You walk into the Charms Classroom and see nothing on the board. There are various quills scattered everywhere and bottles of unlabeled ink. They're on the floor, stuck to the walls (using the sticking charm, no doubt), hanging off of strings from the ceiling, and on the desks. There are even some floating in mid-air!

Ashby is sitting on his desk dangling his feet over the front and swinging them back and forth. Typical.

Satine wondered around and decided to cast the spell on the front of the Professor's desk. "Aparecium" she said with a flick of her wand. Slowly the words, "Do you know the muffin man appeared?" She giggled remembering this was a line from one of the Muggle fairy tale thingys.

"That's no way to get points, Celandine," Plymouth said on his way by her desk. He stopped to look down at her, shrugged, and went on his way again.

Plymouth was wielding his wand like he usually did, with one (manly) hand placed on his hip and his wand out like a sword. "Aparecium!!" Zorro-like-swish.

Plymouth did a cartwheel and went to work on a wall. He looooved classes that let him get up and wander around at will."Aparecium!!" Zorro-like-swish.

Grace saw Aaron's message and chuckled. 'This is cool!' She went to the other edge of the classrom and touched the wall with her wand, "Aparecium." Nothing happened. She tried again, but still there was nothing. She sighed. She thought she'd succeed at the just opposite of the first message.

She chose a random place and "Aparecium"ed again. "My thumb is green." Really? Grace checked the class as if she could see such a thing. When she couldn't, she laughed and moved on to another side of the wall.

after finding a secret *message* Lyra wanted to find more. She walked towards the front of the class, choose a spot on the floor and pointed her wand at it saying "Aparecium!" another message was revealed! oh yea Lyra was getting good at this, after failing a few times... Lyra stooped down to read what it said.

"This is a secret message, teehee"

Lyra got up on her feet , laughing and looked at the professor with a 'what in Merlin's beard?' look on her face.

Natka walked to the back of her desk, deciding to try there. Perhaps she'd find a message which made a bit more sense than some of the ones her classmates were uncovering - she could hear their whispereed discoveries raising surprise in their voices.

"Aparecium!" she exclaimed, pointing her wand at one of the legs of her desk. For a moment, nothing happened. With a frown, Natka had just decided to try the spell again when...

"Curse the chest of drawers or die".

Natka stared at the words, baffled. So much for fidning a message that made some sense.

Anna blinked at the odd-looking sentence, then reread (or at least tried to reread) the tongue-twisting words. She giggled a little at the silliness of the sentence, before moving on to see what other wonders the classroom held. Hmm...she'd done a desktop, so...how about a wall? A wall seemed nice. She pointed her wand towards a section of the wall that looked plain and ordinary, then called out the incantation. "Aparecium!"

"Never kiss...

Ohhh! This one looked interesting! Grinning, she pointed her wand to the right of the word kiss..."Aparecium!"

"Never kiss behind the gate,

This one was bound to be a good one! She just knew it! Already giggling, she pointed her wand to the right of the word gate. "Aparecium! Aparecium! Aparecium!" There. That should get it.

Never tickle a sleeping dragon

Well that was the motto of Hogwarts.

That was not a secret message after all.

He moved to the table of the professor.

The front part that is, he pointed his wand at it and said, "apparecium"

He then recognized a word, well two words that is.

Giant Squid

He then moved sideways and said "apparecium, apparecium, apparecium"

Well after doing a couple more of the spell, he reads.

Giant squids now resides in the dungeons.

Cedric started searching around at the classroom again.Searching for humorous writings,writings on the walls,desks,etc.

"Aparecium."He point his wand to the Prof Ashby's table then writings pops out.Then he read it for crying out loud,

"Kapoor and Ashby were clowns"

"Aparecium.Aparecium.Apareciuum"He uttered three times pointing his wand on three different directions.

Well,that's what he saw when he cast the incantation on the wall then the other is.It didn't make sense at all though its kinda bit funneh for him

Amber moved onto a spot on the floor and said, "Aparecium!" And nothing happened, so she said again, this time more firmly, "APARECIUM!" Now something appeared. It said this," Did you eat your staples today?" Amber just stared at the message and thought in her head, "RAANNDOMM!" Then she moved onto the desks.

After Chris found his first strange message he walked over to the far wall from where he had been to look for more hidden ink. "Aparecium!" and then he waited for the words to become visible.

Professor Bunbury is a snappy dresser.

Chris shrugged his shoulders, he kinda agreed with that. So it didnt really faze him. He turned to a new spot and repeated the spell. "Aparecium!"

House elves like to clean the clutter, be sure not to poke the cow's utter.

Chris grinned and then thought to himself. 'Ok you had me on the first one now you lost me again.' Professor Ashby was hilarious.

As Herminny saw her classmates start to uncover what the invisible ink read she could'nt help but chuckle a little and decided to try the spell for herself. She took out her wand and said, "aparacium pointing it at the desk and saw it read, 'Don't you're shoes', and she smiled because she got the spell right but could'nt help but think this whole class was quite random but still fun.

Diane heard that there were moon chants to make people insane. As she read what other people discovered, Diane started to believe the professor may have the hidden intention of making them, slowly but surely, bonkers-insane. She kind of kept going with the waving of her wand over blank surfaces, in desks and walls, chanting "Apparecium" now and then, but her eyes most often than not were on the things already revealed. She did feel a little out of touch with her sanity, she did.

Amused expression on her face, Anna glanced over at the professor, wondering if he'd been the genius to come up with that one. She laughed a little, then sought out a new spot to cast the spell on. She really should try the ceiling soon. Sure, she was short and might need some help reading what was up there, but maybe...just maybe...it'd been written kind of big. She moved around the classroom a little, positioning herself just under a bare spot on the ceiling. Maybe it wouldn't be bare for long, though... With her wand pointed upwards, she called out, "Aparecium! Aparecium! Aparecium!" The more she casted the spell, more and more words appeared just above her.

Oh this page of white-y white. It looks so good I took a bite.

After his amazing fit of hidden giggles William went back to work walking over to another part of the wall where no one seemed to be looking. He was curious as to what would be behind it and held out his wand, his eyes dancing as he said "Aparecium." in a soft voice, pointing his wand at the bare wall. nothing appeared so he moved down a bit, saying "Aparecium." again as he pointed his wand at the wall, face set. "The..." okay, he was getting something.

"Aparecium." he said again pointing his wand, "The hypotenuse of a right " okay...he thought "Aparecium, Aparecium!" he said again and again, his face frowning more as more words appeared. "The hypotenuse of a right triangle is the triangle's longest side." he finished reading, his mind going blank as the words hit him. Math, why did Ashby have math on his wall?!?

William scowled at the wall then began to continue, thinking there may be more words. "Aparecium, Aparecium!" he said again, pointing his wand as he slid down the length of the wall. "The hypotenuse of a right triangle is the triangle's longest side, but the blue fairy will get you."

Huh?

Okay, now he knew he was going crazy; there was no way Ashby could know about his day dream he had in the boys bathroom, right? Had Jake said something to someone, starting rumors again? He looked around eying everyone before turning back to his sentence and reading it again. "The hypotenuse of a right triangle is the triangle's longest side, but you should know this already." the sentence read and he sighed. He had just imagined it. He needed food he thought wondering when this would be over so he could go and eat in the common room.

Grace was so into watching people’s finding out some random sentences that she hadn’t realized she was just standing there. Then it finally occurred to her that she had to find some too. She could find only two so far. She needed to find much more.

She touched her wand on the wall once more, muttering “Aparecium.” It said: ‘Venice gets a queen. Best I’ve ever seen.’ Hey, wasn’t that a lyric of Red Hot Chilli Peppers? ‘Cool!’ Grace thought and took another step to the right, wand already casting “Aparecium.” Sadly, she couldn’t find anything there. She moved on to another wall.

“Aparecium!” ‘I’m a wall, which is small.’ The little Slytherin smiled and was far away into other people's sentences again.

Aaron saw Grace's sentence next to him. "Hey, i love the Red Hot Chili Peppers." He pointed his wand right next to her sentence. "Aparecium!" nothing happened. "Oh, come on!!! Aparecium!!!"

It seemed that the sentence was cut off. SO he performed the spell right next to it to retrieve the second half of the sentence.

ve's, gonna make you sweat, its's gonna make you groove.

"It seems that Professor Ashby likes really old music. And this wall is full of it." He laughed and moved to another part of the room.

Iris sat down as she thought of a good place to cast the spell again, most of the walls, celings and windows - not to mention desks and chairs were covered in writing. There wasn't anywhere else to cast on. Other than the floor. Iris looked on the floor... It would be worth a try right? Iris pointed her wand at a blank bit of floor "Aparecium!" I big muddle of words and letters formed on the floor, but they were too smudged to make them out. By the looks of it though, it had something to do with the Giant Squid, and dancing... "That must have just gotten mixed with another one." she said, shaking her head, casting around the area, to try and find other messages that could possibly have gotten mixed up. Nothing though. Iris sighed and smiled at her friends as she ventured off to the other side of the classroom.

Getting bored of looking for boring old hidden words (and really he was simply frustrated that he couldn't seem to find any... though the fact that he wasn't even trying and simply sitting and pointing at the same spot over and over again didn't help), Garret sighed rather loudly and cast the professor a look that clearly expressed his wish to leave the classroom and perhaps go get some food.

Or run outside.

Or get some food, run outside and then eat it outdoors.

Anything but this.

"Apara-ray-raaaaaa-aaah" his mouth widened halfway through the incantation and he let out a great, hearty yawn even as his wand swished in a random direction.

This was starting to become irritating. It was enough to make her red on the face and for all the wrong reasons. Curling her lip slightly at the floor, Daphne pointed her wand at it and humorlessly chanted the incantation.

Still no luck.

UGH! HOPTONS DID NOT ACCEPT FAILURE!

"I am so tired," she mused, whining to herself as a hand flew up to her forehead dramatically as if to keep her steady lest she keel over in a faint--when a blazing spell shot past her shoulder. Startled, she let out a little yelp and immediately turned around to spot the culprit.

"Crocker! Garret Crocker!" she exclaimed in a chastising tone, stamping her foot. "You could have killed me! Watch what you're doing!" And cover your mouth when you're yawning, Dear Batsheeba, you're so unmannerly.

His wand clattered to the floor as he was startled out of his almost dream-like state by the shrill voice of none other than Daphne Crocker, "m'sorry, Daff," he said, retrieving his wand then walking across the floor to where she was, completely ignoring the fact that there was a lesson still going on.

"Woah," he touched the blackened spot on the wall of the class where his errant charm had hit, the smell of burning whatever it was still rising with the smoke, "I invented a spell! QUICK!" He whirled round to face Daphne and grabbed her by the shoulders, "Do you remember wot the incantation was?"

Daphne watched him walk sleepily towards the smoking wall warily. This boy--he needed to be watched constantly! He was a danger to himself and the entire school population! Nodding affirmatively, Daphne vowed to herself that she'd just have to shadow his steps from now.

To keep the world safe.

"Garret!" she shouted again when his hand flew to the scorched hole. "Don't touch that! Are you mad?" Stomping towards him, tugged at his arm. "Get away. Don't touch--" ARRGH. HE WAS SHAKING HER! "Stoppit!" By all means, she resisted the urge to kick him on the shins. "I don't know. I couldn't be bothered to pay you attention then."

Truth. Brutal Honesty. It was a cruel world.

"Something....Ray AH?" ventured Daphne with raised brows. She had just totally pulled that out of the left Quidditch hoop. Meanwhile, behind them, the hole continued to smoke; gray wisps floating up into the air ominously.

Fire? Smoke? What catastrophe are you talking about, Daphne?

"ARGH!" he winced and leaned his head away from her, "Why do you always shout, woman?!" Alright, so maybe he was the one with the overly loud voice. But the fact of the matter was he had invented a rather cool spell, and she couldn't even make the effort to remember what it was and write it down for him!

"Try harder!" he urged her, suddenly awake now that things were interesting again, "I think it started with an Ah-"

"AH!" he jumped a foot in the air and then forwards onto Daphne as he felt a burning sensation on the back of his body, "DAFF I'M ON FIRE!!!" It seemed he had invented a fast spreading, non-extinguishable fire!

"I don't shout!" she shouted back angrily! Denial. Daphne Hopton knew all about it.

Unable to respond to his stuuupid incantation prodding, Daphne yelped for the second time in the last four minutes as Garret sped towards her. Side-stepping from him, Miss Hopton watched in horror as...the back of Garret's robes were smoking--and just a tiiiiny bit on fire. "You are on fire," mused the blond in awe.

"Quick!" he shouted at her again, at anybody in the class, really, as he started swatting at his back with his wand hand (which, unfortunately still held his wand). This action only served to cause sparks to emit from his wand tip and make the situation worse, "Heeeelllpppp!"

What the hell was that water charm? If ONLY he'd paid attention in class!

Then stared some more.

Before she rolled her eyes. "You are completely--" Vulnerable, she thought with a touch of pity. TEEHEE. Crocker was asking for her help! He was going to owe her BIG time in the future. "Stop doing that!" ordered the blond ripping the wand from Garret's nervous fingers. "You're only making it worse."

Clearing her throat, she aimed her wand at Garret's moving back. "Aguamenti!"

SHOWEERRRR.
