"No, no, no. Hold up just a moment. It's not just a matter of muttering, 'Whatever you say' and then strolling on about your business," Anna said, stepping back out into the hallway.She prefered to get along well with people and to not have to be forced to implement any prefect or Head Girl actions, but if an appropriate agreement couldn't be made, then so be it. "Look, I'm not here to be the bad guy in the situation, but I have a job to do, and that job includes making sure all of the students act accordingly throughout the duration of this school year. That includes time spent at school, as well as time on the train and in Hogsmeade."

"The words you've spoken, not to mention the spell you just casted, were completely out of line. I may be one of your fellow students, but I'm also the Head Girl, which means I can---and will---see to it that you are punished for any misdoings. See this as a warning. I expect you and your friend to either remain on good terms or agree to disagree. Oh, and the next time I speak to you, we'll have more of a conversation than 'Whatever you say, Anna'. Either that, or I'll see you in the Headmaster's office shortly after the feast is over. By the way, I don't believe we've been properly introduced. I'm Anna Greingoth, it was nice speaking to you, and I hope you enjoy the remainder of your train ride. Catch ya later!"

Nate gave a rief smile to Lasca as she said no harm done. His hair.. he could deal with and maybe later.. he would deal with this guy. If he thought about it later.

Lasca invited someone to come sit with them. he agave a short nod of the head as his mind began to wonder over the things that had happened recently. He shook his head from the thoughts trying to at least give a little attetion to the girls, they were.. sitting with him.

*Gabben stopped* "Yes ma'm" *He went back on his way looking around. Someones really taking on the head girl job this year he thought. He would have to make sure he stayed out of her path.*

Lasca rolled her eyes at the Huffie male. Watch what? "There is nothing for you to let go. So why don't you just be on your way already?" Goodness. Can you say ego? Guys like that just iritated her to no end. Taking a deep calming breath she reverted her attention to the other girl present. Dipping to a curtsy, she smiled.

"Pleasure. I'm Lasca. Your new here as well, yes?" Okay, finally some civilized conversation. Gesturing to the seat across from herself and Nate Lasca finally sat back down. With a sweeping motion she made sure her skirt was presentable and then crossed her ankles. She wasn't going to relax totally as the Huffie still hadn't made his exit.

Out of the corner of her eye she tried to gauge Nate's reaction. She wasn't quite sure if he welcomed her company, she certainly didn't want to force her presence on anyone.

"No. I am a Fifth Year Ravenclaw." Pyralis replied. "You are?"She took a seat and pushed back her brown orange-streaked hair showing her pointed ears.

Mari looked over her shoulder at Cayden, laughing a bit as he said they needed to find a way to duplicate the rooms, for privacy reasons. She knew what he meant and she nodded, pushing some of her hair back away from her face as she did. " That would make more sense."She said as he shut the door behind himself.

She set her things down as she spoke and soon she was seated comfortably next to Cayden, watching the scenery pass by in comfortable silence. She turned to look at him as he asked about Elizabeth and she nodded. " Yes, she will be. She...took it as well as one can, I suppose." She said vaguely. She reached over and took his hand in hers, laying her head back against the seat as she thought for a moment. " How are you feeling? Better than before?" She asked, mentioning the somewhat odd visit to Diagon Alley.

Nate looked up to see Gabben still there and rolled his eyes letting out a breath. Seemed this boy was going to drive him nuts this year. He gave a look to Lasca as she sat down. She was.. very.. proper. Something nate hadnt been around alot. He straightened up a bit feeeling the need to be more presentable infront of her. he saw her glance at him and gave her a small smile.
Looking to the new girl, he listened as she said she was a fifth year ravenclaw. "Im a fourth year Slytherin. Im Nate" he said giving her a brief smiel. Never trust anyone his fathers word sprang into his head as he sat with them. He wped the memory from his mind and looked back to Lasca.

She was different. Not at all anything that Nate had come across and it interested him. They would most likely become good friends,... at least thats what Nate hoped. Again his fathers words rose in his head but he forced them back.

Lasca smiled and shook her head. "No. Third year Ravenclaw. Nate here is new, moved here from America." She gestured to him and gave him a small smile. Now that she got the chance she noticed he was quite handsome. He did have a bit of a temper but what teenage male didn't?

Turning back to Pyralis, she noticed the girls ears and wondered at her origins. As it was rude to ask she decided to a safer, and politer topic. "Pyralis thats a beautiful name." Okay, that was a bit lame but what else could a girl do? The young Ravenclaw had to admit that everything that had just happened was catching up with her, that and the realization that she found Nate cute. When did that happen?

"Nice to meet you,Nate." Pyralis crossed her legs and looked around the room. "All of you."She smiled her I-turn-heads-smile. She never did this on purpose it just happened."Thank you. I like it."She noticed the girl Lasca glanced at her ears. "I'm elvish."She explained.

Nate gave a smile back to Pyralis. "Nice to meet you too" he said as he began twirling his wand around absentmindedly in his fingers once more.

Dru just managed to clamber onto the back end of the train before it sped away. Not that it was HER fault she almost missed it, her brother was terrible at timekeeping and forgot to finish work an hour early like he was supposed to.

Dru walked down the corridor, looking into the different compartments as she went, learning random things about the people she would be going to school with, such as one of them being American.

She found the last empty compartment, sat down next to the window and stared out as the speeding landscape, hoping that she would survive 'big school'.

"It would be logical. Maybe second time around we could suggest it." it would be weird to come back. seeing everything around them changing just a little even though things were the same. He turned his attention to her as she spoke about elizabeth. Or his name for her would be chatter box. He hardly use it anymore though. "That's Good to hear." he looked back at the chair across from them as he looked at his owl."I'm glad she decided to be your friend still. I know how much you like her." Elizabeth was her best friend here at hogwarts and she would need her.

He focused on her once again as she asked how he was feeling." Im feeling much better. Ive figured it out. Much more relaxed. It seems a little funny to think about it now. I was really paranoid wasnt i?" he asked her as he was sure the answer was going to be yes."I think we should play a game." he told her as it would help with the time passing. If you could call it that. "See who can find the most interesting conversation?"

"Elvish? Wow. Where are you from if you don't mind my asking?" Well that was a new one. The only elves that Lasca had even met were of the house variety. She noticed her smile and felt oddly self consious. The young Ravenclaw was in no way insecure about herself, nor was she as egotist when it came to that sort of thing, but sitting here with her. It was a bit disconcerting.

Trying desperately to push that feeling away, she tried to get Nate in on the conversation as well. "I believe we were interrupted before you could tell me where you were from as well. I know you said America but where?" Taking a deep breath she reined in her scattered feelings and emotions and got herself back under control. Control was always key.

Head Girl. Katie was still wrapping her mind around all these things about Hogwarts, all of the Professors and classes and positions and students. Oh so many students. How did the Professors even keep track of everyone? Will said the castle was huge, like giant huge. That she could easily get lost, but the portraits talked and they were usually friendly.. but so were some older students. Like Anna. "That's a big difference, isn't it?" She asked, thoughtfully, considering what first year would be like. Katie didn't know what seventh year would be like either, but she had been around enough seventh year graduates over summer to atleast have a tiny idea; her brother and sister being two of them.

"We're not!" For the first time, Kaitlynnh smiled brightly upon saying this. This was a little bit of comfort to her, though part of her didn't think she should bother Anna much.. being in her final year, plus the Head Girl, she would be busy. Sammy and Sarah would both be in their final year too. "He is. He's.. my friend; He's a boy though. So I don't really say that when they're around. Any of the boys, I mean. Best not inflate their egos," she rolled her eyes playfully towards the ceiling of the train, dark brown that had been full of tears when she aboard the train danced with sudden happiness.

Katie gave a nod, not surprised Legend hadn't run into Anna or visaversa. What did surprise her was he wasn't with Mat or Cy, perhaps he was with Jae? Ohh.. and what came out of Anna's mouth next, THAT surprised her. Wide-eyed, Kaitlynnh gasped. Her childish brain screamed EWWWW, but the words didn't come out. She wasn't at a loss of words, because oh believe me there was too much going through her head; Katie couldn't seem to find her voice for a second. Just a mere second, after Anna asked that HORRIBLE question. "Nooooo," The tiny girl shook her head hastily, ignoring the curled locks that whipped around her face, her shock and wounded look washing away into disgust; horrified with the idea alone. "We're only going to be first years!" Katie practically whimpered, hiding behind her arms as not to make her embarrasment known. Or so she hoped.

Taking a deep breath to soothe herself, Kaitlynnh peered up at Anna, feeling the need to explain further. "And.. and I was talking about Legend. Legend Chosen, he's.. another boy. He's my friend, but he also picks on me like the other boys do, and I get them back. It's.. what we do, I don't like him like that." Katie frowned more, if possible. "He wouldn't be my friend anymore if he thought that. And the other boys would never let me live that down. Ever."

"England."Pyralis replied. "We keep hidden just like the witches and wizards."She watched Nate and Lasca. Pyralis was surprised she was being this talkative. Normally she was VERY shy and...backward.

Nate looked out the compartment door as more people rushed past and saw many different people. he had always had a thing for people watching.. maybe it was because of the way his father left him on the park bench for hours at a time.. there was only one thing to do but to watch people.

His attention was drawn back however when Lasca began to speak. elf? Looking at Pyralis he noticed that she was indeed some part elf.. wow. Moving here was sure different from where he was from.

Nates eyes went to Lascas blue ones as she tried to lure him into the conversation. "Im from a state called california. Ever hear dof it?" he asked giving her and Pyralis a smile.

"Yes."Pyralis replied. "You have never heard of an elf?"She asked. Sometimes being telapathic was good.

Nate nodded. "Yes i have hear o an elf but i never knew someone could be.. half or part elf. ITs.. interesting." nate said giving her a shrug of the shoulders. "Nothing personal"

"None taken."Pyralis said. "I am half elf. But how did you know that?? I only said I was elfan I did not say what part. Did I?" Pyralis tilted her head slightly.

Finally they were both talking. Smiling slightly she nodded her head. She too had heard of California. Lasca couldn't help but relax as it seemed her two current companions were as well. She really didn't know where to take the conversation from here, and just decided to see if the two of them could come up with something.

Mariel popped into her mind suddenly, as she remembered leaving her in the compartment along with her owl and Tundra. "Excuse me for a moment? I'll be right back." Rising swiftly she exited the compartment and opened the compartment where she had left her best friend. "Hey, wanna come hang with us for a bit?"

Tundra gave a happy meow and bounded toward her. She felt bad for leaving him and bent down to pick him up. His purrs indicated that he wasn't all that upset with her which made her smile. Her blue eyes once again rested on Mariel and she gave her fellow Claw a questioning look.

Pyralis nodded."Of course"She said."You like her?"She asked Nate once Lasca stepped out of the compartment.

Cy was sitting with his smug grin as he waited for Katie to come into the compartment. The whoopee cushion was waiting, fully loaded. The noise that was soon to issue was going to be epic. The little Aussie looked to the compartment door; it opened.

The eleven year old fully expected the eleven year old Katie Mae to walk in… but no, it wasn’t her. Cy’s dark brown eye’s widened as a GORGEOUS, older girl strutted into his compartment.

Seriously, she was… approximately… the woman of his dreams. Well, as much as an eleven year old could dream anyways.

“’Allo’”. His Aussie accent rang out in response, this was who his girlfriend should be. She deserved someone of his caliber, unlike the nasty little 12 year olds that he was always with. However his nightmare came true as she sat down.

There was a very loud RUPTURE as she sat down. Cyrus couldn’t help it, he started to laugh uncontrollably. It was his own joke, he was 11 years old… how could he NOT laugh?

“Good gracious Sheila?” He asked, shaking his head with a wry grin. “Whot on earth did yah’ eat?” Surely she wouldn’t blame it all on him… he’d be ruined. Hopefully she didn’t feel the whoopee cushion under her, which was currently under the dissilussionment charm.

Nate nodded, "Well i said hlaf or part. i assumed thatyou were with the pointed ears and all. I knew you couldnt be whole or... you know you would have rags on and working somewhere." he said giving another shrug and a smile.

He looked to see Lasca get up and quickly leave givin a farewelll adn Nate looked back to Pyralis. "So.. um.. like it here at Hogwarts?" he asked in an attempt to keep the conversatin afloat. But he was soon interrupted when Pyralis asked him a question. 'Who Lasca? I dont know her but she seems interestng. Not at all like the others.. why you ask?" he asked a little interested actualy.

"My region of elves ,Nate, are not house elves. If they were I would be two or three feet tall. I'm not am I? HMmmm no." Pyralis was getting offended. "I love it here.And yes Lasca. I could tell."She replied.

Lyra's green eyes widened with surprise as she uncrossed her legs and leaned forward. That sooooo was not her but...now everyone was going to look in her direction and...point and laugh and...Awwww! That boy! That cute little boy was poking fun at her now!

She placed her hands over her eyes. It was either play along or die of embarrassment for something that did NOT come from her!

"That was NOT me," she spoke as she looked around the room. "It was...that person." She pointed towards someone walking down the hallway as her cheeks began to blush with color. There was nothing under her and nothing that tooted from her direction. She would KNOW if she did that! So it was just easy enough to play it off. Hopefully no one would ever remember and if she ever found out who did that when she sat would be one less student at Hogwarts.
