"Hi there! Need a partner?" she asked with a smile, walking up to the girl. "I'm Natka, third-year Ravvie," she introduced herself.

He felt his tongue immediately stick to the roof of his mouth and he smiled at the young boy and gave him the thumbs up.

William smiled back at Lawson as his spell finally worked. Now all he had to do was lift the charm and he would be set. What was it again? Oh right Finite Incantatem. Ok he could do this; he wasn't as nervous as before, now that he felt more confident he was sure he could do this one. Holding his wand out he flicked, swished and said "Finite Incantatem." in a calm voice.

Please let him get this right.

She looked round, "Hey I am Victoria, I am a first year Ravvie" she smiled at the girl. She wanted to try a few charms and spells.

Now to see the boy knew the counter charm. Of course the headmaster could easily remove it himself, but then how would the students learn?

Even though Jack couldn't understand what he was saying, he took from the clapping and the smiling that Bontecou was pleased with his charm. Jack grinned himself before he remembered he now had to undo it. EEP! How horrible would that be...forgetting to undo the spell from the Headmaster? How mortifying!

He pointed his wand at him again. "Thanks Professor! Finite Incantatem," he said confidently.

Biochemkris 07-27-2009 07:23 PM

"Excellent!" he grinned and then smacked his lips. "Is it just me, or does that hex make you thirsty? Care for a bit of butterbeer?" He had some in his office he could summon down quickly enough. Surely butterbeer wouldn't get entangled with a student, dragging them up here like his pants did to that poor girl a few weeks ago...

Of course she respected the girl as a brilliant student and leader, but sometimes she just babbled on and Anastasia was really not paying attention. Her eyes had traveled from Plymalon to Masterson and Karma. HA! He was getting a dose of karma! That was good, very punny if she did say so herself...

...er, if she could have said so. Bunbury had just turned back to Anna when she found herself, once again, with a mouth full of tongue. GAH. She had to admit that was a clever (albeit low) blow. That girl.

Anastasia could do nothing, really, except simper at Anna and tap her fiery heel while she waited for the curse to be lifted. Although... Bunz gripped her wand tighter and moved her arms to cross them across her chest. As she crossed her arms, however, she couldn't resist casting a small little nonverbal trip jinx right back at Anna.

Just to really educate the girl about sneak attacks.

Anna momentarily froze, realizing a little too late that suprise attacking a professor probably wasn't the brightest idea in the world. The look on Professor Bunbury's face more than confirmed that. Instinctively, Anna took a few small steps backwards, stopping only when she saw that the professor was crossing her arms over her chest and tightening her grip on her wand. Oh, no! She better put an end to that spell...and quickly, too! What if the professor casted some horrible spell on her just as she lifted it, though? The Bunz did look pretty annoyed. Maybe Anna should hide behind a friend or another professor, then cast the spell from that point. Then she'd just be seen as a coward. Blah.

Okay, okay. She had to end this spell regardless of the fact that she believed she'd be hexed to Mars and back the second it lifted. "First of all, Professor, your shoes aren't the only nice accessory you have on today. I'd like to also point out that the ensemble you've chose really..."

BAM.

Anna's feet flew out from behind her, causing her to trip to the ground almost instantly. Her right jaw came into contact with the hard floor, and for a moment, she just lie there and rubbed it. That freaking hurrttt. Without glancing up at the professor (as she just knew the woman would probably be smiling), Anna pushed herself back off the ground. Because she'd been jinxed, though, her feet flew out from behind her again, and she was right back on the floor.

She glanced up at the professor with a look of absolute defeat. Anna couldn't cast non-verbal spells yet, so of course she had no true way to retaliate. They'd have to cast Finite Incantatem on one another in order for both spells to be lifted. "Finite Incantem!" she called out, her wand pointed at her professor. She continued to sit there on the floor, her eyes fixed right on her professor, waiting to see if the favor would be returned. She could easily cast it on herself, though, right?

Well at least he sounded more confident, hopefully he could keep that confidence up when he finally cast. Once he had done that he gestured for Jake, to end the spell so that they could move on. He could it of course but he wanted Jake to be able to do it, so that he could learn.

With these words of wisdom she made her way back to... the mad hugger.

But, he refrained. Somehow.

Ha ha hee ha ha ha ho. If Bunbunz could've cackled at the sight of Anna she would have, though the langlock curse didn't stop her from trying. She had a hearty chuckle (it came out sounding like "TSSSSHHHCHHCHCHCHCHCCHHH!") as Anna's feet came slipping and sliding out from her each time she tried to stand.

"TSCHHHHCHCHhhhaahaahahahaaaa, oops, I mean, now that is how you do a sneak attack, Miss Greinogth," Bunbury mentioned casually as soon as the spell had been lifted from her. She tapped her wand from one hand to the other and smirked at the student, positively enjoying the look of defeat coloring her face.

Annie turned her head and nodded at Marcus direction to continue practicing with your favorite spells. Oh delightful. "Did you hear that, Anna? Get up, now, dear, we get to continue dueling." She flicked her wand at the girl and released the trip jinx while bringing her to her feet at the same time.

Holding her wand loosely in one hand and resting the other on her hip, Anastasia tilted her head and politely waited for Anna to collect herself. "What is your favorite spell, by the way? Show me."

Chris heard that since he and his partner have done the langlock spell they could now move on with their favorite spells. "Alright Daniel. I'm going to go ahead with a spell ok?" he took a breath and thought of his love of stunning things. "Stupefy!" the red streak of light flashed across the room to Daniel.

While Dani surely meant well, and at any other time, Caroline would have thanked the girl, even secretly praised her... her timing was bad.

You see, at the exact time Dani tackled Plymouth, Caroline gave into her baser urges. Like the one for revenge.

"Chiraucle!" she cried, sending a Transfiguration Hex at Plymouth... and Dani.

This particular one... transfigures people's ears into large flappy bat-wings. It was her favourite revenge upon unruly siblings.

Oh look at that! The light has suddenly gone off in the boy's head. Marcus sighed when Jake informed he could not end the spell and he released his wand from it's holster and cast a non-verbal 'Finite' at himself.

"Nice work there Jake. Although we're going to have too work on the 'Finite' spell." He raised his wand and pointed it at the young boy and gave him a wink. "Now it's my turn. Langlock" he said not giving him the chance to do anything.

Jake had just opened his mouth to ask what month it was, when he found that he... couldn't. Just couldn't.

Dani's ears felt weird. She was still clinging to Plymouth, and then he was smashing her. "Ouch!" She yelled but it sounded more like Omph. There was no air in her lungs. "Geroff." She was dying... dying... Okay maybe not, but she was rather dramatic at times. She looked up at the Healer with pleading eyes. At least her head wasn't all smashed.

She looked down. Plymmys ears looked funny. She figured hers looked similar. Ewwwwwww. She was so not happy. She had been trying to help, and now look. Geez. Maybe she would stop helping people.

Lawson, looked over at Cedric and held up a hand to him letting him know that he would be with him in a moment as soon as William lifted the spell. This lesson had looked good on paper but having your tongue glued to the roof of your mouth over and over again was getting slightly tiresome. All in the name of education as they say.

Cedric smiled widely, "Are you going to duel with me?" He asked still smiling. This is going to be great, having a tough person to duel with. But as of now, Their DADa prof is dueling with a ravenclaw boy so he have to wait for a while till Lawson is available.

Surely butterbeer wouldn't get entangled with a student, dragging them up here like his pants did to that poor girl a few weeks ago...

"Sure, thanks!" Jack said with a grin. Did that mean that...practicing was over? Nah, probably not. But Lawson wouldn't mind if they took a quick break, right? Hopefully not. "That DOES sound really refreshing right about now," he said. Now that the Headmaster had mentioned it, his mouth did feel kind of dry.

"I like using Langlock against opponents that aren't able to cast non-verbals because it can actually help you win a duel if it means they can't say the incantation anymore." Celandine told Herminny, pleased that the other girl did a good job with it.

She slid her right foot back and bent it at the knee, then released her wand from her wrist holster into her right hand. "Langlock!" She spoke forcefully, the intent obvious. Cela jabbed her wrist neatly, giving her wand a little flick to send the hex shooting at Herminny's face.

"My brother uses it on me on account of he thinks I talk too much." She added.

Herminny chuckled a little at Celadines comment until the spell hit and her tongue moved upward amd stuck to the roof of her mouthwhich was annoying to say the least but opened her mouthto show Celadine she was successful and then exclaimed, "Mmmm mmm mmm", wanting that spell off her now.

ooc: I will be back in a few hours. For those who haven't finished with the 'Langlock' please keep going with it. Those that have, start practicing your new spell. Then we shall move onto the next part of the lesson.

Daniel looked at the Professor and raised his hand, "Professor, can we use any spell we love?" he said looking at him directly. But then his attention was diverted to Chris.

When he looked at Chris, all he saw was a flash of light towards him. He was then hit by a spell that sent him flying backwards towards the wall. He landed on his back and coughed a little.
