He was still her favorite though, after she had gotten over that whole abandonment thing anyway.

Karma nodded her head when he suggested he go first. "Alright, if you say so. I'm Karma Atkins, by the way sir." Hmm. If this worked, Mr. Masterson wouldn't be able to answer.

She took her stance, and then concentrated, pushing off with her left foot, she swished and flicked her wrist. "Langlock!" That didn't seem like enough force. Poo. She'd have to try again if it didn't work.

Lars' attention was jerked to a student standing practically right in front of him, and he flinched in surprise. "Partner... sure. Dueling partner, yes," Professor Svensson had finally realized that they were practicing the langlock spell. "Would you like to go first?" he offered. That would give him more time to recall what he knew about the curse.

Jack felt the spell lift and immediately moved his tongue around, probably having the look of some strange sort of cow attempting to chew a big wad of grass as he did so. AHHH much better!

"Yeah, that was weird," Jack said with a chuckle, rubbing his jaw. "Much worse...and yeah, I know how to do it," he added with a nodd. He had learned the spell with the intentions of using it on his siblings once he became of age and COULD use it at home (and not at school where he would *gasp* get in trouble).

"Alright, here it comes," Jack said, pointing his wand at the Headmaster. Please don't take house points from me! he thought. With a flick of his wand he said "Langlock!" and held his breath, waiting to see if the spell would be successful.

Daniel raised his hand as he mutters the spell in his mind. "Professor, I wanted to try to do the spell, but I do not have a partner." He then hope it wasn't someone whom he had no good relations with.

The spell hit and his tongue automatically stuck to the roof of his mouth. For the second time today and it was anymore pleasant than the first time it had happened. "Goo....jjjjj..." That meant good job. Marcus didn't bother to say anymore, what was the point? He gave Dani a thumbs up for her effort.

Perhaps it had been too long since he had dueled or watched a duel. Yes, that was a good excuse explanation as to why he had thought the students and professors were dancing. Nonetheless, Lars managed to take a defensive dueling stance and had opened his mouth to tell the student to go ahead and hex him before--

Er. Well, before the girl cast her curse and it hit him and his tongue was, well, stuck to the top of his mouth. The man grimaced and waited for his dueling partner to end the spell. She was going to end it, right? He really would rather save his focus for the dueling, not for finite incantatem.

Finite FINALLY! Merlin's polka-dotted pants that Head Girl could move slower than molasses when she wanted to, eh?

Picking up her wand silently, Anastasia's blue eyes calmly and coolly met Anna's. "Yes. Nice wandwork, Miss Greingoth, and they are Jimmy Choo's." They had lovely little flames on them that just happened to match her current temperament too but she left it at that.

"So, are we to continue dueling or are you supposed to go write an essay on the effects of langlock now, hmm? Do you know?" William crossed his arm, tapping his foot as he watched everyone partnering up, with professors even! He had no idea how long he'd been standing there, staring in blankness as he forgot he was in class. blushing furiously he slipped his wand back into its holster and edged over to the wall. Ok so he was suddenly feeling a bit nervous now as he sighed once more. Why not tattoo loner onto his forehead, or put it on with permanent marker?

Now to see the boy knew the counter charm. Of course the headmaster could easily remove it himself, but then how would the students learn?

Abby could not believe Plymouth had just given Miss Avalon a bear hug. It is so worth the pain of detention to watch this. I can die happy now. Miss Avalon has gotten her just dessert. Abby cracks a smile. "Bravo Plymouth, that's the best landlock hex I've ever seen."

Drat. It hadn't worked completely. Karma refrained from stomping her foot, as it seemed a little inappropriate at this point in time. Hmm.
