She looked at all the professors showing up. What was this going to turn into a group corporal punishment session or something.


She returned her attention back to Chris as he said he would be her partner. She smiled and bowed to him and took her stance. If he thought she was going to take it easy on him he was mistaken. She was going to give it all she had and he had better hit her with all he had too. With a flick of her wrist, "Langlock," She said calmly, but with more force in her wand movement.

Ooooh. Langlock. She had used that one before in a duel. So that meant she knew how to do it, and was willing to practice again. The thought of practicing on a teacher though, was very appealing. Mwahahaha.

Except, she looked over at Em, who had fallen down after her look. She nodded her head, and motioned toward where she was standing. "Em."

It wasn't a command... sort of.

"Thanks, and I'm guessing you want me to take the first shot, well alright", Herminny said as she wnt over to Celadine and said, "langlock", closing hwer eyes while pointing her wand at Celadine wondering if she got it right but deep down almost not wanting it to.

Chris stood waiting for the spell from Paris's wand to come. He was not ready for it.

He tried to jump out of the way, but wasn't quick enough. Just as he did a crazy spin-move he was hit in the lower back and felt his tongue glue itself to the roof of his mouth. He cursed himself in his head, 'You are a wizard, for crying out loud!! Wizards don'nt dodge they use sheild charms!' he wondered if they were allowed to use them. He turned and laughed as best as he could in the situation as he waited for Paris to do the countercurse. This was embarrising.

Emiliano looked at the demonstration, even made his gulp as he could feel the tongue being stuck to the roof of his mouth. Then, Nurse Avalon freed Lawson at the arrival of the Headmaster. He bowed to him as a greeting, noticing other Professors, Bunbury, Masterson entering the classroom. OH ...interesting!!

Lawson called for partner work. Eh...he thought about going to Kaplan first, as a sign of no distraction towards Karma, but oh dear...she had called. No saying no to her, nuuu...

"Atkins..." He bowed his head with a wide grin. "How you may be today?" Em whispered, ready for dueling. Dear..he knew Karma was turning into a powerful dueller. Gulp....

"Remember that you are NOT to defend yourselves. I want you to FEEL what the hex is like when it hits you. That way you will know what spells are most effective in a duel." Marcus stood watching some of the kids for a moment. "And I never thought I would have any kids in my class not game enough to take on a Professor. This is your opportunity to get one back on us you know." If they didn't pluck up the courage soon he would start assigning the kids to the Professors.

Paris giggled as Chris tried to turn tail and run but then she hit him in the back with the hex. It was funny to watch and she had to have pity on her boyfriend as he attempted to laugh with his tongue glued to the roof of his mouth. She hit him with the counter course. "I'm sorry," she told him as she tried to keep from laughing.

She didn't care what he said. She was staying clearing of a Professor. Especially with Bunbury in the room. They were on speaking terms but that didn't mean they were going to have high tea together.

Jack looked around as everyone started partnering up. Frown. He looked around and didn't see anyone who had yet to be claimed. Double frown.

"I still need a partner!" he called out, just in case there was someone around who still needed to be paired up with someone and he was just missing them.

Chris felt his mouth go back to normal and laughed too. "Well it's my turn now, Paris." he said slyly with a cute mischevious grin. He thought this was fun. He made a little fake to his left and then "Langlock!" he shouted it and the hex flew through the air to his girlfriend.

The headmaster leaned against the wall and grinned at the activity of the classroom. He had his wand out and was performing some very impressive twirling exercises without allowing the wand to go off prematurely. Any majorette would be proud. He was probably too intimidating for a student to partner up with him on their own. Maybe he should just pick one at random and order them to play... "Mr. Fritzera, you need a partner?" he asked, pushing off the wall and getting his wand ready.

Ugh. Constantine pulled out a chair and took a seat, watching the crowd. And then, he spotted Bunbury. Best to keep an eye on her. She was most likely still sore about the shoe incident...the acorns against the greenhouse time...the other acorns time...and the lily pad fight. Oh, she was such a lovely woman to mess with...

But he was here for the students. He could bother her later.

Plymouth was as red as the T-shirt he wore. Dueling had really never been so .... fun. Coughcoughcough. Funny how Plymouth always felt a little "sick" in the presence of current company. He gravitated towards Nurse AVA LON... She could langlock him. Plymouth didn't mind.

Oh Merlin she had gotten her brother's bizarre friend. Evie warned her about this one. I mean Plymouth was nice enough, but if Evie thought he was weird....

Sigh.

Caroline sent Marcus a fake grin that clearly said, I'm going to hurt you for this.

And then she spotted Anastasia. Her face darkened. Okay she understood what he had told her... but REALLY? in a duelling class? This seemed like a recipe for... well nothing good.

Not Plymouth's fault don't take it out on him. Let the crazy child curse you.

Oh this is SO unacceptable.

Cari replaced her wand in her thigh holster and said, "go ahead Plymouth." Go ahead and curse me so Anastasia can laugh.

Or just kill me now.

She tried to keep herself from flinching at the curse he fired at her, but flinched she did. And in Paris fashion she added a squeal for good measure and the hex knocked her off her feet.

And this is why she learned to duck and move at an early age.

It was a good thing she couldn't talk she had a few choice words she wanted to let fly but she had to wait for Chris to unstick her tongue. She picked herself up off the floor and dusted her butt off and waited for her to release her.

Anna glanced quickly around the room. Things were well underway, and she had yet to find a partner to work with. Unsure of who to ask (or if there was even anyone left without a partner), she just sort of hung back and surveyed the room. She eyed the wide variety of staff members she had to choose from, as well. It'd be interesting to take on one of them. She may have to wheeled into her graduation ceremony on a hospital bed, but it'd be interesting, nonetheless. Besides, she just may surprise herself and do quite well. "Professor Bunbury, do you have a partner?" she asked.

Chris smiled as he waited for the spell to hit her. But as it knocked her over the smile slipped from his face. He walked over to her quickly and asked. "Oh my God are you ok? Im sorry I didn't mean to hit it so powerful." he stared at her. "Are you ok?" why wouldn't she answer him?! 'Oh yeah, the countercurse, woops.' After he preformed it he waited to see what she would do.

Teachers. Teachers to practice on. Heeheeheeeee.

"Em, I'll pair with you later. I want to see how hard this will sting from a teacher."

Hmm. Groundskeeper was here as well. Very interesting. She had seen his wife at the Apparition lessons, and smiled as she walked up to him, and bowed.

"Professor," she said. "Care to glue my tongue to my mouth?"

Dani skipped toward Professor Lawson. "I'd like to practice." She smiled a devious smile at him. She had discovered a love and natural ability in this class and charms. She eyed him, wondering what he'd say.

Oh...my...goodness. Emiliano agreed with Karma. Pair up with a professor. Hehe...fun.

But...as it seemed, all were taken. Oops...too late to ask. "I may need a partner, Professor..." He called out, raising his hand, thinking on what spells to use. Hmm.

EEEEPPPP! THE Headmaster?!?

But--but--what if he accidentally hurt him really bad? That could easily translate into explusion, depending on the severity. Right? Gulp.

"Ummm--yup," Jack said with a nervous chuckle, gripping his wand tightly in his hand. Would the spell hurt even more now that a trained adult wizard was performing it on him, rather than a regular student? He tried not to think about that as the Headmaster came over to him.

"You can go first, if you want," he said, offering up the first shot to the Headmaster has he tried to regain the strength in his voice. This was not going to be THAT bad, right? He'd be able to survive.

"Protego!" Cela shielded by instinct. "Ooops! I'm sorry! Do it again, Its just HARD to... let yourself be hit when you are taught not to." Cela reholstered her wand and placed her hands behind her back. After a second she added cautiously, "It.. didn't feel right when it hit my shield? Maybe you need to focus on your intent? You have to want to do it."

Bunbunz was just debating poking Masterson in the back of his head with her wand when she became distracted by Tart and Plymouth. Oooh, ahaha, so she was going to be quieted at last.

Now if only Plymouth were to cast the spell right... that might be hoping for too much, after all, since he was better at subjects that didn't require a wand. Like Herbology.

Annie flipped a bit of hair over one shoulder and slowly turned her head toward the student addressing her. "Oh, Anna, uhhhhhhhhhh....."

She bit her lip and looked around, realizing a moment too late that she was still a professor and not just a hex-happy observer. "Sure. Sure you can be my partner." ISUPPOSE.

She looked at him waiting to catch on that she couldn't talk. But she was happy that he rushed over to help her stand. Seeing as how he had put her on her butt in the first place. She smiled as her tongue was finally released. "Well I'm small so any hex would knock me over if I let it hit me." she informed him.

Maybe they should pick different partners.

Marcus raised an eyebrow at the smile and then bowed. "That is what we are for Miss Devouche." He motioned her away from the others and stood near the wall. "I am all yours Dani."

"Sure, okay", Herminny said as she went for the mouth sticking hex again. She backed up a little from Celadine again and said, "langlock", keeping her eyes open focusing on the spell while pointing her wand directly at Celadine thiis time hoping the spell actually did hit cause this spell was just funny and it does'nt hurt it's victim so whatever.
