Anna smiled at both her partners, then nodded in the direction Brant had suggested they go in order to let their little guy loose. "Alright, off we go!" she exclaimed, turning and heading towards the edge of the hearth. As she walked, she watched all the other little nifflers scurrying about. Most other pairs or trios had ten or so coins by now! She, Brant, and Shana would have to get a move on if they planned to catch up! As she was all the way to the edge, she bent down and let the niffler loose. "Goooo, Sammy! Goooo, Sammy!" she called out, urging the niffler to go, go, go. She quickly glanced towards her group members and gave them a little smile. "I thought he could use a name..."

As Sammy the Niffler scurried throughout the paddock, Anna continued to urge him on. She watched as he headed towards a shiny gold coin, only to have it snatched up by a fellow niffler before he could even get there. Man, these nifflers were hardcore when it came to these shiny objects! Never fear, though, because within seconds, Sammy had scooped up two little silver coins and a large gold one. "Alright, Sammyyyy!" Anna called out, bending down and retrieving the coins from the little guy. She gave him a nice pat on the back, then tossed the three coins into their little pouch.

"So now we have 27 coins 4 chains and one broken ring. I think we are on a roll here." Naomi said with a smile.

"What are these things?" Lettie asked Ott as she held up the lumps of gold and silver. "He keeps bringing these back, and he disappears for quite a while." She dropped the heavy items into the bag and took another few coins from her niffler. 'Six lumpy things, a bracelet, scrap metal, and um...15 coins.' She looked at other nifflers, some better, some worse.
All Lettie wanted to do at this point was to take her niffler back home with her...they would be so much fun.

"Look! 2 more for us." Said Jule. She was becoming a bit tired from all the running around with the niffler.

Victoria looked round for her new partner, her niffler hadn't found anymore coins.

"Oh i'm hoping that I picked a good oneAsh said catching the next few coins that popped out of the ground

SUCCESS! "Okeydokey! So...what do we need to do...just follow the lil guy around and pick up after him...I got this," She said, holding out one of the charmed bags..."Unless you've already got one?" Either way...maybe they'd get so many coins that they'd have to fill BOTH pouches up!

Hayley giggled as the niffler came back. TWO COINS! WHOOT!

"Here ya go," she said, handing them to the older boy, "so, whatchur name?"

Brant stood there giving the Niffler some encouragement and when it came back the next time it went up to him. Dropping the Coin onto the ground. Getting Brant all covered in dirty he couldn't help but laugh, watching all of the other students having a lot of fun he thought he was really going to enjoy this class. looking to Shana he said "Our Niffler is doing soo good, I hope he gets us lots of coins." By that time the Niffler already returned with two coins in his mouth and had dropped them infront of him again. Picking up the two coins he put it in the pouch with the others that the Niffler had already gotten.

"Hey Jule, you look tired. Do you want me to take over for awhile?" Divad asked, noticing Jule's condition.

Looking over at what Lettie was showing him. He looks confused. "I don't know. Good question." looking around he wonders where the professor is, maybe she would know.

Laura followed her Niffler to the patch her had just dud up. Oh...now she could see why he didn't just bring her the treasure. She collected it into her little pouch, counting it as she went. "Wow! 27 coins and 2 gold chains total!"

"No. I'll be fine. It's all good excerise." she said.

Something shiny popped up from where their niffler was digging. Jule picked it up and said, "I think it's a necklace."

Lily collected the coins that popped out and put them into the bag. After counting for a few seconds she smiled, "Awesome! So far, we have a gold picture frame, about 8 coi-" As she was speaking, a gold chain necklace with a pendant attached to it and two more coins were hurled into the bag from the niffler with surprisingly great accuracy. "Okay, well now we have ten coins and a necklace too. Cool!"

"yup, we're on a sausage roll." Iris said, laughing. "Where'dhe go? can you see the Niffler?" she asked.

"Well..." Kiri floundered. That was a good question. She looked around discreetly to see what her classmates were doing. Most of them were kneeling or standing at the edge of the field where the nifflers were hard at work, watching silently or cheering them on. The creatures were racing back and forth, earth was soaring through the air.

"I think we just wait until our niffler comes back and... Oh, here it is!" Kiri bent low. The niffler they had picked stood before her and Jude, a madly cheerful gleam in its eyes. It dropped a small coin on the grass in front of them. "Well... done?" Kiri said uncertainly. She stretched out her hand to pat the niffler on its head, but it had already turned around again, burrowing its long snout in the ground, paws flailing so fast they were blurred.
Within a few minutes, it had dropped another two coins in Kiri's hand.

"Oh my, it is!" Divad said, marveling the handy work that went into the object's design. "How beautiful!"

"It looks like a boy to me. But then, don't they all?" How unnattractive. Even the female Nifflers looked like boys. If it weren't because Nifflers were creatures, Willow would have felt bad for them. But since they were. . .

. . . Oh, it was finally coming out with something! Beaming when the thing gave Rachel the coin, Willow saw as it went back to its hole. "I think I should have the bag and you should be the one grabbing the coins He gives you." She was convinced it was a boy. "Since the creature seems to like you more, and all. Oh, and don't you think we should make him move? So he can dig somewhere else too?" Surely all the coins were not in one place, right?

Naomi laughed at Iris' joke and looked over the pen for their niffler. Then she saw their niffler running towards them with more coins. Naomi counted them out. "6 more. that makes 33 coins and 4 chains."

Victoria's niffler had found 5 more coins, she has 11 coins now!

Divad and Jule's niffler had found 3 more coins, yeah!

Lettie sighed with relief as her niffler came rushing back with another gold and silver bracelet and...another lumpy thing. "Good job, buddy." She said and dropped the treasure into the bag. She wondered how much longer the class would last, she needed to ask the professor about something too.

Watching the niffler was rather fun however, it dived in and out of the soil and shook the dirt off like a tiny dog. Lettie couldn't help but laugh, it was an interesting class after all.

Elizabeth shifted to take a pouch from Professor Morgan when they were handed out, slipping the coins into it, before she turned to see her niffler running back to her, depositing three more coins onto the ground before glancing at her knee, which was still hiding the necklace, and then turning to go back to his search. Her eyes widened a bit at that, since she had almost expected the niffler to give up and decide his end of the deal was complete. But apparently he had decided it wasn't.

In short order, he came back and deposited three more coins, a different necklace, a couple tiny twisted chunks of metal, and, oddly, a little silver box. Elizabeth slipped all of it into her pouch with the original twelve coins, as she watched him continue his search. It was mindboggling, like her agreement to let him have the odd gift she had been given earlier had spurred him on to do his best. She watched some of the other students' nifflers go at it, until she realized her own had dropped even more shiny objects in front of her, and then realized her attention would be better suited to stay on her niffler, so she didn't miss anything.

"I feel empty without mine." she said and felt her neck.

"Let's keep moving. How much is that so far?" she asked. She had lost track of the coins when she picked up the necklace.

"and a ring. Don't forget the ring!" Iris said," Oooh! look here he comes again!!" Iris was getting really giddy... she liked shiny stuff almost as much as the nifflers did!

Vanessa grinned at Miles as their niffler came up again, and she dropped to her knees to collect the shinny things. "oooh...You a good little sweetheart aren't we." She smiled, as she petted the nifflers head, before it went off again. Vanessa dropped 4 coins, and 2 halfs of a broken ring into the little bag Professor Morgan had given them. Now they had about 9 coins, and the broken ring.
