AND HE HUGGED HER! "Never mind Plymouth," she said entirely too nicely, drawing her wand. "It's your turn." She grinned maliciously. PAY BACK!! It doesn't HAVE to be Langlock does it? |

Seeing that Dani was now going to partner with Daniel. Marcus moved over to William. "Okay no point in hiding over here young man. I am at your service young William." He bowed to the young boy and then straightened up. "Want to go first?" Merlins pants, he was in a generous mood today. |

Great. Now she was partnerless. This was lame. She wanted to hex people. She looked around. Dang. It looked like everyone was taken. She'd just have to observe for awhile. She looked over at Jake. He didn't look like he was wanting to duel or she'd ask him to be her partner. She Hmmphd. Now she wanted chocolate for some strange reason. There was a fly flying around her and she was tempted to try to paralyze it but figured shee'd get in trouble and refrained. |

Without waiting for a reply he held up his wand, pointed it at Lawson and said in a clear voice "Langerk ... no wait Langlock!" too late he had realized he said the name of the spell wrong and prayed nothing serious happened to the DADA professor. |

Plymouth raised an eyebrow at the lovely Miss Avalon. Was that... a snarl? Or just her working out her tongue? Plymouth was going to assume the latter - his tongue-cursing must have been wicked good. "Yes ma'am. I'm ready." LUCKIEST BOY IN THE SCHOOL. Plymouth continued GAZING at Nurse Avalon, with his tilted, and the biggest grin planted on his face. "Ready when you are." WINK. |

"Erm, actually, it looks like we're supposed to continue working," she said, glancing around the room and noticing that everyone else seemed to still be casting. "I can't seem to see anyone who's doing anything but casting..." Anna glanced up at the professor to see if she was ready to take on another round of langlock, but she appeared to be distracted by something going on elsewhere in the room. Hmm... Seeing that they were supposedly meant to be carrying on, surely Professor Bunbury wouldn't mind a little surprise attack. Anna raised her wand in the air, swished and flicked, and called out, "Langlock!" |

He supposed that it would be gentlemanly to go easy on the student. But then she would learn absolutely nothing at all from the duel. If he could just remember how to correctly execute the curse... "Langlock!" he murmured, aiming directly at the girl. He held his breath for a moment, before remembering that if she accidentally shielded the curse, he would have to have air in his lungs to repel it away from himself. Instead, he set his jaw and waited to see if his aim was true. |

Caroline eyed Marcus out of the corner of her eye. He'd be REALLY mad if she used an Entrail Expelling Curse. And really, as school nurse, she'd have to deal with the, er, fallout. Siiiiiiiiiiiiigh. Fine. "LANGLOCK!" she cast abruptly and... shall we say... with feeling? |

Oh gee the kid wasn't even going to wait until he was even ready. Which in a way was a good thing. That was however until he got the incantation wrong. Marcus doubled over when the spell hit and he knew it had gone wrong immediately. Well of course it had, considering his tongue was supposed to be glued to his mouth and not... PUS. and MUCAS. Flying out of his mouth and nose at an alarming rate. He straightened up and flicked his wrist and his wand slid into his hand. But he was now gagging on the pus and he could not make a coherent thought in his head too end the spell. |

...er, if she could have said so. Bunbury had just turned back to Anna when she found herself, once again, with a mouth full of tongue. GAH. She had to admit that was a clever (albeit low) blow. That girl. Anastasia could do nothing, really, except simper at Anna and tap her fiery heel while she waited for the curse to be lifted. Although... Bunz gripped her wand tighter and moved her arms to cross them across her chest. As she crossed her arms, however, she couldn't resist casting a small little nonverbal trip jinx right back at Anna. Just to really educate the girl about sneak attacks. |

She would love it if someone conjured up some pillows. Quote:
GROSS!!! She screamed in her head jumping up and flinging her arms everywhere. Somebody get it out, she was begging in her head. |
Plymouth took his curse like a MAN. His hands flew up to his mouth, then his fingers made their way into his mouth. "Nyyyyyyyyy!!!" WEIRD. "Ahhuuuu mmm mmmyyu iiiiiiii???????" Can you imagine what kissing would be like?? "EEE" Hehe! Plymouth MIGHT have made a kissy face... but it wasn't at the Nurse. No. No. He was thick, but not that thick. It was a GENERAL kissy face. He continued talking like his tongue wasn't glued to the roof of his mouth. |
Quote:
Constantine instantly felt his tongue hit the roof of his mouth. Geeez, this was uncomfortable... He smiled and then nodded, giving her two thumbs up to show that her spell was a success. He then threw her a look as if to say 'take it off now, please.' |
Quote:
Hehehe. Pleased with herself? You betcha. The kid wasn't shutting up of course, but when did he ever. Still, she didn't have to know what he was saying. She did a little pivot on her heals, as if to say, See what happens when you mess with the Healer? And then she noticed Marcus on the floor. Quote:
More stuff than is normal. Oh Dear, he was partnered with William... Who was FREAKING OUT! Spell gone wrong? Completely abandoning Plymouth to his glued tongue, it was an improvement any way, Cari darted around several pairs of duellers. "Finite!" Cari cried. Well that stops the spell but it doesn't clear the airway, so with another wave of her wand she said, "Anapneo!" And she hoped no one got in the way of what flew. |

"You're a life saver Caroline Avalon...literally" he croaked. "You wouldn't be able to get me some water would you? My mouth tastes a bit like dragon dung right now. And please don't ask me how I know what dragon dung tastes like." He tried to laugh but his throat was so sore. Marcus tilted his head back and looked at William. "Don't panic mate, these things happen all the time." Well they had never happened to him before but he didn't want to upset the kid anymore than he was already. |

"That's my job, rescuing the likes of you from deadly pus." So she poked him in the ribs with her foot. "And you know I will ask. But you can save the story for when you aren't teaching a class." "Here." Caroline conjured a large glass and filled it with water from her wand. She also summoned Marcus' waste basket in case he felt the need to spit. As for the assorted Snot and Pus? Well, they didn't really phase her so if someone wanted them cleaned up, they would have to ask, or do it themselves. |

Oh Nurse Avalon was here! She could help! Before he was able to scream her name over and over for help she had come running around and saved him. gulping he calmed himself down, his eyes misty but he covered it up quickly looking down at Lawson who was now on the floor. "I'm usually the one that makes them happen." he muttered but wiped his eyes and stood straight watching him with concern. He had nearly killed his favorite professor, yeah great way of showing him you can do magic bub he thought before looking at the nurse and blinking. "I .... I got a bit discombobulated there." he explained shyly. He looked back up to Avalon and smiled, "Thank you Ma'am." he said, greatly thankful for her being here. |
Quote:
Marcus got back tto his feet and vanished the mess on the floor and the glass in his hand. "Thanks Caroline, I think that's three favors I owe you now." Meh it was probably more than that. Quote:
He turned back to William with a reassuring smile on his face. "Okay calm down William, it was an accident. I'm still alive...see." Marcus turned around and held out his arms to show that no harm had been done. "Right so shall we try that again?" He made sure his voice was full of confidence and that it did not hold any of the dread he was feeling about trying this again. If there was one thing he wouldn't do and that was to discourage any of kids from trying. "Now just make sure that you speak the incantation clearly. Think about the word before you say it. You can do this William, just concentrate on the spell." And to show that he had complete faith in the kid, he rep-holstered his wand and stood waiting for him to cast. |
