Here is where you will come to be healed. The waiting room does tend to get really crowded so please keep chatting to a minimum so as to not clog up the thread with useless posts for me to have to sift through to get to the necessary ones.
The Nurse will get to you as soon as she can. So please try to be patient when she is busy with other students.
"Okay Jake, but know this... if you make one move towards that door, I will be forced to take a different approach." She warned, the look in her eyes telling him that she meant business. No doubt about that. She lowered Jake into a nearby chair but kept her wand pointed right at him. "Now stay in that seat and keep quiet until the nurse gets here. And Jake... don't make me say it again."
How tempting? Very tempting.
Then again, this different approach seemed rather ominous... then again... veeeeeeeeeery tempting.
The very second Jake hit the chair, he sprang back up, using it as a kick-start and going for the door. The only thing that worried Jake was the wand pointed straight at him. He didn't like that situation any more that he liked... Cale Newell. And that took some beating. Hand on his own wand but still in his pocket, Jake just knew he would not be very successful.
Sigh.
One phrase was ringing around his head. And Jake... don't make me say it again. Not liking the sound of that one bit, he realised that he may have made a graaaaave error.
Jake was scared... but he feared this place more right now.

Needless to say, Iliana had been prepared for him to run. She would have bet all the tea in China that Jacob Upstead could not be trusted after all he had put her through already. So before his running feet made contact with the ground, Iliana swished her wand through the air and knocked Jake back into his seat. "Incarcerous!" She called out, sending thin cords from her wand, binding him to the chair.
"And because I am tired of your lies, I think I've heard enough from you today." She said, aiming her wand at him again. "Silencio!" She said. "There, that's better." She exclaimed, walking over and taking the seat next to him calmly.
Iliana then took a deep, relaxed breath and leaned back in her chair, quietly surveying the room. After a moment's silence an electric smile played on her lips as she silently summoned Jake's wand from his hand and placed it inside her robes, along with her own.

Reason: ^_^
"Umph!" Jake managed to groan as he was knocked back again. Trying to get back up, Jake heard Professor Morgan's voice say that meeeeean rope spell thingy, and he was tied to the chair.
"Th-" Before Jake could even finish his word, some blasted spell went and shut him up. And Jake had no way of touching his face to sort himself out. At least in wasn't that one which glued Jake's tongue to the roof of his mouth, that was scary.
Get me OFF this bloody chaaaaaaaaaair! Jake tried to scream out, but of course nothing happened. OOOOOOFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!! Still nothing.
Professor Morgan then had to go and sit right next to Jake, freaking him out. Needless to say, when Jake's wand somehow fled from his hand, he panicked. Evil! She's evil! She took my only means of defense! Evil! Jake again tried to shout, conveniently forgetting about the spell. Nevertheless, Jake realised that he did have the silencing spell coming... after the lie.
The lie! The first time in his entire life that Jake had ever told a lie, and this... oh the humanity! But he wasn't going to be silenced yet, oh no. Using his feet which just about touched the floor, Jake pushed his chair back against the wall, satisfied by the sound it made; not too soft, not too loud.
Frowning at first around the room, Jake turned to look up at his Care of Magical Creatures teacher, and kept repeating the action of chair-meet-wall, still staring up at her.
Some people are totally going to kill me...

Merry wasn't sure how she felt about the teacher tieing up Jake. He had always seemed so sweet and she liked him. "What's going on here?" She asked the professor.
She then turned to Jake. "I'm going to lift the silencing charm but if you start screaming in my waiting room I'll be the way to silence you." She released the spell but left him tied. No need to completely free him until she know what in Merlin was going on.
Jake was still slamming his chair backwards when the nurse lady spoke up. He glanced round for a second, not expecting much to happen. Then the silencing charm was lifted.
"Get me outta these things!" Jake cried out immediately, thrashing about as much as he could in his current predicament. "I... don't... want... on... this... chair! She... tied me up..." Jake began to pull harder on the ropes than before, feeling it on his shoulder and yelping loudly. "I wanna go Home!!!!!" he growled through gritted teeth. "Go! Go! Go!"
Finally, some progress...

"The healer will fix it in five seconds and then you won't even be able to notice it was ever broken! Unlike MEEEEEE who might have permanent damage due to this one!" he grumbled.
A natural clutz? WHAT? Was it his fault that he had horrible equilibrium? Noooooo, that had something to do with the fluid in his inner ear. "Well excuse ME for just being naturally clumsy. You know, I'm not alwayssssssss injured," he mumbled. "And, for your information, I have NEVER walked around dressed like a mummy."
Had Anna's head and nose not been throbbing with pain, she'd have snapped right back at Cale. Besides that, it really hurt her to hurt him, even though she'd never let him know that. Ugh. How had he managed to turn her into a softie? Anna Greingoth was no softie, yet she melted each and every time Cale was around. "Okay, okay. I'm calming down. I have calmed down," she said, still using the palm of her hand to cover up her nose. It didn't make the pain ease, but it definitely hid the embarrassment. "Fine, Cale. You haven't walked around like a mummy. Let's just drop it and wait for the nurse. I'm embarrassed..."

"Well I can guarentee you won't have permentant damage from the broken nose. However, the clumsiness....well it happens to the best of us." She said with a little bit of a grin hinting that they had a common enemy. Gravity.
She handed each a pain reliever potion and with a wave of her wand cleaned the blood that had dried and stopped the blood that continued to run.
Oh, thank Merlin! Help had arrived! Anna removed hand off her nose, making a face when she saw the blood that had poured out into her palm. Ew. "Oh, thank you!" Anna exclaimed, breathing a sigh of relief when she was told that she'd suffer no permanent damage. Anna smiled sweetly at Cale when she heard the nurse's comment about clumsiness. That did it. As soon as they were out of here, she was going to hug him tightly and make sure her baby knew that no matter what, he was her hero. Anna happily took the pain releiever potion and then allowed the nurse to clean up all her blood. This little situation was getter better and better by the minute. "Oh, thank you! I was afraid I'd be stuck like this forever. I'm not used to accidents. My nose...is it still broken?" Anna asked, patting it softly.

Kayla entered the hospital wing a little out of breath from having run to the third floor from the Huffie common room. She had wanted to make sure that Spence and Ross were safely tucked away before she had left. Professor Kazimeriz's words still rung in her ears that there may be something dangerous lurking around Hogwarts and she didn't want anything more happening to her house mates.
"I apologise for taking so long Professor Morgan, those two younger students weren't too happy about having to stay in the common room, but under the circumstances..."she trailed off taking in the appearance of Jacob Upstead being tied to the chair. Kayla raised an eyebrow but said nothing, obviously the Professor had her reasons. "Um...would I be out of line in asking what exactly is going on?"

Professor Morgan felt undeniable relief when the nurse appeared. Finally Jake could get fixed up and this ridiculousness could end. She gave the woman a grateful smile and began to explain. "Well ma'am, it seems that young Mr. Upstead here received a rather bad injury a few months back. Its his shoulder that's been hurt. I was pretty sure he'd dislocated it but he refused to let me look at it." She started, looking over at the flailing boy and frowning at his still atrocious behavior. "At that time I had ordered him here, to see you. I found out today that not only did he disobey that order, he's apparently attempted to 'fix' his shoulder himself. He's still in a terrible amount of pain. I was hoping that you could take a look at him. For some reason he doesn't have faith enough in me to allow me to."
She took a deep breath and wondered if she should go into detail about Jake's running (from everyone) or his strange, yet unexplained Healer-phobia. "The ropes are an attempt to keep him from hurting himself any more than he already has. I'm sure if he stops moving around and trying to flee then this could all be taken care of in no time."
So then why did she feel like she wanted to cry? Oh poor Jake....
She turned her attention to Kayla and nodded. "There's no need to apologize. Your assistance has been invaluable to me today. Thank you." She said, patting the seat next to here. "Please have a seat. We shouldn't be here much longer."
"No!" Jake cried out, tears coming to his eyes, though he refused to let them fall. "No more. Let me go..." His flailing reached its peak as he started to panic and throw his chair back. My arms... trapped... I need my arms...
It was inexplicable to Jake, why he panicked suddenly, but he knew that he needed to get out. He tugged and tugged, which caused more and more pain, which made him panic and flail, which made him tug and tug... Jake's breathing quickened as he tried to shift his chair away, not knowing how he would exactly get down the stairs.
This method of moving wasn't getting him very far at all, not even out of the line of chairs. Looking up the waiting room, Jake finally caught sight of the place he had stood that day... the day after the incident at the library. A quick flashback of a falling boy later, and Jake was wide-eyed and pale. His bottom lip went as he remembered the coldness of the skin. He thought he saw someone right ahead of him...
"No," Jake yelped, before trying to make his chair fall, as if that would somehow get him away from the imaginary Set. He had no-one to go to for help.

Kayla nodded at Professor Morgan and took a seat beside her. "That is quite alright. I have become quite fond of Jake here, so if there is something wrong with him I would like to help" she looked over to Jake, genuinely concerned for the first year's welfare.

"Jake, you do realise that the more you struggle the tighter the ropes will become" Kayla told him. She watched him with growing concern as he continued to struggle against the ropes and she jumped slightly when he yelled out and the look on his face...
Kayla moved in front of Jake and knelt down so that she was eye to eye with him. "It was a tragedy what happened to Set" she said softly, "But nothing like that is going to happen to you okay...I won't let it. Not to my Jake, the little first year I helped get his first wand and almost punched Dominic Denton in the mouth while sticking up for him" Kayla stood up and looked over to Professor Morgan, "I think he's suffering from post traumatic stress but of course I am no healer that's just my opinion."

"Yes it's still broken but the pain reliever will at least make you feel no pain as I fix it." She grinned and a simple charm letter the nose was fixed. "There, that should do it. If there's anything else you need then don't hesitate to let me know."

A dislocated shoulder? That's what all this is about? That was dumb. "I can't help someone if they don't want to be helped. A dislocated shoulder is easily fixed for sure but does not require tying up a student." She released the ropes around but was sure to block the way so Jake couldn't leave. Taking ahold of the arm and pulling at the right angle to pop the shoulder back into place, Merry fixed it. "Now you may go."
Jake shook as Kayla spoke to him, listening to her words. He didn't much believe her, not one iota... but he understood. He knew kinda that he should have gotten fixed up before, and that Professor Morgan was doing this for his own benefit. But he couldn't shake that scared feeling, the feeling as if he was a volcano that was about to blow. Still with scared eyes, Jake looked around to his professor.
And then...
And then...
And. Then.
Jake suddenly felt alot less restricted, and he turned to look up at the nurse lady, still pale, and offering a weak smile. But then she grabbed his arm, and three or four months worth of exertion and tugging and down right pain, was all there. Right there.
And it was agony.
"WHAT THE-" Jake screamed out, as he felt the arm finally go back into it's rightful position. But NOT in the way it should. "What was THAT for?!" he bellowed screwing up his eyes in agony and letting himself drop to the floor, clutching his arm in a vice grip. The morals in his entire mind suddenly changed, and Jake was totally on Professor Morgan's side.
"She TRIED to help me! She was GENTLE!" he yelled, insensed, not thinking. "If she hadn't done that, I'd be... I'd... I mean, have you lost your ever-lovin' mind talking to my teacher like that?!" Jake shook his head furiously. "YOU'RE EVIL!"
Seeing red, Jake had to take his anger out on something. But not people, never people. That's what they had ALWAYS told him... never people. Swinging his leg out wildly in a kick towards the chairs, Jake let one go off into an empty space of the waiting room, one harmlessly bounce off the wall, but the third one went wild and zoomed straight for Professor Morgan. Great, now she hates me. And bugger! She totally has my wand!
"I can't deal with this!" Jake stressed. The bullying, the intimidation, the teachers, the pain, the whole death thing. He couldn't take it. "To hell with this!" Jake then took some time to spout off a couple of more choice words that weren't likely to be repeated in a civilised conversation ever again, before finally calming down and looking around him.
Sure, it wasn't much at ALL, no damage except a knocked over chair and some perferated eardrums. Oh, and maybe a broken teacher... Jake never stayed to check what happened with that chair. He ran. Ran and ran, and didn't stop. Not until he was far off, down and out in the grounds, in the only place he could think about going to.

Iliana was elated to know that she had someone else with her right now that seemed to adore Jake as much as she did. She listened closely as Kayla tried to comfort him but was immediately concerned when she heard her mention Set's name. Oh no, so THIS is what's been bothering poor Jake. He must be so frightened. She thought, nodding her head in agreement and reaching out to touch Jake's hand.

Iliana watched in horror as Jake screamed and flailed his body about . "JACOB CALM DOWN!" She pleaded and then something suddenly struck out of nowhere. "Ow!" She screamed out in pain, falling to the floor and clutching at her leg. And before she could do anything to prevent it, Jake was gone.
One minute she was talking to Jake and thought she was getting through to him and the next the nurse was there telling Jake he could go. Um...no it wasn't quite that simple and Kayla took a step towards Jake, when he started going ballistic and she took a step back. "Jake, please stop you're going to hurt yourself more."
She watched as he kicked at one the chairs and Kayla jumped out of the way and...oh no it hit Professor Morgan. Kayla, didn't know what to do she looked between Jake and the Professor and the next thing she knew Jake had sprinted out the door.
Kayla grabbed hold of Professor Morgan by the arm and attempted to hoist her back up. "Are you okay, Professor?" she looked back at the door and then back towards Morgan, "Do you want me to go after him or would you prefer I stay here with you?" Kayla knew she could find Jake, in a heartbeat she had always had that knack of tracking things down so she wasn't particularly concerned at the moment. No her immediate concern was Professor Morgan but seeing how she was in the hospital wing, she probably really didn't need to worry.
Toothpick Disappearer * Likes her 'figgies' * Mmm... Bagels!
Valentine let go of Kyle's hand just before running into the Hospital Wing's waiting room. She heard some shouts and screams coming from it, she didn't know what they were about but knew that the girl down at the lake needed some help.
"Ma'am!" Valentine almost tripped on her way in. She looked around, realizing this was the first time she had actually stepped into the Hospital wing in her two years of attending to the school. But she couldn't think of that, there were other matters to attend to. "Ma'am, a girl down by the lake. Something is wrong with her..."
Valentine looked behind her, waiting for Kyle to come over and explain what he saw, hoping some help would happen.
Rushing into the hospital wing, Kyle glanced around and saw the room was full. The nurse was busy. Way to busy. She had a job out for her. Since when was the hospital wing so full??
Kyle looked over at Valentine. "Any more ideas? How about a professor or someone?"
Toothpick Disappearer * Likes her 'figgies' * Mmm... Bagels!
Kyle was right, it seemed way to busy around here. But with all the hectic mess going around in the school, Valentine had a feel as though getting a teacher to help out might even be a bigger struggle than waiting her and screaming for help. It seemed as though every time she went out to get the help of a teacher, they were MIA. "I don't know what to do." Valentine looked over at Kyle and shrugged as her head shook softly.
One minute she was talking to Jake and thought she was getting through to him and the next the nurse was there telling Jake he could go.
Professor Morgan nodded her head slowly and looked up at Kayla. "I'm fine dear." She said, pulling her robes back to reveal her injured leg. "See, it didn't even break the skin. I'm sure its just a deep bruise, it should heal in no time." She reassured the worried prefect, gently patting her face with her hand. Injured or not, her leg was of no concern to her now. They had to find Jake.
Iliana placed both hands on the ground and pushed herself back up to a standing position, grimacing slightly when the weight on her right leg was too much. She shifted her weight to her left to relieve the pressure and then turned to Kayla with a grave look on her face. "Let's find him together. He must be scared to death." She said. "Come on, there's no time to lose." Then, with an obvious limp, Iliana left the waiting room.
Kyle sighed. There had to be something they could do. He looked over at Valentines defeated frame and put a hand on her shoulder. "Well thanks anyway for helping. And thanks for sticking with the story. i dont think they believed but hey, we stumped them/" he said smiling

Valentine chuckled softly and then looked around the hospital wing. She felt bad not getting the girl any help, maybe she was already better? Valentine kind of doubted it. She didn't want to go back to the girl, but that would just make her a bad person. "I don't think they believed us either." She said with a soft nervous chuckle.
*Gabben walked in with the younger student Ella in his arms. He very lightly set her down on a chair and look her over.*
"Do you think you can sit up? Or do you need to lay down?"
*He looked around seeing that the place was full.*
"It might be awhile before you get to see the nurse."
Chase carried Livvy into the waiting room adn looked around. THere had to be a place to set her. Finally he placed her down on one of the chairs near the back. "Dont worry. Im not goig to leave you. We are goig to figure out whats going on. Im your best friend.. Im not goig to leave you." he told her giving her a soft smile and stood beside her looking for the busy nurse who had alot of students. He was glad that they had the best healer anyone had ever seen.
Whitney followed Chase and Livvy all the way to the Hospital Wing in silence, trying hard not to think of him carrying her. When they finally got there,Whit sat down and just as she was about to ask just what had happened while she had disappeared in her head, Chase spoke. If only he hadn't. 'What are you doing?' She had no idea what was going on through her head. It was nothing, all he said was that he'd never leave her. No big deal. So then why was she wishing that was her? Even if Livvy was crying and in pain.
Pushing whatever crazy thoughts that were running around in her head, Whit looked over at Livvy and said, "don't worry hun. Like Chase said, you'll be okay. They'll find out what's wrong." At that she slightly grinned and looked up at Chase. Once she caught his eye, Whit lingered a minute and looked away. 'STOP IT!' She was just going crazy. It was all of the stress from earlier and then from this. That's all. Nothing big at all.

Chase looked down at Livvy as she sat in pain i the chair and then looked back at Whit. Deciding that Livvy would be ok if Chase wasnt EXACTLY at her side, he edged over to Whit. "Hey." he said plainly and kissed ehr forehead.

Livvy smiled weakly as Chase set her down. She crossed her arms and bit her lip as she tried to take her mind off of the headache. "Thanks Chase. You really are a great friend," Livvy said, weakly. How different it'd be if it had been boyfriend, but she wouldn't let herself think about such things anymore. Whit and Chase were perfect for each other. And her role in their life would only be the best friend. Now Livvy knew how poor Copernicus felt. But his situation was way worse. He fell for his step-BROTHER'S girlfriend.
She smiled at Whit and gave her a hug. "Thanks Whit. I do hope that's what will happen," Livvy said, and released the girl from her arms so that Chase and Whit could have some time together. She had already caused enough trouble. All she could do now was just step back. Livvy tried rubbing the headache away when she remembered something. She took the letter that Mari had sent her. Livvy went through her pockets and opened it, after she made sure that Chase and Whit weren't looking.
SPOILER!!: The letter...
Dear Livvy,
Hi sweetie, how have you been? Well, obviously not good if you've been having those pains. But, has there been less headaches now? You know how my friend Michael is a doctor right? Well, I confided in him about what you've been experiencing these days, and he says there might be something wrong with your brain. How long has it been going on? If it's been for quite a couple of months, then we definitely should have that checked, sweetheart. But we should check anyway, just for safety. I don't trust magic and healers that much nowadays. We should just do it like ordinary people.
I booked you a plane ticket to Taiwan. You'll be leaving in a week. Hope that you have no rejection to this. Health is important. That's how your mother went.
Take care, Livvy.
Love,
Mari
