donchoo wanna fanta?" she sang out loud but not too loud. Whit stopped skipping. What to do now?

He was making his way toward the library when suddenly he aw a crazy girl seemingly jump at him out of nowhere while singing this strange song in a language that he couldn't understand.

He quickly stepped away from her and into safety.

Whit heard, rather than saw, someone move away from her. "Oops." She hadn't meant to scare anyone....or freak anyone out. "My bad!" she announced to the guy who had moved out of her way. Who he was, she had absolutely no idea. Maybe she could make a new friend! She didn't have enough guy friends anyways. She would just have to make sure that he didn't think she was crazy or anything. Whit took a small step closer to him and waved, "Hello!" she said with a nice big smile.

Well, at least she was being friendly now. And she stopped singing in that weird language. Even though she had a nice voice.

Still slightly surprised due to her enthusiasm, he weakly smiled back at her and said, "hey there. I'm Torin."

'Yaaaay!' If he thought she was weird, he wasn't showing it ALL that much. "Hello Torin, I'm Whitney, it's nice to meet you." Now she really wanted to some Fanta. That sounded really great. Maybe this Torin person would want some too? Cute boys always liked good soda's right? "Want a fanta?"

"Nice to meet you, Whit." Now this was better. She wasn't freaking him out so much. Though he was confused as to how the girl could be so hyper in the first place. Did she just down a while pot of coffee or something?

"What's a Fanta?" Why was she asking him about fantas?

Whit felt like shaking this boy crazy. How did he not know what Fanta was? It was only one of the bestest soda's out there. Even though other drinks were better. "Umm....seriously?" she asked, trying hard not to sound rude.

Well, it sure was a privilege to inform someone like Torin was Fanta was. "Fanta is...um...well it's a drink. A type of soda I guess?" That was a horrible explanation. "It's really good and....fruity-ish." she added nodding in agreement to what she said.

He blushed a little as she looked at him like he was insane. But he was new to this place. He never had Fanta in Greece.

"Oh, it's soda. Sure, I'll have some." This girl was friendly when you got past the hyperness.

It seemed Torin was warming up to her. Perfect! 'I's gots a new fre-end.' This was great. Sure, he probably didn't consider her a friend...yet. But in time he would. Everyone loved Whit...right? Right.

"Oh um....well...I don't HAVE any but....I can ask my mom to send me some...somehow?" Okay,that sounded kind of bad. That was like teasing a dog. Offer them something and then snatch it back? Boo! "I have chocolate though?" Whit pulled out a chocolate frog from her bag and handed it to him. She hadn't been planning on eating it so hopefully he would. If not she'd either send it to Lima or give it to Reese,whichever came first. "So...Huffie,what year are you in?" Huffie, she always liked that abbreviation for Hufflepuff. Hopefully he didn't mind her calling him that.

He raised his brow at her. Why was she offering something she didn't even have in the first place? Weird... "Um, that's okay. I'll just take some chocolate."

He smiled, starting to feel a bit more comfortable. "I'm in 4th Year. You?" He would have judged her to be a 3rd Year.

"Okay!" she replied with a big smile. Whit handed Torin the chocolate frog, and sat down on the floor, wondering if he wouldn't mind getting his pants just a tiny bit dirty.

A fourth year? "Really?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. "I would've thought you were at least a fifth year. That's just me though." Whit wouldn't have minded looking older than thirteen,that was for sure. "I'm a third year...yup yup!" 'Yaaay!' she thought sarcastically. When in the WORLD would she be a sixth or seventh year?

Jule turned to see a Slytherin girl trying to console her.
"Its okay. I'm better now." she smiled. "Im Jule. It's nice to meet you."

Aly skipped down the hallway, her bag thumping against her side. Once she was halfway down the corridor, she stopped abruptly, skidding a foot or two. She giggled and leaned against the wall. What was wrong with her today? She had no idea, but she liked it.

She slid down the wall and plopped down on the ground. I wonder what he's doing, She thought to herself, a smile appearing on her face. She pulled some chocolate covered pretzels out of her bag and started to munch on them.

Jude wandered down a corridor, not really looking for anything in particular, but more of just exploring the castle to see if there was any place he hadn't been yet. He peeked down an adjacent corridor, one random one up on the 4th floor. Had he been down this one yet? He didn't think so, so he began to wander down this one, admiring the tapestries on the wall when he tripped over something and nearly fell.

Looking to see what he tripped on, he realized it was a shoe. His eyes moved up to the face of whom he tripped on, and his face lit up.

"ALEHH!!!!" he said, leaping down to the floor to sit next to her.

Aly leaned her head back against the wall and closed her eyes. She was just starting to relax when she felt something hit her foot. "Whaa?" She asked, opening up her eyes.

She smiled as soon as she saw who it was and burst into giggles when he screamed her name. "Heeeey Jude." She turned towards him and her eyes lit up. "That reminds me of a sonnnng!!"

Jude smiled and wiggled against her. She was warm, and looking very happy. That made him happy, and it seemed like their combined happiness was radiating in a big bubble around them. "How are yeh?" he asked, giggling as she spoke about a song. "A song, aye? Which one's tha'?" he asked, knowing very well which song she was talking about, but just seeing where she was going with this one.

"I'm better now." She said, poking his shoulder gently. "Where has you beeeen? I've been looking all over for you." She sighed and pouted. "Why couldn't Slytherins and Hufflepuffs be put together."

"You don't know which song I'm thinking about? You must know! Everyone knows. It's 'Hey Jude' by The Beatles." She giggled and cleared her throat. "I shall sing some of it for you."

"Hey Jude, don't make it bad.
Take a sad song and make it better.
Remember to let her into your heart,
Then you can start to make it better."

"Hey Jude, don't be afraid.
You were made to go out and get her.

Then you begin to make it better."

She stopped after those verses and smiled at him again. "Do you know the song now?"

Jude grinned as she sang, and nodded, "Oi knew i' a'fore, bu' Oi jus' though' yeh'd loike ta tell... er... sing i' ta me anehways..." he said giggling, a bit surprised she actually did. He was going to start singing along with her, but she stopped. Sighing, he asked, "Oi've been... aroun'... Whoy? Where've YOU been?" he asked, reaching over to grabby hands at her hand.

Wiggling her fingers between his and just generally playing with her hand, he said "Yeh Oi know! When da dungoons was all floode' an' all, Oi was 'opin' we'd mehbeh ge' pu' tagethah, bu' obsviously i' din' 'appen..." he said, making a small unhappy face.

She giggled at the grabby hands. "You're silly, Jude." She watched him while he played with her hand and nodded. "I hoped so too, but no. I get stuck with the Ravenclaws. I don't know anyone there. I barely know anyone in my own house. You're my bestest friend and I wish that we weren't separated."

She sighed and leaned her head back against the wall again. "Did you really miss me while I was gone?" She asked, turning to look at him.

Jude sighed and nodded, "Oi know... Oi ain' realleh go' maneh frien's in mah own 'ouse, eithah... Onleh a few." Jude listened, and blushed at Aly. He was really her best friend? Aww...

Listening her her speak, Jude smiled and nodded, "O' course Oi did!" He was still holding onto her hand, so he raised it and kissed it a little, "Aleh Oi thoin' yer mah bests frien' too an' Oi always miss ya when we'ah no' tugethah!" he said, rather matter-of-factly.

"Thanks," he said as he accepted the chocolate. This was the second time that I girl had given him one of these. Interesting in a way. Sorta. He joined her on the floor.

"Yes, Fourth. Do I really look that much older?" He chuckled. "Well, I would have pegged you for a Second Year, so I guess we were both off," he added, smiling.

Peter strolled along the corridor, deep in thought. He had nothing on his mind in particular...yet everything all at once. He missed his old common room, he hated the constant waiting for a Ravenclaw to help him answer the portrait questions, and he missed his best friend Lo, yet he was glad to be away from her. He was hungry and awake...and frustrated. But he wasn't sure why he was frustrated and was therefore more frustrated.

He chuckled to himself as he pulled up the sleeve of his plaid shirt and stuffed one hand in his jean pocket, the other ruffling his hair as he shuffled his feet.
