| | Waiting Room Here is where you will come to be healed. The waiting room does tend to get really crowded so please keep chatting to a minimum so as to not clog up the thread with useless posts for me to have to sift through to get to the necessary ones.
The Nurse will get to you as soon as she can. So please try to be patient when she is busy with other students. |

He watched as Elizabeth opened the door for him still carrying his bat which..thinking about it now...might not have been such a good move on his part since getting it back might prove harder than he thought. Walking through the doors slowly, feeling like his legs would give out any minute, he headed straight for a chair and slid the unconscious Nigel off his shoulder and onto the chair, falling into the one beside it with a tired sigh.
As he waited to be seen by the nurse he rubbed his shoulder, thankful that the weight was off and felt something wet. Pulling his hand back he noticed that Nigel's blood had gotten onto his uniform and he frowned. After opening the door for Robert and Nigel, Elizabeth stepped to the side to let them past, idly tapping her shoulder with Robert's bat. Eyeing her friend, she could tell that, while he was still concerned over their teammate, as was she, he also was starting to reconsider letting her carry the bat. Which was vaguely hilarious, since she had no need for his bat when she still had her own in her trunk. Just because she didn't need to use it for Quidditch this term didn't mean she sent it back home.
Walking over to the empty chair on Robert's other side, she sat down before glancing at him. "At least we got him up here," she said quietly, not really wanting to interrupt the nurse. "And you know if you weren't so much taller than me, I would have tried to help you get him here," she added. She was tiny, but strong. She probably could have helped carry Nigel, even if the younger boy was also taller and weighed more than her. Stupid boys, why'd they all have to be so much bigger than her?
As she saw Robert notice the blood on his uniform, she grinned, gesturing at her own, which still had Nigel's blood on it from her failed attempt at keeping him upright on the pitch. "I know where you're coming from," she said ironically. "I'm just hoping a good cleaning spell or two, or twelve, will get it out before the championship game." And now to wait for the nurse to notice them. She saw the Huffie girl from the game there, and sent her a smile, not wanting to bother her while she was being treated.

She paused for a second in her explanation, sighing a little at how ridiculous it all sounded as she said it. "And then he passed out, poking his eye with his broom handle," she finally finished, before looking down as she realized both her and Robert's robes had been cleaned. "Okay, wow. That's a really good cleaning spell," she couldn't help but adding in surprise.

Emalyn unrolled her sleeve and tucked her arm in her robes after Meredith was done looking at it. She thanked her again, letting her get on with her other patients, and got up. She nodded goodbye to Cedric and John and walked out, the tube of cream safely inside her robes' pocket.

Probably a good thing since he was trying to work out when his legs would stop hurting. He looked down as he felt his shirt dry and laughed at Elizabeth's reaction. He looked at the nurse and sighed as he leaned back tiredly against the wall, "The kids accident prone all right." All of a sudden he felt really tired, even the excitement of winning had worn off. He yawned and leaned against Elizabeth, well on top of really as he held himself up, "I want to make sure he's alright before I head off."

Elizabeth glanced over as she heard Robert laugh at her response to the nurse's cleaning spell. "You were the one getting all weird about having blood on your uniform," she said, being a little petty. But the adrenaline that had built up during the match was wearing off now, and she was tired. She giggled quietly as Robert then felt the need to restate the opinion that Nigel was accident-prone, but it quickly devolved into a weird squeak as he then slid sideways and ended up leaning on her. Poking him with his bat, she wiggled as she tried to glare at him. "If I couldn't manage to hold Nigel up at the pitch, there is definitely no way I'm managing to hold you up now. Especially if you fall asleep on me," she hissed, having managed to shift position enough that she could speak directly in his ear. Although, at least if she got squished, she was already in the hospital wing.

Okay...maybe it was a little weird. Usually it was his own blood not someone else's. He yawned again and grabbed his bat as she poked him with it, "I knew it was a bad idea giving you this." Hearing her words he sighed and sat up, kissing her cheek playfully as he wrapped his arm around her and began tickling her, "Now who plays fair?" He said with a smirk as he kept on, not even paying attention to what the nurse was doing just knowing that if the playful banter stopped he was liable to pass out from exhaustion.

"It's not like I whacked you with it," she pointed out. "I could have, if I'd wanted to." Of course, she was fairly certain the threatening had now just become a game between them, and he knew that. As he started tickling her, she slid down in her chair, working herself free of his arm. "I never said you played fair," she said with another grin as she grabbed his hand, trapping his fingers inside her hands. If he was going to be silly, she wasn't going to just take it quietly, no matter where they were.

Robert rolled his eyes as Elizabeth continued, "Whatever. Not as bad as Willow was though." Robert leaned up and looked at Elizabeth, "No...but you could have." As she squirmed away from his arm he broke into laughter. Feeling his fingers trapped he smirked, "You think that's going to stop me?" Setting down his bat by his feet he brought his other arm to her side and began tickling her until he could free his other fingers, "Tsk tsk...you should know better Liz."

| Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict Elizabeth got a semi-thoughtful look on her face as Robert mentioned Willow. "Nooooo," she said. "Willow was weirder. I mean, shouldn't the team captain care when a member of her team is down? We know both of us didn't care if we got blood on us, because we were concerned about if he was okay. But I don't know if she was even concerned." At least, that comment Willow had made as they had carried him off the pitch made it seem that way. When Robert went on to say she could have whacked him, she grinned. "I didn't really have enough space, what with you squishing me," she pointed out, before giggling again as he came after her with his free hand, tickling her again. Arching her upper body away from him, like when she was dodging bludgers, she kept herself just out of his reach as she kept her hold on the hand she had trapped. "Were you not paying attention during the match?," she teased. "If I can manage to avoid bludgers, I can avoid you tickling me." Of course, she wasn't in the most comfortable position in the chair anymore, but she could deal with that.

When Mere had come back to the young ravenclaw section of quiddichers, she was a little taken back by the sight. She gave a laugh and shook her head. "Ok, if there are going to be tickle wars I have a few rules. One, none of it is directed towards me. And two, you stay in the designated area." With that rule being stated she took her wand and roped off a small but sufficient corner of the waiting room away from the patients where the tickle war could take place.
She gave Elizabeth and Robert a slight nudge in the direction and took a seat next to Nigel so she would be able to tend to him.

Miranda came huffing and puffing, clutching her camera close to her chest. It looked like she was having a heart attack, but the rashes that had infested her face and hands were the real reason she was up in the waiting room. Scratch, scratch, scratch. "Uuuh, stooop itchiiing!" Miranda grimaced, how was she supposed to get her checklist checked if she had to get to the nurse and get treated! Stupid pogrebin rashhhh!
There were a few students here, and the nurse was tending to them, so Miranda took turns in sitting down and pacing the room a little, as she waited for her turn. Scratch, scraaaaaaatch, scratchscratchscratch.

Freya wandered into the Hospital Wing, for what, the sixth time? No, that was too much, probably three or four...whatever. She took a seat in the waiting room and sank in her chair, sniffling loudly and feeling like she was going to keel over any minute. 'Stupid school...it's making me sick. *achoo!* I hate this! Gah! Where'd my old immune system go?! I can't be getting allergies now!' Freya leaned over so that she was taking up a few chairs and tried to relax.

Scratch, scraaaaaaatch, scratchscratchscratch. Merry noticed the young girl come in and immediately start scratching. It made her cringe and she walked over to the girl and gave her a small smile. "It'll only get worse if you keep scratching like that. Here, rub this one where it itches." She left and grabbed some anti-itching cream from her cabinets and handed a couple jars of it to Miranda. "Every time you feel like scratching, just rub some of this on them. What happened to make you break out in the rash?" Quote:

"Every time you feel like scratching, just rub some of this on them. What happened to make you break out in the rash?"[/color][/b] Miranda had just sat down again, feet dangling under the high chair, and soon started to scratch her face and hands. Aaarrrgh!
She was just scratching her chin with her hand shaped like a claw, when the nurse came in and Miranda slowly looked up.
As soon as the nurse had said that about getting worse, Miranda stopped but started to make grimaces as if the skin would scratch itself.
Miranda's big brown eyes never left the sight of the nurse untill she came back with some jars. Oooohhh yeeessss, saviouuuur!
Quickly, she opened a jar, took a handful and began to plaster it onto her face. Oh... Heavenly... She relaxed instantly as the itching stopped. But her face turned a shade of red when the nurse asked her again. "I, uh, sort of..." Hopped inside a bush to hide. "Fell into a bush... And it started to itch after a few minutes." Miranda grimaced and looked at the nurse.

She sniffed a bit, but there wasn't much to sniff, nor could she smell much at all. Merry went and grabbed some vials to help with the nausea. "Here this will settle your stomach. As for the allergies, this nose spray will keep your nose clear and allow you to breathe better. If it continues after about three days then come back because there might be something else going on." She handed her the nose spray and smiled good naturedly. "I hope I don't have to see you again." Quote:

Meredith tapped her chin and then headed towards a rack where she kept towels and rags and grabbed one.
She walked back over to Miranda and placed a cooling charm on the rag, making it strong enough to last for a week. "After you've applied the lotion and it has absorbed into the skin, place this rag on your cheeks. The coolness will give some relief to the annoyance of the rash. See how you are after 3-5 days or if you need more cream."

She quickly swallowed what was inside the vial she was handed; at this rate, Freya would be composed mostly of water, flesh and medications. "Yes, Ma'am, thank you." Freya stood up after her upset stomach had settled down and packed the spray inside a pocket of her robes, there would be plenty of time to test it out later. She nodded her head to the Healer and made her way out of the Hospital Wing, hoping never to find herself in there again during the term.

She tried craning her neck to see, impatient and very curious.
Miranda was paying full attention to the nurse, the explaining of the rag. Oooooh. "Ok, thankyou m'am!" Miranda grinned and then grimaced as the itching started on her cheek. Her hand was halfway up to take the rag but quickly went to the cream. She took some and began rubbing it on the cheek. Phew, much better.
Miranda looked up, almost forgetting that the nurse was there, blushed a bit and once again reached up to take the rag. "Uh, thankyou... I'll be on my way then..." she smiled, pocketed the many cream jars inside her robes and stood up.
