Geez,please...no crying.Reese couldn't do the tears.No,way!Reese stood up and walked over to Jack and sat down in the chair beside him. "You know...I am at you for trying to kill Jakers,right?"she said to him. "I want to like you,Jack.I really do.But,if you go around hurting people,I can't like you.Not one bit." She looked at Professor Dumot then back at Jack. "The only reason nobody wants you here is because you're making everyone miserable.Why don't you try to act better?Get back on the right path.Do homework.Earn points."

Piper looked up in a slight bit of shock to see Professor Dumont of all places in the Hospital wing.. yes she was back. " I ummm... well I tried to stop the fight.. but I couldn't.. and Someone jumped on Jack when I was holding onto him trying to pull him back from Jake.." She sighed indicating her rib. " He didn't see me, or something.. anyone, when he jumped on Jack, I was there.. and.. well he broke my rib.." She said softly..Gah!!! Why is he here? I have spent the last few months avoiding him nicely..

Jack shook his head "I can't stop myself, I don't do homework, and... points are a touchy subject at the moment" Jack swallowed and sniffed.

Jack glanced up at Piper and groaned, he hated it when Dumont and Piper were in the same room "Ahem" Jack fake coughed at Piper "It's the way it goes" he told her replying to her question.

Merry nodded with understanding. Headaches were very annoying and not fun to deal with. "Here, take this headache reliever potion when the next one comes around if the one you did have has already lessened up. How often do you get these headaches?" She asked curiously.

Merry looked toward the slew of professors that had just walked in. Something very strange was going on around here. She went over to the Kazimeriz as he bidded....mainly because he was the DADA professor and no telling what he could do to her if she ignored his demand..er um...request.

Merry took some cream from her cabinets and rubbed it on the swollen scratches. The swelling went down as the cream absorbed and healed the scratches. "There you go. Be more careful hun, cats can be very tempermental." She gave the young girl a smile.


There was a large group that had assembled along with another professor and it appeared to be about some kind of fight. She looked around at the kids and then toward the professor. Maybe he would be able to explain and bring some order to the arising chaos. "Can you tell me who all here needs to be healed and what happened?" The more everyone cooperated the faster she'd be able to do what was needed.

Jack looked around "Her and her" he pointed at Piper and Reese "Got hurt, Piper hurt her rib and Reese hit her head" Jack told her "Well..." he bit his still swollen lip and glanced at Dumont "There was a fight, with Jake Upstead, and a few people got involved, people got hurt, and yeah" Jack broke off, he moved his leg a litte and winced as pain shot up his leg "And... my leg hurts, he kicked it" Jack told her quietly.

Livvy smiled gratefully at the nurse and took the headache reliever potion. "Thank you," she said, as she studied the potion from left to right. She looked up when the nurse asked her a question. Livvy just shrugged as she thought about it. "It varies. I have at least five a week or so. Some days I get none.. yet some days I just have one all day. Either that or it goes on and off on me."

Piper blushed softly and looked at Jack as he faked a cough. I'm sorry! I can't help it, I still like him alright? She thought as she looked at him. I
ll try to refrain from thinking about him okay?" She sighed a bit and looked at Professor Dumont and then at the nurse. "Umm, my ribs hurt pretty badly.." She said softly.

His head was throbbing something bad and Vindictus used all of his willpower to use the one nonverbal spell that would release him. Finite Incantaum! THUD! It didn't go quite as planned and he dropped from the air and whacked the back of his head on the floor. "You miserable old goat - now I have to go officiate a game with a throbbing head!" he grumbled at Kazimeriz and slowly got to his feet. The room was swaying a little, like he was on a boat, and he wobbled to the doorway with both hands holding his head. "I've got work to do." And then he vanished into the corridor.

"Thanks!" Ella said with a grin. "I'll be more careful, I promise." She flitted out of the room, happy that the nurse helped her.

Reese took her eyes off Jake and looked at the nurse. "Hello," she said. "I just need some medicine to heal my head.I was slammed against the wall." She look back at Jack then back to the nurse.What happened?Siiiigh. "A fight broke out in the corridor.Between Jack and Jake." She nodded. "I tried to break it up and this is what I get."

Merry nodded. "Thank you for telling me." She gave him a smile for his cooperation. "Your leg doesn't look to be broken but kicks, especially during a fight, can leave nasty bruises." She grabbed an ice pack and handed it to him. "Here, put this on where it hurts, it will help the swelling."

5 a week? That was alot of headaches. "That many? Wow. Have you noticed any particular pattern? Like one might start when you haven't eaten in a little while or had enough to drink? Maybe being in a bright room for to long starts to bring one on? Anything like that?" Merry asked the girl. If she was getting migraines that frequently, a simple headache reliever potion might not be enough.

Merry nodded and gave the girl a small smile. "You'll be fine, hun." She lightly felt the girls side and then nodded. "You might have gotten off lucky. Nothing is broken but they do seem bruised and may be sore for the next couple of days. Apply ice three times a day for twenty minutes each time for the next two days." She moved to go to her cabinets so she could get some cream.

"This I want you to spread quite liberally over the hurt area when you leave from here, and then again at night for the next couple of nights as well. If you don't see any improvement of they are still hurting, come back and see me and I'll look again."

Merry gave a small chuckle. "At least you had the best intentions." She put a bit of cream on Reese's forehead where a small bump had already started to appear. "That should take care of the bump. However, I'm still going to give you a headache reliever potion just in case you do start to get a headache from it."

Man. Five a week? Was Livvy really getting that many headaches? It sure seemed like a lot though. She thought for a while and just shook her head. "I don't really pay attention to if there's any pattern. Usually the pain is good enough to knock my senses away and I don't really remember anything about when it starts up."

Jack frowned at her and shook his head, it was typical, girl likes teacher, gets rejected, suffers in silence.

Jack bit his lip feeling bad that Reese had gotten hurt

Jack took the ice pack and with a small "Thanks" he put it on his leg, then he watched her move around sorting out Piper and Reese, she was fast, efficient, Jack shivered a little at how cold it was but he shook his head again, this time to clear his thoughts, he sat back and let the ice rest on his leg.

Piper smiled gratefully as the nurse examined her. She gave a great sigh of relief as she heard that she would be just fine and nothing was broken. "Thank goodness.." She breathed out as she took the cream. " Thank you so much, I will come back if they don't get better." She said as she gingerly moved to her feet. She looked at Jack.. "I uh.. should probably leave now." She said as she glanced to Professor Dumont and then back to Jack.. he knew why.

John was in pain. He looked at the nurse and cried . "Leg broken." He wondered what the nurse would do, his leg was hurting like anything and he didn't know what he would do if he had to sit still much longer.

"Hmmm, I want you to start keeping a journal. Not a typical day to day journal but specifically for when you get headaches. When you feel one coming on, write it down and make a note of what you've just done, eaten, ran around the lake five times or even if you're just on you're way back from class. Then rate it. 1 being not that bad and still where you can carry on with life normally to 10. 10 being where you just want to hide under a rock and tell the little leprechauns riverdancing on your forehead to go away."

Merry grabbed a couple more vials of headache potion and handed them to Livvy. "Come to my office in about a week and I'll look over them and see if anything else should be done." She gave the girl a smile and really hoped that the headaches would stop. Poor girl.

Merry nodded and handed John a pain reliever potion and a small goblet of skelegrow. "Here drink these and just take it easy for a couple of minutes while the potion works and then I want you to be careful for the next few days. Legs rebreak easily if you are not careful." She patted his head and grinned.

"Ok, lets see that leg now." She removed the icepack and turned to look at the young boy. "How does it feel? Does it feel better when you walk on it?" Merry asked. He had had the icepack on for awhile and it should have had the desired effect.

Jack raised an eyebrow and nodded "See ya"

Jack looked over at John and rested his head on the wall feeling bad for John.

Jack winced as she took the ice pack off, he shook his head "It still hurts, but it's a little better" Jack told her as he stood up and gently placed some pressure on his leg, he gasped a little and then blinked "It still hurts, but I'm sure I can handle it" he smiled at her and put more weight on his good foot.

Reese smiled. "Yeah,I guess I did have the best intentions,"she told her.She sat still as the nurse put some cream on her head. "Okay,but,how long will it be until the bump disappears?" She gently nodded her head as the nurse said she was going to give her some headache reliver potion. "Okay,"she said. She wasn't feeling a headache,yet,but maybe it was a good idea to take a potion just in case one comes.

John drank the pain relieve potion first then the skelegrow. "Arg." He said as the skelegrow tasted aweful. "What is in that potion?" He asked as he did what the Nurse said and was very careful. He hoped that the Nurse would tell him what was in the potions.

Emalyn entered the waiting room, still clutching her hurt arm from the match. She sat down, she folded up her sleeve to see it better. She had just come from the match, and had left her blood-stained robes in her locker, where she would tend to them later.
"Stupid bugs," she thought, sighing. Why did they always have to ruin everything?

Cedric was walking in the waiting room...and he saw a girl..."hey!there...do you know plymouth and kayla..I saw them kissed..."Cedric said

"Hi," Emalyn said, smiling weakly. "How're you doing? Yes, I know them, but I've never talked to them personally. Are they a couple?" Emalyn could see the faces the two students in question in her head, but had never had the chance to introduce herself or chat.

"Only a couple of minutes." Merry told her reassuringly. "The cream works really fast."

Meredith gave a grin at the boys expression when he drank it."Trust me, you don't really want to know. There's a reason why it's so disgusting."

She noticed the young hufflepuff holding her arm and she appeared to be bleeding. "What happened to you?" Mere asked already starting to use her wand to clean up the excess blood.

Livvy smiled and nodded at the nurse. "Thank you Nurse Byron," she said, gratefully and took the vials of headache potion happily. Hopefully it would work for her. The headaches were a huge pain and she didn't want her friends to worry anymore.

Livvy stood up. "Thanks again. I'll see you in a week and I'll be sure to write in the journal," she said, grinning and left the Waiting Room.

Robert walked up the several flights of steps toward the Hospital wing with Nigel still over his shoulder. By the time he reached the last step and walked the few steps toward the hospital wing his legs were starting to feel like rubber. He knew he'd be sore tomorrow.

He watched as Elizabeth opened the door for him still carrying his bat which..thinking about it now...might not have been such a good move on his part since getting it back might prove harder than he thought. Walking through the doors slowly, feeling like his legs would give out any minute, he headed straight for a chair and slid the unconscious Nigel off his shoulder and onto the chair, falling into the one beside it with a tired sigh.

As he waited to be seen by the nurse he rubbed his shoulder, thankful that the weight was off and felt something wet. Pulling his hand back he noticed that Nigel's blood had gotten onto his uniform and he frowned.
