She was going home. Away from Hogwarts, after a long term. For seven years, she had done the same thing. But now it was oh so different, she was going home for good - leaving Hogwarts. Just the thought made Sarah crack a hugeee smile. She was finally freeeee. No moore homework. No moree worrying about exams. No moore being stuck between walls that were so very familiar now. Dude. Sarah Corner was freee. If now only she could share the bubbling enthusiasm with anyonee. Because till now all the seventh year she came across were moping- which made her scowl, because she did not understand why anyone would want to spend their last few hours together all sad like. Seven years at Hogwrats and still people lacked a sane brain. Sarah was, however thinking of a few people who had the brains to understand her happiness. "EVAAAAAAAAAANNGEEELINEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" she randomly called out as loudly as she could - Why would she do such a thing, you may ask? Because she could. Because she was going home now. And she could be crazy and no one had the right to mind. She looked across the compartments, students were everywhere - one of them just had to be Evangeline right? Maybe she was seated at the front of the train? Fine. Sarah would yell her best friends name there too. But for now, she had to make sure Evangeline wasn't somewhere over here. "EVAAAAAAANGEEEELINEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" |

Dear. This guy was going to beat Jake up because HE obviously loved Shana and was jealous of Jake because Shana liked HIM even though Jake hadn't done anything about it yet. Hiding any emotions on his face, Jake nodded. "Yeah, I know her... erm... why?" Quote:
"But, why would you want to do that?" he asked, concentration etched on every square inch of his face. He didn't get it. |

"They're muggles, though," Laura added as an after thought. Quote:

"Oh. That is similar if my dad tells me that we're returning to Denmark," said Thomas thinking of the dreadful situation she was in. "So are you going to learn in a muggle school or a wizardry school?" he asked her softly. Hopefully she was alright that he was asking so many questions. He just couldn't believe that Laura was leaving just hopefully his dad wouldn't get the idea. |
Sarah was tired,oh so tired. She been up half the night trying to get all her things together and packed into her trunk. The last thing she wanted was to find that she'd left something behind, wouldn't be able to get it for over a month. Having deposited her trunk with all the others, she set off down the train hoping to find somewhere quiet to have nap.Dragging her bag behind her she yawned loudly every couple of minutes and had a hard time trying to keep her eyes open.Glancing inside all the compartments as she went,Sarah was dismayed to find that most were already occupied. Not that she was an unsocial person, but she really just wanted to sleep.Eventually she discovered an empty compartment right at the back of the train and having fought her way past several other people to reach it,slid open the door and went inside. Stepping up on the seat,Sarah placed her bag in the overhead rack and clambered back down.Settling herself on the comfy bench seat, she leant against the window frame and started to nod off. |

"Well, I haven't decided if I'm gonna go yet," she said with a shrug. "But hopefully I'd go to a Wizarding school." |
"Well yes my father is danish and so is my mum. I left Denmark when I was seven. We left because in the winter it was really cold and we think it is better here in winter and in summer instead of Denmark," said Thomas giving a danish accent on the last word. "I visit Denmark at the summer for nearly a week but it always feels like we never left, the days in the U.K go so much faster then the days in Denmark," he said trying to remember the miniature mansion they lived in. |

"I have no choice Jake." She sighed, moving up so she was sat beside him. "I have to go. I dont want too. But. I've learnt everything I need to learn." |
Mummyyy! <33 Oh, this book was not good. Not good at all. Then again, she had borrowed Peter's book about the adventures of a mute banshee. It sounded boring even before you started reading it, but, unfortunately, it was the only book she had around that she hadn't read yet. Now she knew why. This train journey SUCKED. First it had been depressing, now it was being boring. Eh. At least she had candy with her - lately, it seemed Evangeline always had candy with her. Popping another lemondrop into her mouth, Evangeline flipped the page of her book .. and then .... SALVATION! That was clearly Sarah Corner's voice calling her name? Pushing the bag of candy off her lap and onto the seat, Evangeline stood up and ran to the door. SQUEEEEEEE!! IT WAS SARAH!! She opened the door of the compartment and stuck her head out. "Oi, Corner? People around aren't deaf, you know?" EEEEEEEE!!! |

"People do this every year," he said, thickly. Last year it was Lima and Kayla, this year it was Vannie and... well, he hoped no-one else. "I hope it doesn't happen next year... I don't like it." Screwing his eyes up, Jake pouted and looked to Vannie. "Don't." |

"Jake." She spoke, moving over and putting her arm around his shoulders, so she could hug him. "If I had a choice I wouldn't be going. I dont want to go. Just ask Professor Morgan." She closed her eyes. She shouldn't have mentioned her. "I'll still be able to write to you." |

Tammy stood frozen outside the compartment she had just left Eva in and she looked dead ahead coming to terms with what she ahd done. It wasnt nice of her to bring up the past, but Eva made her do it. She did she did! Not fun. Not fun at all. Atleast she only had one more year to look forward to, despite it was going to cause her much pain when she had to leave. Oh gawd. Why couldnt Hogwarts go on forever and ever. And you never had to leave. Like a permanent second home? Permanent as in you never had to leave. Sniffle. WOAH! ... Why on earth was Tammy wasting brain time on Eva when the girl obviously didnt want anything to do with her? Because she had been her best friend. HAD BEEN. Those were the key words now. Had been, not anymore friends. She gave her lip a little chew as she pondered where to go, she liked being at the back of the train it could get her peace. Only sometimes. Guh. She peeked in through the windows on the doors of a couple of compartments and she shrugged to herself each time. Each one had sets of friends in it, and she wasnt going to make herself seem the nasty one by intruding. Maybe walking up and down the corridor parts could help clear her head. Well she hoped. |

As she lugged her trunk behind her at the back of the train, Mariel's weary eyes glanced around for any sign of familiarity. The Ravenclaw was a bit too tired for too much conversation, so an empty compartment or one with someone she already knew so her company wouldn't be put off by her sleepiness was her best bet, she thought. Slow footsteps brought her closer to her friend Sarah, still too far away to say 'hello', but Mariel was intent on following her into what appeared to be an empty compartment. As she got closer, Mariel noticed another of her Hufflepuff friends ahead of her and to her left, standing just inside a compartment door. Curiosity getting the better of her, she stood back behind Wesley as she murmured a greeting to a few first year Ravenclaws that Mariel had noticed in the common room, yet failed to get their names. After a few seconds, it became apparent to the 14 year old that her fellow Claws had not paid any attention to her Huffie friend. Laying a gentle hand on Wesley's shoulder, Mariel said, "Hey, Wesley, Sarah and I are going to be in this compartment a few doors down if you'd like to join us later." She gestured towards the door she had just seen Sarah disappear into. There. Wesley could decide for herself if she wanted to continue to try to talk to her yearmates who seemed oblivious to their surroundings or come join her friends. She gave her a tired smile and continued on down the corridor until she reached Sarah's compartment. Flashing her a winning grin, she pulled her trunk and Pandora's cage through the door and plopped herself down on the seat accross from her yellow-clad friend. Leaning back, she stretched her feet out in front of her. "Surprisingly enough," she said, "I'm actually looking forward to going home." Of course, she might change her mind once she walked through her front door. "Oh, I saw Wesley out there, too, and I invited her to come join us. She was trying to talk to some kids and I don't think they heard her." Shrugging to herself, she pulled out the latest issue of Quidditch World. Good idea to have a subscription owled directly to her at school! |
CHOOOO! CHOOOO! Melanie walked down the ailse, clutching a trunk a trunk...well actually kinda dragging a trunk and carrying her cat's carrier in the other hand (apparently they were rather helpful when you had a cat that had the need to pounce on anything that moved). She normally loved the train ride...you got to hang out with your friends and talk and have fun before you said goodbye for the summer... But the one thing she hated about the train ride home was that it didn't really take her home. Hogwarts was home and it was taking her away... It would be taking her to Kings Cross station, from which she would travel to New York City... where she would waste the summer away in her dad's apartment. Not the funnest place ever but it could be worse. Annnnnnnyway, her mind preoccupied with thoughts of leaving and her summer and BLAHBlahBLAH the second year promptly walked SMACK into a sixth year girl quite a few inches taller than her! How Fabulous. As she looked up a small squeak escaped her lips, thoroughly convinced the girl was going to slap her beside the head or do something equally horrifying... But as she recognized the girl, and a triumphant grin spread across her face. "T-Tammy?" she blurted out, hoping she'd gotten it right. "You're Natasha's cousin." Melanie informed her matter-oh-factually, jogging her memory. Ahhhh, at last she'd found someone she knew... and she didn't appear the type that would punch her out for walking into her. "I remember you from the feast. Sorry, I walked into you, I was....just thinking." she asked hopefully, glancing up at the Hufflepuff girl, who now didn't seem nearly as tall as she did before. Or....violent. In fact, the girl did seem to be a bit upset. "Is everything okay?" she asked softly, as she took notice, wondering if it was just the train ride home or something more.... and wondering at the same time, if she should have just kept quiet about it. Eh, she was too nosy for her own good. Hopefully Tammy wouldn't mind. |
Laa dee daa.Shanan hummed quietly to herself,Still sitting on Torins lap.She couldn't stay here for the whole journey home it just wasn't possible. She'd die or something and that would not be good.Nu-huh.She turned her head and looked around then looked out of the window,Still sitting on Torins lap and, then she heard something..she turned her head and looked out of compartment window,MELLY! She looked at Torin and sighed.Jumping off his lap she smiled and walked towards the compartment door.Sliding it open, she walked slightly out and poked Mel.Heeey Rockstarrr. |
See plans of Sarah Corner never failed. You could just stand in the middle of a crowded train and yell out your best friends name and there pops out her pretty head out a compartment. It might have taken her longer if she checked every compartment. Yes, Sir. Sarah rolled her eyes when she heard Evangeline. She mouthed a "OH PULEEZ" in her direction and made her way towards the compartment - almost poking and hurting a lot of people along the way. Blame her wanting to fly towards some fun. "Finaaaaaally" she announced, once reaching the compartment. " .. I thought I lost you," she sighed a dramatic sigh in Evangeline's department. "And I was half expecting you to be leading the pack of depressed seventh years " Grin. |

Yup, taht was her name. No use in wearing it out. She ignored where it was coming from for a few seconds. It was probably Eva. And Tammy didnt want ANYTHING to do with her. She was horrible, and she had now more than likely ruined Tammys summer. And Tam didnt like people doing that. She liked summer. Indeedy she did. natashas cousin? Okay so that proved it wasnt Eva. It had to be one of Natashas friends. "Yeah, im her cousin. Aaaand. No. I have no idea where she is." She spoke matter of factyly still not plucking up the courage to look and see who it weas she was having the 'conversation' with. i renember you from the feast. How could one of Natashas friends renember her if she had never met any of them? Sigh. Now she had to turn around and see who it was. She cocked her head slightly to get a view of the female talking to her and a small smile came to her face. "Oh uh.. Hi Melanie. Sorry about that. I thought you were someone else." She apologised turnign her whole body to face the younger girl. sorry i waslked into you? "You walked into me?" Woah, she must have been totally preoccupied because she hadnt at all felt anything. It could have been the willpower to not cry that stopped her from havinbg any realization of the collision. YES! Somethign is wrong. Tammy wanted to scream but the willpower in not to cry made her not do it. She shook her head with all the lyihng strength she had left from the school year and gave the younger girl a tiny smile. "Nothings wrong, just thinking about how I only have one more train ride until I fdinish school really." |

Rockstar? She ignored her cat who's soft hiss could be heard inside his carrier, hoping Shana would do the same. He'd obviously smelled her pygmy puffs... Thankfully her couldn't get out though, she'd learned her lesson last term and that was why he was locked safely inside the carrier. Even if in her opinion Momo was innocent, for some reason unknown to Melanie, not too many people seemed to agree. Quote:
Was she, Melanie Lockhart, being ignored? Naaaaaaaah, ridiculous. The second year, skipped over back toward Tammy, positioning herself in front of her once more....though Tammy still didn't appear to be looking at her. Melanie looked over at Shana, to see if she was looking away wondering if her hair was askew or if she'd somehow managed to dump cereal on herself that morning without noticing, but she'd already turned away to talking to a boy from her compartment. At least she was sure of who the ignorer was now though, she'd admitted to being Nat's cousin. "AHa! I knew it!" she said triumphantly, raising a fist up in the air, as if she was a detective who'd only just figured out who'd committed a crime. "And you're name's Tammy, riiight?" she asked her excitedly, just to be sure. "It's too bad you haven't seen her..." Pout. "I haven't either." Melanie replied, glancing around as if she expected Natasha to jump out of the shadows somewhere. No such luck though.... But as she turned back, Tammy was apologizing, AND looking at her... Happy Day! "It's alright... And yeah I did... sorta walk into you." she answered, blinking widely with surprise as she informed her she hadn't even noticed... a little odd. "If you say so." Melanie decided not to push it...If she didn't want to talk about it she didn't want to talk about it and that was that. "That's too bad, though." she said sympathetically, giving her a hug and frowning slightly. "I have a bunch, but I have no idea how I'm going to handle it when I have to go." she added, frowning slightly at the thought. "I don't blame you for being upset. Hogwarts is like...even better than Disney world. They lie when they say it's the happiest place on earth." she informed her, dropping her voice to a whisper as she spoke. "It's true...I'll bet the wizarding work worlds pretty cool too though. Tons of different jobs to do." she told her, grinning at the thought. "You'll probably like the Wizarding world once you get out of Hogwarts too." |
