Caroline, with not inconsiderable effort, laid Neo down on the floor. This was her punishment for trying to be the Rambo of Healers. Dead weight.

Neo wasn't dead of course, he just couldn't help himself.

"Told you it would come to this if you didn't co-operate." Cari uncorked the phial, opened Neo's mouth and poured it, very slowly and carefully, so as not to choke him, down his throat. The steam coming out his ears probably didn't make him happy, but it pleased her.

"I'm going to levitate you back down to the Great Hall, where I can give you a potion for your back. Sorry about that by the way."

The rigidity of a body bind was probably the best thing for him right now, to be honest.

"Mobilicorpus" she said, raising her wand and Neo's body with it, she collected his shoes and headed back down to the Great Hall.

Oh sweet heavens above.

It was probably a good thing he couldn't move A THING. A very good thing. As the pepper up potion slid down his throat, he couldn't help but practically yell inside his head. With a few curses thrown in, too. When it was all over with, he could feel his body being levitated and transported, he saying something about "fixing".

Joy.

"I... have no idea," Copernicus glanced around, finally able to focus on something other than his own feelings. The floor was wet, but it certainly wasn't flooding...

He offered a hand up to Karma with the hand that hadn't just punched a wall, noting how gingerly she was moving. "How about we go see the nurse? I'll escort you."

Copernicus didn't have time to answer before people were running past. Professor people. "I wouldn't be so sure, Abby. Perhaps that was... running for their lives? Maybe something IS happening."

"I wonder if there could be a problem with the wards that protect the castle. Professor Kazimeriz's office was very damp, damper than normal for the dungeon. Would you like me to help get your friend to the hospital wing?" Abby wonders what could be flooding the dungeon. The only thing she can think of is the lake. Shouldn't it equalize by the time the water gets the ground floor? Then it dawns on her that the Hufflepuff Common Room and domintories are on the kitchen level.

While she was still on the ground, she noticed the professors chasing around. My, everyone was acting weird lately. First, no Headmaster, and the Nurse still hasn't shown up... And now, two grown adults are chasing each other.

Karma snickered slightly at the boy. He wasn't showing his real age, and she wondered a moment how old this kid really was. Especially when his voice cracked at trying to be deep. Yep, he hadn't finished his puberty yet.

"Same here..." Karma said, responding to the people talking about the flooding.

"I was minding my own business, when someone was talking about the dungeons flooding," she said, taking Cope's hand. "And so, I came to investigate to see others going to their common rooms who were wet. Then, I fell on my butt down here, and you all got to see my most graceful move yet."

She turned to the other girl that Cope adressed as Abby. Hmm, familiar face. Where had she seen her before?

"It just happened. I don't think they've had time to think, what with the Headmaster missing and all..."

Gulp. Cope mentioned the nurse. Karma wasn't afraid of many things, but when it came to doctors, that was something else. She never liked going to them much, but if she was in pain...

"Uhh, nurse?" Karma said, voice cracking slightly.

"I'm not well versed in the wards, to be honest," Copernicus shrugged. "But I think the professors are capable of handling these issues. I'm more concerned about classes and studying for my NEWTs."

"Yes, the nurse. Don't even try to protest it," Cope held onto her hand extra tightly. "I won't let the big bad lady with the medicines hurt you, but we both ought to get checked out. How's your shoulder feeling?" His hand was starting to throb, and Cope wasn't above throwing Karma over his shoulder to get up to the infirmary.

"You know there's more to life than studying and NEWTS..." and pining over Plymouth's girlfriend, but Abby didn't say that to Copernicus. She does notice his hand. It's turning purple. "I think you'll both need help getting to the hospital wing. Besides I've been looking for an excuse to meet the new Healer Intern. I've been considering the Healer program at St. Mungo's, and I'd like to talk to her. You know get her opinions on it and healing in general." Abby turns to Copernicus's friend. "Can you walk on your own?"

Not the nurse. Anything but the nurse. And now he was getting smart with her. What in the world... Copernicus, being a smart aleck? She might have to go to the Hospital Wing now, for almost having a heart attack.

He slightly favored his other hand while he held onto hers, and she noticed that. It wasn't looking so well, and she frowned at it.

"It hurts," she said, sighing. Why lie? "Your hand doesn't look so well though either."

Karma sighed. She had a feeling of what Abby was going to say, with Cope's mind being on other things. Cela. That was one thing that she would have to work on with him, for sure.

"Yeah, I should be able to..." she said. "I just, might pass out on the way. I don't like medicinal things."

Way to be needy, Karma, way to be needy.

Abby notices the way this girl is looking at Copernicus. Great! another fan girl! How can someone who is so out of touch with the real world attract so many needy girls. You're wasting your time. The guy only has eyes for the forbidden fruit he can't have. "You lucky dog. My mom's a healer. I'm not allowed to be squimish about anything to do with healing. Parents can be such pains. Shall we be off Copernicus before your friend changes her mind again." If this girl swoons, I'm going to be sick too. Talk about obvious. Of course she could strip down to her birthday suit and Copernicus wouldn't notice. Poor guy, he's got it bad.

"There's not, actually," Copernicus laughed. "You have the rest of your life resting on how you perform for seven short years, and then you can explore the whole wide world afterward. It seems a fair trade off to me, actually. You're welcome to come if you want, but I think I can get Karma up there without assistance."

"Bruised at least, but it might be broken," he tried to flex his fingers and cringed. "I'm a royal idiot. I hope I've just bruised it." Why in the world had he thought wall punching was a good idea?

"I'll help you, Karma. No worries," he offered his arm to her.

Karma didn't like the way this girl seemed to be assessing her. Copernicus was her friend, whom she cared for. It seemed almost as if this girl didn't believe that, or didn't want to believe that.

No need to worry about that now, as her shoulder was hurting, and she was worried about Cope's hand.

Idiot.

"Yeah, you are an idiot," Karma said, taking his arm. "Next time I'll conjure something for you to punch INSTEAD of the wall, okay?"

She smiled to let him know that she didn't really think he was an idiot. Well, I mean, he was slightly. But he was a guy. And that's what guys did.

"I hate hospitals, and doctors, and anything else of the sort," she muttered under her breath.

"You've assessed me correctly," Copernicus waved at Abby, not telling her NOT to come but letting her know he figured they had things under control. "We'll play a game to take your mind off the whole... medical field..."

Copernicus fell silent as they walked. "Ah. Do you know any games?"

Karma grumbled slightly as she began to walk with Cope. Games, really? She was going to the nurse, with cold hands, and germs, and sick people.

"Weeeell," she said. "Not off the top of my head, no. We could do that. OR..."

Karma snickered.

"I could ask you why you punched the wall in the first place."

She followed Cope to the stairs, trying to go, but still resisting.

Cayden walked with Mari as he took her bag from her. He put it over his shoulder with his own bag as he could barely tell their was anything in them. He wasnt sure really how to ask this, yet again. He was unsure really how she put up with a few things, but it wasnt really anything he could control."Are you alright?" he asked her as he then thought for a moment."Do you always let her get away with things?" he asked as Elizabeth got away with more things then Kayla ever did with him.

Mariska let Cayden take her book bag from her, not sure why he felt a need to carry it for her since she was completely capable of doing so herself. Still, it was sort of cute of him to do that for her at all. She walked next to him and shrugged when he asked her if she was alright. " I'm okay, yes..." She trailed off, letting the why part of her sentence go unsaid. Then she looked uncomfortable when he spoke again. " Well...no," She began. She thought about it a little more and she spoke quietly as she continued." I didn't expect anyone to feel sorry for me after this, and I put Elizabeth in a very awkward position this summer." She said tactfully. " And why did you tell her that she had to choose between me or Robert? I mean, by you doing that I could have lost the only friend I've got left here. I'm glad you said something to her, but I didn't want you to tell her to be my friend or else. Half of all this mess is my fault to begin with so she doesn't need any added pressure having to do with ultimatums." She said, still walking with him even as she spoke at length.

He snickered a little as she said that she didnt let her get away with everything, even though he could of said otherwise. When she asked him as he shrugged a little." Because I dont want to see you keep getting hurt. We both know she'll keep doing it. You said so yourself. And I told her that if all she was going to do is hurt you and not be your friend then she should stop now." He knew she had only proven his point so far. He sighed a little as he looked at her." Im just worried about you. I dont want you to get hurt." he told her as he shrugged."Do want you want with it." he told her as she knew his thoughts on the matter.

Mari put her arms around herself as Cayden answered her questions, knowing that in a way he was right. " I know you don't. I just..I don't know why you had to make her cry," She said with a slightly angry expression. " I know how you can get. You didn't have to hurt her feelings you know, and I wish you would have let me talk to her first about it." She admitted with a frustrated sigh. She couldn't be mad at either of them really; She had put Cayden through more than he deserved last term, and now she had put Elizabeth into the awkward position of being the one person left connected to both her and Robert. " I just wish everything would be easier, it's like this year is destined to be horrible, so far." She said .

" I didnt mean to make her cry. It's not my fault I pointed out her flaw in a relationship. Humans are more touchy then I remember." he added as he shrugged." It wasnt suppose to happen that way. You know how I can get? What exactly is that meaning? I told her what I thought of her. Its called being honest." He was wondering what exactly she had meant by that, but he was sure it was nothing in his favor." You talk to her?" he asked her as he snickered." Im sure that would of been a sight to see." he was still walking with her as his thoughts ran though the idea. Mari talking to Elizabeth how she felt." Do what you want, but you know I dont care for her. When she keeps hurting you over and over again dont bother me with it. I told you she'll keep doing it because you seem to leave out the honest fact that you dont believe she's your friend anymore. Try that one on her and come back to me." he told her as she seemed to have forgotten the simple fact. The world would end for so many of them and yet they will remain the same.

He stopped for a second as he looked at her." Im sorry. You have to realize it frustrates me. I dont understand this. I wont say anything about it again. At least for this day." he added as he had a feeling at some point in time he'll come up with another comment."You have more patience then I do." He looked around as he had forgotten where he was going." Where are we going again?"

Mari shook her head when Cayden said all he had done was be honest with Elizabeth. " I mean that you can be very...hurtful with your words sometimes." She said simply. She stopped walking and listened to him speak, giving him a slightly sarcastic glance when he said he would have liked to see her talk to Elizabeth. " I have to have someone to talk, don't I?" She said in a quiet voice. She didn't know what to tell him because on some level she knew he was right yet she also knew that Elizabeth was trying to maintain two friendships she valued; It wasn't her fault that Mari had chosen Cayden, that Mari had hurt Robert. She gave her friend that much. " No," She said firmly when Cayden said that she wouldn't admit that Elizabeth wasn't her friend. " She's my friend. If she wasn't, she wouldn't even talk to me after what happened. She's just having difficulty adjusting to this and I can't blame her." She wrapped her arms around herself more and moved to lean against a wall.

She looked away from him until he apologized and then she looked at him again. " I know it bothers you but thank you for not saying anything else right now." She moved off the wall as he spoke and she laughed a little. " I do now. Before? Not so much." She said honestly. " I'm either going soft or growing up , not quite sure which." She said with a slight smile. " I'm not sure...I just started walking. Is there anywhere you'd like to go?" She asked, reaching for his hand after a moment and looking up at him.

When she said she had to find someone to talk too. She was right. He would have to learn to do the same. He guessed she should let liz amuse her until the time came for them to part. He let her finish talking about how she was her friend as it was taking everything he had to not say anything. He wasnt suppose to say anything. He pulled out a candy from his pocket as he undid the wrapper. He stuck it into his mouth so he could keep it closed.

When she asked if their was any place he would like to go he shook his head at her." No particularly. It needs to rain." he told her as it would be nice to go outside again." I wondered what the forecast is for this week." he moved towards the window as it seemed like it was heading in that direction. Hopefully." Probably best if we stay inside." he shrugged at her as he returned a question at her." where would you like to go?"

Mari watched as Cayden didn't say anything but simply took out a candy and ate it. She could smell it, but she didn't ask for one...and she could tell he wanted to say more but wasn't. At least he was staying quiet for now, she thought. She thought when he started talking about the rain, about wanting to go outside and she shrugged when he asked her where she would want to go. " I don't really know. We could just wander around aimlessly, see what happens." She said with a little shrug. " Or we could go sit in the courtyard for a little bit. That's not too far outside, but it's outside." She said, smiling a little as she suggested it.

He smiled at her as she had suggested that they wander around to see if they ended up anywhere, but yet she wanted to go to the courtyard. He knew he could of picked wandering around, but they would of somehow found their way to the courtyard."Courtyard then." It wasnt like he had any other sort of plans." Hopefully It's not a popular area." he said as he knew she was having trouble being around people. He was use to being sociable by now, but he knew she hadnt had as much time as he had. She would get it eventually."Come on. Let's go." he told her as he lead her off towards the Courtyard.

Shana looked around and gripped her letter in her hands.She needed to bring it with her,you know just incase Reese denined sending her any letter.She had proof.She smiled to herself and looked around for Reese,Failing to find her she leant back and leaned against a wall.Comfy.

Leaving the Astronomy Tower, Reese scurried down to the first floor corridor. She was running late! Really late. She got caught up with her Care of Magical Creature homework, she totally forgot about Shana, who was suppose to be waiting for her.

Finally making it to the corridor, Reese stopped walking and looked around. where was Shana? Dude, that girl BETTER be here. She started down the corridor again, looking back and forth trying to find... "Shana?" She said, spotting a little person leaning against the wall. She walked closer and noticed that it was, in fact, Shana. "There you are," she added.

Okay, now to business.

"Shana, about what happened at the lake. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have went ballistic on you. I just don't like being bugged into stuff. I didn't want to tell you about me and Cam and, you know, it was YOUR choice to tell me and Jake and you. I wouldn't have bugged you into telling me," she said, trying to fit in everything she wanted to say before the girl spoke, "So, for the fifth time, I'm sorry. Next time, just don't bug me into stuff. I will tell you if I think it necessary for you to know."

Shana smiled.Here I am (?) Hii. she smiled and shook her head.First of all.You only said sorry twice not five times.Second,I didn't want to tell you about Jake.Buuut I felt I owed you the fact to know.Obliviously You didn't feel the same way.She scoffed.Hmph! Shana flicked her hair and sighed.She turned slightly away from Reese and clunched the Letter in her hand.Why did you really want me to come here ? she raised her eyebrow.Was there a real reason ? She didn't think Reese was the type of person who'd write letters asking someone to meet her just to say sorry.
