Notes? When her parchment and quill and inks AND textbooks were down in the flooded dungeons? Hah. Right. She'd have to borrow someone's notes or go to the library to do the homework.

But thank goodness they didnt need to take notes for the other part of the class!

Turning to Clifford at the same time he turned to her, Evangeline chuckled. eEP! she was about to ask him the same thing! "Of course! We're the best team" They were gonna PWN!!

Jude sighed and bounced, waving his arm, trying to be seen by the mostly taller crowd of people. "Who nee's a pahtnehhh???" he called up at them, hoping desperately he'd get another Slytherin to try and earn massive house points. Or... more than none.

Reese sat in her chair, writing down the things Professor Morgan was telling them. Black fluffy long-snouted... She continued to write until the Professor stopped talking and then started telling them what they were about to do. She closed her notebook and stuffed it in her bag and looked up at the Professor.

TREASURE HUNT?! That is so awesome. She could already tell this was going to be a very very fun class. Then, Professor Morgan said to get into partners. Eh, partners? She could find a partner, no problem.

She got out of her seat and turned around, looking at all the people that attended the class. She spotted Jack, who looked like he didn't have a partner yet. Should she? Yes, yes she should! She walked away from her seat and headed over to Jack. "Uh, Jack. Want be partners?" She asked.

Lily looked at Ash and smiled warmly, "Heya, want to be partners?"

Laura turned to see Thomas standing behind her. "Oh, Ok then!" She said brightly. "We'd better pick an amazing Niffler! I want those house points!" Laughing, Laura went over to look at the small furry creatures.

And then the inevitable partnering-up. Mariel wasn't surprised, in fact she had been expecting it as she did in most class. Glancing around the class she caught sight of Keltan and remembered telling him that she'd be his back-up partner if he ever needed one. As she caught his eye, she noticed that he looked a bit nervous and she figured he'd need a partner... but then the dilemma... Sarah was standing right next to her and of course she'd want to partner with her best friend. Not to mention that Sarah had just now asked her... Glancing back to Keltan quickly, she heard that first year, Satine, express a need for a partner. Oh, good, Mariel was pretty sure that she knew Keltan as well so they could be partners.

First she addressed Sarah. "Sure we could be partners... but hold on, I'll be right back." Then she walked over to Satine and gestured towards Keltan as she spoke. "I think Keltan needs a partner, if you still need one... I'm sure he wouldn't mind." That settled, she walked back to Sarah for the next part of the lesson.

Shana smiled.Ermm This should be fun.Ergh Oh no.Now they had to find parteners.Shana hated having to find parteners no one ever wanted to be her partener.She looked around and spotted Anna.She headed over and smiled.Umm Anna wanna be parteners ? she shrugged her shoulders hoping Anna said yeah.

As he waited for an answer, Jake heard someone say his name. He vaguely remembered the voice, but it wasn't one of them heard-it-a-few-years-back voices or one of them hey-didn't-I-meet-you-last-year? voices... and when Jake turned to see, he recognised the girl immediately. It seemed they only tended to encounter each other around Professor Morgan. "Sure... we can be partners..." Jake nodded, but he couldn't help but add under his breath, "I'd be careful 'round me, though."

I think most of you remember Jake's past lessons... more often than not he ended up on the floor.

Raiden seemed to be busy writing things down, and one of the people Kiri was grouped with was giving him hopeful looks, so when she'd finished with her own notes, she got up and looked around for someone else to partner with. A few metres away, another of Raiden's friends, Jude with the Mafia fixation, appeared to be equally lost and partnerless, so Kiri elbowed her way through the rest of the students until she stood before him. "Err..." she said uncertainly. "Want to partner with me, Jude?"

The lesso nwas going well so far. But she had started to panick when she had to go in parners. She hardly recognised anyone. So she just strolled around looking for someone to pair up with. Looking on the birght side- Trixie thought Nifflers were kinda cute also she loved treasure.

Jack looked around for someone who hasn't found a partner yet.

"Oh most definitely Jake. This paddock has been here for a VERY long time." Granted she'd enlarged it recently, but Magical Creature professors have been using this area since... FOREVER. They were likely to find all kind of interesting things. "Jake, if you find anything good maybe you can share it with Professor Truebridge. You never know, he might give you extra credit."
"Absolutely Satine." She said. Then she cleared her throat and said, "Anyone having trouble finding a partner, raise your hand." She could just pair them up herself. It would be fun.

Iris groaned at the mention of a treasure hunt... she had poor luck and didn't do well in treasure hunts... not that she had participated in many of them... Iris looked around, "partners?" she thought to herself... "I've no one to be partners with!..." listening to what the professor said, she raised her hand high in the air, she didn't want to have to work on her own.

Partners? Ugh. Rachel sighed as she looked around, trying to find a suitable partner. If only Livvy was here, or Jenn, or Rian... But Rian was long gone and Jenn and Livvy didn't seem to be present. Putting off the annoying subject of finding someone to work with, she quickly scribbled down everything the Professor said about Nifflers, paying special attention to her handwriting since she knew that this year she was going to need readable notes.

Why do we always need partners? Can't we just work by ourselves? Rachel was an independent girl. She didn't work well with other people, not in groups, not in trios and not in pairs. She sighed again as she surveyed the class one more time. I'll probably end up with some babbling first year who will be too busy staring at the trees to work... Or something like that, she thought to herself grumpily, pouting.

"Yey" Vanessa giggled, smiled at her boyfriend. This was going to be fun. "We will rock." She smirked, turning back to Professor Morgan and waiting for the next set of instructions.

"I think everyone wants those five house points," replied Thomas to Laura. Thomas looked at the Niffler and petted it. "When I first heard the word Niffler I thought it was a huge mole. What did you think a Niffler was when you first heard the name?" said Thomas looking at the fluffy creature.

"Yeah that would be cool" Ash said to Lily

Naomi raised her hand. "Professor I dont have a partner yet."

Now feeling worse than a complete idiot, Kel raised his hand. "Hey Sat! Wanna be my partner?" he asked, avoiding the professor's gaze. Well, at least he already knew Satine...

Partner, partner, partner.

Forest green eyes falling on the female Prefect, Willow stood up and went to stand next to Rachel, who just like her, semeed to be partner-less. That, and the fact thats he didn't seem to be particularly pleased to have to look for a partner.

Good. She should joined the club.

"You don't mind to partner up with me, do you?"

Divad looked around for Jule, he hoped she would be his partner.

Jack had only just begun panicking about who he would ask as a partner--people were being claimed one by one all around him. Finally, he heard someone come up behind him and he grinned. Until he saw it was Reese. EEEEK!

After his mad escape from the corridor the other day, he had convinced himself that he had been overreacting. She had never said that HE was cute--just his love for Astronomy. And that certainly did not mean that she wanted him to be her boyfriend. Sitll, he was quite sure things were going to be horribly awkward around them from now on. "Oh, uh...sure. Yeah. Partners. That's cool," he muttered.

Still looking around for a partner, Anna grew more and more excited about the upcoming treasure hunt. This was definitely something that had, as far as she knew, never been incorporated into a class, so it'd be a new experience for everyone. Ohh, wonder how they'd incorporate the nifflers into the hunt? Maybe they'd all get their own niffler, and they could let it lead them to the shiny objects?!? That'd make sense, after all. Or maybe, just maybe, the professor had something else up her sleeves? Anna wouldn't doubt it if she did. Professor Morgan was always full of interesting and neat ideas.

Anna continued to let her mind wander about all the possibilities, until Shana approached her and asked about being partners. "Oh, hey, Shana! Of course I'll be your partner! I think this will be one of the most exciting lessons I've ever been to. I can't wait to get started," she said, with a smile. Alright, so step one, finding a partner, was done. Now all she and Shana had to do was wait for the rest of the directions.

He was still partnerless. He was getting worried that he'd be left all alone with no chance to earn house points. But, finally someone was talking to him! Jude smiled big at Raiden's friend Kiri. "Shooore!!!" he said cheerfully. "Wha' do we do aftah we pahtnehh up?" he asked, curiously.
