Upon entering the classroom you will find that all the desks and chairs have been vanished from the room leaving a very large open space. Marcus, is purchased on the only desk in the room his legs swinging back and forth.

"Welcome your third DADA lesson, please come in and put your bags against the wall and take your place in the centre of the room. For the moment leave your wands in their holsters."

EWWWWWWWWWW. When stuff came flying out of the Professor it had hit her. That was gross. She ran over to Miss Avalon. "Please help me." She was covered in goo. Hey that's what she got for not paying attention. Every act had its consequences. But this was too far. "Please." Mucas clung to her hair and her robes. She looked rather pitiful.

I got a bit discombobulated there." he explained shyly. He looked back up to Avalon and smiled, "Thank you Ma'am." he said, greatly thankful for her being here.

William was... a special kid. Not in the way people say special when they are trying not to say something rude, but just nice. He reminded her of Tobi, in good ways.

"Don't worry about it William, and try to have some fun, it is SO MUCH fun to hex your Professors and know you aren't going to get into trouble for it. You just stick his tongue to the roof of his mouth, then you can blow a raspberry at him and he can't do anything about it, and I won't be far if you need me." She ruffled his hair. "And you and I still have to go pick out a new pair of shoes for you. Don't let me forget. "

"Right so shall we try that again?" He made sure his voice was full of confidence and that it did not hold any of the dread he was feeling about trying this again. If there was one thing he wouldn't do and that was to discourage any of kids from trying. "Now just make sure that you speak the incantation clearly. Think about the word before you say it. You can do this William, just concentrate on the spell." And to show that he had complete faith in the kid, he rep-holstered his wand and stood waiting for him to cast.

"I'm keeping track," she promised. "Sadly I have to go unstick Plymouth's tongue now. Play nicely you two."

Sighing dramatically (okay some of it was totally authentic) she headed back to Plymouth.

William smiled a bit sheepishly now that the accident was over and done with. "It still feels weird though." he replied a small grin crossing his face as he looked up at her. "And I won't forget, don't worry." he added winking at her. New shoes would be good especially now. He waved as she went back to Plymouth and turned back to Lawson.

Taking several deep breaths, the second year calmed himself down by doing what he did best; think of funny things to happen to people. Gripping his wand he waited this time, watching as Lawson re-holstered his wand. Wow he must trust me he thought before clearing his mind. Langlock, langlock langlock okay I can do this. taking one more cleansing breath he held his wand out, cleared his throat and said "Langlock " in a clear concise voice.

He felt more confident this time as the spell moved towards Lawson. He was confident he had done it right this time.

Aaand she DIDN'T have to go back to Plymouth just yet. HAPPY DAY!

Oh Poor Dani. Well plenty of ways to get rid of this. She chose, "Scourgify!"

The Mucus and... etc... vanished, and even Dani's hair seemed a bit cleaner than it was before. "Better?" she asked.

"ThankyouThankyouThankyou" She didn't even breath between words. That had been gross. She was about to hug the Healer but then remembered she'd been paired with Plymouth and was probably sick of random hugs. "You are the greatest." She stopped to think for a moment. "How does that much nasty stuff come out of one person?" Eww. Well they did say Lawson was full of it. But she hadn't thought that's what they meant.

Marcus waited patiently for William to get his thoughts together but he had to admit that his hand was twitching slightly as he waited for him to cast. He took a deep breath the same time that William did and then the spell hit him. He felt his tongue immediately stick to the roof of his mouth and he smiled at the young boy and gave him the thumbs up.

Pointing at his mouth he gestured for William to now lift the spell so that they could continue on. Oh please, please let him get this right.

Lawson, looked over at Cedric and held up a hand to him letting him know that he would be with him in a moment as soon as William lifted the spell. This lesson had looked good on paper but having your tongue glued to the roof of your mouth over and over again was getting slightly tiresome. All in the name of education as they say.

She was snot free, though she was going to the Prefect's Bathroom for a proper bath after this class.

She pointed to her face to tell him that she wanted the use of her tongue back.

Plymouth kind of liked his tongue stuck to the roof of his mouth. It made him want to hold his hands up in the air and run around chasing girls, trying to gross them out with the weirdness that is under one's tongue.

But, he refrained. Somehow.

"OOO OOO OOO nNNOoo Eeeennneee owww uhhhhh eeeeeeeee aaaa ahhhhhh" Plymouth was humming "row row row your boat gently through the Great Hall" and otherwise just happy to be in class. Really... Nurse AVA LON? She could hex him any day.

Ooookay. Marcus was starting to feel slightly uncomfortable now. Jake didn't seem to be himself and he really didn't want anything else happening to him during this class. But he didn't want to destroy the kid's confidence either.

"Ready when you are Jake. Just remember the incantation is 'Langlock'." He took a step back and waited for Jake to cast the spell. It probably wouldn't look good if he closed his eyes now would it?

Oh Merlin! Not good. Not good. Marcus definitely did not like the look on Jake's face as he pointed the wand at him. He took in a breath and waited for curse to hit. But it seemed he had nothing to worry about...yet. "Um...might want to try that again Jake. You...er...need to actually mean it." Some days, teaching wasn't all it was cracked up to be.
