"I like transfiguration and defence against the dark arts the best" replied Roland. He looked out of the window at the darkening sky.

Lettie looked up again after taking a sip of her drink. "Hi!" She said a little overdramatic, "I'm Leticia Dubois, you can call me Lettie though." She extended her hand to shake in greeting. "What year are you?"
"Sure, you can join us!" Lettie spoke up and waved the newcomer inside, "I'm not sure what everyone's names are but I do know that this is Kevin, and this is Samantha." She was a little too cheerful sometimes and scooted down to make room for the new arrival, while Ornlu, her large Maine Coon cat, stayed on Leticia's shoulders, "I'm Lettie Dubois." She said to the girl, "What's your name?"

"Music has been something I've done throughout my life, I learned to play guitar when I was 7 and I started writing songs while I lived in the orphanage at 9 years old. Whenever I have free time, I'm usually playing music or writing new songs." Amanda said, not wanting to let her ego come up as she began to talk about how she got into music. "Yeah I am, being a Slytherin is in my blood same with Quidditch, my parents were both Slytherins and my father was a beater for the Slytherin Quidditch Team from his 2nd year to his 7th year." She repied, not wanting to ramble on about her family's history.

Ricco walked into the compartment as soon as he knew it was safe, He still wanted to put a name to the beautiful face, "I dont bite.....much" He said as he added a little humor into his conversation. As he took a seat he heard his owl Stacey in his bag so turning back to the door he pulled it shut again and took a seat. "My name is Ricco" He said as he pulled the top of his bag open , suddenly a tiny white owl flew out into the compartment and began shooting around . "This is Stacey" He continued , making a gesture towards the owl that was now flying over their heads.

Kevin sat lost in thought and not really noticing that his compartment was quite busy now

Even though Fallon was pretty confident with herself, her trouble maker side made it hard for her to make friends. She didn't know anyone at Hogwarts because she had just moved from the U.S.

Now she walked all the way to the back of the train, clutching her cat's carrier, to try and find an empty compartment. So far, Fallon wasn't having any luck.

"Kevin!" Lettie said after a moment of sipping her drink, "Do you want some?" She asked and poured a bit of drink into a plastic cup before Kevin could refuse. "It's some kind of muggle soda pop called birch beer." She smiled and held it out for the boy to take. "Are you a half blood, Kevin? Or a pureblood, or a muggle born?"

Kevin looked at Lettie and said "I'm fine for drinks i have my own in my trunk and i am a halfblood"

"Oh." Lettie said and looked around for another soul to pass the drink to, "Here." She said to the new girl, "You can have this if you'd like." Leticia smiled broadly and turned back to Kevin. "I'm a halfblood too. Since both my parents are half blood I guess."
She took another sip of her own drink, "What do you think of muggles, Kevin? I have a lot of muggle friends. Every so often my family throws a party and everyone gets together. It's really fun, maybe the next time we have one you can come along."

"Walking in she smiled at the others, taking a seat she turned towards Lettie "I'm Raven Lane-Foscote. Nice to meet you all. What years's are you all?"

Kevin smiled and said "Muggles are fun to be around but sometimes they can be annoying" Kevin knew he said that out loud but he didnt care at the moment

Turning her attention towards Kevin she asked. "Really, what are they like?. I have never been around muggles much to get an opinion. My family prefers to not be in Muggle London much."

"I'm starting as a fourth year, though it is my first time attending a public school." She offered Raven a cup of drink and as she leaned over to get a cat biscuit from her bag, Ornlu swayed slightly on Leticia's shoulders. "I've heard lots of nice things about Hogwarts, so it's bound to be fun. What house have you been sorted into, or do you hope to be sorted into? I had to come visit very briefly by floo to the school and be sorted sooner, since the Headmaster didn't think it would be right of non-first years to be sorted before the opening feast. I made Slytherin by the way, Kevin is a Slytherin as well."
"What do you mean annoying?" Lettie asked and became interested. "Do they bother your family much?"

Leticia decided to butt in for a moment. "They aren't so bad usually. Every once in a while we get a few wandering near the house, but they don't stay for long. They have lots of gadgets though. They have televisions and hairplanes and helocopters, they have something called a backyard grill, though I don't know what that is either." She thought for a moment and considered something. "My family is the only one we know of that is a wizarding family just outside of Skye...we haven't met any other wizarding families as of yet."

Kevin shrugged and said "Sometimes they do and my father is currently ill in st.mungo's and my mother died at the tail-end of last term" Kevin winced as his leg gave him a sharp pain

Christine walked towards the back of the train disappointed. She was unable to find anyone she knew to sit with. The train was crowded and she was tired. All she wanted to do was sit down. At this time, Christine knew that she wouldn't find a compartment to herself, so she just looked into each compartment door to try and find an empty seat.

Thanking her for the cup but not drinking as she'd already had something to drink prior to getting on. She would later. Answering her instead "I'm hoping to get sorted Slytherin myself, as I hear nothing but good things from the house. My father was one. My mother is not british so the Hogwarts know how I got from my fathers side. And yes, I hope to have fun too. I'm slightly exited as it's my first year. And I wanted to go to Hogwarts instead of Beauxbatons. My family debated it for a long time. Where do you come from then as you have not attended public school before? And yeah, it might be a bit odd for a 4th year to be sorted with us 1st years" She chuckled in good nature before asking. "What are you all then. Half blood , Pure or muggle born?" I'm Pureblood myself By the way.

She looked at Leticia in wonder "Back yard grill?, Sounds sinister" she said. "Well, you get your peace atleast if that's what you like"

Leticia listened and nodded every once and a while, until she was asked a question, "Oh, I was homeschooled by my aunt and my grandmother mostly." She took out her brilliant cherry wand and twirled it around in delight, "I always had to use one of their wands for lessons, but since I'm coming to a public school, I had to get my own." Her face lit up and she seemed to become a few years older.
"I think my family shipped me out just to get rid of me. They say I need to grow up and become more "Worldly", whatever that means. And all my cousins say that I have to get out and meet more people and stop behaving like a baby." She shrugged and took another sip of her soda pop, "I'm a halfblood." Leticia answered without hesitation, "My mother and father were in Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, like most of my family, aside from my cousin Felix who was a Gryffindor." Lettie played with her wand for another moment before noticing something.

'Kevin, you okay?" Leticia asked, concerned.

"That's what I thought." Lettie said with a grin, "Uh huh, my dad charmed the house so that muggles can't see it. I kinda wish I had wizarding neighbors though...aside from my big family."

Kevin looked up and said "I am fine Lettie" Kevin knew he had to let somebody know about his broken leg but at the moment he just wasnt in the mood to say

"Are you sur--, Kevin you look almost ill." Lettie said to the younger boy, who had barely any color in his face.

Kevin nodded and said "I am sure Lettie i am fine, and i am not ill"

"Alright, well, if you're sure. But if you start to not feel well you let us know." Leticia said, sounding a lot like her aunt Sara.

Glancing at the Lettie and Kevin talking, she smiles. It's nice to see friendships budding she thinks to herself.

Taking in what she said she answered "Oh, homeschooled. So was I until now that is." She looked at Lettie's wand and then to her face. Noticing how she got more confident with it. "Nice wand, why didn't you have your own when you were homeschooled?. And worldly, hmm yes. Not sure eighter. But I was told that school makes you grow up so, I'm sure you will stop being whatever they accuse you of. As you don't seem like it to me. "Half-blood, cool. I never really met anyone who wasn't like me before. Only my family abroad and family here and their kids. So I hope I wont offend anyone unintentionaly" She enunciated so they wouldn't take offence. "You have real diversity in your family, my fathers side is mostly made up of Slytherins or Ravenclaws."

She grinned back and answered her "Ah yes, those ones. I've seen my dad use it on our summer home in France. But it's nice to have Wizarding neigbours. Don't have to hide then, how big is your family?"

Kevin nodded and said "Sure i will Lettie" Kevin saw Liz smile and said to her "So how was your summer Liz?"
