Dru started to get a bit dizzy, trying to see all of the countryside as it flashed by. She liked looking at green fields and muggle farming techniques but obviously trying to do so while on a train was not the best idea. Instead she reached into her bag and took out the only book she had bought with her, and it just so happened to be a Muggle one at that... |
Raiden wobbled a little as the train moved forward; his knees were still unadjusted to the motion. He wanted to find a seat. He NEEDED to find a seat. He was feeling seasick, which was just sad because there was no water or boats within at least a mile radius of him. Sliding the door of a compartment open, he peeked inside and rejoiced to find that it was empty. He wouldn't be bothering anyone then, good. And if he was sick, then he wouldn't... throw up on anyone. Even better. He tossed his bag onto the seat and flopped down next to it, putting his feet up and curling into a ball. Comfortable, if not a little nudgy from the train rocking. Ugh. Rocking. Do not want. |
Pietro wasn't used to trains. He was used to traveling by other methods. Like muggle cars. Or broom. Or even floo and portkey! He had never been on a train before so his legs felt strange as he was walking to find a compartment. He nearly fell over his own feet when he slid a random compartment door open. The compartment was already occupied by a person curled up in the fetal position. Pie found this very strange but he wouldn't be a bother to him. This kid looked real sick, though. He tapped the kid on the shoulder and gave him a puzzled look. "Aye. You okay?" |
Usually, Daphne was indifferent about returning and leaving Hogwarts. This time, however, was different. The date didn't arrive soon enough and she was finally free from her baby powder scented prison. No more nights waking up to infant screeches and no more awkward breakfasts where she pretended to care about her mother's criticism over her eating habits. Cheeks having lost their youthful chubbiness, Daphne when she peeked over a little brat to spot a vaguely familiar body--curled up and looking very much the epitome of a frightened child. "Kururugi?" called out Miss Hopton, at first hesitant to voluntarily include herself in such a situation. Figuring she was destined to at least ten years of misfortune anyways, brought on by the recent birth of her mortal enemy, Daphne allowed her feet to guide her towards the boys. Click-clackety-click. "Raiden Kururugi? Well, answer me. Don't have me saying your name over and over like some love-struck idiot, which I'm not, by the way. I can assure you of that." If anything had changed with Daphne's last age addition (and sibling addition), it was on her attitude. And it most definitely was not an improvement. |
*whistles* dum de dum . . . *makes people read if they're curious* Elizabeth walked down the corridor of the train, subtly adjusting her balance as the train sped along on its way back to school. It wasn't so much that she coudln't find a compartment, she just didn't feel like sitting by herself. And the easiest way of avoiding that was wandering until she could find any of her friends, or anyone that she could talk to at all. She hadn't managed to get Robert to tell her what had been bothering her when she'd run into him in Diagon Alley, although she had ended up hitting him a few times after he had tried to avoid it, anyway. Part of that was due to his amusement at her being dressed up. She was just glad he hadn't been at Cela's party, because if Paris had liked her shoes, she just knew he would have been rolling on the floor in uncontrollable laughter. And she would have been forced to do more damage to him. But apparently he wasn't in this end of the train, since Bella, who had been prowling along behind her the entire time, hadn't dashed off to bug him like she usually did. So she continued walking, occasionally glancing into compartments to check the occupants for people she knew. And after she had walked almost the entire length of the train, she remembered seeing Mari several compartments back, with Cayden. And even if she still thought of him as the only person she had ever met who thought of her as anything but quiet, they still qualified as an end to her quest. So she turned around, quickly bracing her hand against the wall as the train went around a corner and her balance shifted, and then started heading back the way she came. However, on her way there, she happened to glance into a compartment and see Raiden all curled up in a ball by himself, and stopped walking. She hadn't really talked to him in ages, although she had seen him at Cela's party and she was curious how he'd been doing. Nudging Bella with her foot as the small cat tried to weave around her to be her usual annoying self, she stuck her head through the door. "Are you alright, Raiden?," she asked, "You look a little green." And the irony of that comment didn't escape her either, since he was a Slythie. But this was an entirely different green. And she didn't think the other girl who had showed up's attitude was going to help any. |

Sleep would've been nice. He was just mere seconds away from dozing off and escaping the weird motion sickness that had gripped him when someone tapped his shoulder. Opening his eyes, he pushed his rarely-worn glasses up his nose again and half-sat up. It was then that he heard the other, rather grumpy-sounding, yet familiar voice. It called his name a few times before he caught sight of the face that went with it. The face had changed a bit, but it was still completely recognizable as- "Daphne Hopton," he said, smiling. "Love-struck? Huh?" He looked at the boy who had tapped him and nodded swiftly, swallowing as his stomach gave an uncooperative lurch. "I'm alright... just a little bit motion-sick. It's never happened before, so I'm not used to it." And then another familiar face appeared, and Raiden's smile got a little bigger despite his tummy being all mean. Elizabeth Andrews! He hadn't seen her in... well he'd seen her at Cela's party, but he hadn't been able to talk to her because of the girl and the boy fighting and the ice-cream throwing and him falling on his butt a lot... "Hi Elizabeth Andrews... I'm okay, it's fine... my stomach's just a bit loopy, from the train." His smile turned into a bit of a frown. "It's never done this before... maybe I'm getting sick again." Merlin he hoped not. |

"No offense but if you decide to puke don't do it in the compartment. That's just unsanitary. Pietro's the name by the way. All of you can call me Pie. You've all got very nice and unusual names. I like it." He had a nervous grin on his face. Most of his hair was hidden under a fedora so he wouldn't run his hands through it like his uncle did when he was nervous. His uncle and aunt would be very proud people. |
Sarah pulled her trunk and got into the train. It was her first time on board to the express and was excited. She dragged herself and the trunk forward. She looked through and saw the compartments filling. She sighed a little. She was just a newbie and was curious to now people. She walked past trying to find some first year fellows. |
Si, Amy and anyone/everyone else? lol "This isn't your first time on a train," responded Daphne full of confidence, observing the youngest boy in the compartment out of the corner of her eye. "Is everything a new experience for you?" Typical Kururugi. He was always standing about with a glazed look of wonder plastered on his friendly looking face. The silly boy. He was just the kind to easily walk himself into a wall if he didn't have someone looking out for him. The Ravenclaw was vaguely familiar, but barely. Letting it pass, Daphne nodded amicably in her direction. As long as no babies popped out sinisterly from dimensional pockets she'd be a-okay. "Most would find Pietro to be an unusual name. You can call me Miss Hopton. Miss Daphne Hopton. Pleasure." |
Dru was disturbed from her book by many voices in the compartment next to her. Sighing, she closed her book and put it neatly back in her bag. She got up from her seat and wandered over to the doorway of the next compartment along the train. Looking in, she could just about see a sickly looking boy surrounded by a group of students. "What you doing?" Dru asked, trying to look past the bodies to the boy everyone was paying attention to. |
Darrion Darrion sat down in a empty compartment. |
Ameh, Ama, Si + anyone else Vanessa wandered up the train, checking in each compartment as she did so, kind of making sure that all the first years were okay and not on their own. That would be quite scary, especially considering it was there first time on the train. As she walked down she noticed a group of people in one compartment, and she really only recognised one, and he didn't look that good. Sliding the door to the compartment open, the prefect stepped in, but kept away from Raiden, not wanting to overwhelm him. "Rai...are you okay?" |

"Don't worry, I'm not really here," she muttered. |
lol Ameh, Si, Ama, etc. . . . Elizabeth couldn't help but grin as Raiden noticed her, since she still found it cute how he referred to everyone by their full names, but managed to work up a concerned face as he talked about his stomach feeling weird. "Hi Raiden. That's never good," she said, before thinking a bit. "Have you tried drinking water? Or eating crackers or something? That always settles my stomach when it feels strange." She moved further into the compartment, Bella finally managing to shove her way through and past her, before she spoke again, trying to maybe distract Raiden from feeling ill. "How's Roscoe?" She raised an eyebrow at the boy's comment, although she nodded as he introduced himself. Where did he expect Raiden to puke if he had to? Did he expect him to stick his head out the window or something? Because she was fairly certain that wouldn't help the matter. "Nice to meet you, Pietro," she said, deciding to wait on calling him after food. Maybe if she got to know the little boy better. Even though she had to wonder about him as he spoke about them all having unusual names. "No offense," she then said, imitating him almost unconcsiously, "But how exactly is Elizabeth an unusual name?" She assumed he had heard Raiden greet her, but even with the Slytherin's little quirk, she still didn't think her name was unusual. She acknowledged Daphne's nod with one of her own, choosing not to address the other girl unless she was spoken to. Since Daphne didn't exactly look like someone you could make random weird comments to. And then she leaned against the wall of the compartment, keeping an eye on her cat as she started prowling again. If Bella ran off, she was going after her. There was no way she was letting her get into trouble this trip. As another girl showed up, she glanced at her, before then noticing Vannie's entrance. "Hey Vannie," she greeted the Huffie, notcing the addition of the badge. "Congratulations." |
Daniel was busy getting some bread from his enchanted backpack when he heard a thumping sound. He looked around and saw a First year was bumped by Vanessa. He just smiled. "Hi there. Vanessa, do you want something to eat?" he also looked at the first year. "Hi, I am Daniel. Do you want something to eat too?" |
Amyy pooh &+ Ama +& Si &+ Kristin +& anyone else :D Shana walked down the back of the train looking for a quiet compartment. She looked into some of the compartments and then she spotted some people she knew. She saw Raiden and Vannie and a bunch of other people she'd never met before. She slide open the door and sighed.Umm- Mind if I join you ? she shrugged her shoulders and gave a little smile. |

"Oh no, I'm not hungry really. But thanks," she said. "Oh, and I'm Dru," she added as an afterthought. |
Darrion stood and tried to find someone to talk to. |

"No thank you, I'm really quite alright without a sandwich," she responded. |
Holy Compartment Explosion, Batman! There were... suddenly so many people in here. Raiden's stomach kicked into overdrive at the mention of pie, or Pie, whichever he meant. Pastry. No pastry. Pastries were bad right now, and especially if they had pumpkin in them. He hadn't accidentally eaten pumpkin, had he? "Nice to meet you, Pietro," he said, smiling at the boy. "I'm Raiden, but I guess Daphne Hopton already gave that away..." He looked at her then, and tried to laugh. "I've been on the train before, yes, and I've been sick before... but never motion-sick..." Urk. He'd nearly forgotten about Roscoe being in his robes. The kitten had stayed rather small. Obviously he was a runt or something, but that didn't bother Raiden as he was rather runty himself. They shared that trait, he guessed. Poking the lump that was the cat, he waited for Roscoe to peer out from the neck of his robes, which he did rather quickly. Spying BellaDementorCat running around, he leapt out of the boy's robes and chased after the other cat. "He's... got a death wish apparently..." he said softly, watching Roscoe follow Bella. "I didn't really try... anything. I just was gonna take a nap and hope it went away... do you think those things would help?" And then Vannie Corbette was there too! He gave her a little wave-ish hand gesture and nodded his head. "I'm fine, Vannie Corbette... just feeling a little icky. Train isn't making my tummy feel good..." And Shana Miller... Raiden's stomach went all loopy again as the train lurched slightly, and his fingers wrapped reflexively around the edge of the seat to keep himself from falling off. Urgh. Movement. No. No more. |

This was so exciting. He was going back to Hogwarts! Adrenaline rushed through his body as he skipped down the corridors, bellowing a song about pirates and mermaids and God knows what. "ARRR ARRR, I RIDE ON THE THEFEEEEN THEEEAAATTHH!" He bellowed. And then he stopped dead on his tracks. Green eyes surveyed a certain compartment that was so crowded it looked like those house thingies the hens lived in. He didn't know what they were called, so he called henben. Placing his hand on the handle, he pushed back the door and slowly smiled. He looked like a vicious animal ready to attack it's pray. "Arrrr, arrrr a pirateth life fer MEE!" He sang as he hopped into the compartment. Once he looked at the people around, he grinned and pointed his finger at Daphne and then at Raiden. "OIII. Ye two, I know youth!" He grinned and nodded which sent his his curls flying around. |

"Excuse me." She moved past the other two people carefully, so that she could kneel infront of Raiden. "Do want a glass of water Rai?" |
