Well, this was it! Simone's first train ride to her new school. She suddenly missed Beauxbaton's with a fierceness that she couldnt predict. She missed her friends mostly. Her best friend Brielle was so sad on their last day together, but Simone wanted to be closer to her Aunt. So Hogwart's it is!

She sighed to herself, and continued to walk through the back of the train looking for an empty compartment, passing by so many people with all their friends. "Bummer." She said quietly. Did it have to be so blatently obvious that she was the new girl in town?

Chris noticed the Mat was closer then he was seconds before. That's right they wouldn't know about this, since he was the oldest one he was like the only one that knew this...cool. "Yeah it was kind of weird though. Like all these animals were running around Hogwarts and yeah." He said and nodding. "Oh yeah they were stuck like that for a good 2 or 3 months. But like they found a way to turn them back. But like I said it was a little creepy. I know there was one who was a fox, one a cat, and I think even a weasel." He said trying to remember.

"Yeah! Students really were turned into animals." Chris told Dem.

"That's super cool! It would be fun to be an animal......but only for a little bit. Not for 2-3 months."

... Well at least she was OK so he didn't have to do anything to the girl that almost wrinkled her clothes. Anna was perfection to him and that little bump could have made Anna trip to the floor and then an unnoticed bystander would walk on her and then she would have to go the hospital and miss the whole term. Now THAT would horrible. But... it would have totally happened if he wasn't there so ha. OMG OMG she was coming in.

"Ohaaiiiii." That's my friend Cam? FRIEND? She obviously didn't know that they were unofficially boyfriend and girlfriend now that that Cale is out of the way. Yeaaah. But he didn't mind, maybe that girl that bumped into her caused her some head trauma which came up from her pancreas, to her brain where the memory loss occurred.

He looked at his lemurs as they were eating the insects. Disgusting, but they were eating it all nicely. And... politely, yeah. "Oh yeah, they're my new pets! Juni gave it to me... well actually Cela did but it was Juni's pets originally. I am now their awesome owner," he said with a grin. "That's Mosi," he pointed to the shy-looking lemur, "and that's Nakato."

Anna was looking in disgust and well, he had a LOT to say about that. It was wrong to do and nature had the chance to give these dead insects to these poor animals. If there was no nature... he held back a tear. He was a MAN. He would eat an insect himself to show her that it was... natural? But not now.

Cam looked at the other girl and waved a 'hello'. "Well I'm not really a second year, I'm more like a 1st 3/4 year since I'm not at Hogwarts yet. Nice to meeet ya anyways!" He stared at her hand. She wanted to shake hands with him. He was uncertain, very uncertain. What could she have been touching? What could she have been holding? All he could think was germs and icky bacteria. He had grown a fear of some girls, some he knew, some randomly. This girl... he didn't know but he just stared at her hand with a nervous face. What's worse is, she could've had cooties. Oh, didn't he have some hand sanitizer in his luggage? ...He shook her hand and then managed a smile.

He had just now, made a risky action.

Saved by the boyfriend....

She relaxed and smiled brightly at him. She had actually waited on the platform for him, but the whistle blew and she hadn't spotted him, so she boarded the train.

All thoughts of that mean, ugly Ravenclaw vanished from her head. "Morning," she told him. She patted his hand around her waist. The train jostle, and Paris teetered. "Maybe we should grab a seat." She giggled as she sat down and made space for Steven to sit next to her.

Nothing was more important than know the bottom of that story. In his mind he was almost yelling 'YO PICK ME!!! I WANT TO BE AN ANIMAL TOO!!' This was almost like story time when he was younger. Every bit of the story was capturing his attention. "I would have so love to see that with my own eyes. I've heard rumor about a cheetah and a monkey too." Thinking about the fact that monkey could be sneaky, he could totally see himself as one.

Mat didn't really care if he was strict sometimes. All he knew is that he would be able to talk to him. "Do you think his going to show us some cool move." Standing up he was trying to mimic some movement with an invisible broom.

"My favorite?" A smile ghosted along his mouth as he considered the answer to that question. "I think books, or does that not count? I like books, and..." And what? People, although he was so awkward around them. And water. He loved water, but now was not the time. "What's your favorite thing?"

"I'm sure you know how time can run away from you," he said with forced lightness. He wasn't the sort to air public drama in front of people he didn't know very well. Who was to say one of these girls wasn't a hopeless gossip? "Please just have a..."

"Seat?" Or don't, because it was obvious Paris had a boyfriend. Odd, she'd been giving off a very different vibe. "It's nice to meet you, Tamesis," Cope rose and offered his hand to the other boy. "Copernicus Kettleburn. Sixth year Ravenclaw. You must be the one who stole our fair Paris's heart."

Anna noticed the way the little girl sighed. She was probably relieved her little embarrassing moment was over. Anna could remember a time when moments like that embarrassed her for days. That was back when she didn't know as many people, and the fear of failure always overweighed her good reasoning skills. Now that she was older and knew more people, she wasn't so easily embarrassed. As a matter of fact, hanging around Cale helped Anna to realize that the occasional fall or stuble to the ground was nothing at all to be ashamed of. "Relax. We all have moments like those from time to time," Anna said to her.

Anna wrinkled her face in confusion. What was the girl talking about Sam for? "Sam? Sam...Gryffindor Sam? Yes, I do know---oh, wait! You were with us in Greece over the summer, weren't you?" Anna face brightened when she realized that she somewhat knew this girl. "We didn't really get a chance to talk to one another, though. Nice to meet you, Kaitlynnh." All too soon, Kaitlynn, or Katie as Anna had just heard her say, became distracted calling out to some friend of her's from down the hallway. Anna poked her head back out into the hallway, as well, watching in interest as some little boy passed Katie right on by.

"Bummer? Why bummer?" Anna asked, turning towards a girl who was walking throughout the back part of the train. Anna eyed the girl for a few moments, trying to figure out if she knew her, but when it became obvious that she didn't, Anna smiled and introduced herself. "I'm Anna Greingoth, a seventh year," she said. "I don't think I've seen you around here before, though. Are you a new student?"

The girl didn't appear to be a first year, but then again, Hogwart's was often receiving transfers from other schools or students who'd previously been homeschooled. Maybe this girl fell into one of those categories. Anna couldn't imagine what else she'd have been doing prior to her move to Hogwart's.

When Cam starting chatting again, Anna made her way into the compartment and took a seat right next to him. She wanted to get a good look at those lemurs. They were interesting creatures, and she'd never had many encounters with them. She watched with interest as they continued to climb all over Cam's shoulders. Their eating habits were still disgusting, but hey, they were lemurs. It wasn't like they were expected to feast on Chocolate Frogs or mashed potatoes or something. "Hello, Mosi and Nakato," she cooed, speaking softly to the little creatures. Anna leaned in closely to watch the lemurs, while Cam talked with Katie.

"So, Cam, we never really got to finish our conversation in Diagon Alley. The last I heard, you were saying I was supposed to have spoken to someone whose name begins with the letter R?" she asked. "What was that all about? Who were they, and what were they supposed to be telling me?"

"Yeah it was quite a long time. They were very happy to be back and not animals anymore." Chris said.

Chris shrugged. "It was sort of neat to see." He told him. "Oh right right I knew I missed two I just couldn't remember them. But yeah that was kind of a strang. Actaully a very strang term." He said nodding and laughed slightly.

Nate looked up from twirling his wand and smriked at the boy who had entered his compartment. "O im sorry.. did i hurt your feelings?" he asked giving his best mocking of a baby. "I so sawy!" he said his lower lip quivering with pure mock. "Now.. be on your way." he said waving his hand bored at this kid.

Kevin shrugged and said to Mat "I'm not sure he really is at Hogwarts to teach flying and to referee the school's qudditch games"

Ohhh, so he was named after the astronomer. Awesome. "You are, really?" she asked, returning his smile. Mariel nodded eagerly. Named after someone like the amazing Copernicus was a story she wanted to hear. The only thing better would be to be named after a famous Quidditch player. "I'm not named after anyone important," she added, more to herself than to anyone else. "I'm not even sure where my name comes from. I think it means rebellious, or something like that." She shrugged to herself, remembering reading that particular thing in some book.

Copernicus could say that he wasn't charming, but she could clearly see that he was. Smiling lightly, the third year shrugged. "Well, it's good to know that some people still have manners." Not like a certain someone who thought it a good idea to decorate the greenhouses with splatters of mud last year. Ugh.

Watching somewhat impressed as the older boy easily performed an invisibility spell for the little boy, she had to surpress a laugh as the younger one left as quickly as he came. Obviously in some kind of hurry to pull a prank.

Mariel grinned at Becca's excitement, almost making her relive her good times. "Yeah, it was my first time on a horse," she said. "Kinda scary, but I just tried to relate it to riding a broom. And yes they are quite smelly aren't they?" she added, making a face. But even she had to admit that it had been fun.

She nodded. "Yes, I got in a lot of Quidditch practice to give me an edge for this year's season. I really hope my friends try out this year." Really, who wouldn't want to play for their house team? Wait, soccer? ... oh! Right, Sarah had told her about that. Similar to Quidditch but on the ground and only using feet. "That does sound fun." She gave Becca a genuine smile. She didn't understand a lot of Muggle things, but if that sport was half as fun as Quidditch, then it must be good. "I really can't wait to get back though." She glanced out the window in anticipation.

Mariel looked up yet again as the door opened. Grinning up at her best friend from her seat, the third year waved and said, "Hi, Lasca!" She slid over on the seat to make room for her friend and patted the seat next to her to indicate that she take a seat. Trying to be polite, she proceeded to introduce her to the others as she wasn't sure who she knew. "This is Copernicus and Becca," she started, gesturing to each one appropriately. "And..." she trailed off looking at the girl she did not yet know (Paris).

Mariel looked up in slight anticipation at the girl who still hadn't sat down. Clearly something was wrong as she addressed Becca somewhat icily. Did the two girls have some sort of problem with each other? Mariel wasn't sure, but she could cut the tension in their compartment with a knife.

She nodded. She knew how running after Cela while she played you against your brother could caused you to forget about other things, she thought, but she didn't say of of this. "Yeah I understand. It was a party and there were plenty of other girls for you to dance with. Forget about it." She told him with a little smile. It wasn't like he knew she was alive anyways. He always seemed to be trying to run away from her or run after Cela anyways.

She blushed from the top of her new hair do down to her sparkly green toes at Copernicus' statement, and she couldn't hide a full body blush either.

Daniel was nosing around the compartments. He was bored and was longing for the cozy meal at the Castle. Although he had spent his summer alone in his Manor (technically it is his already), he had a strange longing for it. Maybe it is just because he is hungry that is remembers his house elves.

Just at that he arrived at the back of the Train where he loves to hang around. He then saw some familiar faces having what it seems to be a hearty conversations. He wanted to approach them but is shy of rejection for they are higher years than he is.

But with gathered guts, he approached Anna, "Hello Anna."he said waving at her. "God how I miss your mom's ice cream." he then smiled.

He also noticed Chris Kaplan, a fellow Gryffindor, he waved at him and gave a smiled. And there was also Paris who had been of great help at him especially with muggle studies. "Hello Paris. I heard you are now the Quidditch Captain of Slytherin." he commented. "Be easy on the Lions" he said satirically.

He also waved at the others, Becca, Copernicus, and to others he is not familiar with.

Steven smiled down at the girl and grinned a little as he gave her forehead a soft kiss. "You've changed your hair." He told her with another smile. "It suits you." He said with a nod, before he looked at the man who had stand up to greet him. He moved the hand that didn't have Paris' fingers laced through it, and shook his hand.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Copernicus. Fourth year Slytherin." He felt the need to add, before continuing on with a grin. "Well, I was just the lucky guy. She picked me." He said as he looked down at his girlfriend with another grin before she pulled him over to sit down.

He wasn't sure if there was enough space for him next to her with Copernicus sitting down as well, so he pulled her to her feet with one hand gently, and after sitting down motioned for her to sit down on his lap. There, at least Copernicus could sit down now. He smiled to the others and let his hand rest just about her knee. "Did everyone have a nice summer?" He asked to start a neutral conversation to start with.

"Oh!" Simone said, being slightly startled from another, older girl speaking to her. She blushed quite a bit before answering the other girl. "Um...Bummer, because...well...I dont...know anyone." Well except for Cela. She smiled still blushing a bit. Blushing was a habit for her. Anytime she met a new person it was like she froze up and turned into a tomato. Yep. Thats what she was ...a frozen tomato. "Simone, Simone Morgan. I am a fourth year." 'Or will be', she thought to herself. "Um, yes, actually I am a new student. I am transfering from Beauxbaton's." Though she had to think up a reason for her to be transfering other then her Aunt.


She was slightly confused at the moment thought. All the older girls at Beauxbaton's ignored, and pretended they were to good for the younger ones. Though Simone was never like that. She tried to help out everyone. Maybe that's why she had so many friends there? "I dont have any place to sit...do you mind if i join you?" She asked with another huge blush. WHY couldnt she control that?!

Aaron walked on the train with his luggage and owl cage. Let's see, he thought to himself, Iris said she would try to get an apartment, maybe she's already here. Oh! Maybe I'll be able to see Satine and Mystic, too. Aaron forgot to mention his other friends to Iris. He decided to keep them quiet until they found him. Aaron started walked to the back of the train looking in each compartment to see if Iris was in any.

It wasn't until he reached one of the last compartment when he saw her petting her new cat she told him about, Luna.

"Hey, stranger," he said walking into the compartment smiling and heaving his trunk, "Howgozit?"

She looked up Daniel. "Hey sweety," she smiled at him. "Yep I am. Professor Forrester asked me and I said yes." She said. "Well you know me. I take quidditch very seriously." She winked at him. She had no intention of taking it easy on the Lions.

Paris usually loved being the center of attention, but with Steven kissing her forehead in front of even one it made her feel dizzy and giddy and she wished she wasn't int he middle of the compartment for such a intimate kiss.

That didn't mean she didn't blush and giggle and the kiss and throughly enjoy it. "Just something a little different," she told him softly as her hand went up to her hair. She moved aside so the boys could make nice with each other, but Steven held fast to her hand and sh laced her fingers through his. "It was a easy choice," She winked back at him.

She looked up at he pulled her to her feet. She opened her mouth to ask if they were leaving when she saw what he was doing. She sat down in his lap to make room for Cope to sit next to them.

Finally making her way to the train, Lyra stepped on for her last and final year at Hogwarts. This was it...and then "they" would consider her an adult...whoever "they" were.

SCARY! I know!

She passed different students looking for at least someone she knew who was safe to talk too and not just...weird...or annoying was a better word for it. Christian had said she had changed and she was changing back to the old Lyra. No more Ms. Nice Girlie! From here on out, she would tell it like it was or just get in your face and walk off...

Relax, right. Katie could do that, sure she could. Over her little stumble atleast, in a few hours the incident would hold no embarrasment in her mind at all; Kaitlynnh knew she was far more graceful than she had proven to be moments before, she just hadn't been paying attention. For now, around Anna, she could relax. Until she went to sit with the boys. Or Cy atleast; Katie was assuming the other boys would be there too. "Thanks," Yes, Anna was very nice. Katie could get use to her, "So you're Head Girl, that means you're a seventh year?"

Looking curiously up at the older girl, Katie began to wonder if she was wrong. Didn't she know Sam? She was so sure! - A small smile tugged at her lips, brightening her previously fallen expression by alot. Anna had figured it out exactily. The small girl nodded, dark curls bouncing around her face and shoulders. "Yes, Gryffindor Sam and yes, I was there too. Sammy's my cousin." Stating this matter-of-factly, she shifted her bunny - Nova, - in her arms. Her head tilting to the side ever so slightly, "Nope, we didn't! Summer's chaotic." Katie agreed, though in her mind she was thinking the same thing about her family. In a fond way, of course.

Turning her attention back to Anna, Katie shrugged her shoulders. "Sorry 'bout him. That was Cyrus Andrus; he was in Greece too." Somewhere off in the distance, although the train was loud with chatter, the eleven year old was sure she could hear Mat's voice. That was two of the boys now, but where was the third of the troublesome trio? "Can I ask you somethin? Have you seen a boy.. about-" she raised her right hand, about two or so inches above her own head, "-that tall, really short blonde hair, green eyes.. probably had a pair of goggles around his neck? If you know who Alexis Chosen is, he looks similar to her." Katie finished, uncertain that her description would help.

This boy was weird. Like all boys were. Kaitlynnh believed this to be part of their nature, not that she would ever admit this outloud. No need to give boys any unnecessary excuses. Her nose wrinkled abit, this boy, Cam, was being technical. Maybe it was his way of dealing with nerves, or was he just that way in general? She wouldn't have been surprised. "Uhuh." Katie murmured, "Suppose that means I'm not a first year, yet."

Daniel had a very wide grin in his face. He is so proud to know a friend who is almost like a celebrity. "I am so, so proud of you. I am looking for to every match that you are in..." he said.

Mat sighed at the thought that he wouldn't learn some flying special move. That was so boring. He want to learn how to do some awesome tricks in the air and not some simple basic stuff. "Ahh..." Some disappointment could be seen on his face. "I'm sure it's going to be fun anyway. Been outside is better than staying inside." Talking about been lock inside he wanted to see where they were so far. Hogwarts wasn't coming soon enough for him.

Good for him that Chris was talking or the boy would have start some annoying song. "Well if you didn't want to be an animal it's normal to be happy to be back as you. I mean it's so not cool to start with... unless you decide otherwise." Which would have been totally his case. Been a monkey for one day. That meant been able to do some chaos around you, more than usual.

Feeling the need to stretch his legs, he peeks his head out of the compartment to take a look on who was there and how many they were. They were so many voice and rather loud but somehow he knew that Katie was among those voice. Rolling his eyes, he pull back inside the compartment. He needed a plan to annoyed her. A good one.

Becca raised her eyebrows in surprise. Was this girl a mind-reader or what? She wasn't that obvious, and to be quite frank, for Becca, she was rather polite. "I didn't say that," she shrugged, not making eye contact and instead looking at Copernicus.

"Typical Ravenclaw," Becca grinned. "But very intriguing. I respect you for that. A lot of people these days could just care less about reading. But... I already knew this. I mean, I saw how into those books you were in Flourish and Blotts. I figured you must be passionate about it in some way." She didn't bother asking him more. She wasn't going to creep him out again. "Besides soccer, I... am pretty into jazz music. I play the alto saxophone. There's a good chance you've heard me, actually. Last term I brought it with me and played out in the courtyard... and in the girls dormitory during the day when people aren't sleeping. So if you ever been walking along and heard some sweet music playing randomly? That was me."

This kid was cool. A Ravenclaw, Quidditch fanatic, and she wasn't such bad company either. And she definitely didn't seem to be the dramatic type. "That's really cool, Mariel." Becca gazed at another boy present, Daniel. She gave him a small smile and a polite nod. "I'm really excited for our team this year. It should be great! We're going for our fourth term in a row now, right?" Heh. Yeah. She WAS pretty proud.

Kevin nodded and said "Very fun Mat and anyway any idea on what house you want to be sorted into"

Paris hadn't been paying attention, but she looked up as a girl gestured to her. "Oh I'm Paris Greenwood." She told her with a small smile. "What position where you hoping to play?" She asked the girl. Might as well do some digging while she was here.

She settled into Steven's lap and pulled his hands around her waist to keep from rocking from side to side with ever lurch of the train. "Thank you Daniel. That is very sweet of you." She didn't think he knew her that well, but it was still nice to hear. "Well I hope to give you a good show and a few wins then." She winked. She hoped that Slytherin took home the cup this year.
