Clark entered into the cell and immediatley smelled a gross miasma. He turned around looking for a door, in case he needed to make a quick exit. The one he had gone through had vanished in the darkness.

It really smelled bad in there.

Eww. Why did he pick this room again? "I guess the fact the Roma took a romp through dragon dung fertilizer doesn't make this any better," he stated with a sour look on his face. Roma barked from where she sat in the middle of the room; the poor filthy dog. Constantine picked up a sponge and handed it to the kid, and then flicked his wand, a small pool of water for Roma to sit in appeared. "It's simple, get all the dirt out. She's covered in mud, sand, dragon dung fertilizer, regular fertilizer, leaves, and I don't think you even want to know the rest. When that's done, dry her off with a towel.

"And here," he fished in his pocket, pulling out a nose clip so that the kid didn't have to breathing this disgusting smell in. "I'm not that inhumane," he handed it over.

"Thank you,sir." Clark took the nose clip and placed on. He looked at the disgusting, albeit cute, dog who was slobbering like a waterfall. "And when I'm done?" Clark said nasally, hoping the end came soon. "What should I do after that?"

Roma, the german shepard, started to wag her tail in excitement as she spotted the sponge in the kid's hand. Sure, she was gracefully drooling, but that was only because her owner had tempted her with some delicious smelling treats not to long ago.

Constantine then handed the boy a bottle of shampoo. "After? We'll see when you get there. Right now, I suggest you get started. Just lead her into the water and get washing. Let me know when the water gets too dirty."

"Yes sir,"Clark sighed with the sponge in his hand. "Nice doggy! Good doggy! Ya, good dog Roma!" He patted his leg as he walked over to the dog. He soaked up the sponge and went to work. First he wetted Roma down-not as easy as you'd think. Roma kept roaming around and so Clark got some excersice. As soon as water was rolling all down his body (the dogs AND his) Clark decided to survey the job ahead of him. The layer of trash was as deep as his finger-nail. Scrub,scrub,scrubbity, scrub.

Roma liked playing difficult to wash. It was the reason why Constantine hated giving her baths. Roma then climbed into the pool of water, laying down in it and resting her head on the side. Playing difficult to wash was not as fun as actually getting dirty, so boo. But still, the scrubbing felt nice.

Was he supposed to learn his lesson like this? Clark thought as he scraped some of the residue of. He usually thought of himself as manly, but EWWgirlishEWWsqueal! There were SKELETONS hidden amongst the fur. Using the soap, he finally got the upper layer off. YOu could actually see Roma's fur now. All that was left was the stuff in the fur. This looks like a job for.....MIGHTY CLARK!! (doo doo la le do-oo!!!)
He picked up his sponge again and dived the fur into quadrents. #1: Delta Quadrant.
As Roma lay down Clark panicked. "No doggy, don't like in the dirty puddle, no, bad doggy, stand up, good little doggy! C'mon, there's a nice doggy. C'mon Roma!"

Constantine chuckled as Roma lied down in her own filth. Roma, sat back up again when the boy started to panic. She let out a little bark that echoed in the room and then moved out of the puddle, wagging her tail again. And then she shook.


Spraying water.

and filth.

EVERYWHERE.

Neo scrunched his face up in disgust and laughed as he tried to shield himself, but to no avail, he still got dirty. Roma looked mighty proud of her self, panting gently and tail still wagging.

Clark panicked. "Roma, seriously? Bad doggy. Go sit in the corner while I clean this up." He pushed the dog away and picked the towel up. Oh well, he didn't need it for anything else-dogs self-dry right?
He patted the water and filth up. He soaked up what was left of the clean water and soap in his sponge and braced himself. It would work this time, he knew it!

Roma whimpered and her ears drooped as she trotted over to a corner and took a seat. Her big brown eyes fell to the floor as she watched a little spider skitter his way around her. She hadn't meant to upset the boy...she only wanted to have some fun.

"Aww, Roma, it's okay, I'm just trying to get this over with." Clark walked over and petted the dog, then wiped the residue on his robe. "Here, let's sing a song. Songs make EVERYTHING better!!" Clark threw off his shoes (which he immediatley regretted as there was icky RED slime on the ground) and started to dance interpretively.
"The sun'll come ooooout, tooooomorrrowwwww! Betcha bottommmm dooolarrr thattt tommmoroooow, they'llll beeeeee sun....." Clark had learned this dance about two years ago from an old musical. He transferred into the working song and practiced choreography while he cleaned the dog and the dungeon. He finally finished with everything, the dungeon spotless (enough) and Roma squeaky clean. "Roooma! Rooma's her name IF YOU PLEASE. If youuu don't believe me, ask anyone of the fleeeaaaas. Oh wait, she has none cos I washed them all off....." This led Clark to break into spontaneous dancing and scat singing. "Shoo bop shoo daw wop. Diggity bibbity pow wow mow."

Constantine's eyebrows raised and watched as the boy broke out into a song and dance. Strange kiddos this term. He watched him clean up the dog AND the dungeon. Amazing.

Constantine threw the kid a new towel. "Dry Roma off."

"Yes sir!" Clark said cheerfully as he caught it and began to....erm....whistle while he worked.
Dry Dry Dry the Dog Dry Dry Dry the Dog Clark thought as he pirouetted to Roma.
"We're drying--the dog off----" Clark sang to the tune of "It's Raining on Prom Night" from another old muggle Broadway show.
"Roma my darling, what a beautiful dog you are!" Clark exclaimed as he fluffed Roma out.

Roma barked happily and playfully as the boy continued to sing and dance about. It was like his owner, but owner didn't dance. He liked to sing though. Owner liked to sing lots.

Tail wagging, Roma licked the boy's cheek and barked again as he fluffed her fur out.

"Does your puppy dance sir?" Clark called to Proffesser Masterson. "Can you do a little ballet dancey Roma? I could have danceddddd allll nighhhtttt, I cooouulddd havve dannnnced alll nighhtttt," Clark sang again and twirled around several times as he dried Roma's ears.

"Alright there, Footloose," Constantine smiled, shaking his head, "You're supposed to be in Detention, remember? Not planning the next hit Broadway musical. You should talk to Professor Truebridge...I believe he's into that sort of thing. Either way, here Roma!" he called. Roma obediently ran over to her owner and sat down on her hind legs. Constantine knelt down and started to check her fur, making sure he'd gotten all the dirt out.

Suddenly water seem to seep into the dungeon level, wetting everyone's feet.

Water continued seeping it, rising fast. It was now at waist level and continually rising... The water was cold and dark, green, and murky... and no spell was going to stop its ascent.

Ethan managed to get the door open, blasting a hole in it with his wand rather than trying to fight against the water pressure and his brow furrowed when he saw that not only was there a student, but Masterson and his dog. "I have an emergency portkey license." He explained, eyeing the soaking towel in the boy's hands. "Grab that and the dog and I'll charm it for you now." He shifted slightly, thoroughly soaked to the bone.

Once the kid and Masterson had a good hold of the towel and the dog, Ethan nodded. "Transferring you up to the owlery, Cari is up there now with the other detentionees." Ethan pointed his wand, tapping the towel. "Portus!" Once again he didn't bother waiting to watch them leave, rather he waded out... one last check of his old common room was necessary...

... Pets needed rescuing too.

Constantine was busy checking the fur around Roma's ears and eyes when he could feel his socks getting wet. "What the..." he mumbled, looking down at the floor and staring strangely at the layer of water on the floor. Where in the world has this come from? He gently got to his feet and crossed over to the door to open it up to see if it was a floorwide thing, but on his way there, the water rose an alarming amount. They needed to get out of here.

Constantine pulled on the door knob to try and get the door open, but the water pressure was too much for him to overcome. He had to grab Roma before she started to panic, but he had forgotten: she was still a puppy (however big she may have gotten). To her, this was like being at the beach. She wanted to have FUN, so she started to romp around the room.

"No, Roma! Come here," he called, wading back into the middle of the room. "This is no-" that was when he slipped and fell into the water. Okay, now he wasn't happy. He picked himself up out of the water, "Roma. Here. NOW." As she trotted over, ears down, Truebridge busted through the door saying something (heavens knows what, Neo's ears were plugged.) All he managed to get was "Portkey."

Grabbing his detentionee around the neck in a headlock with one arm and grabbing Roma's colour with a hand attached to that same arm, he nodded a thanks and took the towel-portkey from Truebridge.

And then they were gone.

Kazimeriz checked the final cell. Nothing.

Perhaps he should've saved himself the effort and trusted Truebridge. Still, he felt better knowing he'd checked himself. He returned to the check in area, struggling and shivering in the cold water, coughing as the damp air hit his old lungs hard.

Yeah. Ethan was pretty sure it was a trap now. No sign of Kazimeriz, even if he'd left clues behind. Specifically designed to keep Truebridge down here, he was pretty sure. He waded through the room, his muscles complaining iin a vague sort of way from the cold more than from the resistance of the muggy water. Once he was sure that there was no Kazimeriz, Ethan headed out of the cell.
