"I'll get a copy from you, mate. I've got eye issues today. They want to wander and then it stings." Boy, did it sting. But anyway, Plymouth was trying to concentrate.

"Haircuts. Cheap Haircuts. You can apparate and have someone hold your hair ... splinch it RIGHT off. Haircuts. Add that to the list, my men. And lady."

"Dude what if you are like falling and you apparate before you it the ground and go splat!" Chris said and wrote it down his parchment.

Apparently Plymouth had woken up and joined them. Clifford glanced at the Ravenclaw when he felt a hand on his shoulder. Wow, what had happened?

He LOOKED like Plymouth.. but he certainly wasn't ACTING like Plymouth. Freaky or what?

"Exploring!" Clifford said suddenly, glad he wasn't on note duty and he could just... throw out random ideas. He was good at that. "You can explore when you apparate. Get to places you couldn't normally go.. like.. inside volcanoes.. and - and on icebergs and stuff."

Emiliano chuckled. "I'd like to hear both versions, " he told her as he wrote down what Chris Potter said. He noticed the boy was making a new note on his parchment as well. "People end up calling me Emilio, Emuhli-something, so I try at first to tell them my whole name, saying the syllables. Though, it never works." He shrugged and continued writting.

He sat there quietly trying to think of one more, but...all ideas had been taken. He laughed slightly at Cela's suggestion. "I can't wait to do that against my sister..." He whispered.

"One question, Mrs. Greingoth." Em raised his hand, "I wonder how many people could be included into the along-side apparition?" That was his concern, sorta.

Lawliet actually gave a small snort when hearing Plymouth's suggestion. It was out there, but hey... it definitely worked, right? "Alright, you can just get them from me at the end of class if you want. And your suggestion is actually...... a really good idea and something I wouldn't have ever thought of," he said, beaming.

"Clifford, the exlporing idea is really good as well. It's a lot easier than having to walk around and getting lost," Lawliet said, while jotting more notes down.

"What about using it to get rid of someone? If you have a stalker or if someone is following you and you need to get away from them, you can just disapprate and they'll have no idea where you went," the boy said, shrugging. He was starting to run out of ideas at this point.

"I suppose there is no way you can go wrong with apparition if you know how to do it properly, except id there are anti-apparition spells casted on the place that you are trying to go to, hence why it's so convinient and so much easier than using anything else," Lawliet muttered quietly, more to himself rather than anyone else. He was starting to like the idea of apparition more so than he had at the beginning of the lesson...

Hmmm. No sign of Vanessa and Willow yet! Gasp! Evangeline was so sure they were just hidden somewhere and that they'd show up once the work was almost done. Boy, they were smart.

"OOOH! That's a very good reason." Evangeline agreed with a gentle nod of her head, causing her fringe to fall infront of her eyes. Grr. Stoopid thing. Brushing it away from her blue eyes, Evangeline scratched her chin with the feather-y part of her quill. "Oh, and it's more of a challenge, you know? Sure, flying is hard, but learning how to apparate it much harder. There's more risk." Now, now .. surely there were more reasons to learn how to apparate. "It's also great if you're late for something. Wait .. that relates to being quicker, doesnt it?" She asked, rather rhetorically, and frowned before leaning in to look at Copernicus' list.

Surely, there were more reasons!

"Oh! You can easily escape from dangerous, hard or awkward situations if you can apparate!" Merlin knew she could've used that.

Their list was getting MEGA long now.. and Clifford had a feeling their group had some of the better ideas. He especially liked Plymouth's hair cut suggestion - not that he'd ever try that.

"To get away from stalkers? Yeah, that's a good one aswell.." The Head Boy nodded at Lawliet. "Much more effective than running away." Hmmm. What else was there? He was pretty sure they'd gone over most things. "You could rob a muggle bank.." Bwahaha.

Was it just Plymouth or was his group not just ace?? Bank robbing, stalker avoiding, hair cutting apparators!

"You know those muggles that.... stalk famous muggles? With their cameras? Man, if you could pretend to be a muggle you could *CRACK* - *SNAP* - and get all sorts of those... papaparazzi pictures.. then *CRACK* be gone before they knew what hit them."

Plymouth shook his head a few times to get a particular image out of his own head and offered a follow up, "Or, actually, I don't really see why WE - MEN - couldn't use it to sneak up on our... on pretty girls... and take THEIR picture. You should add that, Lawman."

"I'm not sure if the Department Head of Magical Transportation would particularly appreciate that idea," he said, chuckling at Clifford's idea. It was a good one, but wouldn't make them look too good...

"I'm starting to run out of ideas at this point," he said with a small frown on his face. The boy glanced at his parchment one more time, wondering if anyone else in the group had any other ideas. Sure enough, Plymouth had come up with another crazy one. Not only that, but there was also the nickname which he hadn't heard before.

"You're right Plymouth, I'm sure certain men would definitely take advantage of that idea," he said, bemused. "Lawman? That's one I haven't heard before," he added with a snort.

There was a first time for everything...


A part of him couldn't believe that he was actually writing half of this stuff down but he did anyway, and very amused while doing so.

"That last one is good, but only if you're smart enough to realize you need to escape before you've done irreparable harm to someone," Copernicus shook his head as he wrote down Prefect Green's ideas. "I'm not always so clever, I think. Do we have any other ideas?"

It was great with the class participation that everyone was contributing too. Madison walked around, listening to every group she passed. It was wonderful to hear the thoughts and imaginations that everyone came up with, that to her was the special thing about children.


There was a Ravenclaw she passed and she had to stop to hear his answer. "That's a very good answer," she said not knowing the students name. "Pictures are wonderful and I wish I would have thought of that back during my school days." She loved taking pictures, always had and anyone who knew her, knew that she loved pictures.

"Just from walking around the room and peering over your shoulders, I believe we have enough information on our lists to move on to the next part of the lesson. Go ahead and wrap up your thoughts, then talk amongst your groups to choose one of you to present your list to the class as a whole," Bella said. She was extremely proud of all the hard work that had gone into creating the lists. She could tell the students really had their minds made up to do well in Apparition. "If you're chosen to present the information to the class, just come up front with your group's parchment in hand. When you get up here, please let me know which group's list you're presenting."

"As for the rest of you, go ahead and gather your loose quills and parchment and return to your seat on one of the four logs," she said. "We'll get started with the group presentations in just a moment."

"You know, Mr. Saenz, I don't believe there's been a limit placed on the number that can apparate together at one time. History tells us that Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger often times apparated together in their pursuit of horcruxes back in the 1900's. Side-Along apparition is done through holding on to another, so I'd say that as long as that's done, the number of people is infinitely many," she said. "However, due to dangers of splinching or...maybe...group members getting lost or falling away from the group, I wouldn't attempt too big of a number."

At Copernicus' remark, Evangeline felt one of her eyebrows cocking upwards curiously. Was it just her, or could she feel some .. personal experience there? Hmmm. "Well, it you aren't smart enough to realise that, you can always escape and run away from the consequences." The Slytherin offered with a light shrug of her shoulders, looking at the new addition to their group. YAY! "Hey there. I'm Evangeline."

Before she had the time to say anything else, the Ice Cream Lady told them to wrap it up and pick someone to go present the list. Whaaaa? That definitely wasn't going to be her .. Merlin knew Evangeline and speaking in public didn't fit. "Any offers on that?" She asked the boys. Hehe.

Their group had the bestest ideas, he was sure of it - he didn't wanna be the one to go up there and share 'em though. Nuh uh. No thank youuu. Shuffling back, Clifford glanced from Plymm, to Rachel and finally to Lawliet. They neded a smart person to represent their group. He wasn't smart enough. He voted .. Lawliet. Yes.

Lawliet payed close attention to Mrs. Greingoth as she talked about the group presentations. He glanced around the group, waiting for someone to volunteer or someone they could vote on.

"I don't mind doing it if no one else wants to," he finally said with a small shrug. Though public speaking wasn't his thing, you gotta do what you gotta do, right? Besides, it couldn't be all that hard considering everything was already written down on the piece of parchment he was holding in his hand.

Rachel, who had been rendered speechless by the ideas that were being thrown around by the men in her group, had forsaken her list and instead decided to just sit, listen, and be amused. She giggled at Plymouth's hair suggestion, although she had a hard time believing that someone would actually WANT to have his haircut done like that. Absentmindedly, she raised a hand towards her hair and ran a hand through it a couple of times, reassuring herself that it was still there and would not be 'spliched' away from the rest of her head anytime soon.

Giggling at the other ideas that Clifford and Lawliet were offering, she couldn't help but raise her eyebrows at Plymouth's next suggestion. "Oh really, Mr. Morgan? I'd just like to see you guys ATTEMPT to do that on your girls - I wish you the best of luck," she said wryly, imagining *ahem* Ried trying that trick on her... Well, let's just say the male population of Hogwarts were REALLY lucky that apparition was not available.

Looking up as Mrs. Greingoth spoke, Rachel's head immedaitely swiveled to Lawliet as she heard that someone was going to have to represent their team. "I think that Lawliet should do it - he's got a really good list ready made and he came up with some wonderful ideas too... Not that you guys didn't... That's what I think," the fifth year said, glad to see that at least the Slytherin boy agreed to do it. She'd copy the list from him later then...

"You're welcome to share our list if you'd like," Copernicus offered magnanimously. He really had no preference either way, and if Prefect Green was willing... and interested, then she might as well.

"Yeah, I'm cool with Lawliet doing it," Clifford agreed with a grin and a nod. He was just glad someone had volunteered cos he really didn't fancy going on up there. Public speaking wasn't one of his greatest strenghts unfortunately.. and he wasn't very brave either.. so yeah. Go Lawliet! "You'll do awesome, mate," the seventh year encouraged his housemate with a clap on the back.

"I don't HAVE a girl," Plymouth informed Rachel - and then he shut down again. He folded his legs up on his log, planted his elbows on his knees, and shut his eyes as tight as they would go. "Lawman is the man, so I'm good with that." Plymouth wouldn't have got up in front of certain people anyway. He was.. fine... right where he was.

Constantine smiled as he tossed some acorns for Roma to play fetch with while he watched his wife do her thing. She had changed much from when he visited her at the Ministry. She had a little bump and it looked cute.

Ah. Copernicus was a gentlemen it seemed. Offering her to do it, if she'd like it. Only, she wouldnt like it because .. well, she'd ruin the group's work, she was sure of that. Time for some change of strategy. With one deep sigh, Evangeline rested her elbow on the table, her chin moving to rest on her hand. "Oh Cope, I'd much rather don't do it, if that's okay." She said with an ickle pout on her lips. "Talking in public really isnt my forte and I dont wanna ruin our work." Another deep sigh. A flutter of her long, dark eyelashes as her piercing blue eyes moved to gaze at Copernicus. "Would you mind terribly doing it?"

Cough.

Celandine sunk into herself a bit, having overheard Plymouth.

She addressed her group, "I... don't want to present the list."

Which was odd, because Cela normally didn't mind standing up and yacking in front of groups at all.

She had grown really distracted. That much was obvious.

Why, though, Willow had noooo idea, but she'd better stand up now and join her group and start giving the ideas for whatever it was that they should be discussing. Which, reminded her that she needed to go check out what people were part of the groups.

Evangeline Green, Vanessa Corbette, Copernicus Kettleburn, and some other person she was not familiar with.

Huh.

"Ummm," started Willow slightly awkwardly, after having eyed all the suggestion Copernicus, Evangeline and the other boy had provided - Merlin, she was behind, "Maybe if, say we go somewhere like . . . a job interview? and we forget something important . . . apparition would come in handy, you know? Becauseee, we would be able to return to our house real quickly, pick up what we forgot and get back to the place where we were before?" This was true. "Oh, and I'm Willow," she said with a little smile, introducing herself at last to the unkonwn Gryffindor boy.

Wait - she was smiling.

Since when was she so friendly?

Ugh, someone was going to pay for this.

"And I can talk, if you guys don't mind." Willow did not mind being on the spotlight, really - it didn't really bother her. "I mean, I haven't really contributed much, so it would be only fair." Right?

Havin' glanced at the board to (re)check her group, Shumeeta was now listenin' to her group mates discuss. They were talkin' about reasons to apparate and she was sure she could come up with one or two of those. She was also surprised at why she was feelin' a little shy: Usually the half-tomboy with the spiky hair was very bold and expressive.

"Wouldn't a reason to apparate be battle?" she mused. "It could be pretty much a trick. Once a curse comes you way ---- apparate out of the situation. Would save people and annoy the enemies."

When it was mentioned that they would have to go and present the list Shumeeta wondered out loud, "I could do it. Em not bad at speakin' in public." Pretty good at it actually. "Though I don't mind anyone else doin' it either."

Madison looked to the boy that had a sudden outburst to not wanting to stand up in front of the class. Poor thing, he was just...not a people person at all, but yet he loved to take pictures of pretty girls? Bless him.

"Y-You don't have to stand up if you don't want too," she said as she patted the boy's shoulder and quickly walked to the next group. Some children just...didn't like being in the lime light.


As she walked towards the next group, her eyes looked up to find Roma and Neo playing. Man he had a hard job, and at that thought, she wrinkled her nose in a small chuckle and listened in on the next group of children.
