| | |  CoMC Lesson 1 :: Nifflers
Professor Morgan was in a glorious mood this morning as she exited her office door. With a flourish of her wand, she levitated a number of large wire cages, each of which contained 2 or 3 fluffy black creatures with long snouts and flat paws.
With the cages leading the way, Iliana headed down to the paddock. She carefully deposited the cages on the ground and then withdrew a small black pouch from her robes. With a flick of her wand, its contents were instantly deposited beneath the soil. Professor Morgan had instructed the class not to wear anything shiny; she sincerely hoped that they took heed of her advice, otherwise they were going to be in for an extremely interesting lesson.
There was still some time to before the class was due to start so the professor reached down and unlatched the cage closest to her, pulling out one of the black fluffy creatures and cradling it in her arms. Then she leaned up against the paddock fence and began stroking its head while she waited for the first of her students to arrive.

Scratching his ear because feeling a little uncomfortable with the instructions, George looked down at his feet. Maybe he could just sit there, watching the others have fun. Elizabeth blinked as mentally she came back to class. What with the normal having to worry about studying for NEWTS and everything, she had found herself getting lost in her thoughts a lot lately, especially because of the fact she still didn't think she had figured out a way to juggle both Mari and Robert as friends. Since it appeared she risked hurting one when she talked to the other. But they were all seventh years, she thought they'd be more mature than that. Apparently not.
But back to class. It appeared they were being paired up for something, and, considering the nifflers, it was a pretty good guess what for. And she had paid attention to the suggestion left in the announcement for the class that had been left in their common room, not wearing the necklace she had gotten last year for Christmas (which was actually hard for her, since she barely ever took it off). But then she panicked a little, as she remembered the Gryffindor girl giving her the gift earlier in the castle, and the fact that it was in her pocket. Oh well, not much she could do now. She didn't have a partner, either. Okay, this class is just going so very well for me, she thought sarcastically.

Ricco went down on his knee as he tried to scoop one up into his arms, unfortunatly he missed the first two who managed to scottle past him getting cought by the people behind him. On his third try a fast one ran straight at him so taking his shot he held onto it so it didnt get away.
