LIKE. HER. Oh, Merlin, why did Max have to have a chat with her? It wasn’t nice to take someone out of a hearty conversation. The big meanie. “An autograph. Hmm.”

Pulling out another piece of parchment, MacKenzie quickly signed his name in record time near the bottom of the parchment and thought of a quick little message to say. After a few brief moments, he wrote:

Quote:

Dearest Anna Greingoth,

Remember the day you snatched that final Snitch underneath
Emma Greene’s nose. I will never forget it! You, seriously,
have some mad Quidditch skills. Just don’t tell that to
Greene, she will have a cow if she hears what I said.

Anyway, it was nice getting to meet you.

With love from your #1 Quidditch player,

Colin ‘Hot Scot’ MacKenzie

P.S. I hope that, someday, we will meet again!
Remember to owl me. (I love Chocolate Frogs and Fizzing Whizbees.)

Nodding his head after rereading his autograph, he handed it back to Anna. “Here you go, Anna!” Mackenzie muttered. Smiling, he leaned in a bit closer and whispered, “I’m serious about that last bit there. Share that with no one. I don’t need anything nasty going on with love potions being mixed in. It’s happened before!”

Standing back up properly to his full height, he winked at Anna and noticed that Anastasia wasn’t back yet. Ugh! If she’s not back in … five minutes … I’m going to find her!

Hunt him down? Hunt him down? Was this dude for freaking serious? Had he not been the Colin MacKenzie, Anna would have rolled her eyes at him and really let him have a piece of her mind. As it was, though, she just...pretty much...stood there and let it go. When he called her by name again, she smiled and started the hair-twirling process all over again. EEEE, he was getting out parchment...parchment for her autograph! In her mind, she sort of squealed, but she didn't dare do such outloud. She'd already stuttered like a babbling idiot out there on the field. She wanted Colin to at least see that she had some sense to her.

He sure was taking a little longer than the usual to sign his name, though. Dare she believe he was writing a special little note to her? Oh, yeah...it had to have been the hair twirling. Then finally, he was passing the parchment over to her, and she could clearly see a rather long message on it. Her heart skipped about ten beats then, especially when he leaned over to whisper something to her. “I’m serious about that last bit there. Share that with no one. I don’t need anything nasty going on with love potions being mixed in. It’s happened before!” Ohh, last part? What in Merlin's name had he wrote to her? Her eyes scanned through the paper, growing wider and wider as she read more and more words. Owl him? Owl him?!?! She gazed up at him, her eyes sparkling with fangirlness, and said, "I won't forget...Colin," she said. "Remember to owl back. I like jewelry, high heeled shoes, and oversized handbags." Ha. If he could be so stuck on himself as to make requests, then so could she. The guy was cute, though...extraordinarily so. She could overlook that one little flaw. "Thank you, Colin."

Daphne reached out a small hand, placing it in Jack's own. "I am," she replied slowly, wondering if he was being polite or he genuinely recalled seeing her. HMPH! If he didn't know who she was that would have to be fixed. Pronto. "I'm Daphne Hopton. It's very very very nice to meet you, Jack."

Daphne smiled sheepishly at Jake as Celandine prattled on. Oh, wow, she knew her friend could go off at the mouth every once in a while but it seemed today was one of those days. EEEEP! Giving her a sly smile he finally spoke, "Good game out there, you're a natural." he crossed his arms and held out a quill and a piece of parchment. "What broom were you using out there?" He asked giving her his normal everyday smirk.

So, she wasn't sure about the autograph thing...BUT, then she heard a voice she'd never heard before.

And the voice gave autographs to many, many others while she simply...kept drinking some pumpkin juice. Greeeeeaaaaat impression. Not that she honestly cared. He wasn't a Wasps player, he was....the enemy :shifty:...because he played for the Arrows. Er, but that wasn't the point at all.

"Why, thank you, Sir...though, I'm more of a Beater, actually" however, Punz placed her as Keeper many times while she was Captain, and Punz was always right, but she was more into beating bludgers since beating Dominic with a bat was out of the question. ;)

And the broom..."A Silver Arrow" because that used to be her dream broomstick up until she got it, "But this one..." she started to say, gesturing towards the Firebolt, "...well, I was wondering if you could sign the handle for my brother, his name is Trey, and he's a big Appleby Arrows fan..." there was bitterness in there somewhere, "...actually, I think you might know my father...Jack Lockhart...he was chaser for like 15 years or so in there..." because repeating the team's name was out of the question now, "...he's now in the administration part of the team" but a Quidditch player was most likely to know another player, not the people in charge of the administration of a team anyway.

Heck, why not? She eyed the bat that was held in the same hand as the broom, her bat, "Since you're a Beater..." no kidding, everyone knew that, "...you can sign my bat" and trust me, this was an honor, considering she was a fan of his rival team, "I'm Kaika, by the way" personalized was better, so Trey wouldn't feel the need to take the bat from her.

"I am such a big fan of yours! You are amazing!"

Calm down, Torin...

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Torin," Kizzie said once the boy introduced himself and took the piece of parchment he held out for her, signing with her usual neat, slightly slanted print: To Torin. Love always, Kizzie Ainsley -- Chaser of the Holyhead Harpies.

Flicking a blond strand over her shoulder, Kizzie smiled appreciatively. "I'm nothing without the support of fans like yourself, love. Thank you," she added in regards to his compliment and handed him back the parchment.

Plymouth offered his arms for a hug? No, that's what he did. He offered his arms for a hug with his little mischievous grin perfectly in place. "You are PRETTTY. I mean, pretty good. I mean, REAL GOOD. Real good. Did you know?"

Blue eyes blinked, confusion didn't register on her face but for a second she was puzzled by the boy's action: spreading his arms open. Of course, Kizzie was expecting him to want something signed, as per usual, not that. He DID want a hug, right? That's what her nephew did whenever he wanted a hug. Or to be picked up; her nephew also happened to be a toddler.

Where they even ALLOWED to hug the students? Her own Captain wouldn't approve of it. Not MacKenzie, she had no idea what he would say, nor did she care. Her actual female Captain of the Holyhead team; she would probably frown upon it. That really didn't stop Ms. Ainsley either, it was more less was it going to anger any of the mother hens A.K.A the female staff members? Silently debating another second, Kizzie said rather lamely, FEELING rather lame for asking as well -- "Err, does that mean you'd like a hug?" Because honestly, she had no idea. Kizzie chuckled at what he said. "That's what I'm told, but I dunno." She shrugged and winked, prefering to let her fans be the judge of that. It was a miracle they hadn't COMPLETELY disappointed the students of Hogwarts with the failure of the match, though surely they were pleased their school won.

"Would you like me to sign something for you?"

Jack blushed. "Erm, thanks...they don't call me Captain for nothing, right?" he asked with a small smile. Pssh, Captain. He was still convinced it was a fluke in the system. He nodded when she brought up Tobi--what a player that guy was. "Yeah, his loss really hurt us...same with Alexis. We're still trying to recover," he said with a small grin. Cela would know nothing of losing Quidditch teams...helloooooooo, Ravenclaw!

Jack blushed yet again as he found himself once more in one of those situations where he was the only male, surronded by pretty females. How did this keep happening? And how long would his luck keep on lasting? "Uh, don't you think it's a bit early for that?" he asked with a small chuckle. He was certainly NOT practicing a wink on anyone anytime soon. No siiiiiiiir. He didn't plan on going pro anyways. He wanted to go to the moon, not the Quidditch World Cup.

Although, he had to admit, now that the idea had been brought up...it was slightly intriguing. Hmmmmm.

"Nice to meet you Daphne," Jack said with a smile and a head nod. Ahh yes, now he remembered hearing her name in classes and whatnot. Jack was going to have to get better at that name memorization thing. Cause right now he wasn't very good at it.

"Yeah, good point...especially if I'm seeker..." he muttered, trailing off when he realized the truth in his words. It had never occurred to him that, being seeker, most of the bludgers would probably be headed towards HIM. Gulp. Could they really kill someone? No, no, he doubted it--he'd seen a ton of nasty hits in his day and no one ever died. Hardly anyone died these days.

"Ooh well erm...no one really dies now, not like they used to, at least," he assuerd Daphne, whose face had turned tomato red all of a sudden. Was she worried about the bludgers too?

Sneakeh Cat 07-13-2009 06:46 AM

Tegz, Ama, Whit, and Lissy.

Reese followed Jack over to Cela and then she remembered she just left Torin all the way back there with Drake Warren. Oops? She turned her head towards him and gave him a look that said, 'I'm sorry.' She gave her friend a smile before turning back to Jack, Cela, and the blonde girl.

She looked down at her autograph paper. "Nwah, it's not a novel. It just says: Reese, you have a cute smile. Stay true to yourself and don't let other people get to you. Be cool. Drake Warren - Beater for the Appleby Arrows," she read. Was that a novel? She didn't think so. She shrugged her shoulders and looked back at Jack.

"Of course I want YOUR autograph," she told him. She let him take the paper out of her hands and while he was writing, she turned to Cela and the blonde girl. Oh, wait. The girl just said her name was Daphne Hopton. "I don't think we've met, Daphne. I'm Reese Upstead," she told her. She turned back to Jack when he handed her the parchment. "Thanks," she said. She read the message on the paper and couldn't help but smile blush. She rocked his world? Awww.

Three gorgous babes? Swoon-making wink? Make all our hearts go a-flutter? Reese looked back at Cela and then to Jack. She was going to see what he had to say about this. He better not go and wink at other girls and make their hearts go a-flutter. Jack was hers! Even if he didn't know it, yet. Seeing him wink at other girls would just crush her.

MacKenzie beamed when Other Boy thanked him for the autograph. “Not a problem at all, my boy. Not a problem aaaaaat all. It was my absolute pleasure!”

After Other Boy went and did whatever kids named Other Boy do, he looked at Anna. Weeeell? What did she think about his autograph? It certainly was one of a kind. Though, later on Anastasia was going to get the best autograph he had ever given to anyone. No one but Anastasia and he would know about that for sure. It’d be their little secret.

Three more minutes.…

It seemed to take a while to get a reaction out of Anna after he had handed her his autograph, a little note included. Maybe he had shocked her so much that she couldn’t speak? Well, that has been known to happen before … but this was Anna Greingoth, the girl who had swiped that Snitch right from underneath Emma Greene’s nose. Surely she wasn’t that surprised. And after all they’ve been though together?! Naaaaaw! That was just a few quick conversation or two and an autograph. Surely Anna was better than this. That was what he expected. Plus she knew how to do the HAIR THING LIKE ANASTASIA! Look! Look! She did it again!

MacKenzie let out a sigh of relief when she finally responded to him. Thank Merlin! I was beginning to worry there. If she had fainted or something I’d have had to perform CPR! And the fan girls would not have liked that at all. Especially MY Anastasia! … Though, if CPR was needed, that just might have covered up the whole match loss that was probably on the front page of the papers by now. Oh well!

“Hmm. I’ll try to remember that, Anna,” MacKenzie said honestly. It was very possible he’d forget Anna’s few likes that she had told him easily either because A) Anastasia returned from that so-called ‘chat’ with Max, B) he went searching for Anastasia because she hadn’t returned, or C) Anastasia returned, but Max has somehow upset her. Either way Max was asking for trouble, even if A happened. Rex would be so disappointed in his brother’s bad-mannered behavior. “And not a problem at all. It was my pleasure! Especially for someone such as yourself.”

Two minutes.

She faked a cheery smile for Anna and leaned closer to Colin. She would've wrapped her arm around his but, you know, that could mess up the autographing - and she still needed one of his.

“BUNNY!” MacKenzie shouted, not really sure where the ‘Bunny’ bit came from. Perhaps it was her last name that had inspired him for such a nickname. Whatever. Autograph Tent! Annnnnnnnnnnd Quidditch players!!!

Alice made her way to the Tent, for the very first time in her life only to see what was going on after she heard and seen all the commotions around the school. Crowd. My Goodness! It was such a crazy crowd. Autograph hunters. She was allergic to crowd.

Seeing the students, waving though their favourite players for autographs, Alice stood away from the crowd, not wanting to get involved with any stampede, just in case. Smilingly she was watching them, such a show, like an exhibition to see. Haha. But..wait..

Her heart started to stammer against her chest. It was...who? Fyo?

Favourite fan?

Brilliant!

"Yeah, I play quidditch," he said, nodding quickly. "Not on the school team or anything," he added, this time more hesitantly - he had had a problem with nerves, at the time of try-outs, he had. "But I'm good at chasing. Plus -"

He broke off, hearing a familiar voice. Torin!

"What do you mean, am I in here?" Fyo asked, Kizzie's spell over him breaking for a moment - probably because Torin had made him realized he was not acting.. well, normal. But - but she was SO awesome!

He needed to get away from Kizzie.

Else he would have KizzieCrush Syndrome FOR LIFE!

Wait - what if Butterfly found out? OH NO! Fyo quickled turned to her - Kizzie, not Butterfly - trying not to gape, as he did so. "I'll be back in a minute," he said with a nod. "Just need to.. get an autograph from Quinn." Yeah, that would do as an excuse. "It was lovely meeting you, though," he added. "Thank you for -- signing me."

I love you. Errr.... "Wait for me, will you, Tor?" he said, poking his friend in the ribs. "I'll be back in a sec."

Must.

Stop.

Thinking.

Of.

Kizzie.

Quinn. That was Quinn, wasn't it? The hot-looking duuude who played for the -? Oh, forget which team he played for, it was enough awesomeness that the guy was here! Fyo trotted off towards him, still in a sort of daze.

Must. Not. Think. Of. Kizzie

KIZZIE, KIZZIE, KIZZIE!

"Hello," he greeted, finally finding Quinn free of dazed-looking PINK! ladies. "Have I told you you're an awesome flier?" Well, he hadn't, he knew that, but it was still a good way to compliment someone, no? Fyo gave the Quidditch player a huger smile than usual - yes, he was still suffering from KizzieCrush Syndrome - holding out his autograph!diary.

"I'd love to have an autograph," he said with a smile.

....

Where was Kizzie?

Alice's eyes widened at what she was witnessing. Fyo. You too?! She knew he was so interested in quidditch, but fan following? Fandome? She grinned to herself. Her smile vanished immediately after seen him flirting???! OMG those eyes full of .........ugh. His big dreamy eyes just fixed on the female player. She saw them his lovely eyes in such a mood and passion only whenever he was with her. But now...

Alice's had to fight the urge to just go and grab his arm and pull away from what he was doing. And to added more, She was touching......Eeeeee..she was touching him. Touching Fyo's arm. How dare! Time to action. Go Alice.

She weaved through the crowd in record time, just stood in front of him, "Remember me Mr. Lion?" she asked, her hands on either sides of her hips.

You're gone if you stay another second here.

Aislynn remained as calm as she possibly could. She didn't want to come across as some squealing, uptight, high maintenance fan girl. She had been following his career for the longest time. She could practically recite his biography. Her heart was fluttering as he handed her her autograph, she looked at it and gave a sensual smile. She wanted to come off as mature as possible.

"Thank you so much," Aislynn said. She batted her eyes a bit and then flipped her long shiny black hair behind her and leaned in a bit. "If there's anything else I could get you, it would be an honor. I'm sure a strong pulchritudinous man like yourself gets rather busy with all your travels, if you are ever in need of a publicist, someone who can help keep things less..."--she looked around at all the many people squeezed in the tent--"...chaotic in your life, I would be happy to oblige...if you get my meaning."

She couldn't keep her eyes off him. A little flirting never hurt anyone. He was the best Quidditch player she had ever known, she truly admired him, not only for his gorgeous good looks, but he had true talent in the sport.

Flicking a blond strand over her shoulder, Kizzie smiled appreciatively. "I'm nothing without the support of fans like yourself, love. Thank you," she added in regards to his compliment and handed him back the parchment.

"Wow! Thank you, Kizzie," he said happily as he took the parchment from her.

"I so watch all your matches when I can. Like I get upset if I miss them. You are like the best."

He was really, really starstruck. He kept staring at her autograph

Then he had a sudden thought: did he want to be around when Alice saw the mega crush that Fyo had on Kizzie?

Probably not. It was time to start thinking of an exit strategy.

Alice turned her gaze to him. Was he really talking to her? Oh..well he said her name. Hasnt' he?! Before dabating whether to respond to him or not for few minutes in her head, she decided to follow the courtesy.

"Hi. Umm.." she didnt know what else to say, just locked her lips together quickly. There you're Alice!

You're gone if you stay another second here.

Kizzie, Kizzie, Kizzie! Who was that! She raked his fingers through hair long silky hair. And he. Her so deary Lion, started to talk like a toddler. She was not smiling first but she had to stiffle his laugh as she noticed his funny ways of getting out of trouble and took a safe distance from the infamous female Quidditch player.

She went on the business straightaway briefly acknowledging his sweet blabbering. ""Oh..Nooooooooo." she frowned, "The place that you got her autograph was where I've planned to draw a butterfly," she pouted disappointedly as her finger pointed out his arm. Whined.

And she saw him pull Torin too for defence. Righto boys. I can wait for what you're coming up with. She stood there, looking back and forth at the boys, expectedly.

"Would you like me to sign something for you?"

..... ching! Plymouth's head snapped back around to Miss Kizzie "gonna give Plmouth Kissies" Ainsley. He reached over and prodded Raiden: It was their TIME. HEEE!!!

Plymouth held his arms up again. "Of course that means I want a hug. Why wouldn't I want a hug? I mean, you.. are Kizzie Ainsley... Get in these arms!!" Plymouth wiggled his fingers at her. Come on, woman! Make a sixteen year old boy's day, won't you??

"You can sign T-shirt, if you want." After hugs. Priorities, priorities.

She seemed to be something Norwood would call ‘a hot looking lass’ as he, unfortunately, knew the man and his ways (if you would even call them that). This was why he needed watching! Flirting with the Seeker during a match was bad enough for one day…

BLEH!

“Well, I’m sorry if my choice of words aggravated you, miss,” he replied, no smile attached. “I was simply complimenting her and her commentating. Yes, it was better than some commentators we have out there today, but some are better. “And I’m terribly sorry that you haven’t been to a Quidditch match with a commentator that met to your standards. … Though, we all have our own opinions, so go take a breather.” That wasn’t a suggestion either. It was an order. Oh! What now?

Did he just tell her to go take a breather?!?!

THE NERVE!!!!

She glared at the man, and growled her inhuman growl. Had she been less of a lady she would have hexed him where he sat on his broom! Instead she walked over to Max and stood with him. "I don't like that MacKenzie..." She said to herself, but loud enough Maxie could hear her. "

To Melanie:

Thank you for your support.

Best wishes,

Emma Greene <3

"Here you go, Melanie. Thank you. I hope you had fun at the game." she said as she handed the parchment to Melanie. One down, who knows many left to go.

Melanie grinned as Emma said it was okay, giving her nod as she told her she could call her Emma. "Emma it is then." she repeated. "You can call me Melanie...but you already know that's my name and all so I bet you were going to call me that anyway, but-"

Siiiiigh.

Right, she probably was going to call her that anyway, her being a mere schoolgirl, so honestly there was no need to ask her to call her that any way.

No need. Zero. Zitch. Zip.

And Zip was exactly what she needed to do to her lips after all that nervous babbling.

Bleh. Stupid nervousness making her all babbling.

Melanie peered over at the autograph as Emma, wrote feeling a bit guilty about the support part, because she'd been supporting Hogwarts at the game, but nonetheless extremely happy with it. Besides she would support Emma in the league games, that was for sure.

"It's spectacular!!" Melanie informed her enthusiastically, taking the autograph, and hugging it against her chest ...maybe a bit possessively?. "Thanks bunches!" she said gratefully, already planning on what to do with the autograph.

"OoOhh, yeah. The game was a lot of fun to watch." she assured her nodding. Even if they got creamed by Hogwarts and were hard to keep her eyes on when they were moving so quickly. They were still fun to watch. "Thanks for coming to play here. Good Luck with the Cannons this year." she added, smiling. At least she sounded okay now right? Not babbly...or rambling...no stuttering...or anything that sounded weird...

Sweetness.

Eyeing all the other people waiting for their turns, she gave Emma a last wave and a smile before skipping off, a bit sad to leave her. "Byeeee Emma!!" she said, finally, as she left her in search of more autographs. Who next, who next...?

Tommehbell 07-13-2009 06:24 PM

Ok, well she knew she was short and all but Colin MacKenzie just totally ignored her like she didn't just ask him to sign her bat. Like she was a figment of his imagination. If she started swinging her bat around like a crazy person everyone would cart her off to the hospital wing like she really was crazy. But it was ok to ignore the short person int he room.

Well that sucked. She stepped back from the throng of other people getting his autograph.

She put her quill and bat back into her purse.

"Meeee!" Fyo exclaimed excitedly. "I mean," he added, collecting himself. "It would be awesome if you could, you know, sign in my autograph diary - I mean - please," he ended lamely.

Where the heck was Torin when Fyo needed him most?

"Sure Pretty Eyes." he smiled charmingly at her, before wrapping his arms tightly around her. Kip gave her a quick squeeze before letting go. How was that for a hug? Beat that MacBoring.

Dani squeezed him back for a moment before he let go. She loved hugs. "You're a good hugger too!" She was the random hugger, well, her and Plymouth. She wanted to jump up and down with happiness, but that would be weird. So she didn't. He was definately still her favorite, good hugs and all. He even said she had pretty eyes. But eventually she'd have to share him with his other fans.. Bummer. She did not like to share.

Fake. So, so fake. Yet handsome. So, so handsome. Sigh. She needed to get out of here before she allowed herself to become even more of a babbling fangirl idiot than she'd already made herself out to be. She folded the autograph and tucked it far down into the pockets of her Quidditch uniform. She didn't want to chance losing it or letting it get damaged in any way. "Right. It was a pleasure for me, as well. Thank you, and, erm, have a nice day," she said, smiling and giving him a little wave before she finally turned and walked away. It was clear he really only wanted to associate himself with one person at the moment anyway. Lucky Bunbury. Like she said, though, she really should get going. With a final sigh, she left the tent and headed back to the castle.

Quinn Gallagher 07-14-2009 12:19 AM

Quinn walked around the tent greeting different fans. This was the last chance they had to meet him as he would be leaving in a couple of hours. He loved his adoring fans...and he only meant the ones that adored him.

Drake finished sighing another autograph, smiling warmly at the person before he looked up, feeling someone's eyes on him. Spotting a girl he smiled in her direction before looking back down and taking another long sip of his tea.

Drake quirked an eyebrow, smiling warmly at her. "Beater eh? That's a tough position, and if I may be so bold one of the best." he replied nodding as he looked at her.

Looking down at the broom in her hands his eyes glistened ."Ahh the Firebolt, good broom that one is. Sure I can sign it for him. Always happy to sign something for a fan of mine." he said taking out his quill and flourishing it before writing his message

SPOILER!!: signature
To Trey,
Keep rooting for the Arrows. We're glad to have you as a fan.
Drake Warren, Beater for the Appleby Arrows

At the mention of Jock Lockhart he grinned, "Ah Jack, good man he is. Very good Quidditch payer too. Tell him I say hello." he replied remembering the last time he had played with him. It had to be one of his last games hadn't it? He couldn't quite remember in all honesty but he was sure of playing with Jack.

"Well Kaika, I'll be happy to sign your bat." He said grinning as he took it from her. It felt good in his hands, and he swung it a few times in a low arch. "Good balance. you take good care of it don't you?" He asked as he bent his head down and wrote,

SPOILER!!: signature
To Kaika,
May your swings be mighty and you balance be true.
Drake Warren, Beater for the Appleby Arrows

"There you go hon, keep swinging." He said handing the bat back and smirking a sly smirk.

"And heyyy what an awesome prize!" Celandine gestured at herself, Daphne and Reese. "Getting to hang out with three gorgeous blondes! You should practice your swoon-making wink so that when you are all famous, you can do what they do and make all our hearts go a-flutter!" Cela apparently thought the idea to be hilarious. She offered a friendly grin at Jack and peeked over at Drake Warren again.

As he looked up again he saw the same girl give him a look. Speaking of bats he thought, his needed to be cleaned. The gunk on it had probably dried by now, leaving a gross sticky residue on it. Taking it out of his robes pocket he shuddered, his wand in his hands in an instant. Using a silent charm he cleaned the bat until it was spotless and shiny. Nodding, he lifted the bat, swinging it over his shoulder again. May as well let people see it he thought.

EEEEEEE!

Karma was excited to be in the tent, and she had walked in JUST in time to see her favorite professional Quidditch player walking around. She stopped for a moment, watching him walk around greet his fans. Ohh, his eyes were absolutely dreamy.

Gripping tighter to her book that she had brought, she only hoped she had a quill for him to write with. Okay, she flipped open the page next to the picture of Quinn's team. Ohh, and she was so close to him. Kris would FREAK out.

"Mr. Gallagher," Karma said, tossing her blonde curls over her shoulder. "Mr. Gallagher, if I may have your autograph." She held out the book that she had in her hands and smiled, her eyes sparkling at the aspect that she was getting to talk to a professional Quidditch player. Eeeeeee! "You were wonderful out there, along with the rest of the All Stars." Even though I was staring at you the entire time, she thought.

Well that sucked. She stepped back from the throng of other people getting his autograph.

She put her quill and bat back into her purse.

Whilst waiting for Colin to respond, Anastasia folded her arms and scanned the crowd, looking for another hottie (but not scotty) to ask for an autograph. MacKenzie was cute and all, but how long was he going to be here for? She still needed his autograph too.

An ah, apparently so did Paris. "Miss Greenwood, dear, come right up to the front here. Colin will sign whatever it is you need signed." She smiled at the girl and waved her forward. "This little lady was a great beater in the first session, MacKenzie. Sign her bat." Or whatever.

"Later, Alice," he said indifferently as he started to walk off with a Gryffindor clinging to his arm.

"Professor Bunbury," he said breathlessly when he reached her. "Can I have your autograph too? I mean since you were on the winning team and are an amazing flier?"

He tried not to let his admiration show too much as he ignored all the other people around them.

She nodded at the girl and then overheard her name being shouted YET AGAIN. And by a student - students were calling out her first name! WHY? If they were making fun of her or her hair, she was going to snag one of the beater's bats lying around the room and go to town.

But oh, of course, it was just that weird child, Torin Kane. "MY autograph?" she echoed the boy, happily stunned. The redhead's ego had just inflated by about a bajillion percent. "Why OF COURSE you can have my autograph. I was the winning captain, after all."

Beaming to herself, she whipped a pink quill out of thin air (magic, you know) and held it out, poised to sign whatever Torin wished. "Where do I put my autograph?"

Copernicus wandered into the signing tent place and glanced around dryly. What... was all this madness? They were just men and women in ridiculous outfits who were SLIGHTLY more adept with athletics... than Cope would ever be in his life. Not that he really cared about that. There were books, afterall. And Cela liked him, who liked books... so who cared about...

Wait. Cela was here. Maybe she wanted to scoff at the ridiculousness too. Maybe she needed a scoffing partner. He scoffed.

Hmm, so Kizzie Asomething had signed the parchment first? Anastasia's brow wrinkled slightly, as she was tempted to hex the name off there, but she would play nice. For the students, sure.

Then she asked him if he ever played Quidditch. He would if she wanted him to. He really would if she would do practice with him. I do occasionally, Professor." He was lying.

"Excuse me Professor Vindictus? I'm sorry to interrupt, but I was going to ask Drake for his autograph but then I realised that you are the best Quidditch player here AND you are totally responsible for the training of all the best players at Hogwarts plus plenty that already graduated. So I realised that I don't need to get anymore Pro autographs if you maybe might possibly autograph me?"

She held out her bare arm and her permanent ink quill.

Not that she regretted getting Quinn's autograph on her other arm though.

Sigh.

Oh she DID hope he'd look her up in three years!

"Cela, you know that I don't sign body parts," Vindictus said and frowned at the pros who were autographing anything that was shoved at them. "If you want, I'll give you an autograph that has actual value - my Beater's Bat from the last Quidditch World Cup I competed in. Would you like that?"

He better not go and wink at other girls and make their hearts go a-flutter. Jack was hers! Even if he didn't know it, yet. Seeing him wink at other girls would just crush her.

Right. She already knew her name. Daphne smiled politely, with a little bit of trouble. Unable to control herself she pursed her lips afterward. She wasn't that pretty up close. Nodding at her in acknowledgment Daphne turned to smile at Jack once more.

"Jack, do you happen by any chance to be particularly good at Divination?"

She had SEEN the autograph on his forearm?

"Well, you know, I could always rub this off," Fyo said, quickly rubbing at his forearm. The thing written there did, of course, not disappear: It was permanent ink, and that wasn't going to be disappearing anytime soon. "Umm, you know, it's going to go away once I put some soap and water to it," he said, with a big smile.

"But, you know, you could always draw on my other arm and all."

HELP!

"Fyo," Fyo said, glad at the distraction [- part of which came from the fact that Kip looked surprised at his diary.] "Fyodor Balouch, actually, but it would be awesome if you use Fyo, instead. Because.... that's what everyone calls me." And when he said everyone, he MEANT everyone.

"Later, Alice," he said indifferently as he started to walk off with a Gryffindor clinging to his arm.

"No, wait," Fyo said. Lissy was going to be SO angry if he walked away right now, he was sure of it. But Torin was literally dragging him along, and there was nothing Fyo could do about it. Once the Hufflepuff had stopped - pretty much in front of Professor 'Anastasia' Bunbury - and, almost immediately, started gushing over her and asking for his autograph, Fyo turned to look back at Butterfly.

"Come over," he called out, finally managing to scatter something of his scattered wits. "Please?" he added, a little meekly.

Beaming to herself, she whipped a pink quill out of thin air (magic, you know) and held it out, poised to sign whatever Torin wished. "Where do I put my autograph?"

WHAT? Professor Bunbury was signing something for Torin? With a PINK! quill, too? Fyo shook his head, sure that he was never going to hear an end of this: Torin was going to be ecstatic to the point of appearing oh-so-dazed, for the rest of the day, now.

Well, at his comment it was to be expected the grinning of the sixth year. Yes, she knew it was the best position ever! That's why she played it. :P "Oh, not bold at all, you're totally right" it wasn't an easy thing to take care of bludgers. Nope.

"My brother would be so pleased" and will probably back off of her for the rest of the next summer, so this whole autographs thing was simply brilliant! "I'll tell my father you said 'Hi'" it was a polite thing to do, even if she had her issues with her dad.

Kaika was beginning to realize that this Quidditch player was simply the nicest one, compared to a few things she was hearing from the tent, and he totally has that 'favorite player' material if only he didn't play for the Arrows. :shifty:

'you take good care of it don't you?'
. Are you kidding?! Ask Emalyn what happened to her when she took it before a game last year! Poor Emalyn. "Of course I do! It's my bat, if I don't take good care of it...no one will" and everything will be ruined. Dramatic much?

She read her autograph, not caring too much about what Drake wrote for her brother, and smiled. "That's nice, thank you, Sir" she said, a smile still on her face. Needless to say, her bat was in her hands immediately.

"I will...and best of luck in the League!" you'll need it if you face the Wasps. "Thanks again" awww, no comments on how they played in Hogwarts?

Er, apparently not. Because there was another beater in sight. So, she simply waved goodbye to the nice Drake Warren, "I may see you again some time, in a game" well, she had access to great tickets, and she was dying to see Rapunzel play, so...she'll probably spend her summer Quidditch game after Quidditch game...Romania can wait.

AHA! Get him before he leaves. After getting the Firebolt signed for her brother, it was time for the other beater to sign her bat.

Not the Firebolt, because he didn't play for the Arrows, and she knew Trey wouldn't like his favorite team to get mixed with the Kestrels. This decision was easy. Just the bat.

"Quinn Gallagher, such a pleasure to meet you" or not, maybe, "You're a beater" wow, really? no kidding! "You can sign my bat..." but, it sounded a bit like an order, "...can you?" she smiled.

Perhaps this one was as nice as Drake, "My name is Kaika...and I'm beater for the Hufflepuff Quidditch team" even if 'Keeper' was the one he saw her in during the game.

"Yes sir." Celandine agreed with a little grin, she had know that he wouldn't likely... "Oh really? You would? Ohhh Professor Vindictus that would be wonderful! A signed beaters bat! Okay. There was one simple reason Em was there. Diana had pleaded him through owls to get the autograph of Quinn Gallagher. Meh...so, he walked along the tent, looking for the guy and there he was, signing random notebooks and photographs. He ligned up, ready to say that the autographed picture was for his sister, Diana...Ay, Elisa...!! He thought, mentioning her middle name in his thoughts, as if he was a bit upset with her for making him do these kind of things.

She nodded about the flowers and the Quidditch. "You really should join! I'm sure Hufflepuff could always use a good strong, uh, strapping lad like yourself..." Er, however old the kid was. He wasn't as strapping as professionals like Colin MacKenzie, obviously, but Quidditch gave people big egos muscles. He'd get there.

Okaiii.. Don't get Fyo wrong. He LOVED Professor Bunbury. Because she was a good teacher. Someone who he knew could get them to pass their exams with awesome marks. Someone who.... knew her subject.

But an autograph?

.....

"Uh - Sure, professor," Fyo said, not wanting to seem impolite. "That would be lovely, so why not?" Yeah, he could probably give Torin the thing, and then Torin could get TWO of them framed.

"Well, that's a nice autograph," Jack said with a smile, reading the paper from over her shoulder. That wasn't too hard to do, given his height and everything. "Better than mine...my autograph from Colin told me to lay off the sugar. Just what I need--advice from a professional Quidditch star," he joked with a laugh. After all, hadn't HE just beaten them at Quidditch?

Exactly. Point proven.

It's not like you can go: "Oh, pity. The seeker has gone into the beyond." Daphne was sure that that was something not even a time-out could fix.

Daphne raised a brow when she suddenly got goosebumps. Turning her head slightly she tried to find the source of such creepy vibes. Weird. It felt like some kind of creepy stalker was watching her.

Which probably wasn't too far from the truth. Smiling secretively, she flicked her blond hair over her shoulder. Right. Jack. Just for good measure, Daphne batted her lashes.

Jack laughed. "Yeah, that would definitely be a shocking commentary...I don't think there's any way to put a comforting twist on that one for the crowd," he told her. He wasn't about to admit that she was worrying him a bit--seekers going into the beyond hardly happened anymore, right? Right. So he needed to stop worrying.

He raised an eyebrow when she started batting her eyelashes...she was acting like Anna when she was around that Colin MacKenzie. That was probably the case with Daphne as well--after all, they were standing right in the middle of the tent, in the thick of the action.

Shaking his head and snapping back to the conversation, he shrugged. "Divination? Well erm...not so much, to be honest. I've never really had the 'eye' or gift or whatever you want to call it. I'm more into astronomy, to be honest," he said. That was a bit of an understatement...after all, this was the fellow who carried a telescope around in his bag all the time. Just in case.

Anastasia blinked and shook her head a few times to pull herself out of memory lane as Fyo produced something for her to sign. "Why not, that's the spirit," she muttered, winking at the kid and flourishing her quill.

SPOILER!!: AutographZOMGyay! Pretend to look excited, now. ;)
For Fyo,
You're a real Gryffindor Genius at Herbology. Don't be shy in asking for future autographs from me, you courageous lion you! ;)
Hogwarts All-Star Super Staff Team Captain,
Professor Anastasia R. Bunbury

"There you are, m'boy!" Bunz practically shoved the little autograph book back at Fyo and then tucked her quill behind her ear. "I think I'm going to go get a drink now---" for yes, she had basically forgotten about Colin in her ten seconds of fame "---and you kids should go get some more autographs, not that any of those will be as gorgeous as mine. Ta ta!"

She did a little wave and hair flip at the two Hufflepuffs and Gryffindor and then shimmied through the crowd toward the food table. Oh this game was such a great idea, perhaps she'd have to owl Rex Vindictus and compliment the man himself later.

After all, hadn't HE just beaten them at Quidditch?

Exactly. Point proven.

Reese nodded. "It is a nice autograph and Drake is also a very nice person," she said as she folded the paper back up. Not to mention he was REALLY cute! She raised her eyebrow when Jack told her about his autograph from Colin. Lay off the sugar? Did Jack even eat sugar? "I've never seen you eat sugar before," she told him. "I've never you eat chocolate around me or anything." She didn't not understand that autograph at all.

"Jack, do you happen by any chance to be particularly good at Divination?"

Reese eyed Daphne as she smiled at her, then turned right back to Jack. She was defiantly giving Fritzera a lot of attention. Actually, she was giving him way more attention than he deserved. Okay, that was mean. Jack deserved attention, but not from a girl that pursed her lips her lips at her. She moved herself a little closer to Jack and flashed the girl a smile, before she turned back to Jack.

He sighed and was about to ask her to tell him some stories when she suddenly started to walk away from them.

"NUUU! Anastasia!" he said sadly as she was gone in the crowd.

GRRR! She was going off with that Colin dude. "That Colin is a loser!" He was back to sulking.

"Not unless you distract them with money," she mumbled with a furrowed brow. Candy also crossed her mind but Daphne thought that money was more of an universal like than candy. "Astronomy?"

Oh. That's sad, she thought glancing over her shoulder to make sure Celandine hadn't gone too far from her and wasn't doing anything she'd regret seeing later. Celandine wouldn't, obviously. The girl rarely did anything she regretted but Daphne found a lot of her activities to be--mind boggling..

"I don't really know anything about Astronomy," added the blond. That was the end of that topic. "It's just that for Divination--you see," she hesitated and bit her lip.

EUGH! "Professor Kapoor forced a duck on me!"

She really didn't want that stupid duckling. "And I'm supposed to teach it to pull a card out of a tarot deck!" Who did that anyways?

They were talking, Reese Upstead and Jack and Daphne had to pretend she was being polite and listening. So she focused on a blurry object over Reese' shoulder and smiled.

Politely. Sort of.

Except, she caught the girl looking at her and she stopped smiling long enough to blink. "Is there something wrong?" Say, perhaps, do you like my hair that much?

Kip let a chuckle form, as the blond asked him who they were hiding from. It wouldn't be the first time he had to hide from a fan. "No, not a student. I'm hiding from something worse than that." he paused, going for the dramatic approach. "A Colin MacBoring speech." he whispered into her ear.

He couldn't help but laugh at his joke, as they made it to the food table. "What would you like?" he asked, picking up two cups. Darn. No Fire Whiskey! He momentarily forgot they were in a school as he settled for a butterbeer.

Even Marleen.

"Wow. That's an interesting name ya got there." Kip chuckled. When the boy said his full name, his eyes widened slightly. How the bloody hell do you spell a name like that? Then he requested a shorter version of his name. Good. He would have butchered the name.

"Yeah, there are lots of hot male players," he said dryly. "Go on - go flirt with them. Why should I care?"

Alice sartled and took a step back. He was angry. Not good. It was something new to her. She was just teasing. Cant a girl get to tease her boyfriend? "No..I just..teased..you" she choked, her eyes welled up with tears, " I'm sorry" she looked down on her own shoes again cursing herslef.

Jack saw Daphne glance over her shoulder at Cela, who had wandered away from them in search of autographs. She was in a completely different world now. He shrugged when Daphne said she didn't know much about astronomy--not a lot of people did. "Yeah, some of it can be kind of boring, like all that physics mumbo-jumbo," he said in agreement. He had to admit, that part of the subject was ridiculously BORING. And it made his brain hurt.

"Wait, WHAT?" Jack asked again, quite certain he hadn't heard correctly. A DUCK? Had Kapoor gone loopy? That was by far one of the weirdest assignments he had ever heard of. "But--why would anyone want to teach a DUCK, of all animals, to do that?" he asked in shock.

THIS was precisely why he despised the subject. It was all a bunch of nonsense.

"I think the duck will be more interested in eating the cards, to be honest," he said to her with a little sigh. "And erm...what purpose is training a duck supposed to serve, exactly?" he asked.

As he waited for her to reply, he started to notice that there were some strange, non-verbal exchanges going on between Reese and Daphne. Did these two have some sort of past rivalry that he was unaware of? No, they had only just met, he had seen them introduce themselves...maybe they were just being weird. After all, girls WERE awfully loony sometimes.

He felt giddy. He remembered going to a concert once when he had barely began playing. "I should be asking for your autograph. Maybe I will actually, you can sign my bat if you want." he said grinning as he shook hair from his face. "I did actually, along time ago. A lot has changed since I've walked those halls though." he nodded once more, his eyes taking on the appearance of rememberance. I was a Gryffindor." he said proudly before adding, "Didn't have a lot of friends, but played Quidditch nearly everyday. A lot has changed since I've walked those halls though." he nodded once more, his eyes taking on the appearance of rememberance. "Yeah, I found out my greatest fear was finding out I was a horrendous player, hitting everything but the bat." he shook his head briefly not saying who or what his Boggart self had hit. "The students will enjoy it though, you learn a lot from finding your deepest fear." he said shrugging slightly.

Oh he was definitely glad that he had come down here now. The guy wanted his autograph and he wanted it on his bat!! Axe, was in ego heaven. "No problems dude" he said taking the bat from him and pulling out a quill. Yes he still carried a quill around in the off chance someone would ask him for an autograph.

Marcus, gave Drake a quick up and down look. "Seriously, it couldn't have been that long ago." Then he leaned in a little closer so that no-one else could hear what he had to say. "When I was younger, my greatest fear was missing the chords and being booed off stage." Now however he was unsure of what is fear would be, probably something ridiculous like not being remembered.

To Drake,

The best damned quidditch player I have ever known. Keep hitting those bludgers.

Axe Lawson.

Marcus handed him back his bat and grinned. "Now it's only fair that I should have yours."

Wait -- The autograph said something about Gryffindor? "Hey, give that back," Fyo said, snatching the thing back from Torin, and going through it once more. "Guess what?" he said, looking up at Tor with a grin on his face. "I've decided I like it. Annnddd -" Dun, dun, dun - "I'm keeping it."

"There ya go mate. Have a good one." Kip said, handing the diary back to the boy.

"Thanks," Fyo said, in answer to Kip's comment. "It means Gift of God." Hehe. Wait - Fio? KIP HAD SPELLED HIS NAME WRONG! "It's F - y - o," he said, spelling out his chopped-up first name as he eyed the autograph with a sigh of sorts. "Buttt - It's okay, I guess. And.... thank you."

What, what, what? Oh no, he had done a BAD thing. Because now Butterfly had TEARS in her eyes. Oh no, oh no, oh no. "I'm sorry," Fyo said quickly, at the same time as she said the very words. Drake couldn't help but grin widly as he watched Axe, that's right THAT Axe Lawson sign his bat. His horrible day was turned into the best day of his life! "Aw man you are amazing!" he said excitedly as he took the bat back, his eyes locked on the words.

"Sometimes it feels like it has." he replied before grinning again. "Sure thing mate." he replied taking out a fresh piece of paper and grabbing his quill from his inside pocket. He frowned for a second before writing

To Axe,

May you always remain as awesome as you are now. Don't let the students tell you otherwise!

With that finished Drake handed the parchment over and stiffled a yawn. "Sorry to cut this short, but I hear a bed calling for me." He said in a casual voice. "It's been awesome meeting you though, seriously it made my day." he said cheerfully. Wow, who's was being the hyper active fan now eh Drake he thought as he grinned like a fool.

Aw. Now he was apologized. She noticed his nervous tone. She knew why he was getting nervous now? She knew he hated to make her sad. Always. Alice's inside squirmed instantly at thought of him caring her. That was him. Fyo. Alice blinked twice to get rid of those silly tears. Go away,, i dont want to scare my Lion.

She looked up, waving her hand dismissively. "No..no one's fault." she sniffed and smiled. "Shall we go somewhere else Lion?" she desperately wanted him out of here.

"Oh yeah of course" Marcus replied taking the parchment and looking at what he had written and grinned like an idiot once again. "It was totally awesome meeting you too." He gave him a wave and decided to head back to the castle and put Drake's autograph up on the wall.

"Hey!"

This was not fair! Fyo stole his autograph!! :(

"You already said I could have it! It's mine. Give it back!" Fyo didn't deserve the autograph. He didn't even appreciate Bunbury. He didn't see just how amazing she was.

He was sulking now.

"Hehe."

Whu whu?

Plymouth Morgan had just jabbed him. Raiden looked up from his pathetically blank little notepad and Plymouth Morgan was... wiggling his fingers at a very very very pretty lady. Raiden's face turned red. PRETTY QUIDDITCH PLAYER Kizzie Ainsley.

"Oooooh," he mumbled, staring at his feet. Plymouth Morgan was soliciting hugs.... which Raiden rather enjoyed, but he'd wait his turn to ask for an autograph. And probably only an autograph. Because really, Ms. Ainsley didn't look like... she was very into giving hugs. And he'd learned his lesson about just taking them, earlier in the term.

Taking the bat from the Blond.

"There ya go." Kip smiled, handing the bat back to the petite girl.

She smiled as they moved away from Paris. She was sad he probably had to leave... she would have liked giving him a tour of the ground... though, with her luck, it would start flooding... He was going to send her tickets to the next Falcon/Magpie game. She LOVED the Falcons. Ever since she was a child. "Mr. Norwood it's been a very big honor meeting you and sharing a butterbeer with you, seeing you be so flexible and signing things for the students, just elevated my already high opinion of you. Thank you for coming to our little match." She said putting down her empty bottle.

She wasn't angry, any longer!

Fyo could have SQUEALED, he was so happy. "Thanks," he began, sliding Lissy a grin. "For making my day." And returning to your normal, cheerful mood. Somewhere else? Suurre! Fyo had been dragging Torin away, only minutes ago. He nodded at Lissy, turning back to Tor.

Alice's smiled widened. He was so cute. Even with that autograph on his forearm. Haha. She looked at his now calming face. Oh boy, you scared me a few minutes before. She really really wanted to poke him, but ..no..not here ..in front of all. A mischievous smirk played on her face at the thought. "Wow. Shall we then? Tell me where?" she wouldnot mind the place as long it was not autograph tent. Meh..

She saw him dragging Torin too. My Goodness. But all the chocolate talks made her zip her mouth atleast for a while from protesting against it.

She asked as she grabbed Paris Greenwood and pulled her over. "This is Paris, she is a fabulous quidditch player, which I'm sure you saw, and the captain of the Slytherin Quidditch team." She reached for Paris's bat. "Would you sign her bat... I'm sure she'd be flattered."

The place was thinning out and she needed to go work on the game stagey for their upcoming game anyways. Plus there were too many tall people milling around for her taste. She felt like a goblin in a see of legs.

She was weaving her way toward the door to make a quick exit. It felt like she was a cub being pulled by the scruff of her neck when Professor Lupa pulled her over. She was going to have to gain weight and try out a engorio charm on herself. She squeaked when she saw what Professor Lupa was doing. "Flattered," she repeated in a daze.

"Well the kick didn't hurt that bad." she told him even though she had a bruise on her ribcage to show for the kick. She didn't want him to think she was a baby because she was whining about a little kick.

She grinned when he took her bat and signed it and she blushed when she read what he wrote. "Th-thank you," she stammered. He thought she was a good player, he actually noticed her playing. Even though she was trying to knock him off his broom the whole time.

Sweet

Divas did come in small packages!

Droo 07-14-2009 05:23 PM

Alessia smiled brightley and leaned in close to Kip... who smelled DIVINE!!! How can a man, just off the pitch smell that good! Oh Right... the leaning... She leaned into Kip and whispered softly, "Thank you, for making her smile." She said.

Politely. Sort of.

Chocolate frogs every once and a while?! Reese needed to carry Jack down to Honeydukes one day and load him up with sugar. So, then, she can at least say she watched Jack eat sugar. "I couldn't live a day without eating chocolate frogs. I have like an obsession with them," she said. "Ah, I see how he mistaken that you were on a sugar rush. I mean, you were on a roll during the game." She giggled at Jack's sarcasm.

She turned back to Daphne when she asked if something is wrong. "No. Nothing is wrong," she answered. That was sort of a lie, but who cares. She was a Slytherin and Slytherins could lie if they wanted to. She brushed her hair behind her ear and looked back at Jack.

"I think I'm going to go now. I'll just let you and, erm, Daphne talk for a bit," she told him. She looked towards the girl and smiled. "I'll see you later," she added. She turned on her heels and headed towards the door, but then she noticed Fyo and Torin. And, by the looks of it, Fyo had an autograph from Bunbury. Doubting that was HIS autograph, since it looked like Torin was upset about something and it had to be because Fyo took his autograph. Why else would Torin look upset? She headed over to the two boys and quickly grabbed the autograph from Fyo. "I'll have this," she said. She handed the autograph to Torin. "There you go, Kane," she told him. She smiled at her friend, then she left the tent and headed back to the castle.
