He didn't care about Reese hearing stuff. He wasn't going to tell her anything that would totally give him away. He wasn't stupid. Reese would stop him from doing this any way possible. She was ruthless like that. |
Max kept a safe distance from the horde of autograph-seeking students and overly-flirtatious adults. At least I didn't insult anyone. Equal attention regardless of age, appearance, or gender. AND I SMILED CONTINUOUSLY. His blue eyes kept watch on everyone and he remained expressionless. Oh, Plymouth! Hot Snot! Classic! Do these kids realize that I'm the only experienced professional in this tent? Five. YES, FIVE World Cup appearances. These egotistical novices ZERO. I WIN. Then he caught the exchange between Colin and Annie. "Professor Bunbury. A word, please?" |
*strolls over from the field* So pretty much, Anna had decided to just play it cool with one Mr. Colin MacKenzie. She'd sort of made up her mind that he was a little stuck on himself, so she'd hung out at the pitch for a little while before deciding to stroll over to the autograph tent. She really did want his autograph, though. Of course she wanted all their autographs, but Colin...siiigh...he was, as much as she hated to admit, her little crush. As she walked into the tent, she started thinking about how very much she'd like to hold a conversation with him without giggling or stuttering or something silly like that. Merlin there were a lot of people in this tent, though. Anna first came upon Emma Greene, but she didn't really stop or give the woman a second look. Sure, she wanted her autograph...later, but the woman had pushed Anna in an effort to get the snitch! Psh...meanie. ...and then, she saw him! Colin was hanging out in tent chatting with...Professor Bunbury?!?! But...but...but...was she twirling her hair while talking with him? Anna's little eighteen-year-old heart sank to the ground in defeat. She knew she was just being silly, though. Colin was just...a schoolgirl crush. Not to mention the fact that he was ages older than her, too. She still wanted his autograph, though. He was one of her favorite Quidditch stars ever! She approached the two, but sort of hung back a little so as not to interrupt them. Maybe they'd be done chatting in a minute, and she could ask for that autograph. |

"What if she finds out and deducts, like, two thousand points from Hufflepuff?" he asked, crossing his arms against his chest. |
Whit and Maxie. Reese looked like she was about to cry when Torin didn't take the paper. She looked up at him when he said it wasn't funny. "Fine, if you don't want to sign it. I'll take my paper somewhere else," she told him. She looked at Bunbury and Colin before she turned to Fyo. "I should get your autograph," Reese said with a smile. She pushed the paper and pen in Fyo's direction and quickly looked back at Torin. What the heck were him and Fyo talking about? She highly doubted she wanted to know. |
"I'll sign your paper in a bit, Reese. I promise." He was just glad she wasn't asking questions. "Fyo, I won't lose like 2 000 points. And you talking like this in a loud voice is doing more harm than anything." Unlike Fyo, Torin wasn't exclaiming anything potentially criminalizing. |

Wink wink again. Was Anastasia going over the top today? Maybe just a bit... she hadn't seen Marcus or Ethan around any brooms though, so, what was the harm here? "Colin, do call me Anastasia," the redhead properly introduced herself and even offered him her hand to "I'll have to take you up on that offer, then!" she said cheerfully, ignoring the annoying students crowding closer and talking louder and LOUDER. Obviously Colin was noticing them now too, because he did point out Plymouth Morgan. "Oh him....." Bunbury turned slightly and resisted rolling her eyes. "He's... well he is talented at my subject, Herbology, but he's also rather... touchy-feely, if you know what I mean. He forms attachments easily." And he doesn't know when to stop hugging. Quote:
Bunbury turned her head at the sound of her name and blinked at the Hufflepuff for a few moments, before slowly shaking her head from left to right. Who knew what he was going on about. Quote:

"Professor Vindictus....." she answered him with a nod. "Uh, sure? Excuse me a moment, Colin dear," Bunbury smiled again - ugh, she should stop that, smiling gave you horrible wrinkles - and then weaved her way through the crowd to where Vindictus was standing. "Is something wrong, Max? And why didn't you tell me you had a brother?" Annie asked quietly, starting to twirl her hair again but this time as a nervous gesture. |

Drew a kitten on it. "There," he said happily. "That's like.... a Reesekitty." Really! It was! A cute one, too. Quote:
"So - which professional player around here do you like best?" he said, straightening up and trying to change the topic. |
"Make way! Make way! Urgent Quidditch business!" Laden with several glasses of iced tea, punch, cookies, scones, muffins, licorice, and a small cheese platter, Tino elbowed his way back into the autograph tent in search of Drake Warren. Sure, the man had only requested iced tea. But what if he changed his mind later? Or what if his blood sugar got low? Whenever that happened to Tino, his hands shook. You couldn't give a proper autograph with shaky hands! Tino was firmly resolved. "Here, Mr. Warren! Your tea! And some other--stuff." Tino dumped the lot on the table next to the Beater. "You must try the gouda with the pepper cracker! It's divine. Are your hands getting cramped yet? I do a great hand massage!" |
Jack had to admit, the autograph tent was very intriguing. Even though he had been bugging Anna about her little fangirl crush allll night at practice, he was ashamed to say that even he had his little fanboy crushes on famous Quidditch stars. He followed her into the tent and was immediately greeted by complete and utter chaos. It was certainly a crowd in here! He looked around and saw Anna paying attention only to Colin MacKenzie, who stood nearby with...Bunbury? Interesting--yet not TOO surprising, really. All the boys seemed to fancy her, why shouldn't Quidditch stars? "Awww darn, Bunbury got to him first," Jack teased as he approached Anna. "Looks like you'll have to wait...in the meantime, you can help me figure out who I want to go to first...Ainsley or Greene," he said with a grin, glancing over at the two females. This was like, the HARDEST decision EVER. |
Dominic probably should have taken something to drink; it would have perhaps distracted him a certain All-Star Seeker who was standing over there by herself. It didn't help anything that their captain, Colin Mackenzie, was totally being swarmed with fan girls. The sixth year convinced himself that after going over to speak with Emma, then he would have to have a little chit chat with Colin over how he does it. Seriously, that Keeper wasn't anymore good-looking or a better quidditch player than he was! Maybe he just needed a catch nickname like 'Hot Shot'. Yes, that was clearly it. Quote:
But the bad thing was that now she was attacked with first a fellow Hufflepuff, whom he knew as Melanie Lockhart, since she played in a game or two last term. And then soon after, that annoying young boy, Cameron or something, attacked her. Followed by two more Slytherins, the first he didn't know and the second he knew minimally, but had worked with her in Arithmancy. Now he would never get to speak with her! To get her autograph or maybe even a hug! Pout. No fair! But wait... Hadn't she given him a smile!? She noticed him!!! Emma Greene had smiled at HIM!!! And unable to help himself, the sixth year was sure his endorphins responded by creating the slightly warmed feeling on his cheeks. Stupid hormones. Sighhh. It's now or never, Denton. How do you ever expect to go Pro if you can't even talk to a Professional? You're sixteen years old. How was he supposed to start this off again? Approaching the Cannons Seeker cautiously, the sixteen year old gulped as he arrived close enough to her. "Uh... Hello, Ms Emma. Greene?" Why did that come out as a question? Like he wasn't sure that was her name though he totally knew it was. Clearing his throat, he shook his head absently. "Sorry. I just wanted to say you played amazing today," And your lips look sooo enticing right now, he wanted to add, but didn't. He was a prefect after all and there were younger students here. Must set an example for them. "Seeker is a tough position though, as I should I know. I played Seeker on my house team my first term here, my fourth year." Just tell her your whole life story, why don't you, Denton? "Butt... err... yea... You did good!" |

"Yeah, they weren't real nice. But you know," Plymouth lowered his voice to his "whisper" - but everyone knew that Plymouth's whisper failed, "they aren't all that impressive anyway. It's not like they won. Hehe. Sore losers. I feel bad for them. " Shrug. Dooby doo. Waiting in line. Waiting waiting. Waiting on an autograph. And stuff. "Hey you see any corndogs? I promised Daphne one." |
Quote:
"Which part?" whispered Daphne dramatically, losing at the whole subtle attempt and staring pointedly at Professor BunBunz. "The part about her being taken or the part of her being with Truebridge? Because they're both really important. Avalon and Professor Truebridge. I was almost shocked out of my mind." SHOCKED. Ha. Made a funny. Because she had just been electrocuted and--Okay, moving on. JAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!! |

He couldn't believe his luck. Then Fyo dropped the subject. He smiled. "Anyone other than Colin," he stated simply. |
This. Was. So. Not. Fair. Professor Bunbury had all of Colin's attention! She sighed loudly, hoping maybe her presence would be noticed, but at this point, she wasn't very hopeful. For Merlin's sake, even Cale once had a crush on Professor Bunbury! Hearing her name from someone nearby, Anna glanced over to see that Jack Fritzera had followed her inside. Oh, ugh...and he was joking with her about her crush right in front of Colin (since she had, of course, moved to stand next to him as soon as she'd walked in). "Shut up, Fritzera," she half-snapped, poking him in the side. "He'll hear! She frowned at her captain, the followed up with a tiny smile so he'd know she wasn't seriously angry with her or somthing like that. "But...but...wait? What if they leave, and I don't end up getting an autograph? Jack, I've really always wanted his autograph, you know!" |
Quote:
Oh. Jack. Celandine smiled and waved at the Gryffindor. "Hey Jack how's it going?" And then Cela had an idea. She looked at her bare arm, past Jack and.... .... at Professor Vindictus. Hmmm. "Hey Daphne do you think Professor Vindictus would autograph my arm?" |
Quote:
"Stop twirling your hair, Annie," Max said in a hushed voice and pulled Bunbury close to him. "And don't even mention my unfortunate relation to me. Can you please stop your blantant flirting with Colin for ten minutes and allow the students to get autographs?" He pointed at Plymouth and Daphne. "Those two have been here since the game ended in hopes of getting Colin MacKenzie's autograph. It's our job to make sure the kids get to meet these athletes and when its over, I'm sure you can find a bush or tree to hide behind so you can snog the lips off of the so-called Hot Scot." There, he said it! And he sounded like his father. But for those bystanders who didn't know the two professors, it appeared that Max was having a lover's quarrel with Annie. |
Quote:
Well, they would, wouldn't they? Oh. Daphne nudged Cela's side slightly. "You know him?" Forget Daphne was in the same House as Jack Fritzera. She had spent most of her terms hiding from her fellow housemates. Maybe she needed to remedy that somehow. "Vindictus? I don't see why not. Do you want to go ask him?" Professor Vindictus was kinda pretty too. Kinda. Speaking of Vindictus he was having some kind of unpleasant talk with Professor BunBury. Appalled, Daphne blushed in BunBunz behalf. A bush? Snogging? Her hazel eyes fell back and forth between the two staff members. Just what was going on? Vindictus acted like he was growing tired of BunBury's behavior. Had it happened before? GASP. SCANDAL! |

He wanted Kizzie. |
Moving posts around, just to make things flow, you know. ;D Quote:

But then Max came along, and the whole conversation about that crazy kid sort of slipped through his mind. What was he doing over by them? Obviously, MacKenzie thought, he’s here to steal my Anastasia away from me. NEVERRRRR!! “C’mon, Maximus,” he said, making sure to say Max’s REAL first name. “Let Miss Bunbury here have a good time. That’s why we’re here right? To have a good time, after playing some good ol’ Quidditch? Why else would Rex ha-” And Anastasia was gone. NOOOOO! She better not be gone long, or Max will have to pay. Ahh! Such lovely fans. They want a signed autograph from me, of course! Ahh, such patient young ones. |

"Gouda eh? I love a good hunk of cheese." he said as he picked up the pepper cracker and gouda taking a bite. "You're right, t is good." he added after swallowing. Giving Tino a quick smile he ruffled the kids hair once more. "My hands are good for now kiddo, perhaps in a few more minutes though." he replied to him as nother student came up and he signed his mane. |
Quote:
He didn't like sounding or being annoyed with Fyo, but him pretending he could relate was not cool. Not like there was a hotshot flirting with Kizzie! |
Quote:
They weren't. They made games horrible! And denying Daphne Hopton autographs? That just wasn't acceptable. Raiden looked at the little notepad in his hands. If Daphne Hopton wanted an autograph, then he would get one for her, for sure. "...What... corndog?" Raiden asked, staring at Plymouth Morgan. "They have those here? I didn't... notice." |
Whit and Maxie. Reese took her paper back and looked at the kitty that Fyo drew on it. "It's lovely," she stated. "Thanks." She took her eyes off the paper and that's when she saw.... DRAAAAAAAAKE. "There he is!" She exclaimed. |
Quote:
"You feel like punching Colin in the face, and then whisking Professor Bunbury to a giant, all-to-yourselves castle where you can give her PINK! slippers -- and then get whacked repeatedly by them because, obviously, she doesn't want to be there," he said, a little coolly. "Hehe." Gotcha! Quote:
"Haiii!" he said, bounding off towards the professional quidditch player without even telling Torin where he was going, and coming to a halt right in front of Drake. "Can you, like, gimme an autograph? Please? Pretty please?" And he held out his oh-so-awesome autograph!diary. |
