Plymouth didn't know what to do with his hands anymore, but they were TOO happy to stay in his pockets a second longer. He got them out and hugged himself - since hugging Daphne was out of the question. "Really really? We'll.... We'll have SO much fun, Daphadil! I'll wear the hat. Unless you want to," Plymouth joked. "Hehe."

So... when he'd booked his date with Evolette - there had been cheek kisses exchanged. Was that how it was supposed to be done? Like, to seal the deal? The date? Plymouth stared HARD at her cheek, with all his concentration.


... "I'll wear red for you. Maybe glitter, too." Since she'd mentioned him rolling in it. That'd be fun on a date....

Daphne wrinkled her nose and hummed as he hugged himself all the while mentioning that hideous head accessory. Miss Hopton attempted not to look at it, but even so, her hazel eyes felt drawn to it. Frightfully, she glanced down at it and wondered if she could burn it before this date ever happened. When she looked back up she noticed that Plymouth was doing that staring again. Staring back at him, she quirked her left brow.

"Consider glitter optional, please," requested Daphne. She wasn't entirely sure she wanted to see him sparkling pink.

And just what was he staring at. As if to push him to just spit out whatever that was occupying her thoughts, Daphne stuck out her chin. "Is there something else you want to say?"

"No....," Plymouth answered honestly. "Nothing more to say. Nothing more to do either. Evolette gave me a kiss," Plymouth reached out and just BARELY SORT OF KIND touched Daphne's cheek. "Right there. And I was wondering if you wanted one or needed one to seal our date. But, you probably don't and to be honest I'm too afraid to give you one. So, we'll just.. go places with marshmallows."


Plymouth would have to remember to start stashing some in his pockets. Like he used to do with candy.


"We'll go soon. I'll send Farrah to you again with a time? Or you want to let me know when you're available?" Daphne did seem the type to have a day planner. Hm.

"Oh..."

That had to be the most ridiculous thing she had ever heard! Worrying her bottom lip, Daphne blinked at the armor behind Plymouth, wondering if he too was scared enough to not want to kiss her.

That said a lot.

"Oh, see," began Daphne tapping her index fingers together nervously. "There's several days this week where I'm not completely available. There's a Quidditch match pending and I have homework to do and research...because I really don't know much about Quidditch? Why am I talking about Quidditch again?"

Errr.

"You can just send Farrah whenever," finished Daphne brightly and smiled.

Plymouth hopped around finished packing up his trunk. "Good deal, Daphne Hopton! I'll think up something good for us to do and we'll have sooo much fun. Just you and me." ... "Hehe."

He got everything packed away, including the shirt Daphne had picked out for him for his Evolette date. He had his white undershirt on underneath - which was good for... "Guess I can haul my trunk up the stairs to work on my muscles for my date with you this time."

"Hehe.." Plymouth grinned at Daphne and started pushing his trunk towards the door. "You want to ride it?" He nodded his head at the trunk. Seemed like a fun thing to him..

Where Plymouth managed to pull out all his energy from, Daphne had no idea and she watched him silently move about with what seemed a grin on his face. Rolling her eyes at the muscles bit, why in the world would he be needing his muscles for. "No point in exercising them," she told him bluntly. "It's not like you plan on hauling me up and down like dumb bells."

Right?

"Ride....?" Well...that seemed ridiculous! Daphne scoffed and turned her head to laugh. Yes, what a grand idea to ride a trunk while having a boy push it. "Don't be silly, Plymouth. I couldn't possibly ride your trunk." Her Mother would--Turning suddenly, she beamed grandly at Morgan. "Let's go, cowboy!" ordered the blond and hopped on the trunk.

"YeeHaw, Princess!" Plymouth patted the trunk top with GIDDY fervor. There's no way he'd make it UP that many flights of stairs without collapsing, but he'd just die trying.

It'd be worth it.


"Keep all hands and feet tucked in for the duration of this ride and buckle your safety belt!" Plymouth leaned over his trunk and nudged Daphne's shoulder with his nose as he started pushing. He placed a hand on each side of her to aid in keeping her on the trunk...


And they were off! Plymouth pushed them, him, the trunk, and Miss Hopton , right out the door and out into the hallway.

Helena wandered into a room she'd never been in before and looked around with interest; it was full of all sorts of suits of armor and was pretty cool. She sighed slightly, though, her eyes a dull gray that they rarely ever became as she walked around the room. A few of the suits creaked as their heads turned, but she paid them no attention; she was lost in her thoughts.

Chris was walking around the castle looking at each room. Walking in and out of some of them but more so if he had never been in them. So it was no suprise he wandered into the Armor Gallery. It was kind of neat but the armor wasn't what made him stay. He looked over and saw Lena. He followed behind her some of the armor moved which was pretty cool and Chris would have loved. Probably he would have stopped by them and watch them move most of the day but not now. As soon as he was close enough behind Lena he tapped her shoulder. "Hey Lena you ok?" He asked.

Helena looked around suddenly and, low and behold, there stood Chris. For the first time since they'd met, she actually didn't want to talk to him at the moment. She was so confused and had yet to make up her mind about what she was going to do about the situation yet. Oh, hey. Yeah, I'm fine, just a little tired. She smiled weakly. It wasn't untrue; she was in the middle of her OWLs, so it was a wonder she wasn't shut up somewhere studying.

Wow well somebody really wasn't in a good mood. Well fine then Chris could always just leave. "Right OWLs forgot sorry. If you want I could just leave. You probably have to leave soon to go study." He told Lena and rubbed the back of his neck. He knew something was up and it didn't seem like it had anything to do with OWLs. And mayb it would be better if Chris didn't know.

Helena shook her head slightly - despite what she was feeling, the last thing she wanted to be was rude. No, it's fine. I'm done for the night. She smiled a bit, and, knowing he could sense she wasn't in the best of moods, she felt rather bad. I've been thinking a lot lately, she said suddenly, looking in another direction and leaning against a spare bit of wall.

Oh noessss! She's been thinking and what has she been think about? What if she has finally figured out she does hate Chris that wouldn't be good! But no use freaking out........yet. "Thinking eh? And am I going to want to know about what?" He asked all he could do was hope for the best right?

Helena couldn't keep looking aimlessly around the room so she looked at her feet instead. Ick. Bad question, alright. Whether you want to, I'm not sure, but I think you should, either way. This was going to be hard to say; the words were getting stuck in her throat and she couldn't say anything else just then.

Great. Perfect. What ever Lena was about to say had to do with him. And the way she was feeling. And that meant they were going to talk about feelings. Although Chris as shown more of his feelings in the last year he still didn't like to talk about it. I mean he was a guy after all. Maybe if he just punched the wall again they wouldn't have to talk about it.... No he promised he would never do that one again. He looked at and sighed quietly. "Alright lets hear it then.

Helena took a deep breath and looked up at him finally, surprised to feel more confident as she met his gaze. I want you to pick Melinda, she said, her eyes light purple. This was almost more than she can handle, and not because she was weak - she'd never had to deal with this before.

Chris looked suprised at Lena. Wait what?????? Did he just hear her right? "Pick Mel?" He said again in a question. "But wait how did you come up with this. And why? And if I do will things go back to the way they were before?" He asked this was confusing sort of.

Helena looked away again - she couldn't stand the gaze he was looking at her with - and nodded. Because I just know that you're not going to be truly happy unless it happens any other way. That was one of the downfalls of spending so much time with Chris. She could see how they looked at one another, and he had flat out told her that he loved Mel. Why shouldn't it be like that?

Why did Chris just feel as if in some weird way him and Lena had just broken up? Which they couldn't have because they weren't together but that's the way he felt at the moment. Yes of course he loved Melinda but was it possible for you to love someone and really really like someone else? It had to be 'cause that's how he was feeling, that's how he has been feeling for months. "If that really what you feel is best. And look I'm so very sorry about all this. I put you through hell for nothing." He said looking at the ground he felt like the biggest jerk in the whole world.

Helena chanced a glance over at Chris and saw that he wasn't looking at her. She held her gaze there longer than she had anticipated. His words were just as shocking as well. Why did he always seem to think everything was his fault? I don't know if I think it's best, she admitted. Right now, though, it feels right to me. And you didn't put me through anything; you're the one you should've been worrying about - I seriously hope you haven't been spending your time thinking about how I feel. She chuckled softly - typical Chris, worrying about others when he was trying to make what could be one of the most important decisions in his life.

Suddenly feeling as if things would be forever messed up between them if she left it at that, Lena reached over and put a hand on his arm. I don't want it to sound like I suddenly don't like you, Chris - I just don't want you to feel like this anymore. It's hurt me so much to watch you go through this. Right now, I'd just rather try to ignore anything more than a friendship between us for the rest of my life than to see you like this. Her eyes moved back to a blue - not as bright as her usual, but still blue - as she looked at him, hoping he would just look up. Just once. Even as she knew it was what she wanted, her heart was breaking to say it.

Chris nodded when Lena said she didn't know if that was best. "That's alright. There's no reason to worry about myself I've been fine." He said. But then he heard her say she hoped he didn't spend all is time think of how she felt. He chuckled lightly and shock his head. "I promise you I haven't only been thinking about your feelings." He told Lena. Though for some reason he still wasn't looking up at her.

He then felt her touch his arm. He looked up from the ground at her. "Well if it's hurting you to see me like this. It's hurting me to see you hurting for me." He said then thought about what he had just said. "Wait did that just make any sence to you?" He asked with a small smile. "Okay I guess I will also try to do that. Lena I just don't want to lose you as friend so I'm willing to anything to keep that." He told her. He then crossd his body with his other hand-the arm Lena didn't have her hand on-and placed it over her hand and smiled.

Helena smiled a bit at the fact that it wasn't the 'only' thing he'd been thinking of. At his mixed up sentence, though, she laughed slightly. No, I understand what you're saying, and I don't want that either, she said, her smile remaining. As he placed his hand over hers, Helena refrained from glancing at it; first hugging at Christmas, now this. It was hard to believe they were agreeing to be friends with this. You're one of the most honest, trustworthy, down-to-earth, just plain awesome guys I've ever met - I don't want to lose you either. She smiled as he looked at her.

Chris laughed when she understood what he said. "Good. I wouldn't want to have to try to explain that." He told Lena and chuckled. But he noticed his hand still over hers. He pulled it back and messed with back of his hair and smiled. But then heard Lena list off the stuff she thought of him. "And you. You are probably one of the funniest, straight forwarder, most amazing girl I have ever met. Even if your eyes change color a lot." He told her and smiled back.

As he pulled back his hand, Helena let hers fall back to her side, though her smile remained. She looked down, blushing slightly as he said what he thought about her. Then she laughed and looked back up, her eyes hitting green despite what they'd just talked about - that didn't mean he didn't care. Okay, okay, now that we both know how awesome we are, how about some dinner? she asked with a smile, seeing as they had only just regained use of the Great Hall.

Chris noticed her eyes change to green. And since he actaully knew what green meant it made him feel loads better. "Well sure why not? Since we actaully can go into the Great Hall. Thank God that floods are over. That was more then enough water I needed for one term." He told Lena and chuckled.
