"wow... having to move away from everything you know, all the way across the pond!" Iris said, "I'm kinda glad your mum made you move though, you seem nice. Well jusp on the band wagon Fallon, Slytherin is where I'm hoping to end up!" she said, smiling " I dunno why though, i guess it just sounds better than the rest. Oh, all my family went to Beauxbatons by the way. That's why i don't know much about the houses."

"Why thanks Iris." Fallon couldn't help but smile. She noticed that Snuggles had fallen asleep in her lap. "Most of my family was in Slytherin. From what I've heard it sounds pretty cool."

"That's cool!" Aaron could tell she was American by not only her voice, but her clothes and etticut (OOC: or however you spell it). "I'm going to be in Slytherin because both my parents were. And Satine is probably going to be in Ravenclaw... And Mystic who is being awfully quiet is probably going to be in Slytherin, too. And we're not exactly sure about Iris yet. I think either Ravenclaw or Slytherin, but we'll let destiny decide. By the way," Aaon said back to Fallon, "Do you know how they sort us into our houses? We're dying to know."

Fallon listened as Aaron explained where everyone was probably going to be housed. "If I remember correctly, they put some sort of talking hat on your head that sorts you into the house where you most belong. I'm just quoting things that I've heard from family before."

Iris just smiled and nodded in agreement with Aaron, "Exuse me, bud I need the loo - I'll back in a minute... or twenty, depending on how quickly i find the toilets." Iris said and stood up to leave. She didn't need to worry about Luna, she was asleep next to Snuggles.

before she left, Iris said, ' Wow Aaron, you were almost right about the mind reading thing ' and begun to laugh nervously and put her hand to her head protectively, then left.

Satine headed back to the compartment with all of her goodies. She hoped that things were going great with the new girl in there. She passed Iris in the hall and spoke with her long enough to give her directions to the restrooms she had passed a little bit back.

She finally reached the compartment and walked in throwing candy to everyone. She apologized as the jingling of candy started the cats as they scattered under the seats.

She sat down slowly and tried to catch up with the conversation as she slowly conned the cats out from their hidden spots. They both snuggled into her lap as she listened intently.

OOC: Sorry, I have to eat dinner. So I have to leave, too. I'll be back in a bit.
 

Aaron laughed, too as Iris left the compartment. "A talking hat, that's cool." Aaron said to Fallon. Aaron hadn't heard from Mystic in a while so he looked over to see what she was doing. As it turned out, she dozed off. Well, it was getting dark and it WAS a long day. Aaron put is head back, too and started to think.

Why did I look over at Iris when I saw the cats snuggling. This is weird. This is very weird. I've never felt like this before. But I'm only 11, what could I possibly do?

Aaron took another look at the cats and started dazing out the window thinking about what his year at Hogwarts was going to be like...

She noticed an odd look on Aaron's face and wondered what she had missed. She couldn't wait to tell them all about her new third year friend she had met at the food trolley.

Aaron looked over as Satine came into the compartment. "Guess what! Fallon told us how you get sorted into your house at Hogwarts!"

Mystic listening to what they said read the potion out loud."Magical fireworks

Ingredients:
water (500 mL)
dried flakes of Salamander skin (big handful)
one diced jalapeno pepper
sheep bile (a dash)
salt (three grains)
Instructions:
* bring 500mL water to a boil
stir them into your cauldron till they dissolve
add one diced jalapeno pepper
stir 13 times anti clockwise
reduce the heat of the fire and add a dash of sheep bile.
This will make your potion turn gray and become the consistency of liquid concrete, so it will be harder to stir.
stir it 4 times clockwise
Once you've achieved the liquid concrete consistancy, add three grains of salt. You should see that the potion will become quite malleable, while keeping it's gray colour
Your fireworks are now ready to be moulded and wrapped.
You can make them into any shape you want, but try not to make them too big. Also while moulding the fireworks, concentrate hard on what magic effects you want your fireworks to generate. the harder you concentrate, the more of your inner magic will be infused into the fireworks and the more sucessful your fireworks will be.
Make sure you put a tab into the firework before you wrap it."
Then thought for a moment. Then said "I think of any magic effects I would want my fireworks to generate. What about you guys? What would you make your be?"

"Is it really mind reading or is Aaron out of his mind?" She picked on Aaron with a smile.

"Guess what! I met a third year Ravenclaw, well kind of, he doesn't know yet, but that's another story, at the food trolley! I'm so excited to finally meet someone that might be in my house." She said noticing Aaron face change on the mention of a third year "he."

Fallon looked down at the snuggling cats. That's how Snuggles got her name; she loved to snuggle! "I think that's kind of cool. Thanks for the candy Satine." She looked over at the girl Mystic. "Hi Mystic. I'm Fallon."

"Apperently, it's a talking hat that they put on your head and in tells you what house your in. So, I was kind of right." Aaron said laughing.

Satine met another Ravenclaw at the food trolley, cool. She'll know someone in her own house! "Why didn't you bring him back, Satine? I need to meet more guys." Aaron laughed.

Hello. Cool cat. My mother as a black cat named Maki-Chan."

"What, you don't like being around girls?" Fallon was really starting to act more like herself. She started to laugh causing Snuggles to wake up. "Sorry, baby." The little cat climbed up onto her shoulder and went back to sleep. "That's cool." Fallon said turning to Mystic.

"So does that mean if I repeat Ravenclaw a billion million times that I might get in?" She said laughing at that thought and seeing the hat explode because of that much thought.

"I didn't think about it. I'm sorry. Maybe we'll run into him when we get there. I'm sure he would be excited to meet you all. I told him about all of you."

"Maybe. I heard it can see past stuff like that and that it places you based on personality." Fallon said. Iris's cat Luna had made herself more comfortable in Fallon's lap. She didn't mind though. She loved cats.

Aaron laughed, "It's okay, Satine. I'm sure we'll see him around. And I am perfectly fine being with girls, Fallon," he said to her. "You have to remember, I'm still a guy." He gave a quirky smile.

Aaron looked out the window, the sun was almost down.

"Not long now," Aaron said, "Maybe we should put on our robes."

OOC: I've got to run a couple of errands be back later, maybe.
 

"Well, look at it this way, now you have some new Hogwarts sisters to help you along." She smiled. She didn't have any brothers or sisters so this was something she was really hoping for...friends that were that close. She knew it was a little early to think she had found lifelong friends, but that's how her mom and her friends had started.

"I sure hope we are getting close. I'm almost shivering with anticipation of what's to come. I packed so many clothes that it may take me a while to find my robes." She said almost embarrassed but she brought something for everything.

She reached over Mystic's head to pull down her zebra striped trunk. She grabbed her robes and headed off to find the washrooms to change in.

"Well that makes sense, I guess...but what would we do if it said you don't belong anywhere." She said with a worried look as she headed out of the compartment.

"Just checking Aaron." Fallon was joking around with him and she hoped that Aaron would realized that. "Sounds like a plan. Except I have to sleeping, purring, balls of fur on me. I can put Snuggles back in her cage, but where should I put Luna? Iris isn't back from the bathroom yet." She looked over at Satine. "You have to belong somewhere. I'm sure you have traits for at least one of the houses."

Aaron smiled at Satine and everyone else because he knew he found his best friends.

"Yeah, I overpacked, too. but I was sure to put my robes on top." He reached into his trunk and pulled out his robes.

"I doubt the sorting hat WON'T find a place for anybody. I mean, have you ever heard of anybody who was undetermined?"

"I have an idea," Aaron said to Fallon, "Leave Luna here. If all three of you go to the washroom I can close the curtains and lock the door and get changed in here. I'll watch her."

"Sounds good." Fallon was really glad she had come into this compartment. She felt like she would be friends with all of them for a long time. She carefully moved Luna out of her lap and put Snuggles up in her cage. Snuggles protested a little. "I'll be back in a minute." She said closing the cage.

Fallon grabbed her suitcase and searched through it for her robes. They were near the top. "I have mine. You guys ready?"

Mystic reached into her top small enchanted trunk and pulled out her robes. "I am ready." She said.

"Let's go then." Fallon headed out of the compartment to look for the bathroom's with Mystic and Satine. She looked at them. "The bathrooms are more towards the middle of the train. I saw them when I was walking to the back."

Irial looked at Dru and considered her question. "Hmm.." he mused. "Personally, I never took a liking to the school. I'm here because...well, I don't know." He frowned, wondering indeed why he was still here when he already found his Shadow Girl.

Shaking his head, he attempted to answer the girl's question. "You have it easier because you are a Slytherin," he began. "Although most people spout off crap about unity and togetherness, it's all about power. Gryffindor and Slytherin are the houses of power. One's good, one's not. I personally believe I'm in the wrong house, though there are few others who will disagree. You may make that decision for yourself."

Pausing, he thought about his experiences at Hogwarts. Not too many that he liked, personally. "It's all what you make of it. You can make it good or bad. You choose how Hogwarts is. Don't let other students intimidate you. They do, let me know, I'll handle them." He smiled kindly at her.
