Sigh. Today's project: The Fourth Floor. After leaving the staircases for the fourth floor corridor, Ari paused. Leaning slightly against the left wall, she 'Reset her counter'. White cane gripped in her right hand, she began walking and counting, tapping the cane lightly to either side of her, "seven...ten....thirteen..." There were other people in the corridoe, but Ari gave no notice. She had counted 52 paces before coming to the end of the corridor. Stepping to the other side of the corridor (four steps), she began her way back. Just a few steps back--and she had found the entrance to the library...Mental Note: Library: Fourth Floor, Right side, 47 Steps... After the pause, Ari continued to make her way down the corridor, noting the several different voices. |

Oh wow, thank Merlin this one wasn't full of herself. Not. I am Sarah Jessica Winchester and I don't like people walking into me. Well, duh. Who liked people walking into them? As the girl, sorry, Sarah Jessica Winchester started glaring at her with a slightly dangerous twinkle in her eyes Nancy simply looked at her with her eyebrows raised. She still wanted Nancy to apologize?! Casually leaning against the nearest wall Nancy shrugged with a smirk tugging at the corner of her lips at the girl's request, which she repeated several times at the arrival of a boy (Was it her boyfriend?!). "I am not going to apologize. Got that? I am not." Then she added with a nod towards the boy, "And now listen to your little boyfriend there and leave." This whole silly confrontation was slowly getting on her nerves. |
"Hey don't bring me into this, this is between you and Sarah." Brant blushing as she said "your boyfriend" which made him smile from ear to ear." and you don't need to be rude all she wants is for you to say your sorry and this can all end." sitting down by the nearest wall watching the action with front row seats!. |
Nancy now turned her gaze at Sarah Jessica Winchester's boyfriend or whoever he was as the boy spoke up, defending the irritating girl even though he'd just asked to be kept out of their little dispute. Cocking her head slightly to the side the 14 year old smirked broadly at the boy as she replied, "Oh, I thought you wanted us to keep you out of this. Why are you interfering then by justifying her-" At this she gestured into Sarah Jessica Winchester's direction. "-actions? Oh, and just for the record, I am not going to apologize because I didn't do anything wrong. She was the one who almost tackled me to the ground." Okay, that probably was a slight bit exaggerated but whatever. How could those little students be that irritating?! |

With her bag slung well over her shoulder, Lasca made her way to the fourth floor. She was hoping to get into the library and study up some. Arithmancy seemed to be a subject that well eluded her, however she was optimistic about finding a book that would bridge the gap in her understanding. The young Ravenclaw was moving along swiftly when she turned a corner only to encounter some sort of confrontation. Unsure of how to procede, Lasca froze where she was. Hmmm. |
Colleee and Sammeh Hugo was...miserable. And had a cold - stupid flood thingy! Sniffling due to tears and cold, he shuffled along the fourth floor corridor. He'd practically been dead the last few weeks; he felt as though he hadn't been back to school at all! Well...he hadn't really. He'd been a wandering being of depression, flittering about with a dark cloud over his Lettie! Terry! The seemingly impossible thing of a smile stretched across Hugo's gaunt and pale face, and he quickened his pace towards them. "Lettie! Terry!" He cried, throwing his arms around them both, breathless at how happy he was to see them, to hold them. He needed his friends at a time like this; he needed goodbyes. "Guys," he murmered, "I've got something to tell you." He looked up at them both, his eyes red and sore. |

It was HUGO! As soon as he lets go of me, he's getting smacked too. She thought, just before she got a good look at him, and heard what he had said. Something was wrong, she could feel it in the pit of her stomach. "Hugo." she started slowly, feeling as if she had just stepped onto a frozen pond, sure that the bottom would fall through at any second. "What's wrong?" she asked, her blue eyes searching his, "Are you sick?" Oh no. She felt the uneasy feeling coming back quickly, the one Terry had helped to go away. Quickly, she shot her eyes up at the Gryffindor, if she fainted or something, he had better catch her, or else.... well.... she'd go after his OTHER arm. |

The words fell from Hugo's lips like stone, landing with a SMACK in the air and ringing in his ears. Only now was it seemingly real to him...he was leaving. A lump exploded in his throat, blocking his airway and unabling him to speak for a moment. When he began to breathe normally again, his eyes filled with tears. "I'm so sorry I didn't tell you earlier," he croaked, gulping madly like a fish out of water. It hurt to think of it, to talk of it... anything to do with it. But he had to tell them, of course he did; they were his best friends. And Miles...where was Miles? Miles needed to be there, he needed Miles. He needed them. All of them. "Lettie...Terry...Cressi is in St Mungo's. She had an accident and they don't know if she'll live. I have to leave school and help mum. I have to," Hugo choked, eyes shimmering with tears. Ughh. This hurt. Badly. |
Cayden was walking along the fourth floor as he was thinking about going to the library to check out a book. It would give him something to do other then to hear people breathing in and out rather loudly during the night. He had his bag over as he heard someone choking or something as he decided to pass on buy. Weird. He moved along as he walked down the hallway. He should count the stones in the hallways on his way back. |
Christian hurried up to the fourth floor, he was thinking about checking out a book when he thought he heard the strangest sound. "What is that sound?" He murmurred to himself. He looked up and saw this guy that was as pale as he is walking nearby. "Hey man." He said kindly. |
Cayden looked over at someone who looked a little younger then he was."Im not really sure." he smiled at the guy as he could figure it out if he really wanted too."Hey." he looked over at him as he didnt know who he was."Cayden blood." he said as he gave him a smile. At least he wasnt a ravenclaw. He didnt seem to be having very much luck with them lately." Where are you heading?" he asked him curiously. |
Naomi walked up to the fourth floor and looked around. She was hending to the library to do what she does best, study. Then she heard something. She looked around the corner and saw the two boys talking, one of them was the boy she talked to earlier in the great hall, Christian she believed that was his name, and then a slytherian. She knew what had happened in the dungeon and desided to see if he needed anything. "Hi Christian!" Naomi said walking over to them. "Hi my name is Naomi." She said to the Slytherian. |
I was thinking of going to the Library. "I'm new around here just transferred from Drumstrang." He said softly. "Christian MacLeod." He introduced himself. So Cayden you're in Slytherin right?" He asked. "Ive not made many friends yet, care to hang out?" "Hi Naomi How are you?" He smiled. |
"Good" Naomi said with a smile. " How are you? You transfered from Drumstrang? Why?" |

"ok well let me know if you do need anything?" Naomi said with a smile. "Is everything else alright?" It seemed that Cayden had a lot of things on his plate and he was getting stressed out over it. |
"To be honest I like Hogwarts better already." He smiled softly. "I'm not really a spots kinda guy I am more a music person." He smiled. |
