Nikita found a seat in the back of the train so that she'd be one of the last to leave Hogwarts. She could see it up on the hill for longer than if she was in the middle or front of the train, and that was what she wanted. Feeling a tear slip well up in her eye, Nikita shook her head to clear it. There were positive things about this. Mainly, she was of age and could get away from Campbell Manor. A seaside cottage sounded nice, or a house with a mountain view...or maybe a cute apartment in Madrid or Paris or Venice. Flame, sitting on her lap, purred as if he read that thought.

Hogwarts would be missed, but it would always hold some of her best memories.

After a few seconds, it became apparent to the 14 year old that her fellow Claws had not paid any attention to her Huffie friend. Laying a gentle hand on Wesley's shoulder, Mariel said, "Hey, Wesley, Sarah and I are going to be in this compartment a few doors down if you'd like to join us later." She gestured towards the door she had just seen Sarah disappear into. There. Wesley could decide for herself if she wanted to continue to try to talk to her yearmates who seemed oblivious to their surroundings or come join her friends.

She gave her a tired smile and continued on down the corridor until she reached Sarah's compartment. Flashing her a winning grin, she pulled her trunk and Pandora's cage through the door and plopped herself down on the seat accross from her yellow-clad friend. Leaning back, she stretched her feet out in front of her. "Surprisingly enough," she said, "I'm actually looking forward to going home." Of course, she might change her mind once she walked through her front door. "Oh, I saw Wesley out there, too, and I invited her to come join us. She was trying to talk to some kids and I don't think they heard her." Shrugging to herself, she pulled out the latest issue of Quidditch World. Good idea to have a subscription owled directly to her at school!

Startled at the sound of the door sliding back,Sarah's head snapped up just in time to see her friend Mariel grin at her and enter the compartment.Keeping her head resting on the window frame she responded with a little wave and a tired "Hello".She watched as Mariel stored her things and chuckled when she said she was looking forward to going home. "Yeah,I am too.Can't wait to see my family,although I wish we could bring our four-poster beds with us," she laughed,straightening herself out in her seat, "it's luxurious compared to mine at home!"

Reaching forward into her bag,Sarah pulled out a battered old copy of 'Hound of the Baskervilles'.She had borrowed it from her dad's collection of books before term,but luckily for her,forgot to take it to school with her meaning it was safe from the floods.Her parents had kindly sent it along with the package of spare clothes half way through term,and she was now near the end.Glancing up at Mariel as she also got herself comfy,Sarah was surprised to hear that Wesley was close by. "Really? I never saw her.Must have been too busy trying to keep my eyes open and watch where I was going.Well I hope she does come along,it'll be nice to have her here for her first train journey home."
Taking a quick peek at what Mariel was reading,Sarah nodded to herself.Yep Quidditch,I should have known.At least it gives me ideas for birthday presents.

The small lemur was almost scared to death and its eyes and was now moving all over Cam. Cam snatched the small lemur back in his arms and started petting it--again, hoping ANOTHER incident wouldn't happen.

Would this whole train journey give his poor lemur some sort of a coma?!

"Youuu bettah say sorry to 'err," he nodded at Cedar, because animal cruelty was not allowed in his world and must be STOOOPPPEDD with a sorry. Yes.

He looked back at Feeyo--no it was Faiyo, right--OH it was FYO. It was an easy name to remember... but suuuurely he forgot about it with all of the term's events. "Oh. Right. Fyo. Hi, again," he greeted, still petting Mosi and making sure not to rest his arm on his lap again--in case someone else was going to sit on it.

And eeeeeep, there were so many conversations going at once here!

"Chyeaaaah, that Mermaaaaid Princess was AWESOME. She had like MUMBO JUMBO," he told them, imitating the mermaid princess's weird finger move thingy she did, "and she went like a AAIYIIAYIYIYIYIIEEEGJKAGDD and broooke ALL of the glass," he screeched, yet again hoping the compartment door was soundproof, "and then CHYEAH."

Totally.

And then Fyo was now giving him a HUGE smile, it freaked him out only just a biiit but SMILING was always allowed right? HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY. "I'm... doing awesomelyyy awesomely awesome." It was noooot true, because he didn't want to leave from Hogwarts... oh the food. Sniff.

Then... back to Reese.

"Yes, Reese, I knowwwwww," now, and eyed Nakato that was still on her lap. "And yahhhh, ya all better learn Mermish, who KNOWS whenever they'll come back--maybe not next year but ... just in case, alright!" Notes? His notes? Ohhh yes! Cam had notes too, though he was gonna have a hard time reading all of them, obviously because he had scribbled way too fast at the library.

Fun, dangerous terms were always the best terms.

Nakato, though not scared of the human, stared at her right in the eyes and the human started petting her, her hands smelled even nicer than her master's. With that, she crawled around and around the human until she reached the shoulder, looking back at her master and then back at the human, touching her neck with her cabbage-smelling hands.

"Yessss, yes he does," Cam told Reese when she talked about his dad, "and dun woooorrrry, I have some bear repellent I always bring along with meee!" Not in his possession right now but... there ought to be some sort of a bear repellent in Diagon Alley right? He hoped so... he didn't want to be eaten by an animal. "And my mum's tended tons of bear cubs before, and even a few polar bears, and a loooot'ta other creatures," he added.

BUT STILL...

"Heh, thankssss, the least I could find are bowtruckles really--I want to find more than just that, maybe even a few Clabbertsss if we're lucky, though, I don't know wheeeeeere exactly we're camping so eh," he told Reese and the more he talked, the moooore excited he got!

Talking about Leema? OOOH! "No noooo, Torin, see, Leema IS a lemur. She's a LemurWoman--I heard that she's human by day and lemur by night, saving innocent civilians in the Wizarding World from dangerous creatures!"

He nodded seriously.

Cameron sure talked a lot. It was hard to get half of what he was saying. Though he did catch the end of it.

"I see..." was all he could say about that Lima comment. He was totally baffled. "So your friend turns into a lemur at night and fights crime?" And people thought he was weird.

She sat some of her stuff on the ground so she was able to open the compartment door. "Hey guys," she said. "I hope you don't mind if I join you two." She picked her stuff back up and headed into the compartment. She put her trunk up on the rack and sat her two animal cages on the ground next to the seat. After closing the compartment door back, she took a seat next to Jack.

And Reese was leaving? What was with her and ditching people out of nowhere? She had a special talent for that or something. "Later? he called out to her retreating back as she left the compartment. Well, on the bright side she couldn't yell at him about the love potion anymore right now. hehe.

"Thanks for the help, Reesekitty," Fyo said, sliding her an appreciative grin. Thank God for people who could remember three-lettered names. Besides, it wasn't such a difficult name, was it? Even though one of those All-Star team players had spelled it "Fio."

Fyo laughed. "I'm not greeting you again," he said, with a shake of his head. "Three dozen hellos are enough for half an hour, I think." Tee hee. "I'm good, but I don't think I want to leave Hogwarts. Of course, after all that homework, a break is always appreciated. And I'm looking forward to seeing mum, dad and Nova - that's my little sister."

"It doesn't sound fun, it is fun! Hey, you were at the camp-out end of this term, weren't you? Did you have fun?"

Honestly, this compartment boggled him. People came, people left, people returned - - and people left again. Fyo sat there, wondering what on earth was going on. Crowds.... disturbed him.

"She was? Really? And you never told me?" BAD Lion. BAD! Evil Lion hiding things from him. "What Team was she on?" Wow, this was so cool! He wondered if she was ever as famous as any of the players he had seen in the autograph tent. But his faovurite of them had been Professor Bunbury. "I hope my autograph didn't break in it's frame," he added randomly.

And now he was laughing. "We all know that you would die there without me." Even with Alice there. 'cause Torin was way better than any stupid girlfriend. Even though he sorta liked Alice now. He suddenly wondered why she wasn't here with Fyo.

Torin was snorting like a pig.. haha. He want to laugh too but fortunately, He didn't. "TORIN!! you can laugh you know, Don't hide your laugh, you nearly sound as a pig" He chuckled then grinned at him. But the way Shana was on Torin's lap was kinda funny too. Being stuck with a loony girl on your lap, sucks!

Suddenly, He turned sad and serious again. So he was not the only one who was sad about going home. "Okay, I admit it. I'm sad too." He smiled weakly still standing in front of them all. At least he unleashed his true feelings, and it'll make things better than before.

Uh-oh Yes. So beside Reese was an empty seat. Finally, He can seat now. Haha. He was glad that he wasn't sat next to Shana who were in Torin's lap. He'll choose Reese to be seated with than the loony girl who just told her while they were at hogwarts that boys were ALIENS. "Hey Reese" He grinned. All the sad memories was being dragged away by his friends' happy faces.

He grinned, suddenly remembering him telling Cedric the same thing when he found out about Bunbury. It was just too amusing. "Okay, fine. And you can laugh about Shana being on my lap. Seeing as it clearly amuses you." Fair was fair. And it was sorta amusing, even he had to see that.

"And cheer up, mate. You will be back here soon. I miss Professor Bunbury though." Sad. Sad. Sadness.

As Laura and Thomas were discussing about owls Bella wondered if she could get one."i'll need to ask my mum and take dad's permission," she thought. she looked out of the window she was going back to London. she didnt know who was going to come and pick her up..."hope Jacob comes," thought Bella, "i really miss him more than any body," she said to herself and turned her head towards her friends to listen what they were talking about

A tiny article had reported that Keiran Kavanaugh of the Kenmare Kestrals would be missing their next game due to a mysterious hex that had landed him in St Mungo's. Hmmm, maybe I could go visit... No, he's probably in a private and secluded room being a famous athlete. Shaking herself from her reverie as Sarah mentioned Wesley. Mariel glanced up at the door. No sign of her. Hopefully she didn't get lost on the way... Or maybe those other Claws opened up to her and invited her in. Turning back to Sarah, she nodded. "I'm sure she'll be along soon. She seemed a little nervous... I think she'd be more at ease with her friends." Meaning her and Sarah. The poor girl seemed so scared of everything. Hopefully hanging around the two older girls would instill some confidence in her. Suddenly getting an idea, the 14 year old smiled to herself. She would make it her personal project to help Wesley become a confident, strong young woman.

Turning towards Pandora as she let out an indignant hoot. Mariel pulled some owl treats out oof her pocket, tossed them through the cage, and said, "Well, if she doesn't come along soon, we can keep an eye out for her once we step out for the lunch trolley." In a little while anyway, because right now Mariel needed a little rest. Tucking her legs up under her, she copied Sarah's pose and laid her own head upon the window.

Her timing was impeccable.Just as Mariel asked her if she was tired,she yawned - loudly. "Is it that obvious?" she giggled,rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. "I was up late packing,didn't want to leave anything behind,and thank you,I'm sure I will nod off at some point.It's nice you don't mind." Sarah nodded as Mariel spoke of finding somewhere on her own or with friends.She was a chatty person when she opened up,but right now was not the time to get to know new people.People who,on first glance among the other compartments,were fully awake. "Hmmm I thought the same.It would be so rude going to sleep in front of someone you don't know that well." Sighing,she set down her book momentarily and re-tied the band in her long brown hair.

Picking up her book again,Sarah thumbed through the pages to get back to the spot she had left off at.She had just started reading again when Mariel spoke about it. "Hmmm? Oh yeah it is.My dad leant it to me,he's got loads of books at home,including the one you just mentioned......" she stopped and flicked to the front to see if there was a list of the other books available.There wasn't,and she was darned if she could remember them right now.Glancing back up at her friend Sarah smiled. "Of course you can borrow it! I'm sure my dad won't mind,he's read it tons of times before,won't be in any rush for it.In fact I'll probably be finished before we reach London,you can have it then." Smiling broadly,she went back to her reading as Mariel scanned her magazine.

Sarah followed Mariel's gaze up to the door when Wesley was mentioned again.She'd better be alright if she is staying with those Ravenclaws,nobody messes with their Wesley and gets away with it. "Poor old Wes,she's always nervous about something," Sarah sighed,taking a chocolate bar out of her pocket and eyeing Mariel with suspicion.Was she up to something? That looked like a sly smile that just crossed her lips. "What are you thinking?" she suddenly said,her own grin spreading across her face. "You looked like you were planning something in your head."

Sarah's mouth watered as Mariel fed Pandora,making her look down at her own food.The only food she had with her.Luckily she had enough money to get something from the trolley,and nodded her agreement with Mariel's plan. "Yep good idea,but hopefully we'll see her soon or the train will be in London before we know it!" Taking a bite out of her chocolate,Sarah let out a sigh. "I may need something else soon,my stomach is grumbling.Will you want anything? I've some spare change for a couple of cauldron cakes." Hmmmm food.

Not only was it a tremendous amount of effort to make his writig legible, but it always meant alot of waiting around, something Jake hated doing. When he wanted to talk to someone, he usually wanted it done straight away. Alot of things could happen in the space of an owl journey.

Fyo raised an eyebrow. God, cool? He wasn't sure he liked the way she put that, but he let it pass. "Yeah, it's cool to know what your name means," he agreed. His jaw actually dropped open at her last statement, though. Chocolate - she was allergic to chocolate?

"You're joking!" he said, pausing in the act of petting Kota. "I mean, who in the name of Merlin's share of milk-chocolate doesn't like chocolate?" Who, indeed? This just wasn't possible!

Lacey took a seat next to Fyo. "Kota, you are such a bad dog. You know better." She said. She reached in her bag and pulled out a treat. "Do you want to give it to him, Fyo?" She asked. "I've had him for awhile, I just had to keep him in the doorm room. His name is Kota."

"Cool with your family! Sure, thanks!" she took one and it tasted like strawberry jam. "Mmmm, strawberry jam!"

"Hmm," said Thomas looking into the box, "How come I never got strawberry jam. So unfair," he said folding his arms.

He looked out of the window and Hogwarts was no where in sight. He saw that his owl was asleep but thank goodness he was so awake so he wouldn't feel so jealous. It was getting dark outside so it will be soon time to sleep but Thomas guessed that he won't sleep to night.
