Simone absolutely beamed. She gave Jake a big smile and replied, "Thank you so much." She sat down next to him, just barely hearing what he said under his breath. She grinned a bit before adding, "Don't worry, I am very good at Care of Magical Creatures, and I tend to try and take the lead when in pairs." She blushed at that. She couldnt help that she was very good in most subjects.

Kiri had forgotten about Jude's... accent. It wasn't his fault, of course, but Kiri had trouble understanding him at times. Well, it was too late to change anything about it now, not to mention that doing so would be incredibly rude. And leave her without a partner.
She replayed his words in her head. What do we do... Oh! She got it. A little embarrassed, she said quickly: "Umm, I think we just wait until everyone has found a partner and the Professor lets us have one of the nifflers."

Iris saw a boy looking rather lonely, and as she couldn't see Aaron, she walked over and asked, "hey, do you need a partner? my Friend doesn't seem to be anywhere."

Naomi looked around the class for someone who was still partnerless. She was going more and more upset at the slight rudeness of her classmates. Sure she had been gone for a year but that still didnt give them the right to make her feel like an outcast. But then she saw someone looking about as distress as she was and walked up to her. "Hi my name is Naomi, do you have a partner yet?" she said with a smile. "Would you like to be mine?"

Melanie restlessly kicked the leg of her desk at the mention of, Dunn duuun dunnnnn, partners. Everyone seemed to be pairing off and the second year was nervous she'd be the only one left. And that might be an ency weensy bit embarrassing.

Melanie glanced around, hoping someone would ask her and she wouldn't need to go ask anyone. Cause' that would be scary...Yep.

"Annnnyone need a partner?" she asked, looking around hopefully at the other students for anyone, anyone at all. Ugh, knowing her luck she'd be the only one without a partner in the end or something awful like that.

Overhearing the boy's statement, the Professor grinned again. She loved an eager Ravenclaw. They were sure to do well today.

OOC: The nifflers are still in their cages dear. Except for the ickle one the professor's holding.

Nodding absentmindedly, Jake looked out over the paddock. "Okay, cool," Jake nodded, reaching up to fiddle with his earring again and giving himself a temporary fright when he couldn't feel it. Quickly remembering it was in his pocket, Jake sighed with relief. "Things tend to end with disaster when I'm in class," he admitted, smiling up at Simone, having to squint a bit in the sunshine. "Wish I was a niffler... would help in Quidditch... like, playing Seeker. And the spade like... hand... paw... things," Jake added, not knowing how to describe hands/paws when comparing humans and animals.

Was it too late to ask Anna to be partners? Reese looked over at Anna who was partnering up with Shana. Yeah, too late. She looked back at Jack. She really should have partnered up with someone else. She really wasn't sure if Jack really wanted to be partners or if he was just saying yes because he didn't want to say no. But, oh well. Anna was already taken, so she was just going to have to stay partnered up with Jack. What's the worse that can happen? It's not like he was going to run off saying that he needed to feed his frog to his cat his frog AND his cat.

She nodded at Jack and smiled. She turned back around the face Professor Morgan, waiting for her to let the nifflers out. She couldn't wait to start finding some treasure.

Laura turned around and saw that Jule was asking if she had a partner. "Oh Jule," she gasped and her hands flew to her mouth. "I'm sorry, but I'm with Thomas." Laura genuinly was sorry, for that left Jule partnerless, but Thomas had asked first.

Rachel's eyes darted from one student to another, feeling really annoyed. Even the little first years have partners and she didn't! Pfft - stupid pairings... She would just work alone. Making up her mind, she began striding towards Professor Morgan to demand a Niffler when she was approached by someone who wanted to be her partner.

Turning towards the sign of her voice, she grinned as she saw that it was none other than the Ravenclaw Captain, Willow Kovak herself. "Nope, I would love to," she replied with a relieved smile, pleased that she had a partner after all. Going to a Professor and telling them that she was going to directly disobey their orders wasn't the way to handle things... Especially since she was a Prefect, right?

Shana smiled.Weell This was awesome.A great lesson,A awesome partener and mabye they'd each get their own Nifflers.That'd be soo coool.This was soo awesome she had the HEAD GIRL as HER partener HERS.No one elses Buut hers.Annnd...Mabye Anna had some tricks up her sleeve,being head guurl and everythink.Mabye They had some special hand book orr something that told them the answers to every possible question in all the lessons.That'd bee soooo coool.Shana shrugged her shoulders and beamed.

Shana smiled and hugged Anna slightly.Thanks Anna! I hate having to find parteners.Its like always soo haard.Cause no one usually wants to go with me and by the time You find someone who will go with you,they've already got a partener.She smiled and shrugged.
