Jane stopped crying and got really thirsty. She felt a little dizzy. She didn't want to let go of Christian. This moment was good. They were together, at least. She closed her eyes and dried her tears. She could feel her sleeve getting wet and cold. She held on to the end of her sleeves. She felt a little shiver running down her spine. She tried to ignore it. |
Christian Held her tight and cried on her shoulder. |
Jane let him cry. He needed to let it all out if he wanted to concentrate on classes. They still had that little pact. Gryffindor for the house cup! "Let it out, love,"she said as she patted him on the back a little while she hugged him with the other arm. She then broke the hug, fearing any prefects might patrol that spot. "Prefects,"she warned him gently. She held his hand tight. |
"Why didn't the good memories work Jane? Why does it have to be what I most want to forget that is to be stuck in my head forever?" |
"I...can't answer that. Only you can,"Jane told him honestly. She didn't even know how she came up with that theory that terrible thoughts might counter that voice inside his head. It was just an odd idea. Now, she wished she hadn't thought of it. She was getting colder and her hand gripped his warm one tighter. She leaned her head back on the wall, not taking her eyes off him. |
"I don't understand what's happening to me." he whispered scared. |
"I don't either, love,"she told him. She really had no idea why he had his past suddenly jump up on him. She wouldn't wish that on anyone. Not even herself. She didn't want to have to go through losing William everyday, like she had, just last term and the years before that. "Do you really have to go back with Professor Dumont today?"Jane asked with a frown. She didn't want to have to leave him today. |
"I have to Jane, Mother will worry if I don't." He whispered softly |
"I just wished I could go with you,"she said with another frown. "I don't want to leave you tonight. Ever,"she continued. |
"I love you Jane I want you to come too." |
Hollie Vanessa sighed as she walked along the first floor corridor, her metallic shoes still squeaking a little bit. They were really never going to be the same, not after they had been swamped in all the icky lake water. She cringed as she walked, she had really liked those shoes too, at least Dominic had saved all her other ones too, so at least she had those. Although all her nice stylish clothes were in the flood still. Walking slowly Vanessa smiled anyway. There was no point worrying about it really. |
Hope you don't mind. =] Quote:

Jane dreamt about her twin, Denver. He was all alone in the painting room, painting a portrait of himself and Jane. He was saying: Oh, Louise. Are you sure you're alright there by yourself? I got your letter. Don't push him away. Be strong and you will pull through. That sounded more like Denver relaying his thoughts to her than a dream. She could hear herself saying to Denver: Oh, Denver. I hope I'm strong enough. He's my eternal sunshine, my love, my everything. Do stay with me, brother. Don't leave me. Only, she was saying that out loud without realizing she was sleep-talking. |
sorry I've taken so long. =/ Quote:
It just so happened that Miles was walking on the same corridor at the same time as his beloved girlfriend. He loved how small the world was, in reality. He grinned as he saw her, although she looked a little upset. "Wazzup with your shoes?" The squeaking sounded like nails on chalkboard, EEEK! Miles walked over to Vannie and gave a long hug, and a little support just in case she fell over in those heels. Quote:

"I'm fine." Vanessa nodded, smiling at the girl. "Are you?" She asked, as she turned to look at who had put there arms around her, and stopped her from falling over. Although she did have an idea as she had heard someone call her name. Quote:
"I lost all my school books....Miles I need them!" She sighed, ahh well nothing she could do really. |

Oh. But she needed her school books. "Well ... You can sit with me in EVERY lesson then, so we can share." Miles smiled down at her, she'd have to get her own parchment though, bless her little cotton socks. |
Lizzie felt how her legs wouldn't carry her any longer, so in the middle of walking down a corridor she decided she needed to sit down for a while and just take some deep breaths. She was kinda sad today, but it's not every day that you break up with someone.. Sighing she sat down, leaning against the wall as she closed her eyes for a while. Today was totally not her day. |
Just as he got back inside after running after dinner, Marcus hurried along a corridor (it was first floor, right?) with only one thing in his mind, bed. As always he was tired, and didn't look where he was walking. One second his eyes were on one of the stairs in the end of the corridor, the next second he felt something against his foot and he fell head first forward on the floor. Aouch! was all he managed to say as he heard a little cry of surprise from behind him. Turning around on the floor he smiled a bit. Hey Liz he said. Realising she didn't look too happy, he turned down the smile a bit and said You ok? Are you.. crying? |
Lizzie cried out in surprise as someone walked right into her legs. She had wrapped her arms around her knees, but still someone had managed to step on her. She sighed and felt the unstoppable tears that she tried to swallow build up in the corner of her eye. She took a deep breath, just as she realised it was Marcus who'd fallen. Oh, hi she said without enthusiasm, turning her face away to try and dry off the tears before he saw them. Too late. I.. she said, hesitating. I'm fine she continued, stubborn. She didn't want him to see her crying. |
With worried eyes Marcus got up from his "I've tripped on the floor-crunch" and sat down beside Lizzie with his back against the wall too. Can't fool me Little Liz he half-smiled. Now tell good old Marcus what's wrong he joked and watched her trying to control her emotions. Apparently she didn't want him to see her tears. Why had he mentioned them? He sighed at himself, but didn't let Lizzie hear it. Seriously he said. What's happened? |
Finally managing to open her mouth without sounding like a baby, Lizzie watched her hands that twisted unsure in her lap. Without meeting Marcus's eyes she said Chris broke up with me.., just loud enough for him to hear. |
ooc: Sorry Lis, I fell asleep :D Oh... he said, a little surprised. This wasn't expected. Thinking of the cute couple his friend had made with that guy, he blinked thoughtfully then decided he'd better not start saying stuff like "it will be fine" or "good for you, now you're free", that might set of her crying again. Instead he just put a comforting "big brother-arm" around her shoulders and hugged her slightly. How do you feel? was the only thing he asked. |
Chloe :) Melanie skipped down the corridor, only half paying attention to where she was going as she hummed a tune to herself. Why did the cursed song have to be so darn catchy?! Actually it was sorta strange she even knew the song considering it was sooo old and even stranger it was stuck in her head since Hogwarts didn't even have radios. Ohhhh but it was and she couldn't get the tune out of her head, no matter how much she hummed it. Trouble was she couldn't even remember the words...only the tune. And it was infuriating to no end. Humming and swaying along to the tune she made her way cheerfully down the corridor, not even noticing if she was getting any weird looks. mmmm-MMM-mmmh-mm-MM-HMMMM-HMMM-HMMMMM. |
ooc: hehe it's ok Bella, we'll just get through this conversation slowly ^^ Quote:

He hesitated for a moment, maybe this wasn't the best time to.. well.. He eyed Lizzie quickly, then decided she deserved to know. He cared a lot about her and he would feel incredibly guilty if she found out the wrong way... Liz you know Chris is dating the Slytherin Quiddich captain, Paris, right? he said softly, studying her eyes as he waited for her reaction. Before she answered he added I saw them in Hogsmeade, they were going to Madame Puddifoot's. And poor Theo Newtington... there seemed to be some kind of misunderstanding in who was dating who he mumbled, remembering what he'd heard through the open door as he'd walked past the café. Then he turned his head to see how Lizzie reacted to this information. Maybe she already knew, maybe not. |
