OOC: Sleepy time. Night Quote:
She placed her bag on her lap and got out her poetry book that she was reading the compartment next door and flicked through the pages until she found the last one she had read today. It was just as she found her page that she thought she heard a voice address her. She looked up and saw a prefect looking directly at her. "I'm Dru," she said simply, she really wanted to read a bit more... |
HOLY COMPARTMENT batman! More people? REALLY? These compartments must be like the tents that the family take camping. When Daphne introduced herself, Pie was slightly reminded of how his aunt introduced herself to high figures at parties. He always mimicked Auntie Ally when she wasn't looking because she could beat him. He made a mental note to do the same with this girl. "Oh the pleasure's all mine Miss Daphne." Pietro nodded his head, tipping his fedora at Daphne. Now onto the Elizabeth girl. His grin turned sour pretty quick. "Well you see Elizabeth is not a common name where I'm from. Tis why I said that." Suddenly this compartment was getting VERY crammed. It was getting on Pietro's nerves. Now let's add this freak who keeps offering people his sandwich. He poked the boy and shook his head. "Can't you see this boy is sick!? How much of a dork do you have to be to not get that? You're seriously offering him a sandwich when he's sick!? Sorry to say but you fail good sir." Anyone else he missed? OH yeah there was half a compartment he had not introduced himself to. "Okay so can we get a roll call in here or something? I already know Daphne, Elizabeth and Raiden. Now how about the rest of you tell me your names? Mine is Pietro." |
lmao. That's all I can say. xD Elizabeth grinned as Shana then joined the group, and noticed the compartment seemed to be filling up fast. "Hey Shana. How are you?," she asked the second year, before glancing at the boy handing out food. That was odd. But she shrugged. "I'm fine. You can keep your sandwiches for later or something," she said, before putting her attention back on Raiden. And apparently Pietro had the same idea she did. Since he got on the boy's case. But she looked at him surprised, as he responded to her question as well. "I didn't mean to make it sound that way. And okay," she said to him, startled. "Where are you from?" And then she watched as Roscoe decided it would be fun to chase Bella. She rolled her eyes, smiling as Bella locked eyes with the other cat then deliberately sped up to keep ahead of him. And she then laughed at Raiden's comment. "Bella's calmed down some," she reassured him, before shrugging again as he asked about the food. "I don't know. I guess it depends on how weird your stomach feels. Motion sickness might work differently than other types." As the door to the compartment opened again, she was surprised when Bella ran to her as the boy entered. Something must have bothrered her cat about him, or something. He certainly looked, and was acting, a little strange and unsettling. She leaned over and scooped Bella up, also preventing Roscoe from catching her in the process. But she remained silent, watching him and judging if she should vacate the compartment and continue on her way back to see Mari. |
Ya'll Know Who You Are She avoided physical contact as much as possible, side-stepping and spinning on the spot as strangers continued to file into the compartment. As much as she wanted to continue her talk with Kururugi and--oh, merlin, that Pastry Boy--it was neigh impossible with the amount of loud breathing going on next to her ear. Raising a hand to protect one of her rather over sized ears. "If you wanted to keep your identity a secret you should have said so in the first place," retorted the blond haughtily, shooting a disdainful glance at Sandwich Boy. "You--Yes, you," she pointed with her free hand, the other still over one of her ears. "Don't just go shoving food underneath people's noses. It's--" Creepy. "Just not right." Quote:

Finally, they were back on their way to Hogwarts! Kiri had made her rather frosty goodbyes to her parents and aunt at the platform. Try as they might, they had not managed to get her to wear her aunt's robes again (which were now stored all the way at the bottom of her trunk) - it hadn't gone well, her aunt putting on an expression of pouty disappointment. The train was rocking slightly from side to side as Kiri made her way to a cart in the back - at the station, she'd seen Raiden enter there, and, naturally, she wanted to spend the long ride to Hogwarts with him. In the interests of allergy-curing... When she reached his compartment, Kiri was surprised to see it crammed with people. The compartments were built for maybe six people, but this one looked as if there was some sort of competition going on - were they trying to beat canned sardines?! Kiri couldn't see anything, obviously, but from somewhere in the middle of the huddle came the voice of Raiden, which sounded rather strained. She began elbowing her way in, muttering apologies as she shoved and pushed. Finally, she managed to get to the front. Raiden looked... well, faintly green. Nauseous. "Raiden... Excuse me." She shoved again, then seized his hand unthinkingly. "Raiden, are you okay? What happened?" |

x_x Holy crap. Crowded compartment was crowded. And then, some girl sat down next to him, and in an effort to get as far away from everyone as possible (and, in particular, the sandwich that had been thrust under his nose...), he sat fully up and retreated to the farthest corner of the seat, the cool glass of the window a welcome comfort in all the sudden heat from the pressing of bodies. It seemed there were far too many people who cared about the state of his stomach... he twitched as a rather shrill voice rang out and that boy from Diagon Alley last term pointed at hiiiim. He still didn't know the kid's name! He hadn't wanted to relinquish it when they'd met... "Hi... person..." he said weakly. "Erm, people... everyone..." he looked at Vannie Corbette and nodded. "Water might... help... right?" And then Kiri was there, a welcome presence in any situation. She took his hand and his stomach did another flip, completely indistinguishable from the previous flutters it had been performing due to motion-sickness. "H-hi Kiri," he murmured, trying his best to smile. What had started out as just a little sickly stomach had turned into a full-on war inside him. The compartment was maxing out occupant-wise, and the windows were closed and everyone was breathing and it was really, really WARM in here, even warmer than it had been just a minute ago, wasn't it? "I just... have a bit of a stomach problem. Motion-sickness, I think. And it's awful hot in here." |

Humans weren't meant to be kept in pens. That was just plain unhygienic. "The name is Daphne Hopton and you need to not--don't touch Kururugi's tongue!" Paling--Daphne tried to shimmy her way out of the compartment. "Raiden. Don't let that boy touch your tongue!" |

Last post for me tonight! *needs sleep for work in the morning* Elizabeth was starting to feel claustrophobic, and when Shana spoke, she laughed. "In fact I was thinking that," she commented, before adding, "I'm fine. Not really looking forward to NEWTs, but that's about it." Stupid seventh year tests. She didn't need the scores if she went into writing, right? And then another girl cme into the compartment, going over to Raiden immediately, and Elizabeth raised both eyebrows. This was an interesting development. And she wouldn't be able to watch them after this term. She mentally sighed, wishing she wasn't going to have to leave Hogwarts after this term, but knew she was going to. Although she had a few ideas whereby she wouldn't have to leave all her friends. At least she got the girl's name, as Raiden greeted her nervously. It was so cute. As water was brought up again, she set Bella back on the ground for a second and dug around in her bag until she found a small bottle of water. It was technically there for emergencies, and this counted. Opening it, she leaned forward to hand it to Raiden. "Here. At least you can try and see if it helps," she said, before returning to the wall and scooping Bella back up. And then the weird Huffie boy had gone over to Raiden, and she eyed him. Things were just getting too weird. "Um, Raiden? I'll find you later, okay?," she said, before inching toward the door. Seventeen years old and afraid of a little boy. It was a bit ridiculous, especially considering she wasn't afraid of much else. But this boy was just too peculiar. "Nice to meet those of you I just met, and nice seeing everyone in general," she then said awkwardly to the group, before glancing at Raiden again. "I'm just going down the hall, to talk to another of my friends," she explained, then stepped backward out of the compartment, sliding the door shut so Roscoe wouldn't try and follow her out. And then she took a breath, letting Bella back down to the ground, where she started prowling again, and Elizabeth set off to find Mari again. |
"Here" Vanessa spoke, as she reached into her bag, and pulled out an unopened bottle of water. Raiden needed it more than she did. "Just sip at it." She smiled at him. If he gulped it down he might end up being sick, and considered that she was knelt in front of him, she didn't really want to be puked on. No. It would not be nice. As a girl sat next to Raiden, Vanessa looked up at smiled at her. She remembered her from that that brief conversation that they had had on Diagon Alley. "Hey." She nodded, as she glanced around the compartment. Ooh...they were all saying names now. "I'm Vannie." She commented, from her position on the floor, which made her really look even smaller than she actually was. |

At last, some people had apparently decided to leave. Kiri watched them silently as they shuffled past her, which allowed a few oxygen molecules to return to the compartment. When they had gone, leaving a number of students more suitable to the compartment size, she turned back to Raiden. Another girl was kneeling beside him now. Kiri recognised her - a Hufflepuff student by the name of Vanessa Corbette. They'd met briefly in Diagon Alley. Now she had a Prefect badge pinned to her robes. "Hi Vanessa," Kiri said distractedly, watching her hand Raiden a bottle of water with quick, studied movements. She seemed to know what she was doing. |
Kevin sat in his compartment and thought hmm ive met some really nice people but i could do with getting more friends but he wasnt wanting to leave the compartment he was in because his leg was badly broken and somebody might ask him about it and he would have to lie again |
"Everything ok Kevin?" she asked him. Something looked wrong. |

He then remembered a brewed potion that was given for him that can cure motion sickness and stuff. "Or, would you like to try this ppotion that can cure motion sickness." handing over a phial of blue potion. "It was given to me by our family friend, Mr. Smith, who works for the Ministry." |
Kevin looked up at Demetria and said "Everything is fine i was just thinking about my mother" |
"Oh." she gave him a warm smile. She decided to pull out her Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them book and started studying. "Is anyone else taking COMC this term?" she asked. |
Kevin smiled at Demetria and said "I will be taking COMC this term i will probably see you in class" |
Jack walked onto the train . He was so excited about going to Hogwarts for the first time. He found an empty compartment and went in it. |

"Awesome! I'm really excited for it. Is it hard?" she asked him. So far she had memorized most of the creatures, but there was still way more to learn. |
Kevin looked up at Daniel and said "Nothing i am fine Daniel" Kevin hated lying but it was the best thing to do |
Minna-san. You know who you are. One space-out later and he was being handed two bottles of water by two different friends. He blushed; they were all getting worked up over something so small as motion-sickness. Most of them didn't know how small a thing such as motion-sickness was to him. If they knew just how fragile he really was... ugh, he could only imagine how badly that would go. "I'm fi-" That boy was suddenly right in front of him, gripping him by the shoulders and demanding he say 'aaaah'. Well he very nearly said "aaaaah", but not in the way the boy seemed to want... He wanted to touch Raiden's TONGUE?! Oh no, no no that was icky! He clamped his lips shut and wriggled weakly to get the younger boy's hands off him. Pulling himself away and tucking his thin body up against the wall/window, he looked at the vial in the hand of the Sandwich Man. Several things hit him at once. One, nobody had ever called him champ before, and the nickname felt generic and cold to his ears. Two, this unknown person was offering him a potion. Three, The potion had been brewed by a Mr. 'Smith' at the Ministry. These three things added up to one conclusion in his mind. "No, no, that's fine," he said softly, only raising his hand to block the vial from being handed to him. "Sorry, but I don't take stuff from strangers..." |
