Sarah's smile widened. "My first time too Anise, by the way, got all your books?" she asked. She just wanted to talk to someone and Anise was perfect for that. A nice guy. She relaxed slightly over the seat and looked at him.

Between the clickety clack of the train tracks, and the excited voices of the students, one would have to be born with acute hearing to catch the faint rumble trailing the train.

The rumble ceased when the back door flew open with a rush of air. Enter Helios: Golden hair and school robes windswept. That door was quickly closed as his sky blue eyes took in his surroundings.

Boarding the train in such a way was a risky stunt, but he felt the need to catch the train to Hogwarts. Someone was sure to have seen him enter. No one would know how he got there without a broom, and if he apparated wouldn't he have done so in the train?

This was going to be another wild year.

Elizabeth couldn't help but grin as Mari asked Seth about bruises from Asteira. That whole relationship cracked her up, and she knew that was the only reason she hadn't ever completely gone into despising the blond boy. But then she went back to her best friend's earlier answer to her, sort of, question. "That's good. Happy is always good. And at least we have this term, before we officially go off who knows where," she said. Of course, things were still not exactly the same as the past couple terms, but she wasn't exactly the same either. Although it would be easier to believe that if she could actually find him.

She smiled back at Cayden as he silently responded to her original greeting, knowing that that was probably about as much as she could hope for from him. Even though she almost wished he would talk more, since it wouldn't be so silent in the compartment. But even with that wish, she was surprised when he came to the defense of Seth, who was still pointedly ignoring her from the other end of the seat. "I'd imagine if there were any, they'd be new ones," she commented idly, glancing at the Hufflepuff out of the corner of her eye, biting back a laugh as she saw how determinedly he was trying to show he was ignoring her.

He was still stuck on that little threat from almost two months ago?, she couldn't help but think, glancing at Mari with a curious expression, since the other girl seemed to be acting as her ally, even though she was also somewhat of a neutral party. If she was going to do this, she wanted someone on her side. Curling her legs up underneath her, she made sure she was comfortable. Bella seemed to sense something was about to happen, and came to sit underneath her seat, before she swiveled to look at Seth again. "You do know I defend my books quite, um, virulently, right?," she then said, a completely serious look on her face. Besides, he hadn't seemed like he had taken her previous threat seriously, so she hadn't expected the immature cold-shoulder routine. And she was a Ravenclaw, so everyone should expect her to be that way about books. All she had done back at her house was point out a fact, when he had, even if it was jokingly, threatened to burn her books. Even if he wanted to keep ignoring her, she was going to make her point. It's not like she was going anywhere during the term, and if he stayed with Asteira he was bound to see her again later.

Reid who had just stepped out of a compartment and into the corridor looked down at a little girl. He didn't know who she was talking to but assumed that it was him when she walked straight towards him and handed him a tie, a red tie. Listening to her he couldn't help but to look at the girl strangely, she seemed, well weird, for the lack of a better word. Then again she probably wasn't brought up in the same society that he was so he supposed he shouldn't make a judgement too quickly, well at least not straight away. "Hi, I'm Reid, it's nice to meet you Milly and thanks for the tie." he sounded slightly reserved, as if he was unsure how to react. Which he was.

"Go out?" Reid asked in a kind of desperate tone while inconspicuously looking around for someone or something that may make this situation easier. "Umm sure, I don't know when we could do that but it could be fun?" His voice was slightly questioning and he wasn't sure why he was agreeing to this just that it seemed the safest thing. Really though when they got to school things wouldn't be so strange. He only hoped that no-one noticed this and assumed that he was trying to hit on the second year student.

The compartments were full. That was a pretty lame excuse for why she was still wondering the train half way into the journey. It couldn't possibly be that she was too scared about actually entering the compartment to talk to anybody. She'd also been staring at her feet which in this case had caused her to bump into no other than Reid. Her cheeks flamed at her new clumsiness. "Reid" She squeaked and noticed his company. Biting her lip she chucked him a quick smile and walked into the cabin across from him.

Reid looked up when he was bumped into, he was about to say something that would make the person too scared to ever come near him again when he noticed who the culprit was. His face softened and he smiled at her in a friendly way. He wouldn't be rude to one of his friends and obviously it had been an accident on her part. "Rose." he said pleasantly, smirking in slight amusement at what had obviously been a bout of her clumsiness. "How have you been?"

Helios' had been fruitlessly searching for a compartment to duck into when he noticed he was being addressed. "Ok? I feel great." The young prince beamed, attempting to diffuse suspicion. It would have been simpler to catch the train by broom, but the one he borrowed from Krissy met a grizzly fate. There was much to explain to the Moon.

Hard work over the summer sculpted his Greek physique. He wasn't trying to intimidate anyone though, relying on his silver tongue to get him out of sticky situations. "Nothing like a little summer sunshine."

Jule left her middle car to go strech her legs. She walked into the back of the train and saw other people chatting with each other.

Emily sighed looking up from her book. She stood up and opened the door to her compartment, leaning out to look down the train. It was too noisy out here to even attempt to concentrate. Rolling her eyes --didn't people know she was trying to read? --she decided this would be the perfect opportunity to visit the food trolley. She stepped out into the corridor and then immediately regretted it, making it only a yard or so before she was abruptly stopped in her tracks.

She was now stuck behind a small group of students around her age, hanging around... flirting? (Urgh! You'd think they'd find an empty compartment to do that in at least). She got up on her tiptoes to try and see past them. If the train was packed all the way to the food trolley, there was no way she was going. But she couldn't see - these kids were all giants compared to the little Slytherin. “Um.. excuse me please.” She said softly, looking up at the group. “How busy is the train thatta way?” She nodded up the train and attempted to see past them again … but to no avail. Being small most definitely had it's drawbacks.

Skylar was hungry and went in search for the food trolley, she noticed a girl slightly bigger than she was trying to see over the group of people inconveniently stopped in the middle of the hall. "Hello, I'm Skylar" she introduced herself. She knew this wasn't probably the best circumstances to meet people but hey they were both going towards a common goal. The food trolley. "Need help getting through?" Skylar was no bigger, actually she was smaller than the girl. Which meant that the people blocking they way were extremely large.

But instead of the door opening, she found it locked. None of the others had told her that the door would be locked. Iris blushed when she realised who was in the compartment getting changed. "Um... Aaron?" she said loudly, knocking on the glass, "Aaron, please can I get my robes?"

Instead, her ears picked up one sentence very clearly, 'Don't let other students intimidate you.' Dru looked at him slightly panicked. "Are they all mean at Hogwarts then?" she asked, hoping her worst fears wern't coming true.

Jake sat in an empty compartment and layed his head on the window looking out, he couldnt find any of his friends they might be somewhere else on the train he thought. He sighed and closed his eyes resting them, he barely got any sleep last night with all the screaming and yelling. "this might be harder then I thought" he said to himself, opening his eyes and watching everything fly by outside.

As Satine hurried back to her compartment after changing into her school robes, she glanced at her reflection in one of the compartment windows to make sure her hair was still it's deep purple color since her emotions were making it change at random. As her eyes focused through the window, she noticed an older student sitting in the compartment by himself. Since she had never had trouble introducing herself to and getting along with older students...she figured why not...

She slid the door of the compartment slowly open...

"Howzit! I'm Satine! I was just walking by and thought I'd step in and say hello!" She said with smile but trying not to be too overwhelming. The boy turned around a little startled...

"Do you mind if I sit down?" She said her purple eyes sparkling.

A little dark gray and midnight black ferret went running into the compartment and stopped dead in its tracks at the sight of Jake. Within seconds Marisa popped her head inside the door, “Hi Jake.” She took a step in as she had spotted Riskers on the floor. “Silly boy,” she said with a deep sound of affection showing in her voice. After picking up the ferret Marisa turned to Jake, “Sorry to barge in- silly ferret decided to take a run.”

Then glancing over she took in the other girl who appeard to be speaking with Jake. "Sorry." she mumbeled again as she took a step backwards toward the open door.

"Nice to meet you. Well...I'm a first year," seeing her new friend's face changed she continued, "But I look a little bit older than I really am." She paused to see his reaction. Seventh years usually didn't deal with first years because they were so immature but she hoped he saw that although there was an age gap that she didn't act like the other first years.

"I just hate seeing people sitting in these compartments by themselves. It's a long ride without anyone to talk to. I know I would get so stir crazy by myself. What house are you in?" She asked timidly...she wasn't sure how he was feeling about that age gap.
