Agie ran into the waiting room, sliding as she turned the corner sharply, searching for someone that she was hoping was not there. She found, "Lyra!" Agie gasped, racing over and kneeling at her feet. "So it was true!" Agie said, feeling some tear in her eyes. Lyra was all swollen and broken... Well she didn't know if it was broken, but it sure looked big. Not that she'd be telling Lyra that. "What happened?" She asked, biting on her bottom lip. "Who ever did this. better be leaving the country!"

Jake stared into the room with one eye. The other one currently had a hand over it, to prevent someone else thwacking him in the same spot.

"Ouch!" Jake hissed as he blinked. He'd never had a black eye before, but he'd checked it, and it was a real shiner. Stepping shakily into the Waiting Room, Jake spotted Lima and Shana and also those two from the corridor. Jake started to Panic when he saw them. Had word gotten out that it was his fault they'd lost 15 points? Was that tall girl going to give him another black eye for ducking?

Jake reached the seat closest and sat down. He was panicking, shaking, he had a headache and was feeling dizzy, and he had a black eye. How could he be sweet with a black eye?

I look like a thug. Jake closed his eyes and leaned back with his head resting solidly on a wall. "Owwwwch..." he murmured. All this from one punch? Maybe it was just the panicking. Breathing heavily, Jake pulled his feet up and rocked backwards and forwards, eyes still closed.

Cam had been hoping that the hospital wing would be empty by this point. She'd run out of murtlap essence, and her hands were getting sore. Even if she didn't want to bother all the sick people with the lingering scent of worm puss...she really wanted the stuff for her hands. They were getting dry, and Cam was anxious for the side effects of her detention to finally go away.

Keeping her pink and yellow hands stuffed into the pockets of her robes she wandered into the hospital wing. Cam had been out on the grounds before this, practicing for tryouts. Stuffed into the pocket of her robes was her tennis ball, and beaters bat. As soon as she passed through the door Cam began to chew on her bottom lip. The hospital wing was packed. Ugh. She should leave and come back later...but she didn't want to. She wanted the murtlap essence now, even if that did mean smelling out everyone else in the room.

Lyra looked up when she heard her name. Her eyes were swollen which she didn't know if it was from the tears or the actual hit, which more than likely it was the actual hit. Her head was beginning to hurt and sniffing was OUT OF THE QUESTION. "How did you hear so quickly," she giggled lightly and sighed. "It was that stupid Hufflepuff snot-nosed kid." She turned to Jake who had just made his way into the waiting room as well. "He started yelling at Jake for no reason."

She shook her head, closing her eyes slightly. "Thank goodness Robert was there. I was on my way to see him," she said as she reached over to touch his arm and smiled. "Right now he's my hero."

"I have my sources!" She smirked. But then she mentioned the Hufflepuff loser. She looked to give him a dirty look. Oh he was going to pay. "We'll get him back." Agie whispered, with a wink. "How are you feeling?" She was a lot more relieved, once talking to Lyra. She was fine.

That is when her eyes glanced on the, Robert. Her eyebrows raised, and went back to Lyra's. Oh they had some catching up to do. "Well, isn't that something." She said with a shifty smile. "Thank goodness for Robert!"

Robert nodded as Lyra spoke to him and he wrapped his arm around her shoulder trying to comfort her. His head snapped up as he saw someone walk into the waiting room and straight to Lyra. Recognizing the girl from the Magical Creatures class he moved his arm away from Lyra and placed it in his lap, fiddling with his fingers as the two spoke. It wasn't until he heard his name and felt Lyra's hand on his arm that he looked at the two girls and turned slightly red at all the attention. Running a hand through his hair he nodded at the girl, "Hello. Umm..probably already figured out I'm Robert." Looking around and seeing that most of the chairs were full he stood up and offered the girl his chair, "Would you like to sit down?"

Agie was impressed. He was cute and sweet. Her best friend finally has some good taste. "Hi, I'm Agie! It's nice to meet you Robert. Thank you for taking care of my best friend." She smiled and then he offered her his seat. "It's ok. I could just leave." And give them some privacy. "Orrrr, maybe Lyra can sit on your lap. That way we all have a seat." She said innocently.

Hugo stumbled into the Hospital Wing Waiting Room, clutching his nose. Blood was splattered down his front, and was seeping between his fingers. His emerald eyes were wide and swimming with tears, which were also trickling down his cheeks. He looked a state. He had black face paint all over his face, and was still wearing his panda costume that he'd worn for Maxxie and his Panda Dress Up. This outfit consisted of a painted face, foam ears, a whole home made panda body suit and four buckets on his hands and feet. He'd kicked the buckets off when he'd tripped over. THEY were the reason for his broken nose. Boohoo.

He plonked himself down on a seat and sat patiently for the nurse. Well, Hugo wasn't a very patient person, so before long, he was becoming very...impatient. He sniffled to himself, the pain in his nose becoming sharper and sharper. And it kept bleeding too. Ew. PLUS, his head was throbbing from where he'd fainted. See, Hugo Jermaine Woods was quite squeemish, so when his nose had broken and he tasted blood, he'd toppled over and smacked his head on the ground. There was a lump on his forehead. How attractive.

Lyra leaned her head back for a moment and closed her eyes. Her face was extremely painful at the moment and she was ready to JACK smack the kid who did this to her. She listened as Robert and Agie spoke for a bit but then Agie's words registered in her head. Sit in his lap?

She slowly lifted her head and opened one eye as the other was swollen shut now. There was no telling if her face was turning colors, she couldn't see it anyway. "I'm just fine where I am," she sighed then added. "But you could sit on my lap if you wanted." That was her little joke at the moment as she was still able too but just couldn't smile. Her eyes began to water once again as the pain was increasing. She reached up with her hand to touch her nose, pushing it around a bit and then...

SNAP!

Blood began to pour from her nose as she squealed in pain. She needed a cloth, something. She held her head back and since she didn't have anything but her robes, she used the ends of her sleeves for anything at the moment.

Jake, still rocking, heard sudden laughs from a little further down. He opened his good eye and saw Shana and Lima, his fellow Huff...le...puff...

OH NO!

Word had gotten out. He'd started a fight and now everyone knew he'd caused Jack to lose points. Jake looked up at the girl with nose issues thanks to him ducking and he suddenly wanted out. There was that other girl, too... he'd met them in Diagon Alley... the scary ones... They. Would. Hurt. Him.

His shaking increased, and Jake didn't know what to do for the best. Running seemed a good idea. Or maybe Lima didn't quite hate him yet.

Shana was looking around the room and she saw Jake well she thought his name was Jake she was asleep most of the train journey and didn't know much about him.She didn't shout Him just incase his name wasn't Jake she just Smiled and Continued to talk to Lima.

Jake could feel a set of eyes on him. What was with people and eyes today? He glanced round again, and saw it was Shana who he'd noticed. He could remember her from when Jake sat with Cameron at the Slytherin Table. Right now, however, Jake was scared to say much, he nodded to her, and tried to keep his black eye hidden.

Shana thought the boy looked a little lonely..So she decided to call him a Jake Anyway and because he was only a few seats down she decided to call him in the quietest voice possible.Jake...Ermm Hey Shana Smiled and sort of Patted the seat next to her Idecating Jake to come and sit next to Her and Lima.

She listened to Shana, a bit confused. Then it sorta started to make sense. "You can still like talk to your mum? Like in your mind?" She bit her lip. That was definitely something interesting.

Lima looked up to see Jake there. "Jakey Wakey! What are you doing here?" He looked a bit anxious about something. Then she noticed his black eye. She narrowed her eyes at him. "You've been a good Hufflepuff so far, right?" She would not be happy with her Housemates fighting.

Shana was worried Ermm Im not acctually sure,But that would be magerly scary.Shana's Hand started to shake like mad.She gulped and hoped they would be able to leave soon.

JAKE that was his name thanks goodness Shana hadn't made a fool of herself by calling him jake.

Jake was still rocking a little when he heard his name being... err... squeaked out? He was about to look up when he heard Lima. Ruh-roh.

"Erm... someone hit me..." he mumbled, flinching at her next tone. He started to nod, but that hurt his head so he soon stopped. Bah, was he dehydrated? Just don't cry again.

Shana Smiled at Jake Hey Jake.Why dont you come sit over here ?Shana smirked and laughed at Jake a bit She wasn't being mean she was a slytherin after all.

Lima petted Shana comfortingly and said, "don't worry about it. I'm sure that it's nothing more than a connection that you two shared that still exists." She then turned her attention back to Jake. "Who hit you?" she was trying not to get annoyed. Someone hitting a First Year was bad in her eyes. "And yes, come and join us."

Jake inched along the seats a little, still shaking. "It... erm... another first year Hufflepuff... Jack mosier," Jake stopped moving along. "They all hate me."

Man... this was hard. Jake's headache intensified and he stopped as he reached Lima. "Don't hate me."

Everyone did, he was used to spending time anywhere but in the Common Room, just to stay away. Blah, where was Dominic when you needed him?

Lima was stunned. "Why would anyone hate you, Jake?" she didn't understand that at all. He wasn't an angel or anything, but he wasn't a real jerk either. "And why would I hate you? I'd never hate you." She sighed. She hated seeing him looking upset.

Shana knew this wasn't the convenant time to remeber who Jake was but it might of helped him know Shana didn't hate him.Oooh I remember you,Your that Dude From the train.Shana smiled.By the way I dont hate you If that Helps

Jake smiled at Shana. "Thanks," he gulped a little. "But it's the Hufflepuffs... I'm scared, I share a freakin' dormitory with the guy."

He looked up at Lima, hardly believing her words. "Because I say what I think, and I don't lie to pretend I like somebody. And they were all making Jack feel better the other night, saying about making a club for people I have a problem with," Jake blabbered. "But I don't have a problem, and now people will hate me because Jack went psycho at me and lost 15 points."

Ok... it seemed alot worse in Jake's mind, and he couldn't seem to rationalise his ideas. He was scared, he was in shock, and he felt dizzy. Jake closed his eyes again and leaned on the wall, feeling a tad nauseaus from fretting so much.

Shana felt sorry for Jake she was great at making friends well sometimes she didn't hate Jake but she couldn't convince the other boys.1 because she wasn't a hufflepuff and 2 because she wasn't a boy therefor she wasn't aloud in there dorm.

Shana was feeling really dizzy Woah! She had lost loads of blood.Suddenly she sort of fainted for a few minutes,And kept her eyes closed.

ooc: Because of all the chatting I'm going to make this a general post instead of individually quoting 892423 posts. It clatters up the thread and makes it hard to see who does and doesn't need to be helped by Meredith. If there's anything reeeeealllly serious i.e broken bones and major blood trauma or something then stick around and we'll play that out

The place had gotten really crowded and Meredith worked as fast as she could with the patients while also tending to their needs as best as she could. She knew many were eager to get out of there and back to their friends.

Once the easier ones were taken care of Meredith could focus more on those that needed more specific attention.

Poor nurse lady. There were quite a few people in the waiting room which was NOT the spot Lyra wanted to be. She wanted to be out running around the school but instead she was here, stuck because of that crazy hitting HUFFLEPUFF kid. He was so going to get it.

She lowered her head so that she could at least see what was going on but that was the wrong thing to do. Blood started going everywhere from her nose. "Ewwwwwwwwww," she said as she placed her head back once again. Oh she had one thing on her mind and that was getting Jack back for breaking her nose.
