Samantha shook her hand
"i like your name I'm Samantha,Sam Sterling."
Sam takes a look at everyone in the compartment then rests eyes on the cat next to Lettie
"is that your cat? its soo cute but .."puts Amaethon in cage so he cant get hurt and sits him down and sits down in a empty seat.

Olena looked up and smiled shyly. "Sure," she said in a quiet voice.

"Are you ok? May I sit with you?"Pyralis asked, she knew how the girl fealt. Shy around everyone, and scared to death about going to school.

"Um, yeah." Olena nervously straigtened up and glanced at the girl. She was very pretty.

Natka entered the compartment and noticed that there was, in fact, someone else already there, apparently also willing to make the new student feel welcome.


"I'm Natka," she said, smiling, her words directed at both girls, the second of which she observed must be at least two or three years older than herself.

Laura was grinning. A smile had played around her lips ever since she first found out thet she was going to Hogwarts, but now she couldn't contain her excitement. She was on the train, she'd be at the most famouse magical school in the world soon!
Laura walked up and stood beside the young girl she had just heard introduce herself as Samantha. "Hi," she said. "I'm Laura. Come and sit with me, are you a first year too?"

"Pyralis Kathleen Edana. Fifth year Ravenclaw."Pyralis introduced herself."Nice to meet you,Natka."

Olena swallowed. "I'm... Olena." She tried to give a smile but felt like it came out as more of a grimace.

Sits in an empty seat and her face flushed with embarresment.
Her first day at a new school and her owl had to make a scene...ugh, well, Sam supposed it could be worse.

"Yeah, my parents have a hard time keeping track of me at home. So I guess shipping me off to school will maybe be a remedy for their worry." Lettie smiled a little bit and took out a large thermos from her bag, "It's birch beer...some kind of soda pop, does anyone want some?" She asked and looked around.
She turned to the new girl, "Yep, this is Ornlu. He's a Maine Coon cat...but he does bite sometimes. It's nice to meet you, Sam. Are you excited for school?"

"Hogwarts is a great school."Pyralis said. "You don't have to worry about anything unless you get on someones bad sad."She smiled at the girls. "You can hang with me if you want."

"Ok"
Follow's Laura to her compartment
"yeah im first year"Turns to face Laura"Im soo scared"

Olena felt some of her nervousness melt away. "Thanks..." she felt some of her accent slip out and blushed.

OOC: how long will you be on I haave to help my cousin with chemistry?


"Your welcome.WHere are you from?"Pyralis asked.

OOC: I don't know. I don't really have any thing to do.

Olena felt her face heat even more. "I was born here... and then my parents moved to Russia... We moved back here so I could go to Hogwarts."

"Yeah but really scared.I'll probably make it go all wrong and hurt everyone near me"Sam frowns a bit but then brightens up."Well i hope were in the same class"Sam reconsidered what she just said"uum maybe i ..".Sam's faced frowned again

Another familiar face, Ryder thought. "Hi, Vivianne, not at all, come on in" he said, smiling at her. "How was the rest of your summer?" He asked.

He smiled at her, and then when she got up and left he said, "It was nice to meet you Pyralis."

Ryder took the CD from her with a smile, and said, "thanks, I'll listen to it when we get to Hogwarts." He was glad they had met. He couldn't remember, but he was pretty sure she was in the same year, though, not the same house though.

"Same." Laura shuddered. She was excited,but she was sooo nervous.
Taking a deep breath, she continued. "I'm in Ravenclaw, what house are you in?"

"Oh, I'm a Ravvie too!" Natka exclaimed happily, grinning at Pyralis. She was always strangely happy when she discovered to have something in common with somebody.

Oh, I'm from... England, mostly, though my family originates from Russia," she answered the girl's question.

And yeah, you really will love Hogwarts," she added, turning to Olena with yeat another grin.

"You'll be fine, it's my first time going to Hogwarts too, though I'm starting as a fourth year." She smiled and passed the girl a cup of birch beer soda pop, "You won't make everything go wrong, the professors will be around to help if anything should, so you should feel better about that." Lettie looked over to Kevin, "How about the professors? Are they nice?"
Looking back over to Samantha she continued, "Maybe what?" She asked, slightly concerned. The girl seemed much too shy, even for a first year.

"You too."Pyralis said to Ryder.

"RUssia. Cool."Pyralis smiled."I've never seen you around the Ravvie commons. Or anywhere she said to Natka."

Kevin smiled at Sam and said "Nice to meet you Sam" Kevin smiled at Lettie and said "Yeah the professors are all lovely"

"You're Russian?" Olena asked, amazed. She didn't think she'd actually meet another Russian. She had been worried she would have been the only one. "I am too. And Irish." She blushed when she realised how much she had said.

"You'll have to tell me what you think of it after you finish listening to the whole album." Amanda said, then started remembering the days she went without sleep during recording, that was utter torture for her because her voice started sounding bad and it was just frustrating.
