Chris Potter walked down to the grounds for their second Ancient Runes class. He smiled at Professor Lupa and greeted her, "Great day, isn't it Professor?" and he took a seat on a nearby pillow.

Good Merlin, what has the world come to?

"Hello, Professor Lupa," Greeted Willow, taking seat in one of the pillows, and settling her messenger bag on her lap, "I trust you are doing alright?" Clearly not. She was having a lesson at the grounds, close to all the animals and dangerous creatures and insects.

Ew.

"Hello, Professor," Copernicus greeted the professor before seating himself on the ground. He wasn't really keen on sitting on the ground, but at least there was a pillow. Some small buffer between himself and the dirt.

For the first time ever, Anna headed out onto the grounds of Hogwarts for Ancient Runes class. This should be fun! Not only would the students get to learn about runes, but they'd also get to sit outside and get some fresh air while doing do. Reaching the mock-classroom setting out near the paddocks, Anna smiled at her professor and stopped briefly just in front of her. "Good day, Professor Lupa. I hope you're doing well," she said. She then headed over to a nice, plush-looking pillow near the middle of the area. She cracked her textbook open and reread a little information about Fehu while she waited for the lesson to begin.

The last lesson didn't go well for Sydney but hoping to perform better this time, Sydney entered the class room & breathe deeply. "Hmm, here I am..again" She muttered, glancing around. "Good day, Professor Lupa." She said with a smile, dropped her bag on the ground & sat down. Sydney shuffled through her bag & took out her textbook, quill & parchments.

See Celandine Toussaint had no problem with dirt but she didn't particularly want to get covered in it today. Dirt had its time and its place. So before she sat down she cast a few charms on herself so she wouldn't pick up dust and dirt or whatever.

Time to distract herself from angst and drama with the fun of learning. YAY.

Herminny headed for Ancient Runes class out side and could instantly tell that nature was so not the professors forte. She wondered why was outside in the first place, the flodding had not reached the 5th floor had it, no it could'nt have, at least she hoped not. As she walked a lttle further into the classroom she noticed there were pillows for her and her classmates to sit on and chose a pillow and took her seat and waited for outdoor Ancient Runes class 2 to start.

Cedric rushed into their Ancient runes class.Then he noticed that there's
already other students.He also noticed that Professor Lupa was there also.He thought that they will goin to start class just a few minutes.

"Hello Professor Lupa."He says with a big smile.

Kiri was clothed in more layers than the average Siberian, but she was still cold. Care of Magical Creatures outside was bad enough already, but now it was Ancient Runes, too? She was carrying around a jar of Bluebell Flames, but she'd either not done the charm correctly, or it was really that cold, because it didn't help much.
Shivering slightly, she sat down on one of the pillows, slinging her arms around herself for warmth.

Lucas walked into the grounds to attend the ancient runes class in the grounds and ON the grounds too. Well this surely is odd. He thought to himself as he made his way to the class. He could see the pillows placed there from quite a distance. He greeted Professor Lupa when he reaced there.

"Hello Professor." He said and went to sit down on one of the pillows.

Whoa. Now this was weird. Ancient Runes out on the grounds? What was with that? The Ancient Runes classroom hadn't flooded had it? Hmm. "Hey, Professor Lupa," Clifford greeted shyly. Yes, she still made him nervous. Who could blame him? "Are we going to be looking for runes today?" Was that why they were outside?

OK, so having Ancient Runes where Care of Magical Creatures was supposed to be was proving to be a slightly weird experience. As Rachel stepped into the... er, classroom? - more like a gathering between students and a teacher with logs - exactly like CoMC, she couldn't help but blink a few times in attempt to get used to the bizarre sight before her.

"Hello, Professor," the fifth year greeted the professor with a smile as she continued to eye the class. It was just WRONG - like, her eyes wouldn't get used to it... Sort of like a misspelled word - wrong. Taking a seat, if you could call it that, Rachel automatically reached into her bag and pulled out -surprisingly- her copy of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Right... Sighing, she put it back in and took out her Ancient Runes book, closing up her bag and twiddling her thumbs absentmindedly as her attention was drawn to a rather odd-looking bird in the trees.

This was not how things were supposed to be. Got that? It just didn't happen like this. Ancient Runes were NOT meant to be out here, and that was that.

But Jake ended up being forced persuaded to go... and he cast a wary eye at Professor Lupa before sitting down and hugging his knees.

Linda hurried to the classroom.Wait a minute..it was not a classroom.It was outside.She was astonished.'Hello professor' she greeted the professor

Normally Satine would be excited about having a class outside, but it was December and she had layered on a million and one layers to help her get through this. She knew there were plenty of spells that would help but she still never felt warm enough in the cold without layer upon layer...she didn't looking like snowman or anything but she did have about four layers of clothes on. She waited patiently for the class to began sitting on her purple pillow.

Thomas walked towards the area that the class will be in. It was located outside of the school and it was freezing outside. "Good Mornin professor," said Thomas to the teacher. He picked a random pillow and sat on it.

As the children sat on the pillows, their bums were immediately warmed, as were the rest of their bodies.

"It is! I love a good chilly December day, don't you Master Potter?" She said giving him a wink. Her body ran warmer than most witches or wizards... she didn't need much more than a sweater.

"Miss Kovak," she said nodding to the girl, "don't look so grossed out. If I can have this class here, so can you." She said.

"Master Kettleburn... I have news from Egypt when you have a chance to come to my Off-" She didn't have an office... "To Miss Morgan's Hut... I'm working from there now..."

"Miss Greingoth, nice to see you so interested in runes..." she said.

"So you are, Miss Carrinton... It's nice to see Fehu has not scared you away." She told the girl motioning to a pillow.

"Hello little Miss Toussaint..." but something was odd about the girl... not as cheery as usual. Alessia reached in her pocket and handed Cela what was there... her last peppermint frog. Sometimes students needed them more than she... and she wasn't talking about her breath!

"Morning Miss Telerino." She said nodding to the girl.

"Master Leone, always a pleasure to see you." she told him.

"You won't need that jar once you take a seat, Miss Starstalker..." She said winking at the girl... "and they don't look very warm..."

"Hello Master Bordin, I hope you didn't get lost finding this area..." she said and looked to the next person.

"Don't give away my last class, Prefect Carden..." she said and motioned to a pillow. "I'm having a surprize..." she said.

"Prefect Rider, you and Captain Kovac need to stop being so-" but the girl was looking up, above her, at the tree, and as Less looked to where she was looking... above her...

POOP!

fell on her cheek. Less was going to scream, she was going to positively have a fit! Stupid bird! Stupid Flood! Stupid Outdoors! But... she didn't. Instead she took her wand and said "Tergio!" and her voice cracked. This never happened, and she'd deduct points from any student that made fun of her... maybe...

"Master Upstead... " she said and glared right back... then smiled. Silly boy!

"Hello Miss Granger," she smiled.

"Miss Farris, pleasure to see you." She said.

"And good morning to you Master Turner..." she greeted.

"Class," She addressed. "I have received your homework, I will grade it this weekend. As you know, flooding around the school is our top priority, but this weekend I will get to your homework. If you haven't received your grade by Monday morning, then send me an owl." She began. "If you have taken a seat on the pillows, you will notice a warm feeling. Under the pillow is the rune Kenaz..." She lifted a pillow and showed them. "This, will keep you warm. But Kenaz isn't the Rune we will discuss today. What is the second letter of the Elder Futhark, and no one say 'L' please..."

Sydney raised her hand, "The second letter is Uruz, Ur or Urus, professor" She said, nervously.

Iris laughed at the professor's joke quitely, opened her book to the right page and raised her hand with out looking up from the book, "Um Professor, The second letter is U-ruz... Uruz." she said, looking up.

Satine shot her hand into the air, "Professor, it's Uruz, the rune of strength."

Herminny raised her hand and said, "I believe it's the Uruz rune of stregnth.".

Thomas raised his hand and said," I think it is Uruz Professor." He knew that it didn't really matter what he said but he wanted the teacher to know that he knows.

Chris raised his hand and said "Uruz, is the second Rune and letter in the Elder Futhark, Professor."

As Rachel gazed up at the bird, she faintly heard the Professor greet the other students, and snapped her attention back at the woman the moment she realised that she was addressing her. Stop being so what? Rachel wondered, although her quick brain soon figured it out by the expression that Willow had on her face - it was similar to hers...

Oh my dear Merlin!! The fifth year's eyes widened in surprise as something - which she distinctly saw come out of the bird's rear end - land on Professor Lupa. Trying VERY hard to conceal her giggle, Rachel busied herself with writing 'Ancient Runes' very slowly on her parchment, allowing her fit of amusement to pass.

Ahh - it was gone. And so was the bird poop apparently... "Professor, the second rune is Urus," she said, trying not to look at the teacher too closely for fear of another fit of giggles.
