Clifford was scared. But really, who could blame him after Professor Lupa's behaviour last term!? The woman had been all over him! Shudder. He just.. hoped - PRAYED - she was all better now.
A light flush crept up his neck and the Head Boy ducked his head as he quickly walked past the Professor and into the Ancient Runes classroom. Now he felt trapped. Oh gawd.. this was going to be a LOOONG lesson.

Yuck. Peppermint - ew. Rachel nudged the little sweet away from her, her nose wrinkled in obvious dislike as she reached into her bag to take out her things. After walking into the classroom a few minutes ago and settling down in her own table, she had zoned out for a bit -it seemed to be turning into a regular occurrence, this zoning out thing- and now swiftly reached for her bag to take out her things before Professor Lupa began her lesson. Too late for that now. Hmm, first letter? Raising her hand, she bit her lip hesitantly before shrugging a little and saying what she thought. "Is it F, miss? Or Fehu, as the letter is properly called in the Elder Futhark terminology," the fifth year said, lowering her hand into her bag as she finished taking everything out. Quote:

Jack blinked in confusion as a few people said E, but the majority said F. Well, it WAS F, wasn't it? He had looked over his notes last night and was quite certain that was the right answer. Ah well, if it wasn't, what was the worst that would happen? He wondered to himself. He stuck his hand in the air before he answered. "Professor, the first letter in the Elder Futhark is Fehu, or simply F," he answered.

Unfortunately he had been too preoccupied with the treat in front of him to even think of answering the question and by the time he remembered it was too late. Shrugging he put his hand up anyway, if not to answer the question but to remind himself of the answer. "Professor, the first letter in the Eldar Futhark is F, or Fehu." he replied.

Sarah had to refocus her attention on the class when Professor Lupa asked a question.She had been staring at the yummy food since she'd sat down and opened the box.Why did it have to be for later? She was hungry...again.
Deciding that the best idea would be to actually answer said question,Sarah flicked through her textbook and put her hand in the air. "It's F Professor.Or to give it it's proper ancient runes name...Fehu." Satisfied that she'd done something of note,even though most of the class already had,Sarah started staring at the red box again.Shaking her head,she grabbed it and stuffed it inside bag....for later.
